I feel so honored to be able to provide a review for the Banyan Treatment Centers. A family member of mine was fortunate enough to have experienced the Boca Rotan as well as the Sebring location programs. From the first encounter to completion, the staff were engaging, professional, knowledgeable, and super caring. I have never witnessed such support and honest caring as I have seen in this program. My Family Support Specialist, Keith Berger, still does follow-up on our family and always is responsive if we need anything or just encouragement. I never imagined that my family would ever need to utilize the treatment services that Banyan offers but I am extremely grateful to have had them be a resource for my family member and family.

I can only speak to my experience at Boca Recovery Center, and you get out of it what you put in. I did 15 days; 7 detox and 8 residential. My Therapist, Laura, was phenomenal. She was available whenever I needed to speak with her and was personable and professional. She wasn’t just checking things off a clip-board, she listened and asked questions that pertained to my situation. My case manager, Nicole, helped me by curating my rehabilitation to suit my needs. She spoke to me on a personal level and I never felt pressured into anything. We spoke about multiple options of recovery, and she worked with me to continue my sobriety on my return home by giving me therapists and meetings in my area. My Nurse Practitioner, Meresa, did not throw drugs at me just because, I have had that happen in the past. We spoke about recommendations of prescriptions and what to expect from them. Throughout my 15 days, we adjusted the medications and found a low dosage that worked for me. Nikki, the Alumni Coordinator has reached out to me several times, upon me returning home, to check on me. Weekly AA zoom meetings are available through her and they are organized and well led. This is very helpful for me and I appreciate that I have that, as a resource. The lead Tech, G, was available and a genuinely great guy. As were most of the Techs, some were just collecting a paycheck, but most cared and I respect that and them. This was not my first rehab, but the people I met and the conversations we had, really helped center me. I’m not religious and not particularly spiritual, and I never felt anyone pushing me to accept anything other than self reliance. Today marks my 30 days of sobriety, something I have not achieved with other rehab experiences, and I am grateful to Boca for paving the way. It falls on me to continue the path, but their help was tremendous in building me up to be able to be here today. The only thing I would criticize would be some of the group sessions were led by in-house therapists, nurses, and case managers. I would have preferred a third-party come in and lead the sessions so the in-house team could focus on their caseload. Overall 5 stars, if you need help with substance issues, please reach out to someone, anyone that you trust to help. Boca helped me.

Dr. Mike saved my life. Right after I turned 31, I experienced a manic episode for the first and only time in my life. Nobody knew why. Within the first five minutes of meeting me, Dr. Mike said, “I have a feeling your medication levels might be off, and the first thing you need to do is get tested.” He was right. I was taking a medication that requires occasional blood testing to ensure it stays within a therapeutic range. I didn’t know that and had never been tested. When the results came back, my level was below the therapeutic range. We met again, he adjusted the dose, and told me I should start feeling better in about five days. He was right about that too. That was almost five years ago, and I’ve been seeing him ever since. Not only is he the smartest psychiatrist I’ve ever worked with (and I’ve seen many over the years for depression, anxiety...the usual), but his staff are exceptional. If there’s ever an issue with meds or appointments or paperwork or questions, they respond and take care of it immediately. Dr. Mike combines clinical expertise with genuine care, and I can honestly say I don't know what would've happened to me if I hadn’t found him.

Best mental health providers I’ve tried in Palm Beach County. JFS has the nicest staff around and their doctors are very knowledgeable including their residents. I love Dr. H she’s the first doctor I felt has truly helped me. I love that my therapist and psychiatrist are able to communicate to create the best treatment plan instead of being in the dark like most places have been for me. Thank you so much I’m truly grateful for a facility that was able to help me when I couldn’t afford care anywhere else and it’s just amazing that they are also great people! Thank you all :)

I was very impressed with the staff at the reception desk and at the checkout counter. Dr. Graef was very thorough and gave me a full comprehensive exam. He spent time with me and reviewed every aspect of my current medical history. He was pleasant and I left the office feeling he would be able to resolve my medical issue. I had a great experience with Nessrene Doudar, MSN, FNP-C. She was courteous, professional, engaging, and took the time to thoroughly answer my questions. I especially appreciated that she was perceptive enough to raise a few things that I had not even considered, which demonstrated both her knowledge and attentiveness. She was efficient without ever making me feel rushed, and I felt heard throughout the appointment. It’s clear that she cares about her patients and strives to provide thoughtful, quality care. This place was terrific and im glad that i made the decision to come here to florida to do iop instead of going back home. This place is what i needed and everyone here and the staff were awesome and super helpful to me when i needed them. The only complaint I had was that when my clothes were washed, some items were bleached and turned pink. Other than that, I had a very positive experience. The staff were kind, accommodating, and made the detox process as comfortable as possible. They offered snacks throughout the day, chef-prepared meals, and even had a food truck available. Smoking and vaping were permitted, and the rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. Overall, I would recommend this facility to anyone seeking treatment. I would return if I ever needed to, although I’m grateful to have two years clean. I did have to return to treatment once due to insurance coverage and was transferred to Banyan.

Phenomenal place! All of the staff are very helpful and friendly. Anthony, client care coordinator is always checking in to make sure you are ok and if anything is needed, helps with a smile! Jason(therapist) is great, more in tuned than most I have seen. . Karen (EMDR) is gifted and am privileged to have been able to work with her. Magic Mike will blow your mind with his knowledge and things he can do. Food is good. Facility is clean. Beds on residential side are comfy.bon detox they are average. Such an amazing group! The only reason I gave 4 stars is this is not the place for residential treatment ....groups are aa ..lecture type no real interaction

My son was a patient two times. A year a half latet sober and thriving. The Family Program offered and facilitated by Miranda and Miss V is excellent. Both are very educated in addiction and how families need to educated so they can help their loved ones. Its a free therapy offered 4 times a week My son has been sober almost 2 years but I keep attending to learn and share strength and hope. First Step without a doubt saved my life. Today I have 2.5 years clean and sober due to the grace of God, the owner Gus, and all of the clinicians at First Step.
