I was at this place over 15 years ago back in ‘09. And I would recommend this place to any teen or young adult suffering from addiction. This place helped me in so many ways not just with my addiction but also mentally and spiritually. Chuckie was the best counselor there at the time she kept it real even when you didn’t want to hear it and she did not play she took her job very seriously. I was there, 2019, I was admitted for a DUI but had substance abuse of every way going before I arrived. Pam, Mac, and all the others helped me so much I am now almost 2 years sober and I'm planning my career into law enforcement or medical field. They helped me so much words can't describe. I would give anything to speak to any of the counselors, assistants, or teachers again. Even 2 years sober I miss every moment of being there, (although I strived to leave while there) the people who helped me, and the kids I was with, changed me forever. 5 stars to the facility. 5 stars to the staff. David and Chantal were by far my favorites, but in general it’s a great place to be at, legit! You’ll get people who are home sick but there’s always a staff like Von to talk to you if you’re feeling some type of way, but don’t get caught cussing in front of Andrea or your hands will hurt from writing. All love though no shade! 30-45 days isn’t that bad when you need to get your life on track!❤️

Spent a Thursday in the Trauma Center accomp
Aging a patient receiving care after ansuto accident. It was a first visit for both of us.
Staff were friendly and compassionate. Not at all rushed. They listened and answered questions. The care was professional and efficient. Pharmacies brought prescription to room before discharge. No complaints at all.
So why not five stars? The facility was showing it's age. Very few amenities to fill the long hours. There was no "call button" to summon aid if needed.

We had a wonderful experience at Geauga UH! Had our first baby here and everyone was so personable, kind, caring, and they explained everything so so well each and every time. I had many nurses and doctors but just to name a few that worked closely with me (Dr. Usis, RN Tracy, RN Megan, and Dr. Hartup). They were all amazing and took great care of me and were also very kind and accommodating to my husband as well. Highly recommend this phenomenal place.

I don’t understand all the negative reviews. I have been going to Willoughby for 5 years, weekly. Yes, there are some providers that I am not a fan of. BUT, they have always helped me find someone who was a better fit. The receptionists are great, the pharmacy is great, and they also take feedback about their groups seriously. There’s always going to be a few bad apples. But I credit signature and the providers I’ve worked with for saving my life. I really needed the help, and they helped me navigate that.

There is no place like home. This is a
resort to take time and clear away the buried wounds and unneeded past regrets of ones life. The new path of a day set out for with a positive reset of one's own destination for daily rejuvenation of peace ✌️ love and deeper true self. Food was good! Every nurse did a job that can lack care but kept the patients healing. at the top of the list. Truly I had a wonderful experience faced the wounds the demons. Let it Go. Fun for sure. Friends of true quality, Lasting memories. Find God and His joy. Peace that passes understanding. Also clean, music, art and physical therapy. Answer to prayer. Try it. Townhall 2 has been very helpful. During my classes they would always have child care available! At first I was very unsure. Today my child loves going to her "class" while mommy is in hers. I love pep. this was my roots. im 14, and an 8th grade graduate. Im omw to high school. I was in hopewell for 3 years and all i did was get mad and do whatever. when these teachers restrain you, its nothing personal. They are trying to make sure they keep the threat out of the picture and to stop you from doing something you might regret. When kids are angry at this school, they do things that can either harm theirselves, staff, or other students that are minding the business. Around the last year I got here, on the first day I had 2 teachers. Ms. Charles and Ms. Kennedy. At first Ms. Charles [SEL Intervention Specialist] I had a good vibe about her. For a long time, every time I get a new teacher I dont adjust well but these teachers were nice. They got kids of they own and they know that THIS SCHOOL is to teach kids that HAVE PROBLEMS the right things to do, unlike some teachers 🙄🙄. Ms. Charles and Ms. Kennedy has to be some of my favorite staff ive ever met. they match my vibe and they actually trying to help us. Staff in the school dont realize kids are very energetic in that school and have problems. But my teachers was always checking on me, making sure i was good, and i did my work. Ms. Kennedy actually the one who got me back on track and she had me do math to prep for highschool. i feel so lucky to have these teachers and all my past teachers at that school and i wont forget about any of them.

I came here all the way from New York, as I’m originally from Youngstown and needed to get away from my surroundings for a bit and have a hard reset.
Left treatment today and had a really nice experience here. The staff is super friendly and nice and have a lot of experience with addiction and treatment. As well, the counselors were all great and the groups were helpful.
Don’t come here if you expect to go on vacation or are simply in need of housing and are looking for a day spa that has a medical cabinet. Groups and H & I are a collective seven hours a day (morning, break, afternoon, break, evening) and attendance is expected.
All things said, made some friends, got about as sober as anyone could get in a month, and learned that I’m still apparently really very terrible at basketball. Would recommend.

The Staff at First Step Recovery are phenomenal. I've been in First Steps programs since Oct. Of 2024, and at each level of care I've had the best treatment from staff. I was in patient from detox to phase 1, and from there to IOP and beyond. And at each level I've come to care for the staff more and more, because they cared. And I'm stronger in my recovery more and more every day because of them.
