I left this facility as a patient 3 days ago and I wanted to leave a review from the inside. I was in for alcohol detox and I was there for 6 days and admitted myself. It’s time to give praise where praise is due. Staff by name: Nate - RN this was one of the better nurses and he worked the night shift, there were several points when I was at an all-time low, especially at night. Nate took the time to sit down with me and make sure that I was OK every single time. He cares about his job and his patients and it clearly showed. Zack - this gentleman worked in the CSU, he had an incredible personality and he is the gentleman that you would be working with at night if you were doing intake. Me and him had conversation for hours about working out, family, religion. as far as I understood it, he had achieved employee of the month of the month prior and there’s a very big reason. Zack was a massive part of being able to talk to me while my anxiety was so high. This gentleman deserves nothing but praise and probably a raise. Nicole - she was a floor tech that also works nights, she’s a good worker and does what she needs to. She just seems to be very quiet and somewhat antisocial so she was not a good person to talk to however, you could see her work ethic and how she contributed to the facility. Eric or Airwik - again, this is a floor tech. This gentleman deserves nothing but praise. He worked nights and days. He was very easy to talk too, me and him talked about his background for his native descent and we spoke about music. We had good conversation which is what is required for a lot of these patients. Denise - Just awesome, thank you for being a support Kody - this is a daytime floor tech, again sat down with me had excellent conversations and he ended up playing Uno with all of us patients several times over. He had an ability to connect with his patients and make him feel like a familiar friend. Kody deserves some of the highest praise as he gets somewhat intimate with his clients. Andrea - registered nurse, this girl is a powerhouse of a woman. Her and I shared the same religious background and on the day of my release she did nothing but tell me the success that she saw for me. You can also tell that she goes to the gym; shared. She’s high energy and is very on the ball she had a way of sharing her positive energy which shared hope she was a significant part of my discharge her and I spoke for probably 30 minutes before I got discharged. She is intense a little bit loud, but absolutely a wonderful soul. Julie - fantastic human being. Austin - this gentleman is a part of CSU again the intake portion. Him and I spoke the first night for probably two hours when I was first admitted. Again, we spoke about religion general concepts, and Austin is an absolute nerd. He reads books every single day and he has card games and things like that. One thing that stuck out about Austin is that he is extremely intelligent and he would love to talk to you about almost anything. Me and him mostly spoke about God. Bonnie - Bonnie was the cleaning lady over in the CSU unit. I believe she used to be a police officer. She’s a very intimidating woman, but she’s also extremely sweet if you’re just not a jerk. Around when I first got there in the CSU she showed me where the snacks and drinks were treated me like a human being. Dave - this is another gentleman from the CSU, he’s usually quiet at first as he feels you out and what your temperament is but again after he knows that you’re not something that is a threat he’ll open up to you. Another gentleman that is highly intelligent. Lastly Robert - RN my first interaction with Robert was when I needed something from the nurses. When I tried to get his attention, he looked at me and shook his head and then look away from me, which was very dehumanizing. After that when he left the nurses cage, I tried to get his attention and he ignored me three times. This guy is terrible and as far as I understand it, most of the staff doesn’t even like him.

This place changed my life and quite possibly saved it as well. All the nurses were wonderful and in particular Kerry, Nate, Haven, Shavon, Heather, and Zac. The techs were amazing including Richard 1, Jay, Richard 2, Steph, Cody. I'm sure there are others I interacted with that were great as well that I'm forgetting. Both psych NPs were attentive and thorough and really cared! Both social workers Kenzie and Kat are some of the best people on this planet. They brought together the whole plan for me. Everyone on staff truly care about all of us patients and were extremely professional, efficient, and attentive. This place is a staple and much needed on the mountain, they serve our community in amazing ways. Thank you to everyone! Changepoint changed my life and will change yours too!

I finally got to see my husband today. After 2 days. I though his was at a different facility. My husband couldn't remember my phone number to call me so he asked one of the nurses to please check his phone number for my phone number and she did. She didn't have to everyone was so so nice when I first got there so excited to see him. I made him some food. An we ate snack's I brought. I just want to thank everyone to making me feel welcomed. Not one person was judgemental.... THANK U for the people that work in the evening. God bless you and your family's..

So I have Mixed Ratings** 5/5 I do want to give a shout out to the ER staff and team at this location. They are a team player and I really liked how quickly they were able to initiate an emergency when they saw one when we came in. Our situation was dire and to see the response of how everybody came together so quickly it was so powerful ,Thank you .Thank you so much. We have a continuous glucose monitoring systems for diabetes management, unfortunately it was reading false accurate report and That's what prompt us to come into the ER this morning to get my grandfather double checked on his blood sugar levels. So let's get into the negative .. 1/5 stars , We are definitely not from the area. We are out of towners but I guess we get confused from looking like locals? I was following Google maps, on how to get here with the directions. We got an accurate reading on how to get here but we're getting close to the building I follow the emergency signs with the arrows pointing where to go, located on the sidewalk where the emergency sign that show Us where to go which is the wrong points on entrance. I hope this gets corrected, because security was on my ass for my parking which was up near the front , entering the wrong way, Parked in the handicap sign with the handicap sticker up and security definitely told me I couldn't park there but Yes understandable our situation was an emergency. My grandfather uses a cane, plus he's hard of hearing so I was there speaking for him and also communicating via dry erase board. To the ER staff of the situation. I did tell security that I promise to move to vehicle once I get my grandfather situated but once I've probably been there for " 10 minutes " she came and look for me to go tell me to move my vehicle. But please give some training to security on letting them know more about Hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar, and the dangerous condition that needs to be taken seriously, especially for those with diabetes. Glucose is the brain's main source of energy, and when blood sugar drops too low, it can lead to various physical and mental impairments. I felt like with better understanding and compassion This place can go a long way towards 5 stars

My wife and I had a terrible experience trying to get a simple prescription filled. We will not be returning. She never received her prescription. The God it was just for pain. Either the doctor or their prescription system needs to be replaced. Or both. Update: Ten days after my wife needed to go to the ER for her four broken ribs, I went to the ER with a huge infection in my head, face, and neck and the staff was amazing. I can't stress how well we were treated by all the staff we encountered.

I've had the very fortunate ability to go to 4 treatment centers over the past 2 decades and Sabino is by far the best and my favorite for every reason. The staff is top notch (EVERYONE), the food is freshly cooked and amazing with the freedom to have snacks and drinks 24hrs, the living quarters are private or shares with only one other person and so cozy, there's modules for everyone and the patient gets to choose weekly what they're gonna be doing that week, there's outings, phone and electronic use, pool time.... I could go on and on and on. Not one thing I can find issues with at all. I'm truly grateful to this center and everyone I met while there.

I first off want to thank Ms. Tina L. for her AMAZINGGGG support and service! I was nervous about switching to a new clinic and from the start she assured me that I was in the right place and that I was going to get taken care of! She made sure to inform me of every step before it was even happening! She made sure I was comfortable and asked if there was anything I needed. I had to bring my 1yr old daughter with me and they absolutely had no issue with that, which I am so thankful for their patience and understanding. Me being a stay at home mom I have to bring the little one. The intake process was so smooth it didn’t even feel like I was there the length of the time I was there. I was warned about a lengthy process due to the fact it was an “intake” appointment. They make sure you are aware of that prior to starting. I am extremely pleased with the nurses, the provider and my case manager. Everyone was very welcoming and accepting. My only regret was not coming sooner.! Thank you so much Community Medical Services!

My experience was what I needed however I left before the onion was completely peeled back. Fortunately, I was able to return back to MBH. I'm really bad at keeping in touch with people. The codependence, shyness, and other addictive behaviors have made me feel like I just don’t fit in. I am working on that by getting to meetings on a regular basis. I have been coming to ITS in mesa for almost 2 years and this place has been so important to my sobriety! Every single staff member there has gone ABOVE and beyond to make sure I get the services that I need. When I was having issues with my insurance and thought I couldn't continue treatment, Kanoi reached out and made sure to figure out a way so that I could stay. Tammy is amazing as well, so helpful, kind and keeps this office running smooth and so much more. Monica is so sweet, and genuinely cares about all of the patients that come here..the doctors are all so great and the peer support/counseling staff is so relatable and easy to talk to (especially Celeste, love her!) Not one person here has ever made me feel bad about being in recovery, so uplifting and encouraging I would 10/10 recommend anybody struggling with addiction go here to start their recovery journey!

I have been to one other clinic but by far ITS is so much better. Kanoe the peer support is so extremely helpful, she is so friendly and always reaching out to see if there is anything I need. My daughter is with me each time and I was always nervous she would be exposed to things if I brought her with to the clinic but she LOVES tagging along. Everyone works so hard to make sure you're feeling supported. I found sobriety again because of ITS. I visited the ER and was obvioulsy low on the priority list. That is good. That means plenty of other people were sicker than I. I would have preferred a bed to manage my pain rather than the RP setting. Everyone was awesome. I remember Diego, Morgan and the wonderful Lauren. I wasn't the sickest person in the building by far, so I understand the delays while you juggle mutliple cases. The digital assistant touched base with me with updates. I do think the RP rooms/curtained zones need a nurse call button. For me, I feel like it created additional anxiety be confined in an approx 7'x7' curtained space with a recliner. I understand the need for such a space to manage beds but listening to others playing Comedian entertainers talking dirty on their phones, or incessantly talking to someone on the phone. Kind of ramps up the stress. The lighting is also bright for everyone in that zone. I really just wanted to close my eyes and try to relax and focus on managing my pain. Thank you Banner for taking care of me. The team was awesome! I'm sure I will return again in the future.

Banner Del E Webb Medical Center | Sun City West, AZ | Meeker Blvd. My Heart Is Overwhelmed with Gratitude My experience at the hospital began at 5:30 AM, when I was greeted by the night-shift volunteer, Ms. Kelly, whose graceful and gentle presence set a tone of calm kindness. I watched her finishing her shift — cleaning her desk and answering calls with joyful energy — before she personally escorted me to meet the Registration Agent, Ms. Teesa. Ms. Teesa looked like an Egyptian goddess — her intricate braids, elegant outfit, and soft green manicure all radiated quiet confidence. Her warmth and humor made me feel instantly at ease, as if I were meeting an old friend. When I reached the surgical floor, I was given a hospital brochure thoughtfully prepared with every essential medical form a patient or family might need. That attention to detail was deeply reassuring. I was also greeted by a senior volunteer couple whose kindness and serenity added yet another layer of comfort to the morning. For years, I had carried fear and distrust after many painful IV attempts at other facilities. But the Pre-Op RN, Ms. Karla, moved around me like a soft breeze — calm, light, and full of grace. She inserted the IV with one gentle touch I could barely feel. Her presence alone was healing. The Anesthesiologist, Ty, performed his work perfectly — no pressure, no side effects post-surgery, only peaceful rest and recovery. And then came the heart of my journey — Dr. Westphal, the Royalty of Surgery, whom I had been searching for over two years after an earlier failed operation. Dr. Westphal’s mastery, patience, and innovative techniques restored not only my health but my faith in medicine. I wake up every morning filled with gratitude and go to bed with prayers of love for this remarkable surgeon, who treats every patient like family. The care did not end in the operating room. The office staff — from Dr. Westphal’s focused and thorough PA, Ms. Kathy to the warmly welcoming reception staff (Diane, Tricia, Stephanie and others) and the kind Radiology Technicians — all radiate kindness, openness, and genuine love for their patients. Every visit feels like being welcomed home. God’s blessings to you all. I will forever cherish the love, professionalism, and devotion you shared with me throughout my healing journey. With heartfelt gratitude, Loving Melissa

ER Staff was GREAT! PA Cody and Nurse Tony did a fantastic job with my injury. The one complaint I have is they tried to get me to pay $2200 cash and not run it through my high deductible insurance plan because I “hadn’t hit my deductible”. When it was all said and done I owed about $200, so DO NOT let the high pressure billing people sign you up for banner credit or pay cash before it goes through insurance.

I was here 3/2 weeks ago and it was really great here I got alot of help here but I didn't like how the staff didn't help out when there was about to be a fight happening and I didn't like that and I'm only 14 years old but the great thing about is that you get to have a roommate and that is really good to but just watch out about the staff they barely help out but overall it was pretty good there

Dr. Marku, Lydia, Athena, Trisha, everyone has been amazing! I finally feel heard. Trisha was the sweetest to my son, she made me feel like we finally found a solution to my son's ADHD. Dr. Marku took his time with me and made me feel like myself. Thank you Southwest Behavioral!

Staff is rude especially the supervisor they don’t have any customer service skills worst location so far. I’m glad I didn’t take my kid here because they probably would’ve corrupted her. I can only imagine how horrible the therapist would be if the front office was bad. Stay away or else you’re going to regret it.

I Cannot fully explain how terrible my year and a half were at this location, and I'm worse off than when I started. If you have to go, for the love of God avoid Sotoyia Fairley at all costs. She is not just a terrible "care provider", but also a vindictive and evil person. And I say evil because anyone who lets another human being suffer for months on end without listening and trying to offer a solution is truly evil. I even tried to move to a different care provider due to her negligence, and they scheduled me with her again without my knowledge or consent. She refuses to listen when I tell her the diagnosis is wrong, she treats me like a junkie just trying to score drugs (even though I'm sober), I have to repeat myself constantly, and we stayed on the same course and diagnosis trying medication after medication that wouldn't help at all. She aparently knew me and what I was feeling better than I did, and after months and months of trying her way she still would not listen. They put me through hoop after hoop just trying to get a simple ADHD diagnosis, and dropped the ball time and time again where I no longer had any patience for their negligence. They even gave me a referral for a psychiatric specialist (for a ADHD diagnosis!) and after 2 months of waiting they finally had me call to check up on it, and they had no record of the referral and said they would have to send it again. They scheduled me talk therapy with a intern because they don't take mental health seriously apparently, and I had to take a month off of work (costing me thousands of dollars) because I had a severe breakdown due to my symptoms getting worse, not better. They still didn't even lift a finger to help me until months later and I had no choice but to return to work and suffer through it. Truly one of the worst experiences of my life, and no person should ever have to feel hopeless and ignored by their care provider. If I can help just one person avoid this place and the nightmare I had to endure then this review will be worth it, please do yourself a favor and avoid this inhumane establishment at all costs, you do not matter to them.

Sister is currently in va clinic for an ongoing pain from an injury sustained in AD. doctors keep telling her abdominal and back pain are UTI or period related. Didn’t give a nurse call line and resorted to tossing a urinary cup on the floor to get their attention because she can’t talk from the pain. she called me crying in so much pain because of her injury and frustration with male nurses and doctors there. Gave her nothing but ibuprofen and told her she’s a health 25 year old and that she shouldn’t be in this much pain. If she’s so health why has she been in pain for THREE DAYS. Called out of work called out of school because she can barely walk. No bedside manner. No care for womens pain. Mind you she drove almost two hours just to be seen there. RIDICULOUS.

This place was absolutely amazing. Exactly a year ago I was admitted and the staff were nothing but extremely kind, Mr.Herb was an absolutely amazing health tech who made me and my friends smile and laugh all the time, I was called by my preferred name by everyone, the food was absolutely amazing as someone who has problems with many foods, my only problem was this one nurse that was one nurse, when I went to take my meds in the morning I saw that she was a nurse that didn’t usually work in my unit, and she was trying to tell me that none of my problems were real and that I’m just dramatic, later that day i had an “outbreak” I’ll call it and she was very unkind afterwards, looking at me with distain when giving me bandages and when I asked to use my hair brush when I got out of the shower she said I couldn’t have it because my doctor said that I could harm myself with it and that she didn’t trust me, I talked to my doctor the next day about it and he said that did not happen, but other than that every nurse and health tech was super kind, funny, and were really just trying to make our stay better and I appreciate all of them, especially miss Hannah and miss Rachel (I think that’s her name), all these negative comments really confused me, this is a lovely place, and there were rarely many fights and one of the only violent people I remember was actually really sweet, Sedona unit made this horrible time in my life much less stressful and I’m glad to say I’ve really recovered because of this hospital, though getting in contact with the place to see about admitting me was really hard and the lady lied about what we could have in the hospital, many things she said we couldn’t have, if we asked our doctor we were 100% fine to have this stuff, I really recommend this place ♥️
