I literally love this place! I have received so much support from different counselors there. They really do care about us and what's going on. They work their hardest to make sure we feel safe enough to open up and really do some work. My name is Jessica and I will say Anthony(a counselor there) truly got through to me. I didn't finish the program but I will be celebrating 4 years clean soon thanks to the one thing he said to me 'when is enough, enough'

My daughter has recently been in different facilities. Because she lost two family members. Facing depressions and other kind of horrible stuff But this facility. Staff. Really had my daughter do a 360 turnaround. It's the best place that she was in. I can't thank them enough. They are very educated in what they do. And i'm very thankful for them to bring my daughter back to. How she was. Keep up the good work

This is an amazing place for anyone going through a difficult time. I have severe PTSD due to some traumas. I’m leaving feeling better, thank god. Every single staff member I’ve met was so caring, kind, and loving. They truly give their all and love what they do. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Hands down, pyramid and staff saved my life. From the minute I stepped into the building until my discharge there was nothing but compassion from all staff. Two staff members in particular need to be acknowledged for their excellent service to recovery. Short term counselor Lena met me exactly where I was at. She walked me through the process. There were definitely times I wanted to leave, because my disease was telling me to go use, but her voice came through sharing her experience, strength, and hope. I truly believe I am alive today because she was there in my darkest moments. When the initial storm started clearing and I made it to the long term unit I was met yet again by pure compassion. Christy took over where Lena left off. She was bombarded with her case load but still took the time to constantly make sure each and every client was aware that we could beat our addiction. Words can not describe the lengths both of these counselors were willing to go. Even the techs were wonderful. Kayla was willing to go above and beyond to assure all of the clients that we could make it if we were willing to put in the work.
Today I am doing the work. In my mind I would not be here today if not for these beautiful people.
I am 4 months sober today and one thing that all 3 of these ladies told me was in order to keep this gift of recovery I would need to get a network, make meetings, and get a sponsor. Today I am doing those exact things and it is working.
Recovery is an on going process. But the fact is it had to start somewhere. For me it started when I walked through the doors of Pyramid and was fortunate enough to meet compassionate people willing to help.
Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity. Today I choose to live. One day at a time I can do this.

I don't care what the general rules are....at the very least....you should be able to keep your phone and charger in this day and age. I have super close connections I can only reach online....including my male fiancé of ten years oversea in a war zone where he could die at any time. I refuse to give up my phone for even one day let alone a week or more.
That besides....I was not informed of this by my social worker. I was told the wrong location....and ended up nearly 30 miles from home. They transported me there (she was excellent and caring at least)....but they refused to bring me back when I changed my mind at the last minute given the conditions of treatment....so I had to pay nearly 50 dollars for a Lyft because I was too far away for any of my reliable, but disabled family to come get me and bring me home. I felt so afraid the entire day and now I know why. Then I looked over their policy that if I left early....they'd still hold my belongings for a day or two and I'd have to come back on my own to get them (my car is broken btw....and I'm disabled myself). Screw the detox treatment. I'd rather risk the seizure possibility. No place for treatment should ever make you feel like a prisoner. Best I can say is the staff were nice....and upfront. Would just have been a bit better had I have all the information ahead of time.
But I emphasize.....we are in a digital age. Many people cannot live without their phones. Feel free to screen communications, but don't take that link away from us....EVER. I prefer the hospital over ever considering a detox center ever again.

Listen, I am a total mess most of the time due to my catastrophizing things. I make everything start at worst case scenario hoping it doesn't stay there but unfortunately it sometimes does. Im not going to give you a play by play or some incredible testimony because my story is still going strong but I've come a very long way and I 💯 give my counselor, Susan, alot of credit for sticking by me even bk in the beginning when I would be nasty and childish towards her and ill never forget when she told me that she was just waiting for me to be ready. * full disclosure im a garbage head and at the time I needed rehab terribly. And she was so patient and calm n it drove me nuts. Until one day, I walked into her office and said im ready. And from that chair in her office I left for rehab right away thanks to a combined effort of the staff, Will a former employee but mainly through her approach over months. I've had several wonderful things happen since then but most importantly I finally won my 3 year battle with CPS and gained joint custody of my son back. Now, don't get it twisted, I am far from a shiney happy person now. I've got major struggles right now but ever since that day she can't get rid of me off her caseload. Mainly because secretly im her favorite.😄 but i won't let them switch me because Susan really does care about her clients and I am sure of it for many reasons. If Susan isn't you're counselor you're missing out. And because of her this center gets a 5 star 🌟 rating from me. Which, btw, NEVER happens.

I love Maryville! This is where I got clean from heroin. I was a user for 20 sum years and never thought I would be able to make it a day without it. All you need to want to do is try, go even if it's just for detox. You could always stay longer, just like I did. The counselors there are cool as hell. The nurses are great and they never let you feel uncomfortable. The food there is great as well. I highly recommend you going there. I'm 9months 7 days clean and I love it. All thanks to Maryville.

I was here and skeptical about Gaudenzia rules, etc. It was actually a great experience. Very strict, but the counselors are good, the meetings are good and the women are committed to recovery. They feed you too. If you are down and out and ready for recovery in a highly structured setting, I would call Washington House.

Thank you Bianca!l Bianca at Maryville Turnersville.. There is so many positive things to say about her as a counselor.. Caring and thoughtful is what first comes to mind. Very thoughtful and caring. Bianca engaged clients to open up and say what’s on their minds, even if they sometimes don’t open up, she seemed to be able to make everyone feel comfortable enough to open up and express how they’re feeling. It will show up in the pairing Bluetooth device list but when you try to ACTUALLY pair the device it will "attempt" to, only for it to say "cannot pair device" or "unable to pair device" but if your headphones came with an AUX cord to plug into and audio jack, I HIGHLY ADVISE YOU TAKE THAT B/ WITH YOU, also to those of you who have Air pods of any type I know you love 'em and you want to use them and etc, but I'm telling you now, just go get a cheap-o pair of wired earbuds get 2 if you have too because chances are they might out if you ask for a pair.
If they tell you over the phone that Bluetooth headphones work, I'm here to tell you NO THEY DON'T!

I was here and skeptical about Gaudenzia rules, etc. It was actually a great experience. Very strict, but the counselors are good, the meetings are good and the women are committed to recovery. They feed you too. If you are down and out and ready for recovery in a highly structured setting, I would call Washington House.

I've been with this company for five going on six years. They've been nothing but polite and super friendly. Their new office in Cinnaminson is really nice. The staff there are just as nice. So if you haven't come into the office I highly suggest you do it's so much better than the last one that burned down.

The receptionist Tomisha is very friendly , always smiling and very personable, she makes me and my children feel very comfortable when we go in the office. I have been hesitant to do counseling for a while but I am happy I finally decided to do it because my counselor Ms Wendy makes me feel so comfortable speaking about my feelings and past trauma. She is very professional and very understanding of my feelings. I would recommend anyone seeking counseling to go to this facility.

The receptionist Tomisha has the best customer service ever! Shes so warm and welcoming and makes the overall experience so much better. Its already hard to take initiative to seek help for you and your family's needs but having someone like Tomisha makes the process so smooth and natural. I love seeing her face as soon as I walk through the door! OH, and my girl Wendy is TOP TIER.

Although they may have a few downfalls; not everyone is perfect, Oaks is definitely the best choice for anyone with state medical insurance/Medicaid in need of mental health services in our area. They do have a somewhat long waiting list for most outpatient services but believe me you want to get on that list! I have been through the IOTSS program a few times now and it is by far the best intensive outpatient program! Most of the staff with the exception of maybe 1, is absolutely amazing. They really go out of the way to help in anyway that they can. This is also the only program I have been through that actually reached out to me multiple times when I messed up and stopped showing up for appointments. I am proud to say that I actually completed the program this time. My therapist Courtney was/ is a rock star! She really was the key to my success. Not only did she pay attention to what I said week to week but she was the first therapist I have ever had to actually stay with me through the entire program! My discharge from the program was just as amazing. The nursing staff made sure I would have enough medication until I see a new doctor and my therapist actually made phone calls on my behalf to get appointments with new outpatient services as well as putting me on the waiting list for oaks!
