Brian's Safehouse saved my life, hands down. I read a review stating that the treatment was ineffective, that was not my experience at all. Going to BSH is the most important decision I've ever made. Everything I lost in my addiction has been restored in just a few short years. I'm so thankful for the dedicated and attentive staff at BSH, who made me feel so welcome and loved from the day I arrived on campus. I tried several 30-day treatment programs in my home state of NC, but they did not work for me. I needed more help. The year long program, as hard as it was to commit to at the time, was just what I needed. A life mired in addiction is a hopeless existence if you're not willing to do anything about it. The outcomes are three as I see it: jail, death, or recovery. The decision is simple as look back on it. BSH can change the trajectory of your life, it did mine!

My son has been sober now for 8 years. Brian’s Safehouse changed him from a drug fiend to a tax-paying, loving man with a wonderful family. Within the past year I have received VA benefits for a service related disability. I began going to the Beckley VA Hospital soon afterwards.
Before receiving my benefits I had always used private insurance and seen private Doctors with mixed results and experiences.
I also have friends and relatives that are veterans living in other states that have had bad experiences with VA clinics and Hospitals where they live.
I am writing this review from my heart to let as many people as I can to know the Hospital staff here are the best people I have ever dealt with when it comes to healthcare. I’ve never had a bad experience. The Nurses, Doctors, Staff personnel and all other employees are hands-down the absolute best I’ve ever had to deal with. Whenever I call or visit them I know I’m going to be given the absolute best care I can get anywhere!

I spent 30 days here for detox and residential. The facility is clean, well run, and the programs are highly educational. What really makes CCR fantastic is the staff. Everyone is so kind, helpful, and understanding. 99% of them are in recovery themselves and can relate to our experiences. They honestly want us to succeed and love us for who we are.

Southeastern is a great place to find help and reset your life. It is not a flashy place with fountains and high priced artwork on the wall. It is a down to earth, real world facility with motivated and dedicated staff. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and there to help. They are honest.
If you want help, the therapists will go to the extra mile to get you what you need, both mentally and physically. Rhett was my primary and I appreciate all the time he put in to help me understand myself. He was able to work through all the noise and build me back up. The group sessions were good, but the one-on-one sessions were key to helping me build my toolbox to stop the cycle.

Worst place to receive help. Dr Bez is one of the most unhelpful medical professionals i’ve ever met. The only solution he has is one medicine and upping the dose until you’re numb. Never gonna live a good life seeing these people. Not to mention if you call them and try to set up an appointment because you work full time, they won’t let you because you missed one appointment even with a notice.

These people saved me! From the doctors, nurses, and counselors. To even the office manager and receptionist. These people really care! They don’t treat you like less of a person because of your “situation” they are respectful and professional. Honestly, if more treatment centers would follow the lead of this one. I probably would have gotten help 10 years ago. If you are 110 percent serious about getting help. And you choose to go the maintenance route. This is the place! I never would have made it if the staff wasn’t as supportive as they are. So thank you to everyone there! They listened to me when absolutely no body else would! They didn’t judge me when absolutely everyone else did! they were kind to me, when no one else was! And they had faith in me, when even I had no faith in myself!

I’ve been going here for a little over 2 years I’m pretty sure I’ve been seeing McDaniels for 4. In the beginning of us going here my husband struggled with sobriety. I always felt comfortable talking to Becky about any of my concerns when it came to him. She knew I just wanted him to be sober with me. They never gave up on him & now he’s going on 2 years sober. The staff where very understanding and alot of people dont understand they cant break there rules or they get fired they are they to watch over u and make sure your not harming yourself or somone else. They are not therapist. So they are not there to listen to your problems. I was there for a month straight and watched how they treated people. And no if you sign yourself in there is certain criteria u have to meet before u go home. And if said person was to read the paperwork they would be aware of that. You get fed, showers,clothes and help. So to leave bad reviews when half of the people came from worse situations if un needed

I came from Loudoun County, Virginia, the wealthiest county in the United States. NRVCS is LIGHTYEARS beyond what Loudoun County offers. I probably can't even get into much detail, but mostly just, probably the opposite of what most people end up receiving in most other places, from level of care and attention, to excellent, helpful, LOGICAL, respectful, resourceful, dedicated, personalized experts in virtually any social services arena. Amazing, competent, caring and thorough staff, I personally cannot thank this place enough. NRVCS has helped me change my life around in a very efficient matter. They don't do "cookie- cutter" help. They help on so many levels on virtually any issues you could imagine. NRVCS should serve as an example to the entire nation on how to use community resources to ACTUALLY help people. I cannot recommend or thank them enough.

I used to receive services here for my mental health issues. I had Nancy and she was amazing. She was right on dosages and when needing to swap medications. Everyone does well at the Welch Clinic. I now work at the Welch Clinic and I love it. They have great teamwork there.

This plce truly saved my life, i went there for substances other thwn alcohol, at times it can feel like being in high school all over again but at th3 end of the day it just works as long as youre willing to do the work, the staff goes above and beyond and out if their way to help you. The staff is truly amazing and caring and they know how youre feeling as theyve been thru what youre goin thru personally, they will give u the shirt off of their backs, they teach u all of the tools and the skills needed to stay clean and sober, i unfortunstely walked oit aboit a week ahead of time due to my own stupidity but thank god i have 44 days as of the time im writing this.. if god forbid i messed up and got off track and reqlized i needed help asap Harmony Ridge would be the absolute first place i contact, thank you all for helping save me *Barboursville Location*
