In 2001, I walked into St. Christopher’s Inn broken and lost in addiction. I’ve been sober ever since. Out of all the places I went, this was the place where it finally clicked for me. Their long term program and tough love approach were exactly what I needed no sugarcoating, no excuses, just real recovery and real accountability. If you’re truly tired of the life of drug abuse and genuinely want to change, I highly recommend St. Christopher’s Inn. The staff, the structure, and the brotherhood helped save my life. I still try to go back every summer for their annual picnic because that place will always mean something special to me. I owe them more than words can explain. God bless everyone there.

my sister has been at the Pines for about three weeks now. Definitely some superstars who need a big shout out. Chris, her nurse has been outstanding. Has gone way above and beyond trying to make sure that we make progress with her health. He even talked to me about her health after he was off the clock and heading out of the facility. I couldn't ask for anymore than what he has helped her with. Also the back up nurse for Chris. Was outstanding. Went over all of her medication with me. You could see that you really really cared about my sister. I'm not sure if her name but she was white in her early 30s with brown hair. The head dietitian I believe her name was Anne-Marie was outstanding. Went above and beyond to make sure all of my sisters dietary needs were taken care of down to the smallest detail. On several occasions, Debbie in activities was outstanding. Was doing everything she could to make my sisters visit as enjoyable as possible. The nurses on the fifth floor were all excellent and very helpful to me. Also, everyone at the Front reception was outstanding. Today there was a bad person when I was in there mistreating his girlfriend and the receptionist stepped up and told him he needed to leave the property. He was very unruly. She was very courageous and doing so❤️I know my sister was a handful so I appreciate everybody going above and beyond to have her try to make progress on her health. Thank you to everyone from the Pines❤️

Wanted to take a moment to dote on counselor Richelle Atkins. She has been instrumental in helping me change my life and work through my addiction. When you find someone like Richelle who is not just passionate about her job but truly cares for the people and community - that kind of dedication to the cause helps me to feel not so alone. Judgement has no place at Restorative and Richelle is a true reflection of that. I could tell her anything and she would only try and make it better for me or challenge me to think of how I can do better in the future. Even in the midst of her own personal struggles she shows up for her clients 100% each day. Thank you to Restorative Management and especially to Richelle for helping me get my life back - And the journey has just begun!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Hoving Home. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the love, peace, and purpose that fills the entire property. It’s truly a beautiful, serene place that creates a safe and healing environment for women seeking transformation. The staff is incredibly compassionate and dedicated, and the volunteers go above and beyond to support each woman’s journey. What really sets this program apart is the genuine sisterhood that is built—it’s not just for the time you’re there, but something that lasts a lifetime. The Hoving Home didn’t just help me—it completely changed me. Through their Christ-centered approach, I was reintroduced to Jesus in a deeply personal and meaningful way. That alone has impacted every area of my life for the better. If you or someone you love is struggling and needs help, I wholeheartedly encourage you to consider The Hoving Home. It is a place of true transformation, hope, and new beginnings. I am forever grateful for this ministry and all it has done for me.

10/10 the best rehabilitation/discipleship program. This place saved my life! Graduated in 2019 after being a homeless heroin/crack addict for years. This place gave me the space and time to grow a real relationship with Jesus. I had no hope and no self worth. Today I am 7 3/4 yrs clean from heroin and crack. I have a Salary and an apartment in Houston TX, happily married for 3 years. I also had been through many other programs before I came to the Hoving Home in Garrison NY. Do not let your excuses no matter what they are get in the way of giving yourself a chance. They are excuses. This is the opportunity of a real chance at a successful life. I’m forever grateful for all this place has to offer.

So far, so great! Recently came here as a new patient after my insurance changed and it was a great first experience. The big things for me with dental/medical are timing (wait times and actual time for the appointment/procedure) and vibes, and Family Dental checked both boxes big time. 5/5 on timing. There was only a short wait time, and the cleaning itself was also super efficient and thorough. Even thee X-rays were completed relatively quickly. 5/5 on the team. They are the friendliest! Kathleen (at reception) was so warm and welcoming, Erum (dental assistant) was so friendly, and Karen (dental hygienist) was a delight. I was a little down coming in between being tired and worrying about work and pretty quickly it was all smiles all around. Dr. Kim was super nice as well! Looking forward to having a positive place to come back to.

When i was there in 2018 it was very strict which most people cant complete theu get kicked out or relapse. The then director Andrea was a tough woman to trick or get one over on. Counselors come and go thst normal. Brian the house manager was also amazing and there for a long time. I heard its not the same its easy to get over on staff which isnt good for the people trying to get better. Id love to know to who the new director is. Also the house is amazing compared to like renwick house in newburgh.

Astor Services for Children and Families is an outpatient counseling center in Poughkeepsie, New York. Their High Fidelity Wraparound Program is actually one of several locations in the area. They have a wide range of mental health care here, including treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. Keep in mind, though, that they offer services for kids
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We truly hit the jackpot with Jasper at Astor. From the moment we met him, he has been incredibly kind, patient, understanding, and genuinely supportive. I was honestly getting to the point where I felt like giving up on Astor, and then we met Jasper. He took the time to listen, understand what we were going through, and made us feel like we finally had someone in our corner. That kind of compassion makes a huge difference to a family. Astor is very lucky to have Jasper. People like him are the reason families keep trying even when things get frustrating. We’re extremely grateful we crossed paths with him and can’t say enough good things about the way he has treated us. Five stars without hesitation!

My daughter has received services from Astor for the last 2-3 years. I have nothing but good things to say about the receptionists, staff, therapists, nurses and NPs. They have been a blessing to us! When my daughter does not have an appointment one week due to a holiday or whatever, someone will call to check on us. I really appreciate that. It is tough having interns as my daughter's therapists but they need to train somewhere. If your child has extreme difficulty with change then ask for someone that is consistent.
