Going to Mountainside in Huntington was a life changing experience. I could not recommend it more!

As a clinical social worker running a local group practice, I regularly collaborate and refer clients to Mountainside Treatment Center. Their staff has always been exceptional, especially Courtney Hulse and Dan Sexton, who go above and beyond in tailoring their treatment plans for each client and family. Mountainside serves as a tremendous resource, providing quality substance abuse treatment that is critically needed here on Long Island. My experience with Mountainside has been nothing but positive. Jessica Leone has been key in my recovery. She consistently has a positive attitude, provides great insights and experiences. Jessica listens well and challenges me. She is open whenever needed and feels like one of my biggest supporters. I appreciate all that she does.

Excellent therapists who seem to really care. From time of intake until you are actually assigned a therapist was quite fast. The therapists are compassionate and experienced.

Putting my review in a nutshell,"my mother always told me to "fake it until you make it" and by becoming a rehabilitated human being at,Carnegie Hill Institute,again,I no longer have to fake it. And if there were anyone else I'd thank,besides the Lord,for seeking life' purpose,I thank the generosity of spirit and the way they come from love first and of in their successes at making sure I can regain the trust of others because they trust in me. And without gaining the trust of others,it takes away your will to live.

I've been a client at Carnegie Hill Institute for quite a number of years. I had been in treatment for years, and I can sincerely state that the treatment plans offered by the staff are the most effective that I have encountered so far.

Sasha was amazing 👏 she did the intake for a family member that has medical ailments and addiction. They are accommodating my cousins medications and treating her alcoholism. I am so grateful 🙏

Great program

The emergency department here took very good care of my wife and considered her needs and comfort during her stay. On a side note, whoever is in charge of culinary services has a better grasp on salinity than most restaurant chefs. Nice work on the shepherds pie and ratatouille over quinoa. I would have rather eaten both of those things again over some recent meals I’ve had out.

Seafield inpatient program is a safe and supportive environment to start your journey. Staff is well experienced and passionate about recovery.

This was my second time there and I got something to take with me this time and I went to a long time treatment

As a provider it can be difficult specifically on a weekend to have a nice warm handover in urgent situations. Stephanie in admissions was beyond accommodating and helpful.

In 2018 i went to treatment at Horizon Village. My counselor was Bill Bly what an amazing man and his wife she handled a fitness recovery part of it. What an amazing.place chef on duty in morning and afternoon and evening classes were very helpful to my recovery im 6 year 3 months clean Secretary of State

Saved my son’s life, and they helped our family in so many different ways. I can’t speak highly enough about this place.

Between her and Debbie, you’ve got the dream team. And then there’s Dan — the Shaolin monk of Seafield. No robe, but all the zen. If you’re lost, stressed, confused, or just need something done, Dan is the man. Reliable, kind, and solid as a rock. If you let this place work for you — and you put in the effort — you’ll walk out with more than you came in with. I know I did.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Seafield. It basically saved my life and has guided me to a much healthier and happier way of living. I have 1 year sober, and I give much credit to this facility for getting me so where I am today. From the West Hampton rehabilitation center, to the women’s sober house, to the outpatient counseling and meetings, it has been nothing short of wonderful and life changing. I have acquired so much from the amazing counseling and people that work here, the way you feel accepted and understood is profound. If you’re looking for help in addiction and turning your life around, you’ve found the right place!

Amazing experience from kitchen staff to house keepers to rss' nurses and therapists. Anyone I am missing did an amazing job. Everything was above and beyond from previous facilities I have been to. Wellbridge saved my marriage and probably my life

My expertise at wellbridge was absolutely phenomenal, the whole staff from the therapists to the kitchen staff are one of a kind. Bethany was my therapist she was nothing short of exceptional. That helped me developed the tools and skills to succeed when i got out. Without wellbridge i wouldn’t have had the confidence i do now to tackle my addiction. Life changing and life saving.

I attended 3 months ago and LICR was the most hospitable place From the moment I walked in the front door to the day I left the front door. Every faculty members from the bubble , to the owner and the counselors. Melanie stands out as one who made every patient feel like they were special to her. I took up yoga because of LICR and their amazing instructors. I made some good friends there which I have been in touch with since leaving. Speakers were very helpful and insightful. This facility never lacked the caring for it's members. As I told my Exit counselor. I feel I let them down if I would return. Their reply...we are very sure you won't. Thank you LICR! This place saved me. I was in a bad way and with the help of LICR staff and community, I have been able to continue to stay sober for just over 1 year now. The food, kitchen staff, bedrooms, and facility was really incredible. The experience was no walk in the park, pretty brutal actually but it lead me to recovery!

I couldn't stay the full 28 days but this was not LICR's fault ... To be honest ive never been to a facility where the people cared so much about their patients. The service was above and beyond these people never told me no . They listened to my concerns and bent over backwards to try and get me to stay ... I can honestly say that ive never been treated better . The food was amazing ,The staff was friendly and accommodating and I really hope each and everyone there reads this review and understands that im extremely grateful for letting me part of such a wonderful program

That’s when my life changed my whole life. what she told me in that office which I’m not going to share on here because it’s personal I mean, no disrespect about it but what she told me in her office ... changed my life. my whole life . Miss Lori and Mr. Vinny at different times throughout the time I was in cornerstone I took what they told me applied it to my life just the way they told me and this day. today I’m alive. I’m sober. I have a job got my own apartment. Pay my bills get to see my kids. I have my family with me and I have a beautiful wife all because of What Miss Lori Costa and vinny a.k.a. Amazing place and miracles truly happen!!!I truly didn’t want to live anymore when I first got there but the staff there helped me change my thinking around and I am truly forever grateful!!!!!!Lori was nothing short of amazing and relentless on helping me get into the rehab and I ended up with an amazing counselor named John that really helped me open my eyes !!

The staff at cornerstone are excellent! Laurie from admissions is extremely helpful and goes above and beyond for the Clients at cornerstone! I would 100% recommend this program and facility to anyone looking to go to inpatient.

My experience was it was a very decent facility.The staff seems to really care. I had a amazing counselor casssandra weaver that lady believed in me and really had legitimate concern for her work load as well as other people’s case load.she restored my belief in humanity.I don’t talk to her as often as I would like but she always made time when and if I needed it.Being African American and her occasion I Thought I would face racism Total opposite.wherever her and her cat Missy are God bless her soul professionalism Along with the QUEEN WHO RUNS THE PLACE LACY WHO FIGHTS FOR US HER AND DAVE BEHIND THE SCENES.THE FOOD WAS OKAY.CP

I have been with unity chemical dependency for a while now. All of the staff in outpatient and the majority of staff in inpatient are compassionate and were essential for my recovery. My outpatient therapist is always ready to listen and give incredible support and resources. I don't think I would be in recovery if it weren't for my therapist, Sam. My life has been saved. I have improved my quality of life, as well as my relationships. I highly recommend unity chemical dependency for those who struggle with addiction. If you are committed to changing your life, this program and staff will do everything to support you.

I recently delivered my third child at Phelps and it was the absolute best birthing experience I’ve ever had. Comparing it to White Plains Hospital, Greenwich Hospital and my sisters recent experience at Lawrence in Bronxville, Phelps Hospital leaves them in the dust. The delivery room was amazing, I loved the birthing tub. I had the most wonderful and kind doctor and nurses the whole stay. One of my favorite parts about Phelps though is their food. Other hospitals feel like hospital food, Phelps is gourmet, it feels like a hotel. I also had my thyroid surgery at Phelps so I recommend Phelps for pregnant moms and those needing other surgeries.

Everyone from ER to care units is very kind and attentive. Special kudos to Alyda from ER for being super sweet and kind to my wife and me! 🙌

Leaving a review for a hospital is not something I would ordinarily think of doing, but in this case I will make an exception. My 90 year old mother in law suffered a fall and we brought her to Phelps from the Bronx because we did not want to wait 10 hours in an emergency room. She received exceptional care from the Doctors and staff and she will be going home confident she will make a full recovery. Every staff member from the Orthopedic Surgeon down to the security staff were compassionate, professional, courteous and friendly. I have never had such a good experience with a hospital as I have with Phelps.

Christina is truly exceptional! She listens with genuine empathy and always makes you feel understood. Her attentiveness stands out, and even though it’s never expected, she consistently goes above and beyond to be available whenever support is needed. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking compassionate and reliable guidance.

Mountainside has been one of the best treatment facilities that I have ever worked with. Recently, I had a family member complete inpatient and IOP and I was amazed at how well the team works with their clients. From the initial intake process to referral services, I would have been lost without them!

I would like to share some thoughts about Mountainside and especially our sons recovery coach Christina. Following his completion of a 28 day in-patient program with another provider he enrolled at Mountainside Chappaqua. He is in their Outside Patient and Recovery Coaching programs. Our son and Christina have been working together for about five months. They talk daily and meet weekly. A few weeks into the program Christina began doing weekly calls with my wife and me. Our son works with various therapists, clinicians and other staff at Mountainside. He is complimentary of the entire organization and their contribution in helping him understand his addiction and providing recovery support. My wife and I only work with Christina. Christina is EXCELLENT. She balances professional counseling, insight, accountability, great communication skills and timely follow-up. Having walked this life herself she is highly skilled and relatable but it’s never about her. Christina cares. She has built valued trust with all of is. My wife’s and my weekly calls provide an update on his progress and any open issues. She reminds us that he is accountable for his own recovery and keeps us in our lane. Most important she has helped keep our sons recovery moving positively forward day after day.
