I had an amazing experience here at The Aviary. The staff were very helpful & knowledgeable. Like any other in-patient place, if you treat the staff with respect, they will return the favor. I liked the fact that they would hire former clients who were living in recovery. It was motivating to me. I would never want to return as a client, but defiantly as an employee!!

Good place if u want help, not perfect but it is what u make off it! Staff friendly, beautiful property, counselors n nurses genuinely want to help! Besides one person on staff that I hope is immediately fired bc she is disrespectful n on power trip, won’t say her name but starts with A and rymes with me! lol im greatful for my short stay there and genuinely thank you all for ur kindness 🤙🏻

Very happy with all the knowledge I left here with. The accommodations are pretty good (only recovery place I've been). But others who have been to others, mentioned how much better this place is. Just keep in mind you are going there to focus on you. Absorb all the group information and take notes. The staff os all amazing!

At Quincy Recovery I found myself quietly observing everything during the first few days. The staff was compassionate, but they also knew how to keep things structured so I didn’t fall off track.They weren’t just treating symptoms — they helped me figure out the why behind it all. I felt safe, supported, and actually hopeful for the first time in a long while. Quincy was the turning point I didn’t know I needed.
Have been going there for years. I have always been happy with both the medical side and the pharmaceutical side. Love the girls at the pharmacy. So down to earth. Very nice people and very helpful. They get me in pretty quick and Dr Greenwell is thorough in explaining things. The nurses are very nice, great bedside manner and down to earth too.

Dr. Norvell is the most amazing doctor ever!!! Know matter how scared and worried my kids are to get their dentals done. She always finds a way to calm them and make them feel comfortable. She does an amazing job!

Compass Health is an under knownabout God Send..A well thought out Total Health Network, that has serving points for the total human experience... Body (Primary Care Physicians) Mind (Physchiatrics) Soul (Substance Use Disorder) "Dental" Care on Site; and maybe "Vision Care" coming in the future... They are able to go into the field with company vehicles and visit clients, and also provide rides to the headquarters for in person care and classes, which is of the utmost importance for the downtrodden and less fortunate .. My Counselor is Terra Trent, a very intelligent, wonderful sweet soul, with great insight to the human condition and a special nurturing side that always shines through her soul... My Community Support is Michelle Wapple, a more perfect job she couldnt have found... Caring and Loving and Kind, is what the job calls for, and she is that PERSONIFIED... They never make you feel like you are just a paycheck for them, and are just putting in their time till their next break and clocking out time... They should add an "ION" on to their name ... And be COMPASSION Health Network Inc. In my very humble opinion...
What an outstanding experience at Turning Point, I enjoyed talking to my counselor, she actually seemed to care about her patients unlike some of my past counselors at other facilities, there is a structured program to follow that helps you to stay sober! I would recommend this center to anyone who needs a real change!
Dr. Shiue is an amazing physician, she was my son's pedestrian, I remember him getting sick and i would call and she would always see him I know she worked through lunch and stayed late as well. He was 21 and no longer technically her patient but had not seen an adult Phyician and was going to be over a week to get in, I called the office with my concerns, they spoke with her and she saw him through her lunch break, Dr. Shiue also called the adult Doctor and got him in the next day, turned out he had a really bad case of pneumonia. Dr. Shiue also gave me her private cell number to call her if I needed anything. She is totally an amazing person as well as a physician, she really cares about her patients and the parents as well, she has called me after hours to follow up on my son. It was very hard to move on to an adult physician. I can not say enough about the staff and her. My son is now grown and is expecting a little one of his own and of course Dr. Shiue will be her Doctor. I trusted her with my son and now my Granddaughter 100 %. Dr. Shiue is one in a million and can't say how happy I am she will be seeing my Granddaughter

They got my granddaughter in very quick. They accessed her bug bite, and it's nothing to worry about. While checking her out, the doctor noticed her throat looked like possible step throat, but luckily, it wasn't. The patient and her sister got Popsicles, which they loved, and a sticker on the way out.

There are some good and some bad things that had happened during my son's admission. I will start with the bad, as it was much less, there wasn't communication between myself and any of his care team. I never really knew what was going on unless my son directly told me during his phone calls. Not knowing what they were thinking about his status and what had caused him to get to the point where he was and how we could help him was upsetting.
Now to the good, and I will say after reading other reviews I was honestly TERRIFIED for him to go there. I sat in the ER with him my stomach in knots and scared not knowing what he would endure after they took him from me. After speaking with him the first day I knew everything was going to be ok. My son told me he was ok and that everything he knew I read was not accurate. My son said as long as they followed the rules and did what was expected of them everything was fine. That he was rather shocked how much they were fed, how they were able to do group, and mostly how they were treated with respect as long as they did the same.

First VISIT for a different Change in the Process of how this HOSPITAL visit works overall every situation went okay ..... hopefully we won't have to come back for this very FAR distance travel .....but thank you to all for accepting our insurance and taking time out for my child .

The mental health program here is absolutely wonderful. The staff is compassionate and sincerely care about their patients. My nurses Bob, Alyssa, Jennifer, Annie, Jordan (and many more overnight nurses as well as doctors) were absolutely the best!! The recreational therapist Elisa was literally sunshine in human form.
My Daughter is there . Girls Town works with my daughter and I do thank them for being there for her and wished they would let my daughter come and stay a weekend with me so she can come home when she dose I will be so happy .

The difference I've seen Missouri Girls Town make in clients they serve is tremendous. I love watching clients learn different ways to cope with their trauma and learn the skills they need to live a productive, healthy, meaningful life when they leave Missouri Girls Town. The staff truly love what they do and all have the same goal....to help the youth in need.

This organization is amazing! I have attended many events for Missouri Girls Town, and the stories from former residents truly speak to the support and help that Missouri Girls Town provides. Without them, many of these girls' lives would be destroyed by their abusive parents and foster parents. This organization actually helps these young girls to achieve more and overcome the trauma they have endured. Someone has to help these kids and I'm glad that Missouri Girls Town is doing its part to help these young ladies.
I have been to other locations specifically a neighboring county and I would say the Troy location has gone above and beyond my expectations based on my previous experiences in other locations. They are all very friendly, understanding, and even got me in quickly when I missed an appointment. Natasha is awesome nurse Bethany is great and the drs, therapists, front desk, and counselors are all really friendly and as accommodating as they can be! I’d recommend this facility if you’re looking for services and want the help you will find it here! They even have a ping pong table in the day room. a good experience every time overall. Greatly appreciated

They have amazing, helpful and understanding staff and doctors. I feel blessed for this program because it encourages me to be better. I've been here for almost a year now, and I can honestly say that they have helped me to change my behavior, to improve my attitude and to have a better lifestyle. My daughter came here after years of issues. Could not get her to stop hurting herself. We had one other residential school that she was in. This place is God sent. I see a major difference in her. I would recommend this school to any parent struggling with a child/teen. They work with you as well, weekly meetings. So you become part of the solution. For the first time in years I am hopeful for her to grow up and have a Normal life.

I miss this place so much I had great memories here for my 3 months stay. if i could do it over again I would. crazy its already been 3 years since I left, almost 4! the memories still feel fresh like it was yesterday miss you Mr bob, Mrs Mo, Mrs Chelsea, jean, Marty, Mr Mike, (Leo, who I saw a few weeks ago) lol, Kent, Nick, Julie, Mrs Devon the list goes on! An amazing place of adventure and fun every single day I woke up there. i am now getting ready for college. <3 my final goodbye.

I am a former client who is grateful today that a place like this exists. The staff showed me nothing but love and support. I chose to not take the opportunity of strengthing my leadership quality they presented me with at that time. But, in doing so I now have a beautiful wife coming up on 5 years of marriage and 2 gorgeous daughters to fit. The Farm changed my life and is breathtaking. Out on this beautiful hill they have a great big old Hickory Tree that is split straight down the middle by a bolt of lightning. This place gave me insight into myself that to this day I can recognize thanks to Mr. Chris, Ms. Chels,Mrs. Chelsea, Rockin Rob, Ms. Chenoa, Mr. Bob of course Mr. CLINT and lastly Ms. KAT. The rehab mother of all.

They aren’t perfect. I’ve had issues with case workers not understanding the full extent of my child’s problems. That being said they have also been very helpful and supportive. Through the years it is clear that they honestly care and want my children safe and supported. I’m glad my children are able to get case management. This gives them a safe adult to talk about what is bothering them. They are able to give me feedback on ways to support my family.

The staff is friendly and goes out of their way to help in any way they can. The groups are useful and they offer specialized classes that I've found to be very beneficial.

The staff at the Arthur center have been very helpful reminding me of appointments for our family and squeezing us in, when necessary, the front desk staff in BH, Medical, Dental, Pediatrics and Pharmacy have all been great and understanding.
