This is an updated review based on a recent emergency room visit. I arrived at the ER experiencing numbness, tingling, and muscle spasms in my arms, face, neck, and legs. These symptoms had begun more than 13 hours earlier but had progressively worsened throughout the day. Unfortunately, the attending physician concluded—before fully entering the room and without asking me any questions—that I was experiencing a panic attack and hyperventilation. This was not the case; the symptoms were later determined to be a severe adverse reaction to a medication I had recently started. While some anxiety would understandably have been a secondary response to the situation, it was not the cause of my symptoms. I am updating this review because the hospital's quality assurance team reached out to me afterward. They listened to my experience, offered a sincere apology, and waived the entire bill for the visit. I do not know whether the physician faced any disciplinary action, and that is not my primary concern. I appreciate that the hospital took responsibility and ensured I was not financially burdened for both this ER visit and the follow-up care I required from my primary physician (which involved a one-hour drive in my compromised condition).On a related note, I am relieved that my condition was not a heart attack or stroke, as the initial dismissal could have had far more serious consequences. In contrast to this visit, I have had two other emergency visits to this hospital that were positive experiences: one for a severe hand injury where I nearly lost a finger, and another for my son following a car accident. This most recent visit, however, was by far the worst I have encountered. That said, the fact that hospital leadership followed up, apologized, and addressed the issue meaningfully is noteworthy and not something I have experienced with most healthcare facilities. I hope this feedback contributes to improved care in the future.

Secretaries are rude in the family care clinic, there rude in person and rude on the phone!!!! If you don't like your job get a new one, it's not a hard concept

This organization is doing fantastic work with "challenged individuals". helping to get folks back on their feet, free from substances, domestic issues, and financial hardships. with the backing of several churches and organizations people are able to "rise above". I have supported them for years, gathering and providing donations.

These folks are providing a great service to their community. I fully support this ministry, and will make monthly trips with donations from my "community ".

I went there 8-18-2011. Saved my life. They showed me compassion when I had no compassion for anyone or anything. They gave me tough love. That's what I needed or I never would have gotten sober. In August I will have 12 years sober. They gave me hope. Thank you. Update 9-2-2024 13 years sober this year. Whoop whoop. Life is good. Thank you guys so much. 14 years today. Thank you folks for being their when I was at my lowest. Updated 8-19-2025. I entered on the 18th with a holier than thou attitude, and with an attitude like that I was doomed. I had to trust the Staff to take care of me because I was no longer capable of doing it alone, and come to find out I didn't have to live like that anymore if I didn;t want to and I didn't to do it alone. Thank you.

great help for people with mental illnesses. training, housing,therapy ,life skills. brent and marcia are the best. at first I was ashamed to go. I didn't want to face that I could have a mental illness. But once I arrived I was welcomed and I knew I was home. 15 years later, I am still volunteering as much as they will let me. This is the best place on earth. trust me, you will fit right in.

Stay consistent with your times please. I don’t wanna wait two weeks just to see my second appointment even though they promised that I would see them in the middle of this week.

Good place for people who are struggling with trauma and substance abuse. Wouldnt recommend long-term though.

This organization does wonderful things in peoples lives!! They help the homeless, addicts, alcoholics, and downtrodden recharge their lives. They support, counsel, evangelize and assist in re-establishing into the community. Many great testimonies of lives renewed by the residents who have been here. I brought them a load of food products to help with the daily meals.

Hands down thís man is the greatest doctor in the world for primary care. He split's his time between patient care and working at the hospital as a patient advocate. He's done more for my family than most of our own family.

Dr. Dyksterhouse is an amazing doctor. My family and I care for my Grandmother that has Alzheimer's. Dr. D is her primary care physician. His lighthearted wit and excellent bedside manor always put my Grandmother at ease. He is patient and we never feel rushed when we have office visits. He responds quickly to our messages and is never bothered by any amount questions or concerns that we may have. Dr. D has been an invaluable resource when it comes to connecting us with people to help us manage situations we are unable to manage alone. Dr. D is hands down the best doctor I have ever had interaction with. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a primary care physician in Belmont.
