Im reading all these reviews, it's sad because I was at this program in 2017, & 2020, I went to short term and long term and It was the only program I have attended in my life, that after I left I had the most sober time. It's a therapeutic community, it's meant to break you down to build you back up. That was the type of program I needed. I thought I knew everything.. I thought my entitlement and self will would continue to manipulate everyone I came across in my life... just so I can get one more. Integrity House helped me gain the trust of my family again.. be with my nieces and nephews.. and become humble, and willing to be open to change my life. It's not a resort, it's a behavioral program.. it's purpose is for you to be uncomfortable to become more comfortable with yourself again sober & live life without the use of alcohol & drugs. Idk about anyone else's journey but in mine, I lost everything, I was homeless, sleeping on benches, parking lots, cars, hotels, trap houses, not eating for days.. i was a full blown drug addict. Crack and Dope became a part of me. So anything I ate and received when I was in the program I was grateful for.. Idk if the program has changed since I have been there, and if it has that's a shame because it helped me change my life. The only thing I will say was my counselor was new, and in experienced at the time. and it is hard to get in touch with clients depending on who your counselor is. & Ms. Kristin if she is still there, wasn't a huge help to me. When, I had Ms. Kate she was tough and real & compassionate.... And told me about myself and that's exactly what I needed, because my attitude sucked... I unfortunately, had a relapse recently and currently almost done with treatment in another rehab, & im doing very well now.. thank God. & remember it's a state run facility.. & a therapeutic community. Their are other private insurances that provide other rehabs like Recovery Villiage, RCA, Pinelands, etc. If you are looking for structure but not a TC that may be a better fit for sum people. But if you are interested in Integrity House, I'd highly recommend it. But your gonna have to face alot of the stuff you used or drank over. If you aren't ready to humble yourself and deal with your pain or anger 💯 character defects, IH isn't the place for you. I owe them my life, even though I messed up recently, integrity helped me remain sober for close to 4 1/2 years

Serenity at Summit provided my son with exceptional care from the moment we made the first call. I was relieved that my insurance was accepted, but even more relieved when my son was assigned to his counselor, Sean. From the very beginning, I felt confident that my son was in the right place and working with the right person.
Sean kept me informed of every major development, whether positive or challenging. He communicated clearly, consistently, and with genuine concern for my son’s well being. When my son wanted to give up, which happened more than once, it was Sean’s dedication, patience, and steady guidance that kept him grounded. He supported my son through some very difficult moments and helped him stay committed to the program when he felt like walking away.
What impressed me most was that Sean never pushed my son to make decisions for anyone else not for me, not for him, not for the program. Instead, he helped my son understand that recovery only works when you choose it for yourself. That shift in mindset was transformative, and it happened because Sean knew how to reach him, speak to him, and guide him without judgment.
It is rare to find someone with this level of compassion and dedication for people they do not know personally. Sean’s own experience and journey make him a powerful example of what is possible. You cannot teach that kind of empathy. It comes from lived experience, resilience, and a genuine desire to help others out of the same darkness he fought his way through.
In my opinion, Sean is nothing short of a blessing for individuals and families facing the challenges of addiction. My son stayed, listened, and moved forward because of the support he received, and for that I am deeply grateful. Serenity at Summit is fortunate to have him, and so were we.

I was in serious trouble with alcohol and substance abuse not to long ago, so I finally decided to reach out for help and I have to say it has been the best thing that I ever did for myself thanks to NJRC. The entire staff is excellent from the front desk, the administrators to all of the Clinical therapists, Medical staff and Case Managers. If you are in trouble with alcohol, substance abuse and mental health, I would highly recommend NJRC to anyone looking for help.They will definitely give you the help that you need. My life has changed so much for the better with the help of everyone at NJRC. Did I mention the yoga classes, gym availability and the excellent lunches, compliments of NJRC. High Focus Centers deserves zero stars. The staff did not listen to the patient at all, no matter how many times concerns were brought up. It felt like they walked in with a pre-written script and forced a diagnosis that made no sense, completely ignoring what was actually happening.
The “assessment” was rushed, careless, and honestly insulting. They misdiagnosed the patient and acted like they knew everything, even though they clearly weren’t paying attention. Instead of helping, they caused more confusion, more stress, and more problems.
This place is the definition of unprofessional. If you’re looking for real mental health support, avoid High Focus Centers at all costs. They do not listen, they do not care, and they absolutely do not get it right.

While there are always flaws no matter where you go, it's not a one-size-fits-all. I have personally witnessed for four years many people succeed who are committed to changing their lives.
Truth is you have to not only want it but also be willing to work for it. There comes a point in an addict's life where they will do anything to change their circumstances and patterns of behavior that led to their current state, and those are the clients that succeed at Odyssey, or anywhere else.

I was recently at Chilton for minor surgery, I can not say enough good things about my care. From the friendly smile from the receptionist , the helpful volunteer in admissions to the surgical team. They were all friendly, and helpful. I felt I was in good hands, having my surgery there was the right decision.

This hospital's greatest strength is its comforting, chapel-like atmosphere. Beyond the medical team, the genuine consideration shown by the staff truly stands out. This high level of service made me feel more like a guest at a luxury hotel than a patient. The most memorable moment of kindness came from an employee taking out the trash, who greeted me with an incredibly warm and gentle smile.
However, I was disappointed to see people smoking in the outdoor areas, such as while waiting for valet or walking to the parking lot, with no one intervening.

Evas is a decent place that genuinely cares about there clients. I'd honestly say it's the best state funded halfway house in NJ. I've been here 6 months with no real complaints. The food could be a little better but at the end of the day it's a good place. Obviously this place is state funded and the majority of clients are on drug court or parole so there is no jacuzzi, pool and horses but like I said it’s not a bad place

I gained control of my addiction here. I adopted new ways to cope with stress, loss and depression. Learned how to utilize the tools of my environment. My experience was excellent. The staff were kind and respectful. I graduated and moved on with my life and never looked back; only to remember where I do not want to be. I was so lost and giving up on life and a few good suggestions brought me here. Everyone from the friar in charge of the inn to security and maintenance made me feel welcome. The counselors are the best I’ve ever dealt with. My counselor was amazing, the physco therapist helped me realize things on my own and a former resident who is now staff related to my issues making me comfortable with the process. That guy was a godsend. These people helped me with my addiction issues more in 6 months then I’ve been able to do over the last 30 years. I now have hope and a blueprint that I follow to live a life in recovery. I could never thank them enough

This place completely saved my life, it taught me a new way to live and that I am a man, worthy of love and respect. Since there, in 2017, I had one slip up about a year after I graduated, but that was almost 8 years ago now. Since then, I went to welding school, they set me up in a halfway house in NYC, moved back home to Rochester, NY. I am and will forever be so grateful to this place and its staff. I feel I’ve learned so much about myself and now have a good awareness of why I’ve felt the way I have my whole life, so irritable and disconnected from the world. Big thank you to all the staff, Tamara, Ms. Mayling, Bryant, Dwayne, Tim, Ms Keisha, Isabella, Patrick, The Dave’s, Ms.Q, Gus, Vince, Dawn, all have the interns, everybody there helped me more then they will ever know by teaching me how to get honest and open minded to a new way of life. Turning point as well as life in general is what you make of it, I’ve been fighting with drug addiction for 20yrs and could never understand why no matter how successful I would get on the outside I would always turn back to drugs in the end.
