Aptly named, the Lighthouse Treatment Center serves as a beacon of light and hope for those suffering the afflictions of substance use disorders. I was on a path of self-destruction and was able to right myself towards a path of recovery wholly due to the care, compassion, counseling, therapy, and education imparted by the Lighthouse Leadership Team and Staff. This is a truly an exceptional program focused on a holistic approach to rehabilitation and recovery. All facets crucial to a healthy and successful launch to recovery are carefully addressed, focused on restoring physical, mental, and emotional states of well-being. Physical health is carefully monitored and medical needs are addressed and met by a competent and compassionate medical team. In addition to 24 hour access to snacks and beverages, nutritional needs are met by an outstanding kitchen staff, where healthy, well-balanced, freshly prepared and delicious meals are provided three times a day. Psychological education essential to the recovery process is imparted by well-trained and empathetic personnel whose compassion and dedication is readily apparent from day one. Both a licensed counselor and therapist are personally assigned to each client for one-on-one weekly meetings, who also have an open door policy to effectively address any needs related to your treatment progress. The facility itself is clean, peaceful, and well-maintained, providing comfortable accommodations and an overall environment conducive to a smooth and successful recovery. It is important to emphasize how critical and effective the Lighthouse Staff and Team were in launching me to an overall state of well-being, where the daily encountered challenges of life we are overcome with understanding, patience and compassion. These are the attributes I encountered from the staff during my treatment at the Lighthouse and I am proud to be an alumnus to carry on this tradition of a program that ultimately saved my life and paved the way for a happy and healthy future.

I've been in Anaheim for 2 months and being from Texas ,I love it out here. Not just the weather but the people at Restorations are awesome, the actually care about their clients. Even Roc the guy that runs the program. The 1st time I met him I went to introduce myself and he already knew who I was. I think that's awesome. I can tell he's been where I've been by listening to him speak. Coming out here has been one of the best decisions I've made next to goin to college I would recommend giving it a try if your looking for help to get your life together.

Better Dayz has been one of the greatest experiences in my journey of recovery. From all the helpful staff: Tiffany, Gina, Lauren, Hasya, John, Earl, Aisha, House Manager Matt, and last but by far not least Chef Jeremy. The building has more than one office to help mentally affected persons. Upstairs is the entry point and Dr. Kalika is amazing. He really listens and really cares. Downstairs is the PACT team which you may qualify for if you've had more than two 51/50s in the last year. This is a more intense therapy schedule and higher monitoring to keep you out of the hospital and jail. Jeuen is a wonderful counselor and uses EMDR to help deal with trauma, which is a highly effective therapy. Dr. Cheung is kind and compassionate and does more than just write scripts. Overall, my experience at this particular OCHA has been much better than the Westminster location years ago. I feel cared for, listened to and like the therapy is actually making a difference in my life.

All I can say is that when God led me to this program, I didn’t know what to expect. Now I can say that He definitely led me to the right place to get the help I needed for so long! I was in the Intensive Outpatient Program for 60 days. The group sessions taught by some great facilitators gave me so much insight about myself, my addiction and how to overcome all the issues in my heart. God used this place to CHANGE MY LIFE FOREVER. He even gave me the perfect therapist and counselors that were like-minded in my faith and healing process!! I also met some great people seeking to recover and heal like me. We still connect from time to time and go to meetings! I highly recommend The Lighthouse to help you get over and get through one of the toughest seasons of your life! I know it was mine and now I am FREE, loving and living life in victory!

I recently found out that a family member was struggling with addiction. I was so lost and confused on where to start. Thankfully Conor at Pacific Sands was one of my first calls. He made me feel heard and understood exactly what I was going through. He gave me really great advice and knowledge on addiction. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to go with them because of insurance reasons but, he was very helpful, attentive and reassuring. I cannot say enough for the program and the staff. I can tell you from experience these people really care about you they care if you make it and they want you to make it and they are rooting for you. Their programming is fantastic the homes that they can house you in are absolutely gorgeous. They have truly changed my life, I couldn't have asked for a better program or better staffing. The house that I’m staying at is right by the beach. The house is very clean and my Roomates are easy going. The house manger is very organized and has things set up in way where there are no problems. We go to meeting and outings weekly and if we need transportation or anything our house manger is here to help. We have chores daily to ensure that the house stay clean and organized.
