Not only do they do their job right but they are really professional here! I've only had a bad experience on my first visit with a therapist but they fixed that right away for me and changed my therapist which I'm glad they did. I am not that type to open up about my feelings but Chrissy was really helpful and made me feel comfortable right away, it made it seem like if I've known her for years so I definitely recommend her. Their staff has been so supportive and informative about their process. The outdoor hiking and camping is something that has truly resonated with our son. The all male environment is something that our son really needed to be able to focus on friendships and connections with other men struggling with the same issues. They build a community and that is what young men need today instead of the constant online activity and lack of personal connections. Our son truly enjoyed the hiking, camping and team building exercises. The personal growth and maturity we have seen in him since he started the program really has given us hope for our son and a sober future. The staff was amazing throughout my entire time from my residential stay to my after care. You know who you are! Your stuck, your hopeless, your lost,you have started to avoid mirrors (in a reflection aspect anyway ) Lol! Sorry! You don’t know how you got here and further more you don’t know how you’re going to get out! Even if you did what are you going to feel like on the other side? That was me! And I was scared to death that there was no help for me. I had drank and done drugs since I was a teenager it was part of my identity. There was no way I was going to be able to function without it! But I was deteriorating in front of my own eyes! I was no longer present for anyone! I was being eaten alive by guilt and shame. I needed help in every aspect of my being! So I did what anyone would do …… I googled….RECOVERY FOR THE MIND, BODY, AND SOUL! And that’s how I found ATMC! And that’s what it was for me. They didn’t just separate me from substances like your run of the mill treatment center and stick you in classes all day! You literally have a team that works with you everyday and every step of the way! These people have taken recovery where it needs to be in order for someone to have a chance at life again! Not only do you rid your body of the terrible poisons we decided to partake in but of all toxins! And to find out what’s going on with your body your gut your hormones and you learn the things your body is deprived of and what you need day to day with natural alternatives for your brain, energy, mood and your over all health. It’s then that you actually have a fighting chance to work on you! The Trauma the neglect the abusive relationships whatever it is you were( self medicating) numbing in the first place. We were hesitant but hopeful, and 6 months later she is home and doing better than I could have imagined. The staff has been amazing; frequent communication and to have the open door policy to visit was such a change from her former RTC. It's only been a few weeks since graduating the program but she is doing well. I am thankful for their work with her and recommend for parents and girls who ate struggling. The new DR. Sean is a major change from the previous DR that was there. Sean understands not everything is black and white and actually listens to you when you tell him like hey this isn't working can we try something else's, on top of actually listening to your concerns about medication he actually cares about your recovery as much as you do, I have not had one DR. Actually try to help when I said I want to be done with MAT meds, the last DR'S would basically set you up for failure so you will have to come back and be stuck. Sean will actually help you and not abandon you through the process of getting off MAT meds.He has helped this place become more hopeful for me. You can tell he cares.... and thats the part that this clinic was missing. Southwest please hold on to this DR close. He is litterly what makes the MAT program a true recovery program. Every Team member i met were on point and communicated with one another very well. I was impressed all the way to housekeeping. No one complained or had a rude attitude.
