Yes there are strict rules but the patients that go there must learn boundaries, what they can do and can't do. By doing good, you will learn to receive the Love of God and the Word.

I must start the review with giving honor to God, for God ordered my steps here to Good News Home for Woman, here I found a reconnect with God. In the program you find out a lot about yourself and the traumas that caused you to make some horrible choices. You also find out ways to deal with real life issues. The entire staff has helped me to save my life I will forever be grateful to all involved. I truly believe in the sister hood

Acenda IH is an incredible community focused program. They helped me naglvigate the challanges of single parenthood while being dissabled and homeless. Because of them I could have a safe place to stabilize my mental health whole gathering community resources and leaning into the knowledge of their professionals and advocates to help me get through the myriad of things that pop up when youre trying to settle down. I am so grateful these guys exist. And I am looking forward to using the skills I gained from working with them to continue making my life healthy and whole.

Rolling Hills Recovery Center truly changed my life. The staff is compassionate, supportive, and genuinely cares about every person who walks through their doors. I was treated with respect, kindness, and understanding from day one.

My grandfather is there at the long term care home facility nothing but great care and service there for him there so far he’s been there since September
Through my recovery journey I have been to a number of treatment programs and facilities both php/iop-residential and have done well at most of them, but Footprints stands out as one of my favorites, by far, and the one I have made the most growth and progress at. I came in with a positive mindset, open to any and everything they had to offer and was able to really take advantage of it all. One thing I am most grateful for is the environment and community that grew my positive energy. Everyone from my APN, Dee, my therapist, Michael who I have learned so much from. Jose, my case manager who has always went above and beyond to facilitate any other needs I had. And for Melvin who always was a leader and ready with a smile and positivity. I always felt comfortable and connected. It was always easy for everyone and myself yo be able to engage in group settings and that is a credit to the vibe and energy of each one of the therapists who ran each session. If this is your first time coming to treatment, Footprints gets an A++ from me. Its always tough to take that first step, but they do an amazing job of walking with you the rest of the way. I am thankful to the all the staff at Avenues for their patience and dedication in wanting to help save my life over these past six months. This program is in a league of its own..and I hope that anyone who looking for a new way of life has the gifted opportunity to walk through these doors, because this was a God given gift I was rewarded. It was difficult at times, as it was meant to be. I had made connections with people that I now know and love. That love me for me. I am in a program, working the steps, and am living a sober, stable life. I’m rebuilding the relationship with my family whom means so much to me. All of this is with help of this program. The staff on all levels, from BHT, Clinical, Nursing, and Administrative are warm, caring, knowledgeable, sympathetic to the individual needs of the clients, and all around exceptional! If you or anyone you know is struggling with a substance abuse or mental health issue, then Soba New Jersey is among the best! Highly recommended.
Of course every place has their flaws, however I've never met a staff that truly cared so much for the patients. This isn't a job to them its a way of life. From the techs, to clincial staff, therapist and the higher ups. Nothing during my time there fell on deaf ears. Id advise anyone coming to treatment there to swallow your pride and be open and listen. A brief background of myself, im very opinionated and strong willed so of course I knew everything or at least I thought I did. The staff here really did everything they could to reassure me over and over that I can get better. I just needed to get out of my own way. They were 100% correct. The techs always made me feel like this wasn't a house it was my home. People like Andy, Melanie, Leigh Ann, Amethyst, Jose, Stan and of course my OG Allison have always shown me that mine and my fellow housemates best interest was always top priority. Their stories and generosity is truly inspiring. I never felt judged or unwelcome They really care about each and everyone of us. They may be on the ground floor regarding job titles but they definitely are the foundation that keeps this facitly standing. The clinical staff such as Max, Morgan, Curtis, Michelle, MK, their doors are always open when needed. Whether they're running groups or plugging away in their offices they are always willing to stop and listen in the time of need. They too along with the techs are going to be your biggest cheerleaders towards a better life a sober life. While you will notice vast differences in some of their approaches PLEASE keep your ears open because they all reached me in different ways even though I didn't see the value they offered right away. Collectively, its a excellent group to learn from. While my time with Alex a therapist was limited it was very insightful and gave me a different way to see things that definitely resignated with me. As for my personal therapist Jackie, she was amazing. Her door was always open whether it was to pop in an say hi when I needed to vent or just shoot the breeze. Our sessions together allowed me to open up to a point I never had before. Even during her groups she may come off fun and playful, but there is a method to everything. Last but certainly not least, listen to your peers in those rooms. They come from all different backgrounds, gender, race age etc. They offer true wisdom and real life experiences. I personally never met a sober addict that didn't light up a room. These people will teach you more than you could imagine if youre willing to listen and do the work. Ill leave you with this, all of the above comes from someone who has been to 2 detox, 3 other rehabs, never lasting more than 6 total days. Banyan and their staff and clients made me feel at home while I battled through and not for a second did I ever feel alone while I was there. My goal now is to get my life back and whether it happens or not is upto me and me alone but Banyan gave me the tools I need to have a fighting chance, so thank you.

Cora is a great place for counseling but 6 months is ridiculous I think u guys should switch for long term because ur already use to that therapist and just do not want to leave him/her because u built a bond between them. Ms.Emma is so understanding and opened up to me I wish I can go longer with her but I can’t. Also the distance and time is good for me all these other places are not. But I will miss Ms.Emma so much I wish I can do longer or u guys just switch.

This childcare facility is suppose to specialize with kids that has special needs this is by far the worst facility I ever seen. My niece is autistic and attend this school and it was a nightmare for my sister. They were always complaining about my niece behavior and the only reason why she was acting out was because of mistreatment. They really do have favoritism seen it with my own eyes a firefighter child with special needs was being treated great. I go with a lot of body language so those who been in a similar situation you would know. The list is so long of the nonsense me and my sister had to go through. Either shut this place down or hire a new director. The director seems nice she is so ignorant and rude. And don’t say this is a fake review my niece attended here. The bad reviews of this place is true. PLS DO NOT ENROLL YOU LR CHILD IN THIS HELL WHOLE. Life with a special needs child is already difficult enough and Cora just make it even worse smh.
Sunrise cherry hill was a godsend. The nurse Sydney is absolutely the sweetest person you'll ever meet. I went there over a year ago and and she remembered me and made sure my stay there was comfortable. Unfortunately I've stayed at quite a few other facilities and NEVER was treated with such respect and kindness that she treated me with. She deserves a raise lol!
On the other hand..I made a very good friend in my time staying there..we kept in touch and we were both struggling. I was trying to be a good girlfriend and put my own health aside waiting waiting for him. I now know know that I need further assistance than just detox . He's not even. Being a decent human being/and/or being nice about it. I tried called the Sterling location 5 times where my friend is. She told me there is in IN FACT beds available but the person on the phone wasnt so friendly..almost demeaning. He said "just because there's beds available doesn't mean there's beds available". I was very confused...almost like he didn't want to help me save my life. And he was just annoyed to be answering the phone. He told me over and over in an annoyed and stern voice as I was in tears to call back at 9am. Im just lucky im not someone who is WAY more fragile and sensitive amd nothing terrible happened 🥺

Absolutely the best facility and most caring people I’ve ever come across. Shout out to everyone at the nurses station for holding it down for me when I was at my lowest. I am not a fan of any facility whatsoever but these guys genuinely do it right. Can’t thank y’all enough. Best nursing staff ever
The infusion department at RWJBarnabas Somerset are all exceptional people. They are professionals who are kind & understanding of patient needs. I have been there multiple times with a relative getting treatment & no matter the nurse or aide who helps out - each person gives their all to make the experience go smoothly & comfortably! Not always an easy task.

Have been admitted twice this fall and both times the staff were incredibly kind, helpful and had fantastic bedside manner. I just had surgery and my stitches look beautiful, and the nurses on the Surgical Ward were so compassionate! They always made sure to let me know what was going on and explained everything thoroughly to me, I recieved an excellent quality of care. Thank you to RN's Ashley G., Jess K., Becca S. and Surgeon Dr. Rayner!
The positive impact on my life and recovery has been a HUGE BLESSING on my life and recovery.I have been at the facility now 30 days, I talked to my counselor Jess about long term stay because I feel that is what I need, she was right on top of it and got me approved. SO GREATFUL!! Also have been in the re-entry program with Alaina, who runs the group. I had the most eye opening experience at an outside AA meeting. For the 1st time ever, I raised my hand and shared at the meeting!! I cant tell you how super greatful I am to her for giving me that opportunity. It helped me to realize it really isn't that scary at all, to share at a meeting even being the new guy there. So thank you all so much for ALL THE POSITIVE EXPERIENCES!!

Since coming to Pyramid Langhorne, and after 40 years of trying to get sober ; I've finally came to believe that I have totally surrendered and stopped fighting.
Each day keeps getting better and better. I know that it has to do with my willingness, but the main reason is because of the staff. Most times I am just blown away, in how they exude recovery, respect, and genuine concern about my life and happiness.
This place is so unique, and I wish that everything with an addiction could have this experience. 👍

I can’t say enough good things about this facility/program. I did my IOP here and from day one, I felt supported, understood, and genuinely cared for. Courtney and Mika are incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate—they don’t just go through the motions; they truly invest in your growth and wellbeing.
The groups were meaningful, engaging, and actually useful in real life, not just “textbook recovery.” I learned tools that helped me rebuild structure, confidence, and balance in my life. The environment felt safe, nonjudgmental, and motivating, and I always walked out feeling better than when I walked in... they even have recliner "lay down and share" chairs oh and the Coffee is top notch
This facility played a huge role in my progress, and I’m grateful for every counselor, staff member, and peer who helped me along the way. If you’re looking for an IOP that truly cares and makes a real impact, this is the place. Highly recommend.

I’m going to be real honest and truthful about my experience at the Center for Great Expectations I see all these comments on how the center is so great and they take care of you aye I mean y’all can have y’all opinions but let me tell you my experience this comment might get taken down but who cares imma put it right back on here I came to the center for great expectations with my newborn baby on October 19th, 2023 and left on October 19, 2024 so that makes it a year don’t get me wrong the program is amazing the younger women I met there aren’t just women to me they were my long lost sisters I’m not going to name any names for the sake of their privacy and there babies this is about me but you know I had problems of my own I have a weed habit you know I’m going to admit to it but when you been smoking for 2 years make it 3 now it will be hard trying to get someone to quit and in my situation I couldn’t I felt like it was the only way to cope with what I was dealing with so yes I would be paying off girls for a vape pen or weed pen here and there but I just got to sloppy with my stuff like to sloppy leaving it on the bed hiding it on my body or in my bag or dropping it on the floor in the van my restriction record in there is like real top of the charts it’s not something to be proud of but one day they just so happened to drug test me and my clinician decided to refer me to go to Roots 2 Recovery basically it’s sessions and drug testing but never in my life and I put my hand on my grandmother’s grave never in my life have I ever smoked in the same room as my baby I would go in the bathroom and put her in her crib with 2 toys and a laptop with Mickey Mouse club house or Coco melon also when I did have a weed pen it did not leave a big high it may pull hard but it just left a buzz and my eyes low with my time there I did manage to cut back what like 2 months. They were saying I wasn’t paying attention to my baby enough there were times my baby had fallen off of the bed and fell out of her stroller also the fact that I left her on a elevator by accident cause one of the staff wanted to call me last minute of me getting on the elevator due to all of that they had to call DCFS on me I had 2 court appearances also they referred me for treatment right around where I stay at and I have to get reminded every other day that I can get my babygirl ripped out of my arms and I can’t do anything about it also that a judge will be looking at my levels how in the world do you think I feel and I kept telling my CMO worker I wanted to leave asap but she kept persuading me. The whole point I’m getting at yes I had some good times but in some kind of way they ruined me if any young women reading this if you wanna go and give it a try I’m not stopping you just be careful and Thank you for listening

High Focus saved my life. When I first walked in, I was struggling with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, guilt, shame, relationship issues, unhealthy coping strategies, trauma, battling with thoughts of giving up and abandonment – honestly, the list goes on. I felt completely lost and was stuck living in survival mode. But with the help of the caring and supportive staff, I was able to uncover strengths I didn’t even know I had, and rediscover the confident, beautiful person beneath all the pain. If you’re feeling lost or unsure where to turn, walking through those doors could change your life. The program works, but you get out of it what you’re willing to put in. Let it work for you. I miss all the staff and amazing friends I’ve met during my journey.

SHOUT OUT to the staff here..I have been to many many rehabs, and there is something different about these people, and this place..they are in my opinion, Earth Angels. No judgement, they really just want to help and are good humans! Also, the way they go about treatment, I felt really cared about , from the 1st day. I need a higher level of treatment but I will be going to Outpatient there after..
I can't recommend this place enough. They have no hard chairs that your ass goes numb from sitting in for hours, they have leather, lazy boy chairs, in the entire place, they have a quite room where you can rest if you are detoxing or dont feel good, they feed you great food, they have snacks and sodas and I was literally told "think of this place as your home away from home" and from the clinical staff, the nursing staff, the Dr., they're all special people. xoxoxoxo

RecoveryCNT is a place of hope. The staff is incredibly compassionate and professional, and they truly understand what people struggling with addiction need. I’ve seen so many lives change for the better here.
Today I would like to spend a little time complementing your professionalism and your great care. I was discharged yesterday and fell well taken care of in tower 4 room 50. No problem was to big for your nurses and staff. The smile and honesty made me feel externally secure. The instruction were very thorough and understanding. The nursing director always avaliable to answer any questions. Keep up the great work. Thank Robert Wood Johnson hospital.

Was brought in via EMS, admitted for 2 nights and 3 days in the adolescent unit. The hospital staff are incredible, caring and always smiling at all hours. The night neuro team came in while I was having an episode, instead of just making sure I was medically stable they held my hand and reassured me that they were right next to me and I'd be ok- all at 3 in the morning! Shout out to Nurses Kim, Sam, Heather; all the rest of the nurses in Adolescents; Doctor Sarah Yavelberg and the Peds team; and Art Therapist Christiana and Child Life Specialist Jasdeep 🩷🩷! I definitely felt safe, taken care of, listened to, validated and understood during my hospitalization.
Additionally, the place is very clean, aesthetically appealing, and well-designed. There was a bed with a separate curtain, light and tv for parent to stay overnight. Meals can be ordered from an extensive menu and are delivered to rooms. They changed sheets as often as requested, even multiple times a day.
People ask why I insist on traveling the hour distance to New Brunswick for emergencies, and this is why! If there was an option to give more than five stars, RWJ New Brunswick would definitely get it!

I can honestly and sincerely say that the intensive outpatient program at High Focus legitimately changed my life.
The science-backed, evidence-based multi-faceted program has provided me with the tools & strategies I need in my day to day life to handle intense emotions as well as process trauma in healthy and adaptive ways through anger management, emotional regulation, DBT, CBT, grounding & mindfulness techniques.
Almost every day I find myself utilizing at least one of the techniques that I was taught at High Focus, whether that is Opposite Action, distress tolerance, STOP, boxed breathing, TIPP, HALT, cope ahead statements, etc. etc.
I have truly grown, changed, improved and bettered myself as a person. The anger, outbursts, explosions, toxicity and inability to properly regulate my emotions have been replaced by properly applying the core principles if what I learned in IOP.
Its not about never making mistakes. Its not about there never being steps backwards. Its about learning from the mistakes, not making the same ones and always talking the steps forward.
I am able to do that now thanks to everything I learned at High Focus and I want to sincerely thank all of the staff there for helping me to do that.
For anyone reading this, please know that it is 1000% possible for you to change your life TODAY. YOU have that power and YOU have that capability. Do not listen to what anyone else has to say -- YOU have the ability to CHANGE as a person. You just have to apply yourself. It's that simple and it's that hard.
If you're considering High Focus, I highly encourage you to make that change today. It honestly changed my life.

I went to this facility for a planned same-day surgery. The facility is very clean and modern appearing. The staff were all very kind and knowledgeable. I was rather anxious leading up to the procedure and the nurses were excellent with thoroughly explaining what to expect. This, coupled with excellent bedside manner helped to calm my nerves. This was my first time at this facility but based on my experience, I would highly recommend!

We unfortunately, had to take my daughter into the emergency room Saturday night to get stitches put in. She is only three years old.Leah and The team of nurses were excellent they took care of my daughter, and they supported me as a parent. The best decision was to take her there and I am so grateful my daughter is recovering amazingly. They did everything right. I am beyond grateful for them.

I went in for an outpatient procedure on 10/27 and the staff was very kind and accommodating. PreOP RN Tori C made that moment in time less intimidating and provides all the care and comfort I needed.
This is a Faith Based Facility that instills prayer and hope in one’s life! Tremendous comradery and support for each other. I highly recommend them!
