I was here for about a month getting IV treatment for sepsis. All of the nurses on the second floor, Virginia’s crew, were very attentive to my needs. Being in a hospital bed for quite a while and had serious back pain. Virginia is in charge and she is right on top of everything! Pete, the floor doctor/nurse was fantastic also. Any questions I had medication wise, he was quick to answer them. The ladies in PT came up to my room every day, even though it was very difficult for me to get out of bed and come down to the gym and push myself. There was some days I could not get out of bed, but they were persistent and fantastic also. Shantel The director of social services was very friendly and accommodating also. I don’t care who you are. It’s not a great experience being In rehabilitation for that long. But the entire staff are true professionals, and I respect every one of you. And everybody who works here tries to make your life a little easier. I would’ve gave five stars except for the food! LOL.

There were a few members of the team that really made a difference. RN’s Jenn Dowling and Pedre Pierre, alone with CNA’s Maleita Osbourne and Elsie Lindor, cared for my father not just with medical skill, but with humanity, patience, and deep respect.
Jen, Pedro, Maleita and Elsie each played a vital role in helping my father maintain his dignity as his strength faded. Their attentiveness, kindness and quiet strength brought comfort not only to him, but to our entire family. They treated him as a person, not just a patient- with kindness and compassion
Each of them has a heart of gold. We are forever grateful for their care, their grace, and the way they honored my father’s life through the tenderness of his care. He told me before he passed that it was important for him to have been at Affinity because it was there that he learned the love of strangers.

The emergency department here took very good care of my wife and considered her needs and comfort during her stay.
On a side note, whoever is in charge of culinary services has a better grasp on salinity than most restaurant chefs. Nice work on the shepherds pie and ratatouille over quinoa. I would have rather eaten both of those things again over some recent meals I’ve had out.

My expertise at wellbridge was absolutely phenomenal, the whole staff from the therapists to the kitchen staff are one of a kind. Bethany was my therapist she was nothing short of exceptional. That helped me developed the tools and skills to succeed when i got out. Without wellbridge i wouldn’t have had the confidence i do now to tackle my addiction. Life changing and life saving.

I was a Patient there for approximately 9 months. A Wonderful Atmosphere and you’re surrounded by ppl who Really Care.
Especially the Counselors, My Counselor in Particular. Her Name was Jenn. A Wonderful Person and an Absolute Dear young Lady.
She was Extremely informative and Knows just how to make you feel Comfortable and Cared For.
I was going through a Rough patch, but looked Forward to my meetings with her every week and Every time I left her office, I ALWAYS FELT BETTER AND FELT LIKE SOMEONE CARED..
I can Honestly Say, Meeting Jenn was a Highlight of my Time there.
I only left there because I found a place Much Closer to my home out East.
But my Counselor there will always be close to my heart.
And I Thank Her Dearly.
All in all, a Wonderful Place to Get Clean and Stay Clean 👍🏻😁

Used these services for a loved one in crisis. Chris was incredibly helpful at guiding us through the full process of the intervention, providing a consultative approach towards finding the right facility, and mediating some of the difficult questions during the actual process.
Likewise, the approach allowed us to focus on my loved one, not make a difficult moment about ourselves, and gave us the right playbook to get our message across.

Went here for a couple months in 2022, specifically the therapist Casey was a huge help when my dad passed and made an effort to help me figure out I had depression and helped my family get through tough times and helped us with donations, who also helped my family in 2016 and donated toys ❤️❤️❤️

I have been a patient at this program for nearly a decade, first starting in 2015 when I was in a very dark place. At that time, my attendance was inconsistent and I wasn’t ready to fully commit to recovery, yet the staff and Dr. Tuzel remained patient and supportive.
In 2020, after returning from inpatient treatment, I was given a new care team that has been truly life-changing. My counselor, Cindy Cisneros has been an incredible source of guidance and support. Over the past five years, she has helped me work through both my substance use and the deeper underlying issues, always taking the time to ensure I feel heard and understood.
My prescribing nurse practitioner A.Coriolan aka Andy has also been an essential part of my progress. He has worked with me carefully and consistently over the years to find the best treatment plan, and his dedication has been vital to my recovery.
Today, I am proud to say that I’ve gone from being a lost young man to a productive, ambitious, and sober adult. I am deeply grateful to this program and its staff for helping me rebuild my life.

I am a patient of B.E.S.T. treatments and all I can say is how grateful I am for my therapist Jacklyn, who has helped me along the way in every aspect to catch any curve ball thrown my way. Within 4 months she has been very supportive of me and has helped me tremendously attain my goal of bettering my self and achieving my sobriety. I would highly recommend to anyone who is struggling with any drug or alcohol issues to get into the best counseling and hopefully end up with Jacklyn as their therapist!! Because of the incessant bullying of my poor daughter we needed to find an outside therapist. This group was highly recommended and I have to say that they are great. My daughter has been getting the help she needed, and I went to war with her school district about how they have been incompetent, didn't take my daughter's safety seriously, and write up no reports. I was told they can't investigate the cyberbulling because it was off school grounds. This is what I've been dealing with.

Went there around 2013. I didn't stay clean after, but I didn't want to. They had a zero tolerance for drugs so the sober houses were actually clean and if someone used they'd be kicked out. The classes were long but not terrible. Ellen was great. Only thing was the sober house was in the HOOD HOOD where we had a crack dealer on our corner, prostitues 100ft away, and coke being sold out the barbershop lol.

FCA is by the far the best rehab facility I have been to, and I have been to many. Great staff who actually care and go the extra mile to help you. I would recommend any of their consolers, especially nick and linda. nick has gone above and beyond to help me through this rough patch in my life. Lastly their lab is on point have been coming for 18 months not one false positive, unlike some other facilities I have been too.

My children see Taylor and she is the absolute best of the best. I have never met someone who is so willing to advocate for not only my kids but for me as a parent as well. Even when I have to join her for a session she listens to my side and gives me advice on how to go about it. I have become a mother I never thought I could be because of her help. My kids have made so many changes in behavior thanks to her. I wish I could take her with me when I move. People like her don't come often and anyone would be lucky to have her as a therapist.

Taylor Eckhaus is finally the therapist my teenage child needs. She is an advocate but she also makes my child self reflect which is not easy for an autistic teenager. She specializes in LGBtQ+ clientele. But she also advocates for my child’s rights at school. I couldn’t ask for a better therapist for my child. She totally sees and understands my child’s issues. Taylor is the first therapist that my child feels comfortable with and trusts enough to open up to.

This hospital is amazing. It's a well-oiled machine full of some of the nicest people I have ever met. They went way above and beyond to accommodate and treat myself and my newborn. Everyone there is so sympathetic and sincere. I told my husband that I didn't know there could be so many good people in one place. Stony Brook is a very good place to be when you're having a very bad time. We won't forget our experience here anytime soon. Highly recommend, they will take care of you.

Free housing is excellent and wonderful and amazing. And all the workers are excellent wonderful and amazing too very helpful workers too and very nice roommates.
