I was scared after reading reviews on my way to er but I had a nice doctor who made me feel not scared,. and care a lot about me and my mental health even though we just met. maybe they hired new psychiatry? if you go to er ask for doctor gueruro I am probably misspell her name (she is tall, pretty, dark hair.) social worker was nice too and got me a appointment. thank you.

My Experience at the recovery center has been truly life-changing. Cat and the team have been extremely helpful. Also, Evergreen clinicians are knowledgeable, patient, and have played a significant part in my recovery. 5 stars!!!!

Dr. ABBAS My psychiatrist is amazing! He really investigates mental health very well!

I was a patient here 13 years ago, and still clean to this day. I am currently attending school to become an addiction counselor, and I couldn’t help but think about my out patient counselor from so many years ago :) This process was by far not easy, but I just had to come here and give high praise to my counselor Jim. I don’t know if he is still there but he was amazing and saved my life. He was kind and patient and relatable… the three things we all really need when getting ourselves and our lives back together during a difficult time. I was surprised to see so many negative reviews. my daughter just completed 4 months there and I can say her experience was not only pleasant but successful as well. they treated my daughter with respect and never said anything negative to her. if I thought for one minute that they were not doing anything to help her or if anything dodgy was going on I would have pulled her out immediately. the addition of family night was a great idea because it gives the families a chance to see what their loved one does at program. I was in serious trouble with alcohol and substance abuse not to long ago, so I finally decided to reach out for help and I have to say it has been the best thing that I ever did for myself thanks to NJRC. The entire staff is excellent from the front desk, the administrators to all of the Clinical therapists, Medical staff and Case Managers. If you are in trouble with alcohol, substance abuse and mental health, I would highly recommend NJRC to anyone looking for help.They will definitely give you the help that you need. This place is terrible. They just take your insurance money, make promises and offer no hope. My son had gone there several times for help and they keep him for a couple of days and send him home with a prescription that he will never take. They have the audacity to call me to talk about his treatment to then tell me that's there's nothing that they can do for him but that if I need help then I can reach them for services. Are you kidding me? What the actual hell is your job if you can't help him there how in God's name can you help out here? They drug them, play board games, give them crayons to color as if they were in kindergarten. My son still is suicidal and drug addicted and all they can tell me is that is out of their hands. They pretend to be sympathetic to their needs while telling them that they can't help. This place may look nice but it's just that. They do not care about their patients or the families that are affected by this. They really need to get shut down at this point. Don't waste your insurance on this place, you're better off treating them at home like I have to do. Shame on them.

My Brother was sent there on wrong assesment and then released but While i visited him .
I must warn everyone this place should be shut down
1. They need more ventillation for rooms Air Quality is bad as if no ciculation can cauae a panic attack in anyone normal. This not how you treat a patient or even an animal.
2. They give 30 min or 45 minute outdoor breaks.
This is not enough they need minimum 2 to 3 hours in a day with 2 breaks
3. They pump drugs into people and pressure them to taking them
If people take drugs their eyes change making them look psychotic.
Because of factor #1 and #2 it forces even a sane person for relief.
4. They give no therapy only a coloring book sheet and soduku sheet
This is ridiculous . The patients will lose their mind with little activity and outdoor access.
I never give a negative Review please take this serious. Patients are suffering
Please do not think its a review as.retribution because my brother is out of that place but their are others their suffering

I would like to share some thoughts about Mountainside and especially our sons recovery coach Christina.
Following his completion of a 28 day in-patient program with another provider he enrolled at Mountainside Chappaqua. He is in their Outside Patient and Recovery Coaching programs. Our son and Christina have been working together for about five months. They talk daily and meet weekly. A few weeks into the program Christina began doing weekly calls with my wife and me.
Our son works with various therapists, clinicians and other staff at Mountainside. He is complimentary of the entire organization and their contribution in helping him understand his addiction and providing recovery support. My wife and I only work with Christina.
Christina is EXCELLENT. She balances professional counseling, insight, accountability, great communication skills and timely follow-up. Having walked this life herself she is highly skilled and relatable but it’s never about her. Christina cares. She has built valued trust with all of is. My wife’s and my weekly calls provide an update on his progress and any open issues. She reminds us that he is accountable for his own recovery and keeps us in our lane. Most important she has helped keep our sons recovery moving positively forward day after day.

While there are always flaws no matter where you go, it's not a one-size-fits-all. I have personally witnessed for four years many people succeed who are committed to changing their lives.
Truth is you have to not only want it but also be willing to work for it. There comes a point in an addict's life where they will do anything to change their circumstances and patterns of behavior that led to their current state, and those are the clients that succeed at Odyssey, or anywhere else.

I was recently at Chilton for minor surgery, I can not say enough good things about my care. From the friendly smile from the receptionist , the helpful volunteer in admissions to the surgical team. They were all friendly, and helpful. I felt I was in good hands, having my surgery there was the right decision.

Mountainside has been one of the best treatment facilities that I have ever worked with. I would like to share some thoughts about Mountainside and especially our sons recovery coach Christina.
Following his completion of a 28 day in-patient program with another provider he enrolled at Mountainside Chappaqua. He is in their Outside Patient and Recovery Coaching programs. Our son and Christina have been working together for about five months. They talk daily and meet weekly. A few weeks into the program Christina began doing weekly calls with my wife and me.
Our son works with various therapists, clinicians and other staff at Mountainside. He is complimentary of the entire organization and their contribution in helping him understand his addiction and providing recovery support. My wife and I only work with Christina.
Christina is EXCELLENT. She balances professional counseling, insight, accountability, great communication skills and timely follow-up. Having walked this life herself she is highly skilled and relatable but it’s never about her. Christina cares. She has built valued trust with all of is. My wife’s and my weekly calls provide an update on his progress and any open issues. She reminds us that he is accountable for his own recovery and keeps us in our lane. Most important she has helped keep our sons recovery moving positively forward day after day.

I was so lost and giving up on life and a few good suggestions brought me here. Everyone from the friar in charge of the inn to security and maintenance made me feel welcome. The counselors are the best I’ve ever dealt with. My counselor was amazing, the physco therapist helped me realize things on my own and a former resident who is now staff related to my issues making me comfortable with the process. That guy was a godsend. These people helped me with my addiction issues more in 6 months then I’ve been able to do over the last 30 years. I now have hope and a blueprint that I follow to live a life in recovery. I could never thank them enough

Since then, I went to welding school, they set me up in a halfway house in NYC, moved back home to Rochester, NY. Seriously the best clinic ever! I recently switched due to moving and it’s the biggest regret I’ve had yet in my 8 years of sobriety. I had no idea how lucky I was going to MCAC. They truly love you and treat you with respect. I’d give anything to go back here over where I’m at now. Complete 180. I went from the best clinic to the worst and regret it. If you don’t have to leave here, don’t do it. If you’re looking to get clean, go here! I promise. If you’re willing to do the work, this place WILL help! I have 8 years of sobriety thanks to them. Scared for my sobriety at the new clinic.

The staff at MCAC is exceptional. From the intake process to the regular meetings with counselors, everyone is incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. The clinic’s counselors truly listen and work with patients to create individualized treatment plans. They are always available for guidance, and genuinely care about their patients progress. The nurses and medical staff ensure that dosing is properly managed, safely administered and adequate to sustain recovery. The medical staff is thorough and they check- in to monitor health and progress. Very easy to talk to and a guy who really cares about his clients recovery and would go the extra step to make you feel comfortable. I would also like to leave another 5 star review to the staff member who whe front window Mr Sadiq Rouses he is very pleasant person and a great guy to talk to he makes the morning very easy since he knows ever client by name he will never have to ask for your number he knows ever one by face and have you checked in and tell you what you need to do before you go to the window.. It's been a year later and MR Rouse is still the man if you come here try and request him if you can. He is a amazing counselor and person

I REALLY appreciate the kindness and compassion that literally greets you at the door... I've only been on the program for a couple of months and I haven't met any staff member or supportive staff member(i.e. nursing, admissions) that have not been respectful and helpful... Ms. Smith is so-oo down to earth and knowledgeable, she makes it easy to identify and address my issues...I'm so glad that I chose Lennard as the foundation for my recovery...
