I just don't understand all of the negativity spewed at this clinic. Whether those apposed were drug seeking or doctor shopping. Let me tell you. Dr Sung spent an hour and a half with me. He said my case was complicated. Which it is. I was treated with complete professionalism and respect. I was heard and treated kindly by all of the staff team. I would recommend Richard Young out patient clinic to anyone who needed help. I was not over medicated. In fact I was taken off of things I should have never been prescribed in the first place.

This is only because I didn't get a diagnosis, which was the point. Otherwise, treated me well, when to groups( even though most were meaningless) look, if you need help and time..its good. Just do followup upon exit

This place saved my life. It taught me how to live, showed me my strengths and showed me what it was like to have true friendships with women. I know this place isn't for every women, but it definitely was for me. I would recommend it for those who need this kind of long term gender specific treatment. I wouldn't be who I am today without it. 🥰

I had a great experience and a not so great one but the not so great was only because I was in the wrong I was keeping secrets I lied to staff to protect another girl don't keep secrets do the right thing always and you'll succeed idk about the newer staff but the ones who have been there awhile and the ones who have moved on are all amazing women who would do anything for you if you just let them in. Love you all I wouldn't change a thing I've learned from you women thank you for being you. And the on behalf of my daughter who recently passed away she loved you guys and always talked about you

We were seen in the emergency room on March 24th for our 9 month old son. They ran all necessary test to help us figure out what was wrong with our son. They listened to us. We were admitted and our dr is dr Leonard and he is beyond amazing. The nursing staff on the 4th floor first and second shift are great. They answer the call light within a good reasonable time. I would recommend this hospital. Thank you so much fourth floor nursing team, ER staff and dietary.

"I cannot say enough good things about Amy Wetzel and my med staff nurse, Susan. Amy is a wonderful, kind, and caring professional who genuinely listens. From my very first appointment, I felt acknowledged and comfortable. I tend to ramble and jump from topic to topic, but Amy’s ability to keep up with me is astonishing! She is the first person in many years who has actually listened to how I feel and taken the time to truly get to know me. I never feel rushed or like I’m just a 'time slot' on her calendar. While I wish I had started seeing her back in 2021, I am so grateful to have her now; I wouldn't want to see anyone else. Susan has been my med staff nurse for five years, and she has been amazing since day one. She knows me so well and is incredibly patient and great at her job. I never have to worry about communication because both Amy and Susan respond to me in a very timely manner. With both of these women, I feel like a person, not just a patient. They clearly care about their work beyond it just being a 'job.' They both deserve more than five stars, and I hope High Plains realizes how lucky they are to have them on staff. Pine Lake Behavioral Health is a breath of *fresh* air. I came here at my lowest… after being passed around/neglected elsewhere… and from the day I came in, I knew they had my back. Pine Lake Behavioral Health is the best clinic I have ever been to. I've been to other clinics in the past and consulted with various psychiatrists, but none compare to the experience here. Jessica is the most outstanding psychiatrist I've ever had; she truly listens to your concerns and cares deeply about your wellbeing, offering the best care and treatment options available. I entirely recommend her!! The nurses at this facility are incredible as well! They create a comfortable atmosphere and treat you like family! My husband went through the independence center over 30 years ago. He did relapse after the first 3 months but he did not attend any aftercare or AA. Within a year he started going to AA and has been sober for almost 35 years. My son has also been through the independence center twice with varied success. He has had relapses but maintained sobriety for the majority of the time. He has used the tools he learned there to get sober again after relapsing without having to reenter treatment. The program will work for you if your honest with yourself and do the work. Good luck and god bless!

When you are ready, you are ready. I did three rehabs in the span of three summers and I’ve been sober a year and a half since going to the Independence Center. The ENTIRE staff wass genuinely interested in my recovery. Of course it’s up to me how honest I want to be with my counselor, Chaplin and myself (and God), but their unwavering encouragement doesn’t hurt and it didn’t. The facility is much better than others I’ve been to in Nebraska and they keep the distracting extracurricular horseplay to minimum. They have a great culture and alumni in the A.A. and Lincoln communities.

I have struggled with alcohol for years. At Valley Hope, I realized I was among patients with less than 60 days sobriety. They were just like me. It made me feel comfortable. Some of the staff are in recovery so they could also identify with my own problems. I was treated as an individual and as an adult; with compassion and respect. Some of the patients are in recovery for a second or third time. If they have been somewhere else, they rate the experience at Valley Hope as their best. The food and accommodations were fine. You will get out of it what you put into it. I learned everyone's name. I went to Chapel and AA/NA meetings and participated in voluntary group activities. "Give it all you've got!"

I was a patient at Valley Hope for the month of February 2026. Valley Hope is a very caring center. The counselors all have a strong background in addiction recovery. The staff, from the nurses to the kitchen to the facilities workers truly care about every patient. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing help recovering from alcohol or narcotics addiction.
