I had an amazing experience here at The Aviary. The staff were very helpful & knowledgeable. Like any other in-patient place, if you treat the staff with respect, they will return the favor. I liked the fact that they would hire former clients who were living in recovery. It was motivating to me. I would never want to return as a client, but defiantly as an employee!!

Good place if u want help, not perfect but it is what u make off it! Staff friendly, beautiful property, counselors n nurses genuinely want to help! Besides one person on staff that I hope is immediately fired bc she is disrespectful n on power trip, won’t say her name but starts with A and rymes with me! lol im greatful for my short stay there and genuinely thank you all for ur kindness 🤙🏻

Very happy with all the knowledge I left here with. The accommodations are pretty good (only recovery place I've been). But others who have been to others, mentioned how much better this place is. Just keep in mind you are going there to focus on you. Absorb all the group information and take notes. The staff os all amazing!

This is a very nice VA! If you are a Veteran and not enrolled in the VA You should go to St Charles VA Clinic! Everyone is very nice and I have been to a lot of different Doctors and levels.

Just had an annual visit. Melissa (with the boots) was awesome. Friendly, attentive, and professional. My tech was also great! Upbeat and professional and his blood draw was perfect. Everyone there was good to deal with. Thank you!!

After traveling 2 hrs away for a wrestling tournament, my son ended up in the ER here for a head injury/suturs. Staff were relaxed, attentive and made the process smooth and quick. Best care ever in an Emergency Room.

This hospital is truly exceptional. I had never been admitted to a hospital before, so I came in terrified and unsure of what to expect. From the moment I arrived, every part of the experience was made as comfortable as possible. While no one enjoys being in the hospital, I felt genuinely cared for by every nurse, doctor, PA, psychiatrist, and even the food staff. I arrived feeling like a complete mess and left feeling stable for the first time in a month. The food was great, too! If I ever have another emergency, this is absolutely where I’ll return. I just want all of you to know how deeply appreciated you are. Your work isn’t easy, but you truly heal and help people every day. Special shoutout to Nurses Noura, Bill, Chloe, Z, Erin, Eboni, Ciarra, and Chelsea. Also shoutout to Dr Burihan, Dr Borreggine, and the food staff Brittany and Christina. Thank you so much!

Have been going there for years. I have always been happy with both the medical side and the pharmaceutical side. Love the girls at the pharmacy. So down to earth. Very nice people and very helpful. They get me in pretty quick and Dr Greenwell is thorough in explaining things. The nurses are very nice, great bedside manner and down to earth too.

I was here back in 2010; obviously grew up a lot since then, I enjoyed this more than school and remember it significantly, only wish that I could of been able to sit outside more.

I used to be depressed and suicidal, but now I'm only a little depressed and not suicidal at all. Tysm ilysm. And I hope you still have that picture of you. I'm crying rn if you actually respond. 🥰🥰🥰 I really want to go back even though I'm all better. If you have any suicidal thoughts go see a counselor, or go to mercy/ hospital but only if you don't feel safe at home. Don't make suicide into a joke. It's a serious thing. Physicians and Nurse Practitioners were very professional and thorough.

The doctors and nurses at the hospital we're very nice and took good care of me. The facilities are dated and in need of many repairs. I was in different rooms throughout the hospital and the TVs did not work properly. One of my rooms had water running out of the bathroom across the floor. SSM needs to spend some money rehabilitating the hospital.

Have been in and out of different hospital for several years.. best service and care so far.

I’ve had very positive experiences with this company. Especially Addie (my caseworker) and Chad, a community support specialist who always had the wisdom one needs when feeling low in life. Grateful for this company. It’s not perfect. But, it’s better than nothing at all. 💚🙏

Dr. Norvell is the most amazing doctor ever!!! Know matter how scared and worried my kids are to get their dentals done. She always finds a way to calm them and make them feel comfortable. She does an amazing job!

Compass Health is an under knownabout God Send..A well thought out Total Health Network, that has serving points for the total human experience... Body (Primary Care Physicians) Mind (Physchiatrics) Soul (Substance Use Disorder) "Dental" Care on Site; and maybe "Vision Care" coming in the future... They are able to go into the field with company vehicles and visit clients, and also provide rides to the headquarters for in person care and classes, which is of the utmost importance for the downtrodden and less fortunate .. My Counselor is Terra Trent, a very intelligent, wonderful sweet soul, with great insight to the human condition and a special nurturing side that always shines through her soul... My Community Support is Michelle Wapple, a more perfect job she couldnt have found... Caring and Loving and Kind, is what the job calls for, and she is that PERSONIFIED... They never make you feel like you are just a paycheck for them, and are just putting in their time till their next break and clocking out time... They should add an "ION" on to their name ... And be COMPASSION Health Network Inc. In my very humble opinion...

Just wanted to come on here and leave an update since my last review. I only have one thing to say… BRING BACK Becky!!! The only reason I’m giving this place a five star rating is because of Nancy, Becky! These nurses are amazing and go above and beyond. They are so overworked and at times very unappreciated by some of the clients. High five to Mark and Jeff as well these two councilors are handling very heavy caseloads but still manage to show that they love their job and want what’s best for their clients. They also know how to handle the hot headed ones 😂🙋🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ the reasons I could have given it a one star: Their drug lab sucks!! 50 percent of the time their results are wrong. You could be 100 percent clean and the test could come back positive. They know the lab sucks but says there is nothing they can do about it… when they send it back to be retested then most of the time the true results will come back. But now they have this new rule where you have to pay 35 dollars for your test to be retested!! It’s a money making scam!! They tell you the lab sucks and most of the time will get your results wrong but now wanna charge you 35 to have it sent back!??!? They know they’ll make hella money! What pisses me off is for the one such as myself who are on probation, this could potentially get me in huge trouble! Thank god I get hair follicles from the state! For the love of God New Seasons… GET A NEW LAB!!

Dr. Shiue is an amazing physician, she was my son's pedestrian, I remember him getting sick and i would call and she would always see him I know she worked through lunch and stayed late as well. He was 21 and no longer technically her patient but had not seen an adult Phyician and was going to be over a week to get in, I called the office with my concerns, they spoke with her and she saw him through her lunch break, Dr. Shiue also called the adult Doctor and got him in the next day, turned out he had a really bad case of pneumonia. Dr. Shiue also gave me her private cell number to call her if I needed anything. She is totally an amazing person as well as a physician, she really cares about her patients and the parents as well, she has called me after hours to follow up on my son. It was very hard to move on to an adult physician. I can not say enough about the staff and her. My son is now grown and is expecting a little one of his own and of course Dr. Shiue will be her Doctor. I trusted her with my son and now my Granddaughter 100 %. Dr. Shiue is one in a million and can't say how happy I am she will be seeing my Granddaughter

Staff is always so friendly and helpful!

They got my granddaughter in very quick. They accessed her bug bite, and it's nothing to worry about. While checking her out, the doctor noticed her throat looked like possible step throat, but luckily, it wasn't. The patient and her sister got Popsicles, which they loved, and a sticker on the way out.

They really care about their patients.
