I would recommend to any body to Faith Home wonderful God fearing, God loving people all staff, Keith, Jodie, Lily, are the most loving down to Earth people and love everyone of us, took very good care of us, kept us in the word, kept us where we should be, I luv this program, if I didn't have a home I would have stayed there, luv u Keith,Jodie,Lily, Krystal, Alice,Natalie,Kimberly, Michelle! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!
The Oaks is where life begins anew. I went to the Oaks after drinking and more. How I got there is a story in its self. What I encountered at the Oaks was unbelievable. People who understood me and my problems. Then I was handed the book and my life changed. After my time there I’ve helped a few men myself get there lives back the same way. Once you learn the program you’ll have a better understanding of how to handle life.
Since leaving the Oaks I’ve had many many great days. I’ve had meaningful relationships with people. I may have left my drinking buddies behind but I’ve gained some real friends.
If you’re in need of help or someone you know does consider the Oaks because it worked for me when I thought nothing would.

Oaks Recovery saved my life and my marriage! My husband went to The Oaks in September 2024 and I followed him to Willow House 2 months later. Seeing my husband be restored through working his program at Oaks Recovery I wanted what he had and I knew where to find it. Oaks Recovery is a SOLUTION based treatment center for substance and alcohol abuse! Beyond that The Oaks has definitely become family and home to us. My husband is 6 months clean and I am 4 months and counting. The staff is phenomenal! WOW!!! What a wonderfully blessed place.. a special place; that as soon as u pull into the driveway , the Presence Of God just envelopes U!! This place & This woman: Stacey Carroll, are both miracles. The much needed structure is within their daily schedule, the term "downtime" isn't an option. The program is packed with classes equivalent to course studies, the Biblical Teachers are knowledgeable with an understanding if the Bible, the atmosphere is one of "kindred spirits".. like that of king David & Jonathon.. or Ruth & Naomi. What is said here, stays here. Stacey Carroll is one the most pure hearted women of God I have ever had the honor to be around. She walks it.. like she talks it!! Backs it up daily, she was more than a role model or an example to me.. she has & is a "big sister" to me. I am an Alumni of Shalom. I stayed at the " farm:" for 9 months, then to the Shalom halfway house until my Motherb had a 2nd massive stroke that killed her swallowing reflexes.. Jesus took her home 1 week to the date of the 2nd stroke... Had I been out there using atthe time of hrb stroke & passing..I know I would inintenionally overedosed.

This place is absolutely amazing and if ur struggling to get better absolutely 100% CALL THEM!!! Ms. Tami is an amazing soul with god all over her as do the rest of the staff and woman here. They can change ur life if you’re ready! They surrounded me with love and god and I’ve never seen such an amazing program. Just call!
I have been going here since 2012, because I choose too. You don't have to go as long as myself, you go AT YOUR OWN PACE, WHATEVER IS BEST FOR YOU. My counselor Lisa is awesome. Jazzy is the best director that place has had also. If you are in the place in your life where you need to go to a treement center, this is a good one.

A great place,staff and wonderful doctor and I couldn’t ask for anything more, the doctor, counselor, receptionist, nurse, and anyone else I’ve forgotten (but not really forgotten !) make this place more welcoming than I can express …. They are more kind and considerate than you could possibly imagine and I would recommend this facility to anybody wanting to make a change and change directions, in your own crossroad. I could not be more grateful for the care I received here. The staff are amazing and will make sure that you are always comfortable. You will be respected, heard, and treated with dignity. You won't be dismissed, all your questions will be answered. Be completely honest so that you can receive the exact care that you need. You could not ask for better accomodations or understanding. The environment is immediately welcoming. Its quiet, peaceful. They have everything you need, you really just need clothing. (Its a bit chilly, bring hoodies and fuzzy socks) There are even laundry facilities. You will be provided with a vape or nicotine patches if you use nicotine products. You may rest as much as you need, the staff will let you sleep through the night, vitals are during the day. You can call your family, except for during group meetings. No visitors, but the stay is short. The counselors and peer support specialists are very honest, open, and eager to help you with your personal journey, without being pushy or making you feel rushed. Whether faith based or evidence based care is right for you, that is your choice. There are options for both approaches!
The idea of group meetings was terrifying for me, an introvert, an addict full of shame and guilt. You are not obligated to contribute, that was reassuring. But I was surprised at myself for wanting to contribute and engage. It was a bit sad leaving. While here, I was not just a junkie, just an alcoholic, a lost cause, all of the negative adjectives I used to describe myself. I wasn't the things my family called me. I wasn't an echo of the childhood I lost. I wasn't an empty, lonely vessel on autopilot. I was a person. A human. Im more than my story, but sharing our perspectives and caring for each other felt like being part of a family. A family where you aren't the black sheep. It was almost overwhelming to feel that kind of support and HOPE. Ill be honest; When I came in, i wasn't ready to get help. The timing was just right. But very quickly that changed. They made me want to be better. Not for recognition or pats on the back. Not for attention or brownie points. They made me want it because they made me see I deserve it, I deserve to live a good life and be happy. If you are thinking about making some changes, please come here. What do you have to lose?

My son went through the program and has truly benefited from it, from start to finish. Even though he will always be an addict, he will also, always be connected to the people that came along side him through this amazing program, I can not say enough good about everyone I personally met there, from the staff, to the recovered on staff and the clients. I am so very thankful for everything you do in your program from start to end. It has been a game changer for my son who has battled addiction for a few years. I see the spark back in his eyes and a joy and excitement towards his future you’ve given him the tools to be successful. You’ve given him the tools to cope, but most of all you’ve given him hope towards his future. He’s halfway through the program and has nothing but great things to say thank you so very much. I honestly would of gave it a 5 star. But a couple of staff were not nice to me. It was mostly night shift. One made fun of me Stimming and i have Autism. She laughed at me stimming on my tippy toes. Jenesia a tech is very rude. Told me i couldn’t go on my tippy toes. That its not allowed, but thats my way of coping/stimming. That i needed a doctor’s order. Which i didn’t i talked to the doctor. I understand the reason why they have to keep the doors open all night. But they could of at least dimmed the lights. It kept going in my eyes and waking me up. I didnt get much sleep being there. That doesn’t help me with my physical conditions.
Now for the compliments. Unit 2 overall is such a good unit. I did get treated like a human being I felt safe, and supported. Not like the other ones i have been to that made me feel horrible like we weren’t human beings. Dr.Feldman Lance, now hes the best doctor I have had in any mental health facility. He actually listens to u(if ur not mean or give attitude) and he gets things done. He is also so sweet and very nice, and understanding. I don’t like talking alone to males but with him I was ok. He is nice and gave a nice vibe! Megan the tech is another great staff member! She made me feel safe while I was there. I could talk to her about anything! She was just there! Shes so nice too. Then there is Abby another tech. Shes super nice as well! She helped me calm down . She let me keep stimming on my tippy toes even when other staff said i couldn’t. That made me cry and get upset because they said I couldn’t. But she calmed me down! She is a really good one. And then there is Kenzie the therapist. She was very nice! She cared alot! She listened and helped me understand what I was confused about. She was so sweet! Then there was a group therapist named Kathleen. Oh boy she helped so much! I loved attending her groups when i could of. I am actually going to take what she told us and work on it in my therapy sessions! She made sure everyone got there questions asked. She was really nice because the group room door slams, and I get overwhelmed with that. She made sure it didn’t slam. But overall I would definitely recommend this facility! Now it is different experiences for everyone!

I was referred to Jones Behavioral Health by a family friend and had the pleasure of being paired with Janiah. She is an amazing therapist who truly encourages thoughtful reflection on life and personal choices. She will laugh with you, she will cry with you and guide you on your healing journey. I was scrolling the web and I always check the reviews of places I have physically been seen at. I'm a single father now and i havent been able to post as much as i'd like. When I saw some of the comments they really well....pissed me off. Dr Craddock is one of the most caring DR/Pshyciatrist i have encountered in my recovery. I started in 2008 in Seneca,SC and quickly moved to Recovery Concepts with Dr Craddock. Just to put it all plainly. There was never a time anything was offered to me that i didnt have to take the assesment for or bring up first. He never said try these THATS BULL. They don't just hand out any medications if they are deemed nessicary and you bring them up the administer an assesment on you and you may or may not have ADHD or anxiety. I in fact do have and will always have SUD, anxiety and adult ADHD. I will say it again for those in the back. He is a great DR/Pshciatrisrt but they dont make you take the medication and they certainlly dont bring it up. Hope this clears the BS away from him.

I struggled with addiction for 20+ years. Thanks to southwest Carolina treatment center I’ve been clean for 4 years. Everyone at the clinic is nice. Sterling is down to earth and easy to talk to. He cares about the people he works with. He genuinely wants to know how you are doing. Everyone at the clinic is very helpful ,hopeful, and I get to feeling that they genuinely care about helping curve addiction in our community. 10/26/25 still using this same clinic, sterling is no longer there . Vick is my counselor now and he's awesome. He doesn't rush and takes the time to talk with me for as long as I need . This place saved my life literally. If you need help and have been unsuccessful at treatment several times please do yourself a favor and get to a clinic who offers out patient therapy.

My treatment plan through SWCTC saved my life. I'd never heard of methadone and a friend told me about it. I was in denial and had spent so much money and time finding drugs. My whole existence depended on getting my pills. I wanted to stop and prayed for a way. I've been clean for 22 years now. Glad to say I am 26 days clean from alcohol and this place helped amazingly with that. The night nurse Matt is amazing with what he does and how he coaches / teaches you while you’re there, Very informative and through guy.

The staff is great. Mrs. Sheryl is always helpful, Reggie is running that place just right. And my counselor is very professional and considerate of my needs. Tiffany and Elise are very good at there job. They get you right in and out. They have changed my life for the better in just a few days. I will recommend this Christian facility to everyone! There is a family & home type atmosphere that melts even the toughest heart. I learned so much to use in our ministry & God continues to abide with me & teach me new things daily. Penfield uses knowledge, education, personal experiences, fun, day to day work ethics while encouraging personal pride in oneself. I was amazed at the chemical products made available to our young & older alike. Chemical dependency comes in many forms. Social media, mental indiscretions, and so many things sway us today that I feel Penfield helps me understand it from a personal point of view. We attempt to reach out in a good way to those in need & I use so much of the written classroom lessons. But, it has taken me aback at how easily the world can pull us back down.
