I just don't understand all of the negativity spewed at this clinic. Whether those apposed were drug seeking or doctor shopping. Let me tell you. Dr Sung spent an hour and a half with me. He said my case was complicated. Which it is. I was treated with complete professionalism and respect. I was heard and treated kindly by all of the staff team. I would recommend Richard Young out patient clinic to anyone who needed help. I was not over medicated. In fact I was taken off of things I should have never been prescribed in the first place.

This is only because I didn't get a diagnosis, which was the point. Otherwise, treated me well, when to groups( even though most were meaningless) look, if you need help and time..its good. Just do followup upon exit

I have struggled with alcohol for years. At Valley Hope, I realized I was among patients with less than 60 days sobriety. They were just like me. It made me feel comfortable. Some of the staff are in recovery so they could also identify with my own problems. I was treated as an individual and as an adult; with compassion and respect. Some of the patients are in recovery for a second or third time. If they have been somewhere else, they rate the experience at Valley Hope as their best. The food and accommodations were fine. You will get out of it what you put into it. I learned everyone's name. I went to Chapel and AA/NA meetings and participated in voluntary group activities. "Give it all you've got!"

I was a patient at Valley Hope for the month of February 2026. Valley Hope is a very caring center. The counselors all have a strong background in addiction recovery. The staff, from the nurses to the kitchen to the facilities workers truly care about every patient. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing help recovering from alcohol or narcotics addiction.

I would like to thank Darcy and Emily with the oncology department for their care and treatment of my mother, Josephine Wilson, during her battle with breast cancer. They both were so gentle and caring when they hooked mom's treatments up and made sure she was comfortable and warm. I have never met such sweet nurses in my life. Tall guy who's always representing the Detroit Lions, what a great dude. He gave me a referral 5-6 months ago to get therapy. Came back in today, he told me that I could either see BHS, or TLC for therapy. He truly couldn't have been nicer both of those times. This is the first dentist I've been to since I was 17. I was nervous as to be expected. Everyone was super nice. The dentist was amazing. He asked me what was the one thing I was worried about, I said pain. I never felt any pain. I had 2 teeth pulled yesterday (9/25/25). I still have not experienced any pain. I will recommend these dentists to everyone. Everyone there is so wonderfully amazing!!

This place saved my life. It taught me how to live, showed me my strengths and showed me what it was like to have true friendships with women. I know this place isn't for every women, but it definitely was for me. I would recommend it for those who need this kind of long term gender specific treatment. I had a great experience and a not so great one but the not so great was only because I was in the wrong I was keeping secrets I lied to staff to protect another girl don't keep secrets do the right thing always and you'll succeed idk about the newer staff but the ones who have been there awhile and the ones who have moved on are all amazing women who would do anything for you if you just let them in. I went there 8-18-2011. Saved my life. They showed me compassion when I had no compassion for anyone or anything. They gave me tough love. That's what I needed or I never would have gotten sober. In August I will have 12 years sober. They gave me hope. Thank you. Update 9-2-2024 13 years sober this year. Whoop whoop. Life is good. Thank you guys so much. 14 years today. Thank you folks for being their when I was at my lowest. Updated 8-19-2025. I entered on the 18th with a holier than thou attitude, and with an attitude like that I was doomed. I had to trust the Staff to take care of me because I was no longer capable of doing it alone, and come to find out I didn't have to live like that anymore if I didn;t want to and I didn't to do it alone.
