This place saved my life. It taught me how to live, showed me my strengths and showed me what it was like to have true friendships with women. I know this place isn't for every women, but it definitely was for me. I would recommend it for those who need this kind of long term gender specific treatment. I wouldn't be who I am today without it. 🥰

I had a great experience and a not so great one but the not so great was only because I was in the wrong I was keeping secrets I lied to staff to protect another girl don't keep secrets do the right thing always and you'll succeed idk about the newer staff but the ones who have been there awhile and the ones who have moved on are all amazing women who would do anything for you if you just let them in. Love you all I wouldn't change a thing I've learned from you women thank you for being you. And the on behalf of my daughter who recently passed away she loved you guys and always talked about you

I had tried to get sober before and had just got out of prison. I promised myself I was going to stay clean and live a good life. Within 6 months of leaving prison the thoughts of using were strong. I started drinking and looking for ways to get drugs. I knew I needed help or I was going to go down the same path I promised never to go down again. When I called the Bridge there was not any beds available at the time, I told them my situation and told them I really needed to get help or I am not sure I would be brave enough to make this phone call again. They allowed me to sleep in a counseling room temporarily until a bed opened. It is not easy living with a bunch of women and being told what to do, but if you are looking for people who really care and what you to succeed then the Bridge is an excelent choice. For any body who gives the Bridge a bad review.....I am not sure what you did, but you were probably in the wrong trying to get away with something you shouldn't have been.

The emergency department was quick and efficient.

Zero stars if I could. I was there back in 2021 as a patient and I was put to sleep for 13 days. Stayed for 28 days and they just tried to entertain us with pamphlets about disorders but didn't teach us or have us learn anything. Sit watch a video that's it. They drug people up, they pin people down, they force you to take meds and not tell you what they are. I woke up after those 13 days and first thing I ate was apple pie because it was a holiday. I made it home before Christmas that year. The social worker was kind but offered no help at all. The staff was very rude, unhelpful and acted like they didn't believe a word I'd even say no matter what I said. That place is scary and needs to be shut down asap. Whoever you may send here please be aware and do not send anybody here no matter what. Larned does not help people. They will make the ones you love worse off. An adult abuse report was filed on my behalf but DCF said they had little to go on which was not true at all. It was all detailed and documented. I still have all the documentation. They should be sued for all the abuse they put on people. And when I got transferred out of Larned state hospital they lost my meds along the way and didn't have the person sign for mw which was protocol. They do not have rules here it's fair game to them.... I'm sorry for anybody that went here. By the way, the photo on Google is inaccurate. That's a picture of some place else Larned state hospital doesn't look like what's in the picture. Not even close!!! They are so decietful it's a crime!!!!

I was there for 60 days. Multiple fights, and the staff was doing drugs and talking about drinking in front of the patients. Always smelled of weed and looked high.

I think the service and staff is top notch. I have built a great relationship with my counselor and the staff, who has the experience and knowledge to assist me with the issues I need assistance with. My insurance has changed, they will work with you as long as you show you are making progress on your account. I was given the opportunity to switch to another provider due to insurance, but the trust and relationship is worth the price than starting with another provider. If you are honest with your self and open to the ideas and tools being offered, I am sure you will get the help and assistance you need with Compass.
