I am a current client Valley Hope Norton Kansas for alcoholism. unfortunately I have been through many other treatment centers. I highly recommend this to anybody out there struggling everybody here is amazing the nurses are awesome the lectures are awesome counselors are awesome the facility is awesome you get to smoke cigarettes whenever you want and you get to keep yourself on so you can stay in contact with your family. Barely a three star rating. That's just manhandling a good doctor. The collective consciousness that we are born with just don't want to change. The unconscious we are born and raised with just don't want to change as old habits are difficult to change. Koduri saved my life as well as his entire staff. Don't be haters, don't be stubborn. Great Plains is one of the best. So, they deserve five stars just wished it could go beyond five stars. Great Plains are doctors and these doctors really know their jobs, they know what they're doing. I have confidence and trust in Great Plains. They even saved my mom and dad. I think a different place, I wouldn't be here today. Keyword...they saved my life more than once. So, give them the benefit of a doubt and trust them. Don't let your guts or inner voice judge them. Just trust them.

Dr Koduri saved my life. I had attempted suicide and was in the ICU fighting for my life. My depression on top of stress was beyond profound. I questioned the medications but a month later, things mellowed out. The doctor relocated me and the problems I had in my town compared to the new town dwindled. Dr Koduri is VERY professional and he has a team of staff that can assist him and me as well. They saved my life. They said I might not make it. But, I pulled through and Koduri came to my rescue. I don't feel as depressed as I did previously. Again, they saved my life. Koduri is a good man, easy to talk to, easy to work with.

I would like to thank Darcy and Emily with the oncology department for their care and treatment of my mother, Josephine Wilson, during her battle with breast cancer. They both were so gentle and caring when they hooked mom's treatments up and made sure she was comfortable and warm. I have never met such sweet nurses in my life. I came across some of the most recent reviews today as I was looking up the website for contact information.I wanted to post a review that is five stars because that is exactly what Fort Lyon deserves, not because it has five star amenities or because it is perfect, but because without this place I would probably be dead. I was a resident for nine months in 2023. I was in a hopeless state of mind, body, and spirit. After losing my professional career and everything else, I found myself moving here. Fort Lyon is a place where you can live safely, and focus on true recovery and healing. If that is what you want. To be completely transparent, most negative comments are from people who are not ready for what it takes to turn your life around. It is not fun and you don't normally get your way, but I learned that is LIFE. I gained back ALL I had lost and so much more. Thanks to God ultimately, but also to this place and a program I work everyday. I am now over three years sober from all substances, and if you knew my entire story you would agree it is a miracle. I fostered for 18 years for Saint Francis Community Services. The workers were amazing and always available to help and support when us when we needed it. Our Homes worker was always honest about the behaviors of the children they asked us to take and was very encouraging. They offered many training courses to help us better parent throughout the years.
