I was struggling with my alcohol use and going into treatment with NIRC changed my life! The staff, techs, facilitators and therapists are incredibly supportive and knowledgeable with many of them having real life experience giving them a place of empathy and advocacy to serve from. In-patient housing, outpatient PHP and IOP options allowed me a platform to move through early recovery at my own pace. The group therapy offerings allowed more personalized options for topics that applied to me individually. Individual therapy helped me to work through to the root issues underlying my addiction through self-directed mentoring, alternative methods and connections with medical and psychiatry professionals on-site. After a couple months, I successfully completed treatment and left NIRC feeling like I have a new lease on life. I was connected with so many community resources to continue my recovery journey and at nearly 4 months sober, I am a version of myself I haven't been connected with in years! I am a better wife and mother, but I also have found my purpose and become a student, a friend, a coach and a productive, self-confident and SOBER part of my community. I owe it to NIRC and I hope to, one day, give back to the organization that has given me a life I am proud of and excited to live every day! Thank you!!

I had a good experience and learn a lot from this program. The staff worked really hard to get me a place to go. I am now in sober living. I enjoyed my time at this treatment center. Great experience and staff. The only thing I had a problem with was using the phone. We were allowed to use our cell phones 2 times per week for half an hour each time. Other than that it was a great facility and beautiful area. You won't be disappointed.

This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! They saved my lyfe for sure and are currently saving my girlfriends lyfe. I can not say enough good things about this place and trust me if it was wack I'd put them on blast. First the nursing staff is more then amazing. I went there to detox from the typical West Side of Chicago herion-fetinol-xylazine-morphine bullshit and knew I was in for a rough couple weeks. Shout out to all the nurses but especially Linda in detox. This lady held my hand and I completely give her all the credit in the world for getting me through that. After detox I went to the men's unit. I can only speak on the councilors I've had cause I've been there twice but John and Tera are amazing in every way. The staff is awesome with special shout outs to D, Sammy, Kurt and Chase for sure. If you've never witnessed one of Chases groups this man will change your lyfe. The rehab itself is like a resort and I called it the Passeges Malibu of Illinois. It's right on the lake and everything is gorgeous. Id recommend this place 100 times over. The only negative thing I have to say is I came with 2 brand new scripts of Alprazalam and Adderall that was destroyed without my consent even though they belonged to me and everyone said I'd get them back but I guess thats rehab for you. If your struggling with anything this is the best possible place for you. They truly save lives.

It's all in the name "Recovery home". . Rosecrance recovery home is one of the smartest decisions I've ever made. Woodstock is one of the cleanest buildings I've ever been in. If staying sober is your goal, this place is second to none. There may be a lot of rules but nothing out of control. The rules are quite simple by comparison to having a lifestyle that was out of control. Everybody here is very helpful as far as the staff goes. Not to mention the intelligence of some of the staff is amazing. Life skills are very important. Rosecrance recovery home put you on a healthy path for everyday living. Woodstock recovery home is run by caring attentive staff. The homes are beautiful and kept nice and clean. Anyone looking to establish a network of good people in the sober community should consider this program. I waited a couple weeks for a spot to open up and I’m so grateful I didn’t look elsewhere .I’ve been here a little over a week and I’m happy and more hopeful than I’ve been in years. 🥰👍👍👍

I have been here twice now. Unfortunately, both times were for ER visits, but the staff is tremendous. I have been to the hospital too many times to count (I have kids and, as a youth Pastor, make hospital visits) and our experiences here have been among the best.

I was able to tour here and I was amazed at how many facilities they have to keep the kids engaged! It’s clear the staff cares about each and every kid. Everybody’s mental health is different and the staff knows how to handle everything on a case by case basis. It can be very difficult, but the staff still excel! It takes time to heal. I would highly recommend Allendale!!!

The only service i utilize here is my therapist. But I can honestly say she's one of the best therapists I've ever had. So much that I've been with her for many years. I went to tour both day centers, It truly was special to see so many caregivers smiling and laughing with the students. It was pretty obvious they love their job and the people that they care for. I wish that were the case every where, but sadly its not. The day center students do several activities each day, they get to choose which activities they want. I witnessed a woods class, they were making bird houses, there are Art rooms, music areas, library, therapeutic rooms, sensory rooms, classrooms and lockers, trails outside and more... The halls and classrooms are decorated with the students art work. All of the students were friendly in greeting me, smiling, and even doing pranks on staff since it was April 1st. I honestly had not laughed that hard in so long I cannot remember the last time. It was fun to do the tours and meet staff, see everyone in action. Thank you Matthias Academy staff, volunteers, students and residents for making me feel welcome!
