I haven't even been there yet but I've had at least 10 phone calls and everybody that I've spoken to is beyond helpful beyond nice absolutely amazing. I wish I would have found these people a long time ago. But regardless I'm happy that I came across this facility when I did.

Center for Discovery Bridgewater, located in Bridgewater, New Jersey is a private alcohol and drug rehab that offers treatment for a variety of substance abuse addictions including co-occurring mental health disorders. At Center for Discovery Bridgewater additional levels of care offered include partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient.
Center for Discovery in Bridgewater is truly one of a kind. From day one, I felt supported by a team that genuinely cares about every single patient’s recovery. Sofia, the program director, has created an environment that is incredibly recovery-focused, not just for one group, but for both adolescents and adults — which is no small feat. The space she and her team have cultivated is compassionate, empowering, and deeply intentional. The staff here are some of the most empathetic, knowledgeable, and compassionate people I’ve ever met. They understand the complexities of recovery and know exactly when to gently push you, when to support you, and how to navigate even the toughest moments. Mealtimes, which can be overwhelming, were made lighter and more approachable because the staff took the time to connect with us — asking questions, starting conversations, and making sure we never felt alone. They always met us with presence and care, whether they were redirecting behaviors, running engaging and educational groups, or just being there when we needed someone. One of the most powerful parts of my experience was realizing that every staff member — even those not directly on my treatment team — were invested in my recovery. That meant the world to me. I was lucky to have Annie and Lesley (and Sofia toward the end of my time), and they helped me realize that I am worthy of recovery. That I deserve to take up space. That my voice matters. Their belief in me came before I could believe in myself, and that made all the difference. They celebrate your wins, but more importantly, they stand by you in your struggles. They make you feel safe, seen, and cared for, while still challenging you to grow and take steps forward. They’re with you every step of the way, and they do everything they can to help you build a strong foundation for life after treatment. If you’re even thinking about getting help — if you’re questioning whether you’re “sick enough” — please consider reaching out to CFD Bridgewater. This place helped me change my life. And it can help you too

Center For Diacovery is amazing. They are kind, caring and extremely knowledgeable. They are sensitive to everyone’s needs not only the patient. They taught us all so much. We are grateful and thankful for the entire staff. We especially enjoyed Family Nights where we would attend workshops with our daughter and other families in the same boat. We ended the night having a huge family dinner. CFD is family!

There are not enough good words to say about the staff and this program! Sofia (program director) has worked really hard to cultivate a healing and recovery focused space for both adults and adolescents (which is not an easy feat!). All of the staff are extremely empathetic, compassionate, and knowledgeable. They navigate the difficulties of recovery in the best way possible from providing support during meals/snacks to redirecting behaviors to leading educational therapeutic and dietary groups. All of the therapists and dietitians deeply care for the patients and work hard on cultivating a good therapeutic relationship so that the patient can achieve their goals. I am so lucky to have found CFD Bridgewater. The staff believed in me before I could believe in myself. They saw that I was worthy of recovery long before I could and worked tirelessly to help me see it. I can genuinely say that I would not be here today if it was not for my incredible treatment (Lesley and Kiersten) and the entire staff at this location. Even though Kayla and Sofia were never my therapists they were invested just as much in my recovery. Annie, although not my dietitian, still supported me and celebrated my wins alongside my therapist. They also strongly encourage involvement of your family/support system by having a family night and family session. They recognize that not everyone might have a supportive family but everyone does have a support system and want to work together with your support system to set you up for success post discharge. If you are even contemplating about seeking treatment, if you have even the slightest question of if you're sick enough or if you have an eating disorder, I highly recommend CFD Bridgewater to help you on this journey. It will be the hardest thing you will do, but will end up being the most rewarding.

I went to RCA three years ago, and I can honestly say they saved my life. When I arrived, I was completely consumed by my addictions and had no idea how to climb out. This place gave me the tools, structure, and support I needed to rebuild myself from the inside out. The staff truly cares. They don’t just treat you, they teach you. I learned coping skills, accountability, and how to face life without numbing everything. They helped me understand my patterns, break them, and replace them with healthier habits. Even now, years later, I still use what I learned there. I walked in broken and walked out with hope, clarity, and a future. If you’re struggling and you’re ready for real change, this is the place that can give you your life back. I’m forever grateful.

What a horrible experience. They are so understaffed. Residents spend their days watching TV and doing absolutely nothing. There are a total of 2 therapy sessions per day, which means aside from sleeping and eating, you or your insurance company are paying for NOTHING. Stay far away from Monte Nido. There are better residential treatment centers available in the US!

New Pathway Counseling treats adolescents and adults who are struggling to beat addiction from drugs or alcohol. They’re located in Pinebrook, New Jersey. I did some digging on their site and discovered that their levels of care are limited to intensive outpatient and standard outpatient care. This is okay for those with milder forms of addiction
New Pathway has been the best experience in my recovery. The way the program is run is different than any other iop. The counselors train you physically, mentally, and emotionally. With the soarfit workout, the yoga/meditation and groups, I always feel great when I leave. And when you graduate, alumni can come back and continue with the workouts! It's a wonderful group to belong to.

I can’t say enough good things about this facility/program. I did my IOP here and from day one, I felt supported, understood, and genuinely cared for. Courtney and Mika are incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate—they don’t just go through the motions; they truly invest in your growth and wellbeing. The groups were meaningful, engaging, and actually useful in real life, not just “textbook recovery.” I learned tools that helped me rebuild structure, confidence, and balance in my life. The environment felt safe, nonjudgmental, and motivating, and I always walked out feeling better than when I walked in... they even have recliner "lay down and share" chairs oh and the Coffee is top notch This facility played a huge role in my progress, and I’m grateful for every counselor, staff member, and peer who helped me along the way. I can honestly and sincerely say that the intensive outpatient program at High Focus legitimately changed my life. The science-backed, evidence-based multi-faceted program has provided me with the tools & strategies I need in my day to day life to handle intense emotions as well as process trauma in healthy and adaptive ways through anger management, emotional regulation, DBT, CBT, grounding & mindfulness techniques. Almost every day I find myself utilizing at least one of the techniques that I was taught at High Focus, whether that is Opposite Action, distress tolerance, STOP, boxed breathing, TIPP, HALT, cope ahead statements, etc. etc. I have truly grown, changed, improved and bettered myself as a person. The anger, outbursts, explosions, toxicity and inability to properly regulate my emotions have been replaced by properly applying the core principles if what I learned in IOP. Its not about never making mistakes. Its not about there never being steps backwards. Its about learning from the mistakes, not making the same ones and always talking the steps forward. I am able to do that now thanks to everything I learned at High Focus and I want to sincerely thank all of the staff there for helping me to do that. For anyone reading this, please know that it is 1000% possible for you to change your life TODAY. YOU have that power and YOU have that capability. Do not listen to what anyone else has to say -- YOU have the ability to CHANGE as a person. You just have to apply yourself. It's that simple and it's that hard. If you're considering High Focus, I highly encourage you to make that change today. It honestly changed my life.

High Focus saved my life. When I first walked in, I was struggling with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, guilt, shame, relationship issues, unhealthy coping strategies, trauma, battling with thoughts of giving up and abandonment – honestly, the list goes on. I felt completely lost and was stuck living in survival mode. But with the help of the caring and supportive staff, I was able to uncover strengths I didn’t even know I had, and rediscover the confident, beautiful person beneath all the pain. If you’re feeling lost or unsure where to turn, walking through those doors could change your life. The program works, but you get out of it what you’re willing to put in. Let it work for you. I miss all the staff and amazing friends I’ve met during my journey.

Was here many years ago this place was amazing compared to other mommy and me places. Yes some staff not so good but overall this place looking back was the safest I ever felt. The facility more home like than other facilities. At the end of the day wherever you go you take yourself with you. It's up to you what you do with the assistance and help you are provided with. Some woman are not fortunate enough to get into a place like this.

But today for example things didn't go right but I still paeticipates in what I was able to. And they arranged things for me that got me the help and attendance I needed. I advice this place for iop or op ( that is what ive had experience with) and I wouldn't suggest anywhere else and ive been everywhere.

If you are searching for this, you have nothing left to lose and everything to gain. You don't have to wake up in w/d ever again. The people who work here save lives by the hour. Everyone is kind, understanding, and there are no judgements. People who attend are from ALL walks of life and all religions/salaries/housing & family situations. If you work with them & do your best, there should be no problem. I see a 1 star review on here…. Everything they complained about is common knowledge. Follow the rules, listen to your counselor and save your own LIFE! Stop waking up sick every day, it's SO unnecessary.

I attended the DBT track at Princeton House to work through depression, anxiety, and agoraphobia. The program gave me real tools to regulate my emotions and the language to understand what I was going through. My therapist, Danielle, was incredible — compassionate, attentive, and honest in a way that helped me feel truly seen and supported. The group therapy format was also essential to my healing. The other clients made me feel safe and accepted, which created a space where I could open up without fear of judgment. The environment was respectful, and the women who run the program are strong, grounded, and deeply caring. I also want to highlight the art therapist, Jenna. Every time I was placed in the art room, it felt like a moment of peace. She truly knows what she’s doing, and when other groups felt overwhelming, her sessions helped regulate my nervous system in a calming, supportive way. I definitely recommend this program. My only critique is that it can be a bit disorganized with planners and materials. And a tip for future clients: it’s easy to care deeply for others in group, but don’t forget to put your healing first. You can’t support others if you’re still trying to stay afloat yourself. Great program, life-changing support, and an incredible community.

I had a good experience at the New Brunswick location. The staff was extremely helpful. Heather, Meghan, Kami, Jenna, Ciani and Brian were all great. I still have a ways to go in my recovery, but I am doing much better than when I went in. The group therapy is very helpful.

Been there twice and gonna go again (one on the teen site and the womens dbt program). I had some issues with one particular therapist (for like group lessons in the womens dbt), but not everyone is gonna be great. I learned a lot about myself (i found out I’m autistic, have adhd, and ocd) and am more equipped to understand and navigate through my emotions, thoughts, uncomfortable situations, etc… Even though doing group can feel like a hassle, I recommend it here.

I've been going to New bridge services about 5 years now my daughter goes some time for your family meetings they were very helpful oh they really like to listen to I'm not pushy or anything like that I like to place a lot I go to there for therapy sessions and they go there to see the psychiatrist so that works out well and if you wanted to they have a pharmacy right there so it's like One-Stop shopping which is pretty cool but in all all the people are nice there that I found even have switched in a therapist if you time to switch psychiatrist you know I've been going there a long time but even with the new new therapist in The noose a psychiatrist you know you have to work into it and you know that takes a little time but they seem to have a way of making it you know so you don't feel all that like you know that anxiety you know that the world is ending you know so that's a good thing and I think most of you know what I'm talkin about so all right place is great and can't say much more about it

This program was tough and just what I needed to do what I had to do to get right and learn how to be a woman of substance. I initially did not want to go because of the 6 months. Honestly probably could have used more than six months. I surrendered allowed the help to help me and did what they suggested, even when I didn’t want to. I learned how to be productive and responsible and most importantly to be real about my feelings, that’s when the healing began. 1/30/2024 I celebrated 15 years clean . I have the Anderson House to thank for setting the foundation of my recovery process
