My inpatient had very little skill building to help prevent being admitted. Even letting folks know what kinds of therapy are out there to work through with our therapists. Outpatient has been a better experience. They have gone above and beyond for me trying to find me help. My therapy sessions have been good. I've had a couple therapists as some leave the job. I've been really happy with the help I've been given. The skills they teach are good ones. My biggest complaint is the short visits. It's very difficult to work on things of most of your session is just catching the therapist up since the previous visit. They were met with kindness, compassion and a deep understanding of how to deal. After care is great too. If you know someone who is struggling and cannot deal anymore bring them here. I also made a small hiccup on the end of my stay so stupid but they let it go with a warning seeing the progess I made as well as my fellow friend I made, her progress as well. I would 1000000000% recommend especially for women struggling with abuse. They specialize in really helping you find your inner strength . Also.. out of all the stays. This is the only one above a 3. So that tells ya something.. and its closer to 4 than 3 so great place !! Karina Petsche 7 months ago I was recommended here by FLACRA in Clifton Springs and I couldn't be more happier with my decision, was there from the end of May to the end of July, very caring and empathetic counselors and nurses along with the food service staff which is an army of one but she rocks it, they truly want to see you succeed and live a happy joyous life, they provide you with great information about addiction and also provide you with a wide selection of literature and even host NA and AA meetings with guest speakers, most staff are in recovery themselves so they can relate to your struggles with addiction, im 22 and currently 3 months sober, the age range is well diverse, I would recommend this ATC to anyone who wants to change their life around, I will never forget the staff who helped me overcome my alcoholism 🙏 Jonathan Tschetter 10 months ago

The therapists, doctors and facilitators are all very caring, helpful and interested in their patients. I would HIGHLY recommend them. If you are struggling with ANY mental health issues. Go and seek help. Please. It's just like any other physical, medical, social or financial issues in life. And a big part of that is to the phenomenal help I get from my therapist and MAT dr. At Evelyn Brandon. My therapist is such a sweetheart. I can call or email her anytime of any day and she'll respond as soon as she can and help me through whatever. They act as more than drug counselors, they're life counselors too. Plus I have a once a week group zoom meeting that I attend through Evelyn Brandon as well that I've gained some real close bonds with other recovering addicts so that I know that I'm never alone in this life long battle against my demons. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to get help with either their mental health &/or their drug&/or alcohol addictions.. trust me, life is so much better being free from substances. Dr. Wagner and the anesthesiologist explain everything that you will encounter as well answer any questions you may have. The OR prep techs, nurses, and PA are friendly and helpful. The post op nurse was very comforting and helpful. The transporters move you carefully, staff nurses and techs were amazing and experienced. The PT and PT assistants were very knowledgeable and get you going. I highly recommend Unity Hospital.
