NIRC has helped me in countless ways and I owe a lot to them for helping me get where I am today. The staff is amazing, they will do anything in their power to support you in recovery and go out of their way to help in anyway they can; they truly want to see you succeed and helped me be sober for 4 years. Groups are helpful in that you are able to be vulnerable and get so much information to help get you through any situation - the therapists are there to help walk you through at any stage of your recovery. Clients are more than supportive and understand what we are all going through; they want to help not only themselves but everyone around them. NIRC is like a little family and with all the help we get, we can all make it through the challenging times.

It's all in the name "Recovery home". . Rosecrance recovery home is one of the smartest decisions I've ever made. Woodstock is one of the cleanest buildings I've ever been in. If staying sober is your goal, this place is second to none. There may be a lot of rules but nothing out of control. The rules are quite simple by comparison to having a lifestyle that was out of control. Everybody here is very helpful as far as the staff goes. Not to mention the intelligence of some of the staff is amazing. Life skills are very important. Rosecrance recovery home put you on a healthy path for everyday living. Woodstock recovery home is run by caring attentive staff. The homes are beautiful and kept nice and clean. Anyone looking to establish a network of good people in the sober community should consider this program. I had the pleasure of touring the facility with Jim walleck. It's clear that he REALLY cares about the kids and about providing the best staff and resources for everyone! the grounds are huge, and have so much to offer. the staff gets their hands dirty playing w the kids and getting down to their level. I saw nothing but smiling faces in the hours I spent there and would definitely recommend allendale to those in need.

I went to tour both day centers, It truly was special to see so many caregivers smiling and laughing with the students. It was pretty obvious they love their job and the people that they care for. I wish that were the case every where, but sadly its not. The day center students do several activities each day, they get to choose which activities they want. I witnessed a woods class, they were making bird houses, there are Art rooms, music areas, library, therapeutic rooms, sensory rooms, classrooms and lockers, trails outside and more... The halls and classrooms are decorated with the students art work. All of the students were friendly in greeting me, smiling, and even doing pranks on staff since it was April 1st. I honestly had not laughed that hard in so long I cannot remember the last time. It was fun to do the tours and meet staff, see everyone in action. Thank you Matthias Academy staff, volunteers, students and residents for making me feel welcome!

A fantastic facility, I would recommend to anyone seeking mental health guidance and support. The staff are top-notch; caring, attentive, and knowledgeable. If one person is not a good fit, they will help match you with another. Adjustments in schedule, medication needs, and overall communication are amazing. The only service i utilize here is my therapist. But I can honestly say she's one of the best therapists I've ever had. So much that I've been with her for many years. I had too many issues with therapists at other places. The people at the main desk are really great, kind, and helpful. I always recommend here for those looking for a therapist and/or psychiatrist.
