Hatice Ozcan, a cleaner, always has a great attitude and works very hard. Jose, a maintenance worker, was equally busy constantly. The rehabilitation personnel, headed by the dynamic due of Michelle and Michelle, are the headliners of this facility. If you want to get better and even if you don’t, they will help make you realize that you can be as good as possible. They genuinely care about each and every patient and take the time to work individually with everyone of them. A friendly staff from when you walk in helps as well. I had hernia surgery on June 23rd 2026. Everyone went above and beyond and took extra care of me from doctor that did surgery, nurses and every staff at Huntington hospital. They even let my mom in the recovery room so I wake up I my Mom is there to make me feel safe. I would go to Huntington hospital for anything including physatric mental health problems because everyone is so accommodating and making a special needs adult relaxed and feeling warm welcoming to Huntington hospital. Considering the circumstances 😂 I remember one girl constantly dialing 9-11 from the phone's. I don't remember if the calls went through but she bragged in the room at night.. The food was actually really good we never went to bed hungry they had activities or you can sit in your rooms. They locked the bathrooms during the day. Because a few of the girls would flush stuff down like apples and pencils 😆 🍎 ✏️. We had a menu where we would choose what we wanted for our meals. The ward was clean and the staff was really cool. I remember I got discharged in February it was cold and fit the atmosphere of my current situation. I'm now married and have a daughter. This was a different time in my life. Made friends there but lost contact with some but 1 friend we keep in touch through FB. M.H. was I place I needed at the time. You go to school so we wore uniforms no biggie.
