The nurses are professional, nice and comforting.The administrative team was very nice and sympathetic. Very patient, coached him through it and gave such a calm and positive feedback to help him through the test. That is the reason for 5 stars. Now the admitting area I give a zero. I am a huge advocate for patient privacy and this is an area of concern. In the waiting area an attendant comes out in front of everyone calls your name and asks what are you here for. For the whole waiting room to hear. Then the doors are wide open, I heard peoples social security numbers their diagnosis etc… horrific. Then when we were signing our papers no explanation of what we signed just sign again sign again and sign again …. I had a very positive experience for the 3 days we spent here. The Nurses both in the labor room and maternity services and the doctors at the hospital including Gynecologist, anesthesia and pediatricians were so amazing. Hospital had such as positive environment and everyone had great attitude. Nurses and Dr would come to ask us every hour for anything we might require. I would like to thank Dr Rakhee Patel and Nurse Teagan from Maternity department for being such a nice person and taking care of my wife and child. We delivered our baby on May 12, 2026. I thibk due to the telahealth aspect people are more willing to dig into there traumas and passed. I can only hope they 1 day accept medicaid again not only for me but all the other addicts and alcoholics who cant afford insurance to 1 day be able to receive treatment in the same manor I did. I didn't know what to expect I flew from Fayetteville , north carolina and was picked up from the airport by one of the exceptional techs KAMAR Someone I never met before, but you wouldn't know it from our conversation. I told him I was hungry because they wouldn't let the plane land right away he Informed me not to worry that they had food for me as soon as we get to the facility. After I ate, I went to get a quick check-up.And I was soon meet by another tech and was taken to detox on the 3rd floor , he showed me my room , rm 6 and then took me out for a fresh air break , and then it was time for bed. The next morning, I was moved to the 2nd floor for rehab where I met some of the other staff members Amira, Tom ,Lori, who became my case manager, Regina, Dawn and Heber, to name a few, these people made my stay really pleasant I could go to them for anythig and as for the exceptional tecs Al Danett Destiny CHARLIE and little bit. I can't remember her real name. But that's what I called her a special shout out to Akeem for getting me safely to my next destination. The nurse Sydney is absolutely the sweetest person you'll ever meet. I went there over a year ago and and she remembered me and made sure my stay there was comfortable. Unfortunately I've stayed at quite a few other facilities and NEVER was treated with such respect and kindness that she treated me with. She deserves a raise lol! On the other hand..I made a very good friend in my time staying there..we kept in touch and we were both struggling. I was trying to be a good girlfriend and put my own health aside waiting waiting for him. I now know know that I need further assistance than just detox . He's not even. Being a decent human being/and/or being nice about it. I tried called the Sterling location 5 times where my friend is. She told me there is in IN FACT beds available but the person on the phone wasnt so friendly..almost demeaning. He said "just because there's beds available doesn't mean there's beds available". I was very confused...almost like he didn't want to help me save my life. And he was just annoyed to be answering the phone. He told me over and over in an annoyed and stern voice as I was in tears to call back at 9am. I've been to three other treatment centers and none of them compare to NJRC. The group leaders, therapists, supervisors, case managers, clients, and everyone else are amazing. Jeremy and Rachel Kornmann are especially special to me. Jeremy is a supervisor (I think) and Rachel is my therapist. They contribute to making NJRC feel like a safe and comfortable space. Therapists' doors are always open when they aren't in session so that clients can talk to them whenever they need. I know every single therapist at NJRC personally and they are all exceptional. NJRC has helped keep me sober, which is the greatest gift. I thought for the longest time that nothing would help my addiction, but NJRC pulled through.
