I've been here 3 times and it's horrible. The therapy aides have no clue and are mean. It smells on c p u. On the unit, you basically watch movies all day. How is that supposed to help us? Food is ok but still depressing. Try your best not to go here. Oh and they charge you rent once you're on c p u or tlr..it's not a nice place

I have a great therapist here, Paige, whom I've been seeing over a year and a half...
We're just getting into the crucial issues that have made therapy necessary for me, and she's helping me get a grip on the hidden pain, difficult memories, and emotional suffering that remained after a course of CBT with another therapist at a different clinic. CBT is great in some ways but to recover from C-PTSD requires some time spent in regular one-on-one psychotherapy, where trauma is addressed and emotions are released in a safe environment.
As much as the CBT at the other treatment center I went to helped me with applying logic to my then out-of-control emotions, it was time for another tactic so that I could complete my journey of healing. This is that continued journey.
I'm going to continue my progress here with Paige and am optimistic about my future as I break the lifelong hold past trauma has had upon me.

For 18 months he's been there for me no matter what. ANYTIME.... He is easy to talk to, he doesn't judge, his compassion and devotion to his patients and humanity could circle to the world twice over! After Every visit I feel so much better and stronger.... The rest of the staff is also amazing you feel like family! That's how all places like this should be ran. Off topic response to a comment, centipedes should not be killed they do not build nest, they control our spider and other bug populations, they are scared of people and hold no threat to humans! Worry about the bed bug problem everywhere in auburn but there. Most places spray pesticide in almost all buildings usually several times a week to contol infesting insects, which contributes to alot of the sickness of this world.

I have been with unity chemical dependency for a while now. All of the staff in outpatient and the majority of staff in inpatient are compassionate and were essential for my recovery. My outpatient therapist is always ready to listen and give incredible support and resources. I don't think I would be in recovery if it weren't for my therapist, Sam. My life has been saved. I have improved my quality of life, as well as my relationships. I highly recommend unity chemical dependency for those who struggle with addiction. I went in yesterday and was surprised to see the new recreational center they created for Veterans. There's snacks, a pool table, and a great staff that work there. The whole Veterans Outreach Center has been good to me since I got out of the Navy in 2005. I sense there's a lot more they've done for me that I don't realize and for that if so I'm forever grateful. Thank you to all the staff and the community for your help. You need go in the driveway just to the right of the Tops driveway, drive all the way back to the train tracks then there is a gate to the right.
