The Oaks is where life begins anew. I went to the Oaks after drinking and more. How I got there is a story in its self. What I encountered at the Oaks was unbelievable. People who understood me and my problems. Then I was handed the book and my life changed. After my time there I’ve helped a few men myself get there lives back the same way. Once you learn the program you’ll have a better understanding of how to handle life.
Since leaving the Oaks I’ve had many many great days. I’ve had meaningful relationships with people. I may have left my drinking buddies behind but I’ve gained some real friends.

Absolutely recommend this treatment facility, staff was amazing, never ate a bad meal, and feel like I got what I have been searching for for the past 20 years. Oaks Recovery saved my life and my marriage! My husband went to The Oaks in September 2024 and I followed him to Willow House 2 months later. Seeing my husband be restored through working his program at Oaks Recovery I wanted what he had and I knew where to find it. I can say with absolute certainty this place and the men who lead here saved my brothers life. We as his family quite literally had lost all faith he would make it off the streets alive. Honestly, almost every time I spoke with my mother I was preparing her ac little at a time for him to end up dead. So when I say him sober and having light behind his eyes again is the biggest miracle God has ever given us and He gave it to us thru this recovery center so from the bottom of my heart I thank God and all of you who support those hopeless lost souls on their journey to finding them selves again.

I had a great experience here but I chipped my veneer eating overcooked chicken tenders. I wrote a grievance and mgmt or legal came to talk to me about it and I am waiting to follow up. I have to get my entire veneer replaced bc the chicken was so hard it chipped my tooth in half! Other than that, I had a lovely time other than the first 24 hours when they had me on the wrong unit (unit 2) which didn’t seem to care how hard I was detoxing off of alcohol, opiates and benzodiazepines… I basically rolled around in bed for the first 24 hours, the entire first night I almost went insane with the shakes, cold sweats, sleeplessness, restless legs and other flu like symptoms x100 with no help and I didn’t see a doctor until 1pm the next day! They did eventually get me moved over to the proper unit (unit 8) where they were more attuned to my needs and that made the world of a difference!!! I will forever and always recommend this place to anyone who struggles with mental illness crises or addictions and need to detox!!! Xoxxo

I was scrolling the web and I always check the reviews of places I have physically been seen at. I'm a single father now and i havent been able to post as much as i'd like. When I saw some of the comments they really well....pissed me off. Dr Craddock is one of the most caring DR/Pshyciatrist i have encountered in my recovery. I started in 2008 in Seneca,SC and quickly moved to Recovery Concepts with Dr Craddock. Just to put it all plainly. There was never a time anything was offered to me that i didnt have to take the assesment for or bring up first. He never said try these THATS BULL. They don't just hand out any medications if they are deemed nessicary and you bring them up the administer an assesment on you and you may or may not have ADHD or anxiety. I in fact do have and will always have SUD, anxiety and adult ADHD. I will say it again for those in the back. He is a great DR/Pshciatrisrt but they dont make you take the medication and they certainlly dont bring it up. Hope this clears the BS away from him.

My treatment plan through SWCTC saved my life. I'd never heard of methadone and a friend told me about it. I was in denial and had spent so much money and time finding drugs. My whole existence depended on getting my pills. I wanted to stop and prayed for a way. I've been clean for 22 years now. They are friendly people that work there. They work with you on things you don't want. I have been there for 12 years have not wanted to change clinics. They help you with counseling every month and they are nice. Tish has been my counselor for a long time she has been my favorite so far. So has been such a help with talking about things.

I recommend this rehab facility to anybody who is struggling with addiction has changed my life forever because not only is it a rehab but it teaches you about the Bible and you learn how to live with God leading your life has changed my life tremendously I would have never traded that experience for anything. It was the best decision I've ever made in my life.

One of the most memorable experiences I have ever had in rehab. Yes it's hard sometimes. You have to work. But it's so worth it. I have a lot of good memories about this place and the people I met here. I miss it. Would definitely recommend to anyone trying to stay sober.

I personally have never been to Serenity place but my niece stayed for 11 months there. She came home and was sober for over a year. She was also able to have her son there with her. She speaks highly of Serenity Place and the help she received there.

These people care about you, and you can feel that even if you came here court-ordered. This is a good place to get help, I go to weekly sessions and I look forward to them every week. Getting clean is extremely hard but they made it extremely easy

The staff is great. Mrs. Sheryl is always helpful, Reggie is running that place just right. And my counselor is very professional and considerate of my needs. Tiffany and Elise are very good at there job. They get you right in and out. They have changed my life for the better in just a few days.
