I live in New York but heard about Rolling Hills Recovery Center in Chester, NJ through a close friend who completed treatment there. Their recovery process was structured, evidence-based, and genuinely supportive. The staff focused on real clinical progress rather than quick fixes.

Coming from MA, I didn’t know much about Rolling Hills, but I’m really glad I found it. Mike Levy was one of the first people I spoke to, and his honesty and follow-through stood out right away no pressure, just real support. The environment here is grounded and focused on actual recovery, not just going through the motions.

I was able to get help not far from NY in Chester. The programs felt structured and supportive, therapy, education, and community that cares.

Had a wonderful experience. Every one of the staff members contributed to me getting better. RCA turned my life around.

I have been receiving medical treatment at Lyons and East Orange for over 12 years.. and have interacted with many medical professionals and staff.. in any large hospital setting, you will encounter dedicated people and sometimes, some that are just not smart enough to gargle. I recently had shoulder surgery and I rate it 5 stars 110%. Drs, nurses, staff were outstanding and the scheduling was perfect. God Bless all those who take care of us veterans at both hospitals.

Sean is an amazing clinician who recently worked with our family member. The therapy that's offered is a fantastic mix of work, he staff is the most caring group of people I've ever met, and the strong communication and flow of the treatment center as a whole is quite uplifting.

I personally think Footprints is the best Addition Program I ever experienced. I recommend this to anyone with problems.

What an amazing place. I had already gone through a rehabilitation center in Texas and was blessed to have the opportunity to expand my time by challenging myself for more of a chance after the program. When I was sent to this place of course I was nervous but I shouldn’t have been. The whole staff was absolutely lol phenomenal. They were supportive in every corner that was needed. Whether I was having a rough day to when I really needed to work out my trauma. I love Absolute Awakenings. They are doing amazing things and I highly recommend that if your in a position to pick a place to go or it’s the next step in your recovery, it would be almost foolish to pick a different place. Absolute is doing more than changing lives. They’re setting an example for what life can be after your transition to the real world after recovery to make last for a lifetime.

If it wasn’t for Jesus Christ I would not be sober today. He receives all the credit for my rest, peace, restoration, rehabilitation, recovery and sobriety. I credit MM with convincing me to enter recovery. When I second guessed attending MM, from director down to intake coordinators they shared the benefits and advantages of the programs. I especially thank Irma for her encouraging personality and experience in the real world. The intake staff played a big role in getting me out of Michigan; where I felt unsafe and incapable of defeating the disease of alcohol and addiction. They called me 2-4 times a day, 7 days a week, for 1 month. They didn’t know me, but it felt as if they did. I finally had a friend or somewhat like a loved one that actually care about me living. Two therapist stood out to me; Meagan and Jesse! They were amazing. They obviously put not only their minds to their clinical groups, but they pour their energy and hearts into their therapy. I truly wish that one of them was my personal therapist while I was in the program. Jesse mastered bring clients/patients together. Meagan was unbelievable, her therapy and meditation tactics enhanced my relationship with Christ. It allowed me to focus in on my praying, conversational skills, praise and listening skills with Christ personally. In 2022, my father died and under the influence of my disease, I decided to not complete my MA in CMHC although I was only four classes away. Meagan’s expertise and compassion has changed my mind. I’m going to finish my Masters!!!! She was amazing! I also enjoyed specific staff members whom compassion and care was beyond genuine. Those staff members were two different Dans, Olivia, Victoria, Bill, Nick and Maryam. The highlight of my experience at MM were MY PEOPLE! Those who were just like me. Race didn’t matter, gender was no factor, and we all were blinded to anyone’s lifestyle preferences. We loved each other, taught each other, hugged each other, shared together, and encouraged one another. We all shared the same desire to be free. Not just free of addiction, but free in life alone. I encouraged everyone in my path to hate! Yes, I said it, “Hate”! I encouraged to hate drugs and alcohol. And I also loudly and proudly shared the name of my Higher Power. I will once again, if your searching for a Higher Power, I like to recommend mine. His name is Jesus! He has freed me in life. If you are ready for a new journey of sobriety, I strongly recommend MM of Randolph, NJ. This facility may require you to detox first, and two hours away I had an even greater experience at Enlightened Recovery located in Atlantic City, NJ.

I had a great experience here, awesome team of counselors here that really care about us so different from other places I have been.

My time at soba was life changing. Soba helped me get over the hurdles that I struggled with for so long. They worked with me every step of the way and I have never been so grateful in my life for the people there. The entire team were amazing- they genuinely care about every individual there. I want to say a HUGE thank you to Mike, Trevor, Isaiah, Rich, Freddy, Hov, Dezi, Scott, Catina, and the entire team. They truly made a huge difference in my life. The groups and one on ones were so helpful and they kept everyone engaged. Thank you so so much soba!

Can’t say enough in regard to the experience starting my recovery journey at Soba. The staff & clients were very all welcoming and supportive. The techs, counselors, nurses, cooks & admin staff were truly top-notch and many can relate to struggles clients are facing. The true cohesion and synergy amongst the client group was a major bonus! Groups ranging from music, Zen Buddhism, book study’s, etc. were all impactful. Ability to attend outside meetings and fitness club were awesome! Thanks SOBA 👍🏼

I was real nervous to come here at first, but the staff made it real comfortable for me real fast! Clara is a godsend and such a beautiful soul kept checking in on me every time she came in for her shift kept telling me “you can do this, one day at a time” Jen and Glen the nurses were amazing, also all the techs were real cool def made you feel good, if you need any help def check out sunrise in stirling! I entered with ankle sprain but the medical staff at Morristown Medical Center treated me like a champion until I departed. The nurses at Morristown Medical Center provided me with exceptional care while making me smile even when I was in pain. Their team delivered outstanding care to me.

Doctor, Annie, Rodriguez resident, and Dr Mark McQueeney ER Are two of the best doctors I’ve ever had to take care of me, they went above and beyond the call of duty to find out what’s going on with me even with the extreme heavy load that they had. Dr. McQueen he left his ER post for a quick five minutes to come and examine me as he Had the knowledge to do and special eye exam due to the pressure that I had behind my eye. Dr. Rodriguez physically went down to the emergency room to find a Doctor Who had the experience to do this test and Dr. McQueeney was the one she found, and both were more than willing to do whatever they had to do to find out what was going on with me and how they Could help me…… thank you, Dr. McQueeney and thank you Dr. Rodriguez for all the caring and above and beyond medical treatment that I received!! I have had several procedures at MMC. My doctors were all fantastic, and on the whole, so was my nursing. Even the food is good! Always try to get to MMC for world-class medical care.

Let me start by saying I did NOT believe in group type therapy. That all changed when I walked through the doors of this facility. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and truly care about every single patient. I was a mess walking in and was discharged with the tools needed to become a much better me. Trust the process! By far the best place around. If your serious about your recovery, this is the place. It’s not just all about the medication, it’s about the staff as well. My counselor, Sharece T saved my life. She goes above and beyond the call of duty and treats people as an individual, not a group, because we’re all different. She really took the time to get to know me and get to the root of the problem and checks up regularly to see if everything’s going well. I’ve been to many places, doctors, meetings and rehabs. No one has ever understood me better, witch is very important in recovery so you can be treated accordingly. I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’m extremely grateful and blessed for my counselor Sharece. A huge thanks to this organization and most importantly, my counselor.

2025: Went here for a second opinion from Dr. John Halperin -- Neuroscience. He reviewed the previous results and performed some additional testing. Thus far we are impressed with his opinion. Will update after the test results are in and he renders his final opinion.

I can just speak to the job of emergency services. The entire medcal staff was top notch- kind, understanding and professional. I cannot say enough positive about the security staff! They helped us maneuver in and out of the building and were the nicest most helpful in every aspect! Ten stars for them if I could! Overall a most positive experience during a difficult time.

I don't understand the negative reviews for this place. We found getting registered and placed with someone easy and accommodating. Kelly is AMAZING! I have not had positive experiences in the past with therapists, but she is the absolute best. She's "real," she listens, she is amazing at planning a session but also pivoting if necessary. I can't say enough good things about her!

SHOUT OUT to the staff here..I have been to many many rehabs, and there is something different about these people, and this place..they are in my opinion, Earth Angels. No judgement, they really just want to help and are good humans! Also, the way they go about treatment, I felt really cared about , from the 1st day. I need a higher level of treatment but I will be going to Outpatient there after.. I can't recommend this place enough. They have no hard chairs that your ass goes numb from sitting in for hours, they have leather, lazy boy chairs, in the entire place, they have a quite room where you can rest if you are detoxing or dont feel good, they feed you great food, they have snacks and sodas and I was literally told "think of this place as your home away from home" and from the clinical staff, the nursing staff, the Dr., they're all special people. xoxoxoxo
