I am writing this with immense gratitude to thank everyone at WELLBRIDGE for the incredible care and support I received during my stay. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and safe, knowing I was in the hands of people who truly care about their patients.
The facility itself was amazing, providing a comfortable and peaceful space for healing, but what made my experience truly exceptional was the staff. Every single person I encountered nurses, therapists, RSS staff , kitchen staff, played a role in my recovery their kindness, encouragement, and dedication.
I especially want to express my deepest appreciation for my therapist, Samantha. Samantha was not only an incredible professional but also a true guiding light in my recovery. Her compassion, insight, and unwavering support helped me in ways I can never fully put into words. Samantha challenged me when I needed it, listened without judgment, and provided me with the tools to rebuild my life. I truly believe I wouldn’t be where I am today without her guidance.
Thank you all for creating such a supportive, healing environment and for making a lasting impact on my journey. I will always be grateful for my time at WELLBRIDGE and for the incredible people who helped me find my way again.

Excellent rehab Hospital. I came here to rehab after my back surgery. Very professional! The PT and OT sessions really got me back on my feet. I had 3 hours a day while under the care of doctors and nurses. Everyone is very nice and cared about my welfare. I saw many hospital administrators who wanted to make sure I was happy with my rehab. Social worker was awesome. I even saw the VP of rehab medicine who I felt, was genuinely concerned for my comfort. I cannot say enough good things about this Rehab facility. The whole Catholic Health group is fabulous. The employees are to be happy working here. Even the food is great. I would definitely recommend this facility.

I really like this program and find it super helpful for my depression. The groups usually go by fast and have great prompts and different ways of thinking and very nice and knowledgeable people running it. They don’t make you share or participate if you don’t want to, my only critique would be they should probably call on people to participate and share ( and of course allow them the option to say no I don’t want to share) because most of us are willing to participate and just need to be prompted but will never volunteer on our own

I was in treatment at Phoenix House for seven months. This review if for the HAUPPAUGE house.
PROS: The counseling from most of the staff was excellent one on one. They allow you to have your PHONE after 30 days. You get about $150/mo from the state. Out of house visits every two weeks. A small gym. They will help you with schooling (ACCESS VR). They help you get your license back via the DAR program. They have groups for grief and loss, anger management, relapse prevention, relationships group.
CONS: There's no smoking. Most rooms have bunk beds. AA only comes twice per week. The food is not great. A lot of the clients have "jail house" mentalities. Just avoid these people. The facility is old and under funded.

This place is all about the money months go by before you are told that you owe money after I asked a number of times then it’s thousands of dollars. They also broke confidentiality and Googled my home address and comment about the size of my home.
Finally the so called social workers, that should be called children don’t last long before they are out the door looking for work some where else (should be a supermarket stocking shelves).

For the most part the staff are friendly. The curriculum is great. The phones can be a real pain in the butt to get in touch with somebody if you are calling for the first time. Make sure when you go in to fill out your paperwork and do your intake that you ask for somebody's card, that way you can reach them directly if something comes up where you can't attend iop. A van comes in the morning and picks up between 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. house to house to house. Everybody gets picked up and then everybody gets brought home so it's really cool. It's Monday Wednesday Friday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and we also get two different 15 minute breaks which is nice. We get coffee during the first break and snacks. We do anger management on Wednesdays I believe it is or maybe it's mondays. But a lot of the stuff is educational and we meditate for the first portion and talk about our feelings and things that have been going on for us.

Fairfield, Connecticut | The Center for Discovery Fairfield is a residential rehab in Fairfield, Connecticut that treats people with a co-occurring eating disorder and addiction. They can also help with other issues that complicate your eating disorder and substance use recovery like mental health conditions. Located in Fairfield, Connecticut, is the Center for Discovery F | Treatments Programs Payment Options | It’s hard to believe that in a couple of months it will be two years since I walked into the doors of Center for Discovery Congress. My time at CFD was truly transformative. From the moment I arrived, I was met with warmth, compassion, and an incredible level of care. The staff—therapists, dietitian, and counselors—were not only knowledgeable but deeply invested in my healing journey and SO extremely patient with me.
What made my experience so impactful was the holistic approach to recovery. They didn’t just focus on my eating disorder; they helped me address the underlying trauma that contributed to it. Through specialized trauma work, I was able to process past experiences in a safe and supportive environment. The therapy sessions, whether group or one-on-one, gave me the tools to navigate my emotions, build resilience, and truly begin healing from the inside out.
Beyond the incredible care, one of the most meaningful parts of my journey was the connections I formed with others in treatment. Being surrounded by individuals who truly understood my struggles created a sense of belonging I had never felt before. The friendships I built during my time at CFD became a source of strength and encouragement, reminding me that I was never alone in this process. We supported each other through the ups and downs, celebrated victories—big and small—and formed bonds that will last a lifetime.
The environment itself was nurturing and free of judgment, allowing me to focus entirely on recovery. Every meal was a step forward, supported by professionals who understood the complexities of my struggles. They gave me the tools to helped start rebuilding my relationship with food, my body, and most importantly, myself.
Center for Discovery Congress gave me hope when I felt lost. They empowered me with the strength and skills to move forward, not just in my recovery from an eating disorder, but in my overall healing from trauma. I am forever grateful for their kindness, patience, and unwavering support. If you or a loved one are struggling, I wholeheartedly recommend Center for Discovery—you will be in the best hands possible, surrounded by a community that truly cares.

I was at Center for Discovery for 5 and a half months. Out of all the 31 treatment places I have been this one was by far the best. The staff are amazing and so caring and really have all the clients best interest in mind. You are not just another client… you become part of the congress house where everyone cares so deeply about everyone. The staff go above and beyond to make sure that everyone is getting the right treatment that is good for them. I liked how individualized each person’s treatment was. I am very lucky that I got to have Angela as my therapist. Angela helped me in more ways than I could ever express. This in it’s own shows how amazing and devoted the staff are to ensuring each person’s recovery. Angela was going on call (leaving as the full time therapist) but stayed an extra three months to be my therapist until I discharged. The clinical director Sam took vacation days so that Angela could come in and see me (technically Angela wasn’t supposed to come in because she was on call). because Sam knew how important it was for my recovery to continue the work with Angela. I have never been to any other treatment center that would do that or even think about doing that. That in itself made a huge impact on me that they were willing to go out of their ways to ensure I get the best possible treatment. Sam is an amazing clinical director and I really look up to her a lot. Some of the staff have been there for 8-10 years which is rare for ed treatment centers. That in itself shows how great Sam is. The groups were all great as well and the counselors are all amazing. I learned so many coping skills that I implement into my everyday life. You can also check in with your therapist as many times as you need and you can also check in with the other therapist’s as well. Dorcas and all the nurses are also amazing and go above and beyond to make sure that everyone is okay. Dr. B the medical doctor is the best doctor I have ever met in my life. I looked forward to seeing her every week!
If you have the opportunity to go to this specific cfd location I 100% recommend it! It is honestly life changing.

This is my second time coming to CFD Congress Location, I had left AMA the first time and it was the WORST decision of my life. I relapsed almost immediately but this made me realize that unlike other treatment programs, this program works HARD to heal deeper psychological situations contributing to your eating disorder. From every counselor (Allyson, Katie, Rosa, Jordan, Kim, Tasha, etc) , nurse (Aiasha, Dorcas, Debbie, Tiana, Shantel, etc.) therapist (Angela, Saer, Melissa, Lauren) to dietician (Simone) they work to know every aspect of your person in order to appropriately treat you. The work toward recovery is long, difficult, and emotionally exhausting but the staff AND program director (Samantha) are there for you in the wink of an eye. There is a camaraderie between the patients and staff that is not present in ANY other program; where they just check a list for recovery as if it is an equation. Staff works with insurance to make sure you have adequate enough time to truly heal and recover physically and mentally. When the world feels unsafe, this house is a safe haven for those with eating disorders and trauma. This program also prepares you to continue your recovery in the outside world where you may be surrounded by a toxic culture or environment. True recovery and freedom from your eating disorder begins at CFD Congress location.

THANK YOU Fran Valentino and the ENTIRE Seafield Amity team! You have been instrumental in my 19 year old sons rehabilitation and continued addiction recovery. He has been clean of Opioid use with your guidance, care, love and therapy. We could not have come this far without you! From personal meetings, calls, and daily interaction with Fran Exec Director, Joseph his counselor, Jennifer and her team in MAT program, and Dan regarding office and health coverage, you all have made this possible, and my family couldn't thank you enough or have asked for anything else! We are eternally grateful as your program was effective, close and personal. I would recommend anyone with addiction problems, please go here for help! They saved our child's life! Thank you all and for your continued help!

Before choosing this place I read the reviews and I was scared but honestly I had limited options. I’m so grateful I came here. I was able to get taken care of and the groups were helpful. I learned a lot. The lady who runs it, Fran V. Took extra time with me to talk about my kids and what I needed to take care of them. She helped me find the strength I didn’t know I had honestly.

What a great staff and facility. I have heard so many success stories that come from RSCT. It is no wonder it comes so recommended. The hardest thing is to make that call. I encourage you to call this recovery center, when you do. They can help.

Choosing a recovery facility was a life transforming decision that was made very quickly by myself and Family. From the intake with Kevin to Jessica, the Director, the front desk, staff, medical team and all the talented and empathetic counselors and facilitators I say Bravo.
Nicole was my counselor and throughout my 13 weeks in the program, showed a path forward and prepared me for life after the program. I am so thankful to have chosen this facility and these people. Nicole has impacted my life in ways I cannot put into words.
Bobby, the main administrators and one of the facilitators is an expert as what he does.
Thank you, recovery services of Connecticut!
