I’ve been coming here since 2022 and have had better progress and experience than I’ve had with any other facility in my part of Illinois/St. Louis. Although the psychiatric program is horrible and the therapy program would be excellent if you weren’t spending more time getting to know a new therapist every 6 months instead of working on your issues. (so when another job position opens up and pays more these therapist up and leave). For the most part I don’t have anything bad to say about this place my doctor is Kevin Garner and he’s the best primary care Provider that I’ve ever had. He cares and if he can help me with anything he does are points me into the direction I’m supposed to go. I didn’t catch the names of the two young ladies at the front, but they were so kind and went above and beyond to make sure I was directed to the right department. As a high-risk pregnant patient preparing for a trip, I came in seeking reassurance, even though it wasn’t an emergency and they truly advocated for me so I could be seen. That meant more than I can express. Once I was in the maternity ward, I was cared for by Maddy, who was absolutely wonderful. She listened attentively to my concerns, made sure I was comfortable, and treated me with such compassion, it really made me feel like what I was experiencing mattered. Medical student Advika was also very sweet. Even though she was observing, she brought warmth to the room and made the experience more personal, we even shared some laughs, which helped ease my nerves. Then Nurse Practitioner Dr. Alex came in and truly exceeded all expectations. She conducted my exam thoroughly, addressed every concern I had, and completely put my mind at ease. On top of that, she took the time to call me the next day to follow up and wish me a safe trip. That level of care and follow-through is rare and deeply appreciated. This was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a hospital. Because of these amazing women, I’m heading into my trip feeling confident, reassured, and at peace. They were very attentive and never ONCE made me feel that I was 'bothering' them even when I needed them at midnight or noon. The techs that went beyond the call of duty and must be named are Lyn - who was always friendly and smiling. This can make a person's day when spending multiple days in a facility. Also, Lea and An'drea were cheerful and attentive. These employees seem to truly LOVE what they do! Thanks to all them! Thanks to SSM Rehab Hospital for hiring people who really CARE about your patients! Physical Therapy Staff I need to recognize are Megan who was my primary therapist. She was so supportive, understanding, and encouraging. She knew exactly what I needed and 'PUSHED' me to go further and do more than I thought I could! Jeremy and Candace stand out as techs who were there when they were needed and went beyond the call of duty to serve their patients. I will never forget their kindness. The entire staff was so supportive! Amy, my case manager, was very helpful and set up everything for my return home. She was there to keep me informed. At the time of my illness, Amy was working alone as they were short handed in the Case Management department. She was managing everyone on the floor. I recently finished treatment at the Aviary. It changed my life. All of the counselars truly care about every single clients and are awesome helping you in anyway they can. The nurses are super awesome and friendly. The coaches care and run their butts off helping all the clients. The admin office will work their butts off helping in anyway they can(especially hounding your hr department at work to get your insurance info when they drag their feet getting the info sent off). The kitchen staff are awesome, they work so hard fixing good food and they deliver. Love ya Miss Debbie!!!! Nothing bad to say about the Aviary. Thank you so much for helping me. This place was all about helping others get to the starting point in your life to see there is life out there without drugs if you want it that bad you can have it . Even though I left there and I relapsed 4 years ago that was my choice that I made because I wasn't ready then . Now I'm thriving ,sober ,have my kids back in my life ,and a new baby girl . This place made a big impact on my life that's why I'm writing this review 4 years later after I left. My experience with the 4th floor staff and Genoa pharmacy has been top notch from my first day. Charissa, Steven, tom, absolutely exceptional at what they do. Gateway showed me the way to save my life! I'm going to talk about the app. I love it. I have had struggles with having a daily routine my whole life. This app is something I use daily. There have been days when I was struggling that I would just scroll through people's posts and comment on all of them. It would help me get out of my head . I absolutely loved going to the alumni event at Busch stadium. I love that I've got to reconnect with people that I've gone to inpatient with.

The program is challenging as it should be wild demanding you to be your absolute best. There are no shortcuts and there are no excuses. Howeve, all of this is complimented with a level of care and consideration by staff who understand the human dilemma as they offer their expertise in wisdom to guide you through it. This is Concordance in essence as it is a place that restores value to the human spirit, the individual an ultimately the community at large. Absolutely life saving . This is an amazing program ,with amazing people helping rebuild lives from the ground up . I was homeless while pregnant and addicted to shooting drugs . At 5 months pregnant my heart failed and I was rushed to st. Louis, Missouri, all alone ,pregnant and about to die. Due to my condition that I had created via my addiction . I underwent Open heart surgery .I survived 2 months later in the hospital, no one was waiting for me after my discharge from hospital. I was homeless in a city unknown to me and due to have a baby in a few months .Queen of Peace took me in, and was waiting for me when I got there even paid for me an Uber from hospital to cathedral towers. I have God to thank for giving me Queen of Peace . Thank you .

I love this place, because it helps me love myself. get to know myself. it's really a growing spot people can really grow here( spiritually , mentally and physically) when you're on drugs you know you stuck! now you lie to yourself and you don't even know it. you know they help me recognize my lies in me. the way you think backwards sometimes you know; I used to think they were good and I like them in the matter is that are not good for me and they never had been. it' s taken relationship my friends my kids . They teach me how to gain my dignity back my respect for me and others. how I can be balanced I'm learning not to drink from my lower self but my higher self as like what would your God. It's about being a better person that I was contagious for and keep that going and growing.

This location has come along way compared to the way it was before. I’ve been coming here since 2022 and have had better progress and experience than I’ve had with any other facility in my part of Illinois/St. Louis. Although the psychiatric program is horrible and the therapy program would be excellent if you weren’t spending more time getting to know a new therapist every 6 months instead of working on your issues. (so when another job position opens up and pays more these therapist up and leave). For the most part I don’t have anything bad to say about this place my doctor is Kevin Garner and he’s the best primary care Provider that I’ve ever had. He cares and if he can help me with anything he does are points me into the direction I’m supposed to go. I recommend this place for anything from drug addiction to the flu are just getting your meds filled. Just go find a therapist or a psychiatrist somewhere else!!!

If you are homeless in st Louis, you need to get connected with these people. They are saving lives. Be patient, get a case manager and they will help you work the programs available. You'll need to be seen by an intake coordinator to get the process started. They are non-judgemental. Do not hesitate to make that first step in the right direction.

So glad this clinic moved here last year. It is less than a mile from my apartment. Steen group of employees, but efficient in their duties. If you make them laugh, they really loosen up. I used to be depressed and suicidal, but now I'm only a little depressed and not suicidal at all. Tysm ilysm. And I hope you still have that picture of you. I'm crying rn if you actually respond. 🥰🥰🥰 I really want to go back even though I'm all better. If you have any suicidal thoughts go see a counselor, or go to mercy/ hospital but only if you don't feel safe at home. Don't make suicide into a joke. It's a serious thing. I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible care I received from the ED and maternity staff. I didn’t catch the names of the two young ladies at the front, but they were so kind and went above and beyond to make sure I was directed to the right department. As a high-risk pregnant patient preparing for a trip, I came in seeking reassurance, even though it wasn’t an emergency and they truly advocated for me so I could be seen. That meant more than I can express. Once I was in the maternity ward, I was cared for by Maddy, who was absolutely wonderful. She listened attentively to my concerns, made sure I was comfortable, and treated me with such compassion, it really made me feel like what I was experiencing mattered. Medical student Advika was also very sweet. Even though she was observing, she brought warmth to the room and made the experience more personal, we even shared some laughs, which helped ease my nerves. Then Nurse Practitioner Dr. Alex came in and truly exceeded all expectations. She conducted my exam thoroughly, addressed every concern I had, and completely put my mind at ease. On top of that, she took the time to call me the next day to follow up and wish me a safe trip. That level of care and follow-through is rare and deeply appreciated. This was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a hospital. Because of these amazing women, I’m heading into my trip feeling confident, reassured, and at peace. Thank you all for the exceptional care, you made a lasting impact! I know sometimes DePaul Hospital gets a bad reputation, but there are still some positives at this center.

I'm not very computer savvy so I don't write many reviews, but I have to take a minute to tell you about Kenzie and Heather. I've had quite a few social workers and I never had a peer counselor, but they are top notch and people that need to help others in the social worker and peer counseling field. I was always reluctant to have a social worker because I never had help, but since these two I now have hope for the future. They both are excellent and caring workers that want to make a difference in their patients lives. They made me feel safe and that they wanted me know that I could have faith in living each day with meaning in my life. I just wanted to thank both of them for their outstanding and excellent care. I want to also thank you both for letting me talk about anything I wanted to with you guys. I'll never forget you guys. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love you two ❤️❤️❤️

SSM Rehabilitation Hospital has to be the BEST CHOICE for PT and OT in the St. Louis area. I cannot imagine any other facility would be as thorough, caring, and determined to get me back to 'normal' after my surgery and hospital stay. I have to name the EXCELLENT staff by name as the TRUE heroes need to be recognized. First, the outstanding nursing staff; Winnie, Elham, Lem Lem, Krystal, and Shayla (Shay). They were very attentive and never ONCE made me feel that I was 'bothering' them even when I needed them at midnight or noon. The techs that went beyond the call of duty and must be named are Lyn - who was always friendly and smiling. This can make a person's day when spending multiple days in a facility. Also, Lea and An'drea were cheerful and attentive. These employees seem to truly LOVE what they do! Thanks to all them! Thanks to SSM Rehab Hospital for hiring people who really CARE about your patients! Physical Therapy Staff I need to recognize are Megan who was my primary therapist. She was so supportive, understanding, and encouraging. She knew exactly what I needed and 'PUSHED' me to go further and do more than I thought I could! Jeremy and Candace stand out as techs who were there when they were needed and went beyond the call of duty to serve their patients. I will never forget their kindness. The entire staff was so supportive! Amy, my case manager, was very helpful and set up everything for my return home. She was there to keep me informed. At the time of my illness, Amy was working alone as they were short handed in the Case Management department. She was managing everyone on the floor. I'm going to guess there were almost 50 people at that time on the floor. Her management and people skills shone through at a time when it had to be stressful!

I entered harris house on january first this year... i didnt know what to expect when i entered. had some anxiety. i was there for 3 weeks, everyone was so compationate about my recovery i was impressed by that. i really like the fact that most all the counselors were former addicts themselves, and they knew what we were going through. ginny was my counselor and i met with her once a week. i have had alot of grief in my family. i lost 3 brothers. one at 22, the other at 37, and my other brother at 63. here at harris house, they gave me some tools to deal with my loss..i started drinking at age 18, until i got married at 30. i was sober for 14 years while married to my wife. well after we divorced i began drinking pretty much every day...well long story short, i had had enough of the damn alcohol and decided to get help. i just am so glad for harris house and how you all helped me...so thanks to you and your staff, i can get my life together sober. thank you so much and please keep helping others.. oh and by the way, the food is great as well...thank you.. signed jeff vance
