What a great place and Chris was the best counselor I have ever seen for my son. The Chaplin Jamie needs to quit judging people by their looks or how they dress. Give some grace to these hurting people and quit judging . Be there to encourage and build someone up with Gods love . You are a poor example of a Chaplin. Please read the Bible and apply it from your heart . Other than him a wonderful place for recovery. May God bless all of you who helped my son Payton.

Wonderful place, a good place to donate gently used kids clothes. Staff is minimal so you see the same folks every visit. They help with clothes, school supplies, and even holidays. A good place and McCook is lucky to have it.

Went to ER and they were slammed. I mean slammed with people. The security guard went to another room to get several more chairs for people. It was late at night in the middle of the week. Did I have a long wait, ya but I wasn t dying just pulled a hamstring and needed to make sure I didn t break my leg at the same time. Other people who got there were not as fortunate. Staff still did their best and I did get to see a nurse in the triage multiple times and they worked to get my stuff done. Longest wait was for the final checkup from the doctor. They gave me a shot for pain quickly and got my X-ray taken care of. I was up and walking before I left so that was good.

My daughter had a day surgery and I was so impressed with the care that she received! From the minute we walked in the door we got VIP treatment. No detail was overlooked in her care. Just as impressive was their attention to my comfort while I waited. This is a first rate facility with top tier medical professionals. If you have a choice, choose Mary Lanning.

I feel like i should definitely write a post, I hope more alumni will do the same. For me the experience i had at the bridge was amazing. It's not easy living with that many women! However when it comes to the staff i believe they really do care about the people that come in. I read some of the other reviews and was shocked to see that they had that kind of experience. I don't know their situation so i won't comment on that. When I went to the bridge i was ready to change and although i might have had a few setbacks i really felt supported and cared about while i was there. It's not going to be easy it's a treatment facility there's going to be some bumps in the road.

I had tried to get sober before and had just got out of prison. I promised myself I was going to stay clean and live a good life. Within 6 months of leaving prison the thoughts of using were strong. I started drinking and looking for ways to get drugs. I knew I needed help or I was going to go down the same path I promised never to go down again. When I called the Bridge there was not any beds available at the time, I told them my situation and told them I really needed to get help or I am not sure I would be brave enough to make this phone call again. They allowed me to sleep in a counseling room temporarily until a bed opened. It is not easy living with a bunch of women and being told what to do, but if you are looking for people who really care and what you to succeed then the Bridge is an excelent choice. For any body who gives the Bridge a bad review.....I am not sure what you did, but you were probably in the wrong trying to get away with something you shouldn't have been.

This is a wonderful drug and alcohol treatment center for women and children. The bridge has been around for a long time in Hastings and has been located in several areas currently they are housed in a older building that I believe used to be a nursing home. It needs a lot of updates and TLC that because the bridge is funding doesn't allow it it stands as is. The bridge has been a great success rate and wonderful caring staff during and after care.

I became an established patient with HPMHC in 2019 after going through a mental health crisis. I have nothing but great things to say about them. The front desk employees and billing department were always so kind and helpful. Most importantly, I had an incredible therapist and Doctor. Tara, my therapist was always so empathetic and is such a wonderful listener. She always gave the best advice and always validated my concerns and feelings. Dr. Karen was an incredible Doctor. She listened to my concerns and was able to find the perfect plan for me and my mental health. She always made me feel safe to express any concerns and questions I had regarding my plan/treatment. She is incredibly kind. I will forever feel blessed to have had such a wonderful team that has helped me grow tremendously in so many ways, they are a big part of where I am at today. Couldn t recommend them enough!

I was fortunate enough to have Sid help me cope through a 6 year ongoing divorce where to maintain 50/50 shared custody I have had to disprove twisted truths and preponderance of evidence my former spouse was relentless at throwing at me for custody of our children over and over and over again. Because time with my children was at stake, this therapy I engaged in was much needed for the inflicted trauma that not only I was experiencing, but having to watch my children experience our on and off contact denial at no fault of our own. Sid was very empathetic and caring.

I delivered both my children here as well as using the facilities for surgeries, injuries, and illnesses for myself, family and friends. We have always received high quality care from the nurses, doctors, therapists, lab/radiology, ER, and clerical employees. This place saved my life. The counselors and staff are amazing especially Dr. Phill and Erika they are 2 of the biggest impacts on my life that I have while I was there. I went into treatment planning to use as soon as I got out and Erika was my counselor and she was able to help me open my eyes and see all the underlying problems and trauma that was causing me to use and feel the way I was, and Dr. Phill teaches in such an amazing manner that everything is absorbed and I stayed completely engaged the entire time. Everyone there is so caring and supportive of you and the residents end up becoming family or atleast the ones I was in there with did for me, we are all still in contact and help eachother stay accountable and help eachother through anything we are going through. So if ur contemplating treatment this place is the best place in Kansas to go oh and the foods good too I never ate a meal I didn't enjoy the entire time I was there.

What can I say about Valley Hope? I was a participant here on March 17, 2021, and I currently work here as a Kansas Centered Peer Mentor (KCPM) and a Person-Centered Case Manager (PCCM). When I came to Valley Hope, I was coming here to get my family off of my back and then go back out there and drink after I had an Intervention. Then, something happened while there; I found hope and serenity and learned to love myself again. After long sessions with my counselor, Ruth Jurgen-Owens, she basically told me to quit smoking and actually give this program a shot and see where you are at the end of the program; if nothing has changed, then I am already going to go out there and use it anyway. Well, after doing everything I asked and giving it 110%, everything started to change immediately, and I noticed a difference in my appearance and attitude. After I completed my treatment at Valley Hope, I did the IOP and the OP on Zoom, which gave me guidance for the real-world situations that I was getting myself into. This also held me accountable for my actions for a bit longer. Now, I am going to school to become a counselor for addiction and mental health to help the next suffering addict or alcoholic.Since I have been working here, I cannot tell you the love that everyone here has, from the Alumni Coordinator Kathryn Reichenberger to the clinical staff, nursing staff, business office, and kitchen staff. I must thank Kathryn Reichenberger for everything you do for our participants after they leave inpatient treatment; you are a genuine and sweet person. Working with you and becoming close friends with you has been an honor. Never change who you are or what you do; you touch everyone you come in contact with. My next person would be my partner in crime, Kassidy, as a case manager; you have helped me out so much by showing me around and teaching me how to do this job. Thank You, Denise, for always having my back and being someone I could vent to when dealing with situations, good or bad. Last but not least, I have to say, Ruth, you will always have a special place heart; you help made me into the person I was always supposed to be and then took a chance on me to come to work for you, and I have to say it been one crazy of a ride but I have loved every second of it and will never forget you and all you have done for me and my family; so thank you to all of Valley Hope and the staff that works there.I wholeheartedly recommend Valley Hope to anyone seeking a new lease on life. The genuine care and support from staff and participants make this place unique. It is a haven where one can find support, compassion, and unwavering encouragement on the journey to recovery and self-discovery.
