Wonderful and understanding people here. The office workers, the counselor's are all great, especially Amber, my counselor. But my 2 favorite people in the building are Doctor Anderson and the addictions nurse, Karen. Them two have helped me with several other non addiction health issues. But I cannot say enough kind words to aptly describe just how awesome this collection of dedicated people who are easy to talk to and who also come from a place of understanding. You Rock A.C.A.S.A. I usually never write reviews but I have to say that my 2 year old son and I received the best care from Dr. Johnson and his nurse. Even the receptionist was amazing. The amount of attention and kindness I received from them was incredible. They reassured me that he wasn’t going to leave until things got under control and they did exactly that. They got him right back on track and we appreciate them so very much !

I had to find a new counselor after years of seeing one that I loved from Milestone in Hornell. I tried a couple others but ended up going to Steuben Mental health and thanks to a friends suggestion got in with a counselor there named Allison, she has been amazing and the entire staff are very pleasant. Should you need counseling services I would highly recommend them as they have a large collection of providers and can match you up very well. Truly a amazing experience to me and this coming from a man who has been in counseling for quite awhile.

St. Joes is an absolute paradise! Such a beautiful place to go and work on yourself. The staff are amazing and the treatment is so productive. They're pulling strings you may not realize to help you!! Thanks to St. Joes I've found me again. He was lost for a long time in the fog of a deep depression, masking that with substance use, I thought he was gone forever. Thank you guys so much for an opportunity to live again, not just exist. If you are struggling and need help, give them a call. They will pick you up and mark will call you everyday until they do to ask how you are doing! Best rehab I’ve ever been too….all the techs there are great second and third shift and most of them are in recovery… there were many times I felt like I wasn’t going to make it when I left there and couldn’t sleep at night and tech Michaela on 3rd shift was always super helpful sharing her story with people…. I was able to relate to her so much because we have all been through similar things and I appreciate her talking to me all night and helping me whenever I needed it she really goes out of her way and isn’t there just for the money!! It really helped me stay sober shout out to Michaela!! Best tech on night shift

The staff and place are equally beautiful. The good hearted people always checked on my personal needs multiple times a day. The staff becomes your family. A staff member named Eric one night at 3am talked with me telling me his inspirational story and it helped me to feel better and keep going myself. The food is always good. Friday is all you can eat wings!!! This place helped me to love myself and recover who I am as a man not just from addiction. My experience was it was a very decent facility.The staff seems to really care. I had a amazing counselor casssandra weaver that lady believed in me and really had legitimate concern for her work load as well as other people’s case load.she restored my belief in humanity.I don’t talk to her as often as I would like but she always made time when and if I needed it.Being African American and her occasion I Thought I would face racism Total opposite.wherever her and her cat Missy are God bless her soul professionalism Along with the QUEEN WHO RUNS THE PLACE LACY WHO FIGHTS FOR US HER AND DAVE BEHIND THE SCENES.THE FOOD WAS OKAY.CP

I have been with unity chemical dependency for a while now. All of the staff in outpatient and the majority of staff in inpatient are compassionate and were essential for my recovery. My outpatient therapist is always ready to listen and give incredible support and resources. I don't think I would be in recovery if it weren't for my therapist, Sam. My life has been saved. I have improved my quality of life, as well as my relationships. I highly recommend unity chemical dependency for those who struggle with addiction. If you are committed to changing your life, this program and staff will do everything to support you.
