I’ve had five therapists here in four years because they quit. I was on a waitlist for about ten months to see my current therapist, Julia, but she is honestly the best therapist I’ve ever had. And the the classes are great especially the Anger Management Class check it out angela weston 3 years ago I liked it about as much as one CAN like a drug/alcohol rehabilitation.. Ken, a councillor there, made it completely bearable; as he is kind, soft-spoken, and understanding. So much so, that in fact, I continue to go there for counseling even AFTER my court-order was completed... I need to make it clear though, that I never attended "rehab" (for drug use/detox) there; I have already been involved in the NA program, and as I stated before, I was only there to resolve and "satisfy" the conditions of my probation... Dr. Garg, is also understanding, and willing to prescribe medication to addicts, so long as they don't "spook" him... Regardless of that situation though; Dr. Nick S Garg is an awesome psychiatrist, who takes the time to really get to know the patient; or at least, that's what it is like for me there. :) Sir Thomas (Tom) 5 years ago	2

Upon arrival I was welcomed by Melissa with open arms and a huge smile that made me want to stay instead of run away like most. Most Techs are great even knowing they are 1/2 my age. The ones that stand out most as super stars are Jeff N, Terrance. Darrell and Matt. Therapist super stars are Jamie. Alexis and Matt. I am extremely happy with my choice and am sober and loving life. And she was so patient and calm n it drove me nuts. Until one day, I walked into her office and said im ready. And from that chair in her office I left for rehab right away thanks to a combined effort of the staff, Will a former employee but mainly through her approach over months. I've had several wonderful things happen since then but most importantly I finally won my 3 year battle with CPS and gained joint custody of my son back. Now, don't get it twisted, I am far from a shiney happy person now. I've got major struggles right now but ever since that day she can't get rid of me off her caseload. Mainly because secretly im her favorite.😄 but i won't let them switch me because Susan really does care about her clients and I am sure of it for many reasons. If Susan isn't you're counselor you're missing out. And because of her this center gets a 5 star 🌟 rating from me. Which, btw, NEVER happens. I was not planning on continuing treatment in New Jersey, but the director of the program came and talked to me in detox and explained the benefits and calmed my anxiety about the whole process. He told me about the women's house manager, Val, and he said there is no one else he would recommend to take care of his clients. He said that if he could send everyone to live under Val, he would. I am happy to say that even that was an understatement for Val. Big personality, big passion for recovery and so much love for her girls. From the day I stepped onto Val's doorstep, I felt welcomed, valued and truly cared for. From the beginning she displayed confidence in me and a real desire for me to be there. Val is the reason that house is a home, and for a woman like me, who literally lost everything this year, that made a world of difference. The unity and sisterhood I experienced at sobriety solutions sober living reminded me that connection is the antidote to addiction. Thank you Val, and Mike, and all of sobriety solutions staff! You carried me through a very difficult time, away from my family and in a delicate emotional state. I am happy to add one more to it! Ownership is amazing, and every staff member gets to know every client on a personal level. The center itself is a wonderful property. My counselor Chris is extremely relatable, knowledgeable, and helpful. Bill makes groups fun and impactful. Angie and Pam bring years of inpatient experience to this outpatient experience. Pam’s art therapy breaks up the weeks with fun activities and Megan’s compassion and insight makes you feel comfortable about opening up. Probably my favorite group of the week is the last one on Fridays where Pastor Jay has everyone on the edge of their seat while roaring with laughter. All this creates an amazing community with the sober living being by far best experience in such I have ever had. PRC is an absolute 10/10! The chef made incredible food for every meal and stocked the fridge every day with fresh food that we could eat at anytime as well. They also kept the freezer stocked with ice cream and water ice. The facility is cozy and kept very clean. There is a smart tv in every room as well as in the lounge/common area which is set up like a living room. I found the groups helpful. There are 3 hour long groups you can attend but don’t have to and either an AA or NA speakers that comes every night for an hour long meeting. I liked that Sunrise is a smaller facility, having room for about 20 patients. This made it easier to open up and share. You are able to go outside for fresh air or to smoke anytime except during group time. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Sunrise Detox. Thank you to all the staff! You all are amazing!! Never been to detox before but the people who work there actually care about you and want you to get better. It only works if you are ready though. The food was amazing everyday, the counselors are there to help you, and the doctors/nurses want what’s best for you. I will 100% be going back there one day to speak to the patients to show them that recovery is possible. They also help you with finding resources after being discharged. I was recommended tk a doctor for the sublocade shot and had it done within two weeks of leaving sunrise. It’s a smaller operation but I found it to be better.
