I was in the ER yesterday due to excruciating eye pain, and everyone I encountered from start to finish was exceptional. The entire staff was compassionate, attentive, and professional during a very uncomfortable and stressful experience. Dr. Lim, in particular, had excellent bedside manner and took the time to thoroughly explain everything, which I truly appreciated. I was very impressed with the care I received and grateful for such a positive ER experience.

October 2025 - At Ivy's Brewed Awakenings, my comments are similar to my last review. Eating for the first time in the early afternoon, I enjoyed their egg, sausage and cheese sandwich on an English muffin. Their baked goods are so delicious, we saw one worker bring four danishes stacked on top of each other all smiles heading back to his work area. Only two muffins were left when we got there, and my family member bought both with a small coffee. # June 2025 - Returning for a follow-up appointment, we looked forward to going to Ivy's Brewed Awakenings coffee shop on the first floor again. They serve breakfast all day and I hadn't eaten yet around 2:00, so I ordered an egg sandwich with bacon and cheese on an English muffin with no butter. My family member looked forward to having one of their muffins again with a medium coffee. She had the cinnamon and took two to-go. We sat at a table for two. The egg sandwich was very good. Plenty of crispy, warm bacon, lightly toasted muffin, and wrapped in foil in a cardboard box. I heard someone else order their chicken sandwich and another order their chicken salad with pecans. I'll try lunch next time. # A member of my family started going here to see a new doctor. He gives her very thorough exams and care. The lobby has good security where anyone coming in has to check in and get a pass. Decent amount of parking. I wanted to review the coffee shop in the lobby for visitors and staff, "Ivy's Brewed Awakenings," and tried to add it as a place as a local guide, but Google Maps couldn't confirm it and rejected my request. So, here are some photos of the eatery's seating and menus, plus a shot of two of the three breakfast muffins we bought, pistachio, and blueberry. We split the cinnamon one, which was unbelievably good. Only Starbucks coffee is sold here, and Ivy's makes it in every way, from lattes to cappuccino or just plain coffee, which we had and enjoyed. Both breakfast and lunch food are made here.

The Dunes quite literally saved my life. I have no shame in admitting publicly that I have had issues in the past. It takes a man to face his problems, but I never could have done it without the assistance of The Dunes. I’m sober for years now and the skills I learned at The Dunes are things to utilize every day. Also…Diana is one of the therapists there but she is so much more than just that. I credit her with having directly saved my life. She also stood up for me when I needed it and I’ll never forget it. If you or someone you love ends up at The Dunes, make sure to seek her out. She is truly someone who has been sent down from heaven to heal those who desperately need it.

The Dunes in East Hampton saved my life. It truly is a hidden gem. I actually didn’t want to leave! There was so many staff members there that helped me to get back on track to my number one goal, which is sobriety. I participated in so many different things that truly helped me focus on ME! I love it here at present I'm here at Phoenix House and it's not that bad...I came here from ACI in Brooklyn NY and the program suits me fine They feed you very well and the staff has been nothing but respectful and courteous to me The groups are informative and the director is a very straightforward no nonsense person They let us run our own groups sometimes and even tell our life story... I've been here 10 days today and I couldn't think of a better place to go... That's if you want a nice quiet way to recover...you can have a phone and even go online and do virtual meetings (AA/NA) now don't get me wrong it's not a perfect program but, what is...My point is what you put in you get out and alternately it's your recovery...So yes it has it's fault however overall it works if you work it... IT'S NOT FOR THOSE WHO WANT IT NOR THOSE WHO NEED IT BUT FOR THOSE WHO DO IT 🙏🙏🙏 Amen...

As with any treatment facility, your recovery depends on the work you put into it. My experience at Phoenix House was extremely helpful for me and overall was a positive experience. It is very easy to get distracted and focus on the downsides of the facility however I was taught (there) about changing my perspective and that made it easy for me to have acceptance and continue focusing on myself. I have been to many treatment centers in the past and have never had a counselor that cared or helped me as much as Michael Robinson did. The facility director Dave S. is great at what he does and from what I witnessed handled any/all issues fairly and promptly. Dave also ran groups which I found to be extremely informative and helpful. Special thanks to the chef Arthur who was extremely accommodating to my unique diet. An even bigger thank you to RSS Rob who in my opinion helped me just as much as Mike and Dave did. I will forever be grateful for my time spent at Phoenix House.

Was a patient here and than at Ronkonkoma years ago. I can't speak for how it is today but if it weren't for them I wouldn't be where I am today. If you don't want help you aren't going to be open to it so you can't fault the facility. But than again it's been about 15years since I was there so I don't know if it's still ran the same. I owe alot to the staff who was there when I was there. Especially londi.

Went there around 2013. I didn't stay clean after, but I didn't want to. They had a zero tolerance for drugs so the sober houses were actually clean and if someone used they'd be kicked out. The classes were long but not terrible. Ellen was great. Only thing was the sober house was in the HOOD HOOD where we had a crack dealer on our corner, prostitues 100ft away, and coke being sold out the barbershop lol.

My Mom had a wonderful experience at Stony Brook Eastern Long Island hospital! The care she received was exceptional! We were so impressed with how quick the response time was by the staff when the call button was pushed. The staff at every level was kind, caring, patient and professional. They went out of their way to make my Mom’s extended visit comfortable. Mom appreciated some of the staff’s humor and detailed explanations. My mother is legally blind and the staff went out of their way to help guide her with meals and walks with lots of detailed verbal cues. As you can see, Mom made the best of her stay ringing in the New year on 2North. I’ve been reflecting on how far I’ve come. Before entering this program, I was severely mentally ill. I wasn’t eating, I wasn’t leaving my house, I was having severe panic attacks, sleeping all day, and honestly hoping I wouldn’t wake up. I went into the program terrified. But it ended up changing my life. The program was incredible it felt like I was going to “mental health school.” I met people who were just like me. I made friends. For the first time in a long time, I felt like I truly belonged. The staff are absolute angels. They are some of the most wonderful, compassionate people I have ever met. You can tell this isn’t just a job to them they genuinely care about every single person who walks through their doors. I felt safe, heard, validated, and deeply cared for. They truly change lives, and I hope they continue doing this incredible work for many years to come. I was diagnosed with severe OCD while in the program, and they helped get me on the right medication, which completely changed my life for the better. Because of them, I’m now working and in college,I’ve gone on a plane to the other side of the world, and I finally have a life worth living. That is something I never thought I would be able to say. And a special shoutout to Robin she was truly the best. Her kindness, patience, and support meant more to me than I can put into words. I will forever be grateful for this program and the beautiful people who work there.

I've received great support from north well after suffering slight pyschiatric symptoms. Some of the staff I'd like to thank. They have assisted me in some capacity. Both the inpatient and outpatient provided outstanding care and help with my overall health, supporting my privacy and dignity throughout the whole process. Francesca iocono, Dr. Matthew's, Dr. Lee, Dr. McKeon, Heather, Jenna, Angela, Shannon from rec therapy, Dr. Delgado, smoking cessation aides, nurse Michelle, Carly, Janae, Melissa Morgan. Dr. Oduma and Amanda and John the pyschiatrist. I also give thanks for nurse Idina, nurse Steve, nurse dainelle, and nurse destiny. Ben, and all the laundry assistants Britney in house keeping. All these caring people have made me feel cared for in my rehabilitation. They do their jobs everyday with kindness and make all us patients feel cared for and supported!!

I really like this program and find it super helpful for my depression. The groups usually go by fast and have great prompts and different ways of thinking and very nice and knowledgeable people running it. They don’t make you share or participate if you don’t want to, my only critique would be they should probably call on people to participate and share ( and of course allow them the option to say no I don’t want to share) because most of us are willing to participate and just need to be prompted but will never volunteer on our own

My five star rating goes directly to the nursing staff at Stony Brook. Admitted after a serious car accident and multiple broken bones, I was admitted into ICU Late into the night. Maridely Delgado Was my intake nurse and she was so kind and Compassionate, and Was painstaking in Getting me comfortable and settled in With the least amount of pain possible. A Frightening experience for me was turned into one where I felt very well cared for, thanks to her. I also want to mention Tyler Laffey Who was my day nurse in ICU. He did everything to make me feel comfortable and took care of my every need. He was there at a moment moment’s notice. He was so knowledgeable and Answered any questions or concerns I or my family had. He was also very kind and understanding. Lastly , I would like to mention my pm step down ICU aide Rob. He was so attentive and always so kind. I never had to wait when I rang for assistance, and he periodically would check on me throughout his shift. Spent 2 nights there in cardiac care. EVERYONE was professional, attentive & friendly. The nurses & aides in my unit: Faina, Edna, Natacha, Aurora, Rachel & Marie, could not have been better. They made an unpleasant reason for being there less stressful or uncomfortable. They responded timely when I needed them, answered questions patiently and offered information & suggestions by anticipating my needs. The staff in the operating room were equal to them and Dr Jeffrey Le gave me every confidence in his abilities & was equally informative in speaking with my wife afterwards. I am so glad I was there for my treatment. They were all absolutely GREAT!

My mom was in the ER and then moved up to the Medical ICU all the doctors and nurses were wonderful I was always able to talk to a doctor they always called me or spoke to me at the hospital they were all so compassionate and caring they did everything they could for my mom unfortunately she did pass away at the hospital me and my family were able to spend time with my mom even after she passed away the doctors explained everything to me about her care and walked me through everything
