Hands down the best VA I’ve ever been to. Top Reasons: Service, Speed of Availability, Quality Care and Follow Up. My opinion is based upon other states Such as Central Texas and Southern California locations. Here in Oklahoma I was able to accomplish more as a Traveling Veteran in 1 month than I could ever have imagined in comparison to the other two states. When they say they look after their veterans they stand behind their words. I wasn’t pushed to the sidelines and told to wait weeks or months for the next available appointment. I went to this facility 2 times as a teenager. The last time I was there I stayed for 3 months. This place became like my home and it provided me structure and a community to get me ready for the real world. I had so many amazing staff that impacted me. When I’m having a really bad time in life I can think back on skills and just good advice people here gave me. My husband and I began attending (SOTS) “Southern Oklahoma Treatment.” However, they were shut down after about four years of treatment. Subsequently, we switched to RightWay Medical, and they have been incredibly helpful. There have been a few instances where they made mistakes. For instance, Carla, one of our former nurses, miscalculated my dose. At that time, I was taking 140 mg, but she gave me only about 100 mg. I usually can tell by the amount in the bottle and how long I’ve been on that dosage. I would check my bottles after receiving them, and they would be fuller than when Carla dosed me. So, I didn’t think to check my take-home doses at the time because they usually paid close attention. However, for some reason, she wasn’t paying attention that day. When I got home, I noticed that my bottle was almost empty. It wasn’t full like it should have been. When I contacted them, they informed me that it was already too late because I had already left the facility. I realized that I should have checked my dose before leaving. That was the first time my medication was messed up, and it’s only happened once since then. The only other issue I’ve had with them was a failed urine test. I had to undergo a drug screen, and it indicated that I had narcotics in my system when I knew I didn’t. I asked them to resend the test and investigate further because I was innocent and knew I hadn’t taken anything besides my Methadone. However, I was still in trouble and had to visit them daily for about three or three and a half weeks.

Im very happy to give this review .im a older woman and I found myself needing alot of help getting my life sorted out .I had no idea how I went to Hope and at first it wasnt going well .But I didn't give up on them.and they didn't give up on me Now im proud to say I was able to get my life back on track and im doing great I couldn't have done this with out the help of my team from Hope .I want to say to anyone needing help .be patient .hold your temper and give them a chance .they really want to help and will .dont give up on Hope or yourself

City rescue mission was definitely a blessing to be accepted in! What started out for my family as rock bottom became a firm foundation for my kids to grow! My case worker Mrs. Nakia was down right one of my favorites she literally heard my story seen my need and pointed me in the right direction! I’m forever grateful for the rescue mission being able to have time to restore my mental and get into a space where I was able to think as well as grow! This place helped me so much. I finally got diagnosed accurately, and put on medication that actually helps me so much! I loved the staff, and the doctors were also very nice. I met some cool patients as well, but of course that's the one down side is you will be around some angry and unpredictable patients. I got along with pretty much everyone personally. Definitely recommend this place if you're struggling with mental health! They are all so nice and patient!
