Wellbridge truly exceeded every expectation I had. The staff — from the nurses and techs to the kitchen crew — were incredibly kind, attentive, and supportive. Special shoutout to my counselor, Johnathan, whose insight and compassion made a huge impact on my journey. This place didn’t just help me get better — it gave me a new beginning, and for that, I’m forever thankful.

Wellbridge, the employees and patients have saved my life. I was not expecting such a high level of attention and care by the staff. And I definitely wasn’t expecting the level of detail and care that went into the design of the facility. I will always be grateful for the new start I got there. I was able to make a lot of new friends that have similar problems as me and will continue to know them throughout my life!

Great place to start your recovery journey. The staff made me feel at ease from the very first phone call. The grounds and housing is beautiful creating a relaxing environment. Everyone I met was welcoming and friendly, staff and other patients. I especially enjoyed my art therapy, but there are lots of different treatment options to explore which was great for me. Also I have mobility problems, but everyone was accommodating to make me as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend Wellbridge.

The therapist and nurse practitioner are wonderful. I know that people with mental issues want to need help. My family member asked for help. So far, this group has been excellent, and I see marked improvement. I have nothing but praise for this group and I feel comfortable with them. Again, I read the reviews, and years ago, I went through this kind of therapy with another family member who, no matter how we tried to help, it was always someone else's fault. It was not this group. We are pleased with their help.

I am eternally grateful to the kind folks at Mather Mental Health clinic. When I was unwell, I knew I really needed the help, but at the same time I wasn't sure if I'd get better. Sure enough, here I am years later, writing a review that I feel so much better now! I'd worked with several other therapists before landing at Mather, and I have to say that these people are the best. Most of all, Clara. I'm very, very thankful for the opportunity to work with her and to get better.

I'm glad I went to Mather Mental Health Clinic. I've been treated there since January of this year(2020). I've honestly done a complete 180 since I started. When I started my treatment at the clinic, I felt hopeless, I didn't want to live anymore, I felt like everything I did was never good enough. I've always known I needed help but I was too stubborn to do anything about it. I kept saying, "I'm fine. I will be fine." Obviously I was not fine. Thanks to Clara, the doctors and group, I have control over my life again. They've given me tools that I can use for the rest of my life. I know that there will be bad days, that's part of life. But now I know how to handle them better than before I received help. I'm moving out of state and I wish I could still see them all on zoom but unfortunately their policy doesn't allow it. Special thanks to Clara, Dr. Patel, Dr. Qadri, Alexandra and our group. You are all amazing. Thank you for all your help ❤ I'll miss you all!

I went to NYU yesterday I'm a senior and I was having dizzy spells. It was quiet there it was unbelievable they took me right away a wonderful young doctor examined me they gave me all kinds of tests. The nurses were great everything seems much better than the old hospital. The only thing I have to say is the ER is a nightmare, they pushed too many people into small cubicles and there's no rest no quiet and no room to shut your machines off when they're beeping for 45 minutes that's a problem. That's the only problem I had is my neighbor's machine was going so long I couldn't even take a nap waiting in between my tests. I do love the portal I get test results before the doctors have time for me so that was a plus. I just wish they'd use the money to make the ER better it's a big problem and people are in desperate need down there. The poor nurses do seem a little bit overwhelmed they take a long time to answer the light and the machines that are constantly going off. But it is an improvement and clean since Brookhaven hospital it really is nicer and I hope they continue to do something with the ER thank you.

I can't say enough wonderful things, about this extraordinary place. Initially, being from San Diego, after reading the terrible reviews, I was so apprehensive, reluctant to go here, to the point of getting sick, thinking this place sounds awful. I couldn't have been more wrong. Shame on these people writing those terrible reviews. It's a bunch lies, on truths, fictitious statements. I went in expecting the worst. ALMOST IMMEDIATELY UPON ENTERING THE BUILDING, I KNEW HOW LONG THOSE REVIEWS WERE. IT WAS RIGHT IN MY FACE I've never experienced so many wonderful people, all in one place. You'd be lucky to get just one kind person, but in this place, the love is everywhere. I mean it. I can't say enough. No judgement, no looking down, no feelings of shame because of the way they speak to you. To the contrary, they treat you wonderfully, with kindness and compassion and with a real desire to help. God bless every single person at this facility. They truly are doing GOD'S work. Angels, here on earth, to help those in pain, we numb ourselves, with the drugs, just to get through another day. If I can do it, after my hellish life, I stand confident, anyone is capable. This place touched my heart. I go by actions and their actions at CT Counseling, tell me all I need to know. They ;I've what they're doing and truly care about other people, with a genuine desire to help others. There is no question about it.

Like ALL programs in or out patient if you WANT to stop and only need the means, guidance and support to do it than this Is the place . If it was forced upon you or just not ready then may be the place but it may take you more than 1 attempt . In the beginning it’s about reducing amount of your intake substance as you increase amount of medication. That amount and that pace is unique to the individual and CCC recognizes that and also respects that . As long as you trend in proper direction and continue to show progress you have the support of your Counselor. Once stabilized they develop your treatment plan. When you have decreased and eliminated substances and have found a comfortable level of medication dosage that is when you now replaced your bad habit routine with a daily monitored stabilized routine that also is unique to the comfort level of individual discussing a wide range of topics with your assigned counselor: once trust is earned having clean random monthly tests you don’t have to be at the facility unless you chose to and you can begin to take home monitored medication to responsibly proceed with your outpatient program. Your counselor will encourage the timing the is best to decrease at the pace that works for you until you are done and substance free. So much better than 30 day, 90 day ,12 month 0r any predetermined length of time programs because every person is unique whether they feel confident they can do it in a year, 3 yrs, 5 , 10 or stay with this support system as a new part of life what is important is that new life is what you WANTED to achieve and join the team of success stories! In most other reviews I agree that it is about money for the center , but what business , paying their employees ,is not about making money to stay afloat? Also not all counselors are ex addicts that have felt & know exactly what & how we feel, but we can open up & let them learn about the uncontrollable disease & struggles of how our mind works!

3 1/2hrs was a bit much especially when you're already in withdrawal & have a 5yr old but I guess that's more of a ME issue than APT foundation. As a whole they are fabulous. Never had any issues, they are even extremely helpful when in a bind and have no transportation to get to clinic. I would recommend apt foundation for anyone looking to maintain long term sobriety. Edit: the 3 1/2hrs was just the initial intake. I also only went to Long wharf location for intake as well. For my day to day needs I attend the clinic in North Haven. I have no bad things to say about that location either

I've dealt with the VA is several different states now; easily the best clinic I've been too. The medical staff here really did their best to help me; they were constantly following up with me and moving mountains to get me seen by specialty clinics. VA resources are spread thin, so getting seen for specialist care can be difficult/require lots of waiting. Other VA clinics responded by blowing me off, telling me my symptoms weren't severe enough to warrant treatment. My Doctors at the Stamford Clinic advocated for me and got me seen.
