My daughter was spiraling downward and we had very few options left. SSA accepted her on short notice. We were hesitant but hopeful, and 6 months later she is home and doing better than I could have imagined. The staff has been amazing; frequent communication and to have the open door policy to visit was such a change from her former RTC. It's only been a few weeks since graduating the program but she is doing well. I am thankful for their work with her and recommend for parents and girls who ate struggling.

Sedona SKY Academy is under new ownership and I am very impressed with their nurturing and supportive environment. A lot of the students come to the academy after they have experienced extreme trauma, and majority of their tuition is paid by their insurance company. It is an all-girls academy, they live on campus and attend year round school.

I was so scared asking for help and didn’t know where to go, but this place came highly recommended. The only bad thing is that the fact that I had to leave anybody looking to get help there is not a better place to go in here. the staff is absolutely incredible. I cried more just seeing how well I was treated here than even dealing with my issues. I cannot recommend this place enough if you want help come here.

I was here for a 10 day detox. Every staff member here was incredibly compassionate, and I feel that they went to great lengths to take care of their patients. I would highly recommend this place for detox. Part of me never wants to leave. All I can say is they are truly amazing people And I will miss them all.

The staff and provider here made my stay bearable and successful. Dr. Sierzenski, Samantha BHT, Derrick RN, Stephanie RN, Veronica BHT, Ingrid RN, Gabby BHT, Tanisha RN, and all of them! They were attentive, compassionate, helpful, professional, but most of all... they were kind to me when I was in a very dark place and a world of hurt. Seams all good on the website, but when you actually get to the place it's not what they advertised or promise.
Zero veteran support but they tell the VA they have a detailed veterans program.
Things they have listed on website but don't do:
1) Veteran/First responder-specific groups not led by staff it's all ran by the actual patients
2)Group therapy, including psych-educational
Individualized therapy. same classes each week
3)Trauma Release Exercises (TRE) no one knows what this is
4)EMDR 8 weeks in and still have yet to get appointment for this same for 98% of the people
5)Somatic Experiencing Therapy no one knows who does this
6)NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model) no one knows about this
7)Brainspotting staff has no clue on who does this
8)Psychodrama staff has no idea about this
9) massage therapy not available
10) acupuncture not available
They say they do mental health but 99% of all classes is for drugs and alcohol.
Staff members don't communicate with each other. Psychiatrist don't talk to therapist/ counselors about what care , classes each different patient needs.
Staff members fail to give messages to patients or even inform the patient that they have a phone call from there primary Care provider.
Staff members taking vacation and not having a backup to who will be taking over that job. Example front desk was closed for 2 days causing all mail/deliveries to be sent back "no one was authorized to accept".
First 2 weeks at this place and 3 staff members "quit"/ "fired" without notice.
In order to check out you personally have to run around getting signatures from all different staff members.
You only meet with psychiatrist once a week for 15min and once a week with counselor for 40-50min. The rest of the time your doing "classes" where 80%+ of them don't even apply to why your at this facility.
Example I cam in for alcohol but they have me going to narcotics classes, breathing exercises classes.
UPDATE after Cottonwood Tucson response to this post: it's not hipaa to talk about or address the issues listed above, no names are included just goes to so all your responses are a simple copy and past to swipe issues under the rug.

My son is 18 and struggling with a fentanyl addiction. To say the very least it’s been hard and traumatic. My son went to the crossroads detox facility. The 12 step program works miracles and the people that work within the facility have first-hand experience often times with their own addiction recovery. Rose and Bridgette were incredibly impressionable on my son and worked very hard to influence him positively. If I could afford to open a dozen more of these places I would. God bless these people and those struggling with addiction.

I don't even know where to start!! From speaking with Sandy at intake to all the staff at both residential and PHP everyone was amazing!! I was so nervous coming in and not knowing what to expect but if you stick with it and stay you will not regret it!! Everyone who works here is amazing and deserving of 5 stars!! Their kindness, attentiveness, knowledge, passion, and enthusiasm topped the charts!! I found my tribe here and I cant say Thank You enough!!! Makes me cry just typing this out because this place and all the staff, the entire team is phenomenal!! I miss my family here and I am and will forever be grateful for their help and the difference they have made in my life!!! Despite my obstinate reluctance to participate in this type of therapy, the staff has been extremely confident and flexible in finding a way to help me. I am still surprised and very grateful for their commitment and sincerity. They really have helped in a direct and tangible fashion in a very short time. I never would have guessed that I would end up with such gratitude and respect for the people and process I have been gifted with. I offer my best wishes for all those who sacrifice so much to help and serve to foster recovery and wellness for others. Somehow, even I seem to be worth the effort from such generous folk. My inability to fathom anything that could justify the time spent with me by such wonderous people does not diminish my gratitude for the effects of the education, caring and results achieved.

I was a client at Fountain Hills Recovery at the beginning 2025, and I felt compelled to leave a review about my time there. During my stay, I received treatment for Alcohol and actively participated in all components of the residential treatment program, including group therapy, individual therapy, and psychiatric therapy. The staff was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of taking back control of your life, and their care and kindness was well above what I expected to receive. The home I stayed in was always well stocked with food of your choosing, and the meals that were provided were well balanced and hit high marks from the chef that prepared them daily for us. Besides the great accommodations in place, the treatment I received was highly beneficial and had led me to know reach a 6 month milestone of living a sober and clean life. I am thankful for my decision to choose Fountain Hills and would recommend it to anyone who is serious about making decisions that will shape their future for the better.

I have been to many VA facilities, this one is the by far the worst to me, back in 2021 I went there because I was a combat Veteran with PTSD and TBI struggling with Alcoholism since combat, been sober for over 3 years now, but I remember when I went to the E.R. in Tuscon (I had Alcoholic Keto) I was just trying to rest on the floor out of the way (because of pain) the wait was so long. I was not bugging anyone, being loud or disruptive in any way. I remember when I was lying there struggling in pain the security guards thought it would be funny to throw peanuts over a wall that was there. I remember they were laughing and joking, there was a few that hit me and one in the face, this really happened, however I was in so much intense pain at the time I didnt care. I am writing this review years later, because it still bugs me to this day that I got treated like that. Its a horrible way to treat someone who gave 2 years of their life serving in combat in Iraq, 1 year in South Korea,9 years total service. I really think Tuscon VA could benifit more on trying to work with Alcoholics better, I will NEVER EVER step foot in Tuscon VA again. I also got transported to a Civilian hospital that I dont remember consenting to, woke up there and realized Im not in the VA, I couldnt afford a Civilian hospital stay, so I left AMA but I was really far from my home, I had no money or a ride and stranded at 11pm. I came here to Loma linda VA and they were able to help me and get me back on my feet, I am greatful for Loma Linda VA California they know how to work with struggling Veterans

What I love about Soul Surgery is that it has provided my Mom with a stable environment to live alcohol-free, receive support and training for sober living, and encourages her freedom in creating a fulfilled and joyful life.
She rides her bike every day around the city and nearby parks, chooses to meal prep her food weekly for health, enjoys fun hobbies, and is free to come and go as she pleases. She is vibrant, excited about life, and is consistently engaged in the training activities and group meetings that she attends daily.
I am happy that we are able to spend time together anytime on and offsite. It was great to get together on Memorials Day for swimming & family time. It is so nice to get to visit and talk on the phone and in person.

With this facility transitioning to a hybrid sober living platform requiring the daily programming with the way it has been taught has been life changing to say the least, the opportunity my wife and I have been given to join this program I must say not only my life individually has been saved my marriage has been as well and that has not been a focus in fact my marriage saved is a most pleasant by product of my own and my wife's sobriety as individuals, while my wife and I are working this program as individuals our bond has grew in strength along with the connection we have which is growing daily, this in depth 12 step based program has taught me how to live differently in sobriety. With learning how to live differently in sobriety the freedom to come and go as we please along with the ability to work has been excellent to allow us to experience the outside world while still in a safe environment, with this being my first and only treatment that I've ever gone through it be extremely difficult to imagine any other program having the impact Soul Surgery has had on me if I was given a choice how I want to attain sobriety I would chose this place, I am forever thankful and greatful for having the opportunity for sobriety and learning how to use the tools from who I have learned them from.

My daughter is currently here. We are from out of state and sending her somewhere that I had not been able to see or meet the people there was more than scary for her and for me!! All I can say up to this point is that all our fears are gone. It is everything they claim it is online and more. She is being supported in every single way possible. From addressing her addiction, her mental health, physical health, everything. The facility reaches out to me weekly to give me updates on her as well. I have had alot of experience with rehabs and know that it's rare when you get ALL of these things or that what it claims it is online, isn't what it is when you get there. Decision Point was the first rehab that I've been too I was recommended to go there by my cousin Gabriel he completed treatment there and has been Sober for 6 years now. He always told me when I was ready that he would be right there to take me. That was the best decision I've ever made from the BHTs to Counselor's and staff was amazing. I have been coming here for over 15 years and would tell anyone struggling with opioid addiction that there is a place where you can find help and never have to suffer from debilitating pains in agony because your body is going thru withdraw and you will never have to suffer in silence trying to hide from your addiction that is always going to catch up with you so if your ready to free yourself from burden of having to chase pills and always wandering if you'll have enough to make it thru another day just hoping you can find someone who has some thing to stop those withdraws this is the place for you to find what your looking for. Methadone treatment saved my life and don't listen to what anyone tells you or what you may have heard about methadone treatment just make the call and come talk to one of the counselors to get the facts and then give it a chance because they don't expect anyone to be cured overnight but they can offer the support and start you on medication and give you more the next day and keep sticking to that plan to show up everyday youll keep getting a little bit more everyday by the end of your first week you will start to feel so much better by end of week 2 you'll be able to get a good night's rest 3rd week you won't worry because the withdraws will subside by week 4 you'll still be raising your dose but withdraws will be gone but you may still have cravings or you may not need to raise your dose any higher but whatever the case they will give you everything you need to get you drug free until you have no more cravings and you will soon wander why you waited so long to start treatment. Whatever excuses you have not to start or keep going back they can help with getting rides , filling application for access if you need help paying or can't pay they have lots of programs that might qualify you for help to get started on treatment so give them a call , you won't regret it and privacy for patience is a top priority so if your worried someone might find out like an employer or family member they do not and will not ever acknowledge if someone is or is not a patient so they can protect every person who walks thru their doors from having to worry about the choice to come there and consequences of someone finding out they make every patient sign a non disclosure agreement so if someone you know happens to show up one Day they are banned from exposing any person or patient or even talking about seeing someone while they are there for treatment so it's very discreet and you need to take a chance make the call and get your life back on track because your never to old to learn something new like how to live your life sober and happy so they will give you the tools you will need to succeed and I hope if I can convince just one person to try then these words will have been worth all it took to get them somewhere to let someone find them and if I save just one person that's enough for me and I hope to see you there one day

This place doesn’t make you feel worthless because of the reason you are here. They extend more than just help with drugs. They’re sincere and human and my counselor Marne is amazing and a wonderful woman. She has definitely been in my life and has made such a huge difference in my recovery from prescription pain meds to now Suboxone. This is going to be my sixth year in recovery. Highly recommend this place.

This facility and The Haven Foundation has always been a stepping stone for me in kicking off my sobriety. The staff really care about you and truly want the best for you. One person in specific that stood out to me was Angel the alumni coordinator!
What makes him truly special is that the support doesn’t end when treatment does. He stays in touch, checks in, and follows you through every step of your recovery journey. Whether it’s a tough moment or a big milestone, he’s always the first one to reach out, cheer you on, or help guide you back on track.
His commitment to the alumni community is unmatched. You can feel that he cares , not just during your time in treatment, but long after you leave. Having someone like him in your corner makes all the difference.
If every treatment center had an alumni coordinator like him, recovery would feel a lot less lonely. I’m truly grateful for everything he does.

And no its not for drug addicts or alcohol they actually have a a separate department just for mental health I got si much to say will dad more so I will say Heavendetox is the place for it all oh can't forget this the staffs are amazing and if transportation is a problem no worries they got you covered. I have been to a few rehabs and Detox‘s only one different Detox, but The Haven Detox Center has gone above and beyond from the intake process all the way through to the BHT‘s to the janitorial staff the medical staff The meal prep kitchen, chef staff has created such a dynamic environment in under a year of their first year anniversary that has Made the people that are clients are patients full of hope, spirit morale, and just genuinely compassionate empathetic and loving towards each other naturally because of the environment that this staff has provided !!!!! And on a sidenote, I would definitely have to give a huge shout out to Marcus the Detox supervisor that guy is not only leading by example, but he’s leading from the front and that’s how you run up company enterprise any type of business transactional environment that’s the type of leadership you look for someone to willing to lead from the front and lead by example !!!

I was able to leave this program with some of the tools needed to help in my recovery. The groups were amazing! It is set up like a small village. You have multiple houses and meeting center in the middle of them. They also take you out for trips to the park and even church on Sundays.
