But the front office staff could use some customer service skills training. My daughters school therapist whom is for Logan Hocking middle school found a suicide note in her book bag. That therapist told us to come to this location and get her seen immediately. Instead of the office staff doing so. They sent us on what would be a 4 hour journey to Athens then the plains Hopewell health centers. Then it was their lunch break in the plains and we had to wait an hour until they would talk to me. Not even my daughter. I believe the ball was dropped for her. She was in a crisis and cause of the front office staff she is just now being seen today for her first appointment a MONTH later. She is 12 and her wanting to kill herself required immediate attention and they failed at getting her that help that she desperately needed. That day to say I was Angry was an understatment. We were seen quickly, they were so patient and caring. She needed x-rays and they brought the x-ray to her, the techs were so sweet and gentle with her. The nurse asked if she wanted a pillow because she was sleeping on me (it was about 9-11 at night). The doctor was very thorough and reassuring. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. It was later at night and we decided it was best to go to the emergency room instead of waiting for urgent care to open next morning. When we walked in to the ER, I was questioning our decision to come here as there was no one in the waiting room and there was not a receptionist present. However, there was a check-in kiosk that was very easy to access. We were quickly called back and met with the sweetest staff. I was so impressed by their care and service! They were having a very eventful night in the ER when we arrived, but I always felt attended to. I was able to get X-rays and my arm was splinted. We arrived shortly before midnight and were heading back to our cabin by 1:30am. I had a follow up appointment with an orthopedic surgeon back home and was told they did a great job splinting the arm to protect my injury. Very thankful for the team here and all they do to serve the HH community. Dr. Green took care of me and she was so down to earth and sweet. Only 15 beds so you really can work on your recovery with the smaller groups. They will help you with your aftercare program and after you leave will always be there for you if you need them. I truly believe that if it wasn't for a compdrug I wouldn't be here today. Yes at first I did struggle to get clean because the methadone just wasn't enough. But I didn't give up and I kept coming every single day and within a few months the methadone started being enough and I didn't need fentanyl anymore. Throughout the years I have experienced nothing but kind, caring, compassionate service from the staff here. I truly do feel like the staff here cares about my sobriety. I have never regretted the decision to walk through those front doors at compdrug and today my life is absolutely amazing. I still feel like every single day continues to get better and better.
