There's a huge drug and alcohol issue on the residential floor. Even when given proof there were a million excuses as to why they didn't do anything about it. The justice center and the state were notified. The kids are a number and a dollar sign. It's sad because these facilities are supposed to help the kids and help families. It just gave us more things to work through such as a drug and alcohol addiction. The therapy provided isn't the proper therapy these kids need. They need accountability not a yes man. I am sure it's not easy working with childern whom suffer from behavioral issues but this facility does not have anything in place to help your kid. My child was doing amazing academically despite all of her behavioral issues and that went out the window once she got in with the crowd at MD. The resources available for childern with mental health issues are god awful and this place is one of them. Keep looking

I have been coming here since they opened. It's a very clean, new office. They have a lab on site and if you go in the A M they send your blood draw up to VA North Port and the lab work is ready the next day for your appointment at North Port VA.

Amazing Acute Reahab Center. They helped with my hip recovery and I always felt that they really cared about me. Hopefully I'll never need them again but would recommend them to anyone. Also the food is great!!!

Excellent rehab Hospital. I came here to rehab after my back surgery. Very professional! The PT and OT sessions really got me back on my feet. I had 3 hours a day while under the care of doctors and nurses. Everyone is very nice and cared about my welfare. I saw many hospital administrators who wanted to make sure I was happy with my rehab. Social worker was awesome. I even saw the VP of rehab medicine who I felt, was genuinely concerned for my comfort. I cannot say enough good things about this Rehab facility. The whole Catholic Health group is fabulous. The employees are to be happy working here. Even the food is great. I would definitely recommend this facility.

This place will cancel/reschedule every single appointment you will ever have here. Ridiculously unprofessional. Bounces you around from therapist to therapist, prescribing multiple medications at once without proper diagnoses. They will cancel your appt 30 minutes before. If i could give them 0 stars i would. This place is a literal disgrace i cannot believe that they are supposed to help another persons wellbeing

Everything about New Horizon is wonderful! I have been going to New Horizon for over a year and have always had a great experience. I completed treatment here with Gianna who is on the 3rd floor , I must say when I initially started I didn’t think I was going to get much out of it and I had A LOT going on in my personal life. Gianna was the breath of fresh air I needed, she was warm, welcoming and made me feel so comfortable talking to her and telling her what I’ve been dealing with. I went here years ago I was on C unit and F unit..It was 1994-1997 we went trips on Thursdays. Had the lions club throw Christmas parties. Harry legette and Jeannie Lavalle. Funny thing is I can remember every name from sagamore But highschool middle school forget it 😂.Not a bad place we were over medicated. And some of the patients were transferred to other hospitals like Brunswick and south oaks. Suffolk NY still has a lot of these places open..

Before choosing this place I read the reviews and I was scared but honestly I had limited options. I’m so grateful I came here. I was able to get taken care of and the groups were helpful. Horrible. My therapist, Delly yelled at me and another patient infront of the rest of the people for quote- “talking shit” because she insulted me while having a panic attack instead of helping. The staff have no control over the patients, there was multiple times I was almost STRANGLED and KILLED by a patient and they barely did anything. There is much more I could say about this place, but I don’t know the rules for what you can say in this. If you are considering going here, do not. And do not send your child here either. Thank you.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Seafield. It basically saved my life and has guided me to a much healthier and happier way of living. I have 1 year sober, and I give much credit to this facility for getting me so where I am today. From the West Hampton rehabilitation center, to the women’s sober house, to the outpatient counseling and meetings, it has been nothing short of wonderful and life changing. I have acquired so much from the amazing counseling and people that work here, the way you feel accepted and understood is profound. I have been going to the Samuel Field Y since I was 4 or 5!! I went for so many programs including the Basketball Buddies/Soccer Stars Program for individuals with autism. The Special Services program is such a great programs to get the kids motivated and try new things as a team. I love how they are a peanut-free facility! I even love the people that go there a lot too! Everyone welcomes you with open arms. And I feel so loved everytime I walk in that place. The Island Quest Day Camp is such a great camp to follow your quests at all costs!! If you know someone with a disability, I recommend this place because you will get extra support like I did.

I attended M.H. in July 1980 I was in group 5. My group was awesome It was a little scary run by nuns and being Lutheran and not a church person but I did it. Made friends there but lost contact with some but 1 friend we keep in touch through FB. M.H. was I place I needed at the time. You go to school so we wore uniforms no biggie. When I was there it wasn't a bad place I mean I missed my family but I needed help. I don't know what it's like now but it's what you put into it to make it work.
