The staff and provider here made my stay bearable and successful. Dr. Sierzenski, Samantha BHT, Derrick RN, Stephanie RN, Veronica BHT, Ingrid RN, Gabby BHT, Tanisha RN, and all of them! They were attentive, compassionate, helpful, professional, but most of all... they were kind to me when I was in a very dark place and a world of hurt. I did not ask for this to happen, but I am eternally grateful for the safety net Gallus provided me. I am 30 days sober because of you. And me. And the universe. Scottsdale Providence changed my whole life. I walked in completely broken, drinking and using to survive, carrying years of trauma and pain I didn’t even know how to set down. I didn’t know what I needed. I just knew I couldn’t keep living the way I was bc it was killing me. From the second I got there, the staff saw me in a way nobody ever has. They understood me. They didn’t judge me. Everything they do has intention. Nothing is random. There is rhyme and reason behind every group, every boundary, every tough conversation, and every moment they push you to sit with yourself instead of running.
And honestly, the people you meet here… they’re a huge part of the healing. The patients are amazing bc the staff creates a space where everyone feels safe and connected. You end up being transparent in ways you never have before. You hear everyone’s truth. You share yours. You feel seen and less alone. That kind of honesty changes you.
Most of the staff are addicts in recovery too, with years and years of sobriety. That makes such a difference. They don’t talk at you. They talk with you. They get the addict mind. They understand the shame, the fear, the spiraling, the survival mode. They know what it feels like to want to quit and still feel pulled back in. You just feel understood on a soul level.
They didn’t just help me stop drinking and using. They helped me understand why I did it. They got to the root emotionally, physically, and spiritually. They taught me tools I actually use every single day. They challenged me when I wanted to shut down. They held space for me when I couldn’t catch my breath. Not once did I feel judged. I felt guided. I felt held. I felt like my life actually mattered.
Scottsdale Providence didn’t just help me get sober. They gave me my life back. They gave my kids their mom back. They helped me find myself again. If you’re scared or feel like there’s no way out, I’m telling you from my own heart, this place is real. This is where healing actually happens. I’m forever grateful.

It's been truly amazing to witness her transformation & continued progression since joining.
What I love about Soul Surgery is that it has provided my Mom with a stable environment to live alcohol-free, receive support and training for sober living, and encourages her freedom in creating a fulfilled and joyful life.
She rides her bike every day around the city and nearby parks, chooses to meal prep her food weekly for health, enjoys fun hobbies, and is free to come and go as she pleases. With this facility transitioning to a hybrid sober living platform requiring the daily programming with the way it has been taught has been life changing to say the least, the opportunity my wife and I have been given to join this program I must say not only my life individually has been saved my marriage has been as well and that has not been a focus in fact my marriage saved is a most pleasant by product of my own and my wife's sobriety as individuals, while my wife and I are working this program as individuals our bond has grew in strength along with the connection we have which is growing daily, this in depth 12 step based program has taught me how to live differently in sobriety. With learning how to live differently in sobriety the freedom to come and go as we please along with the ability to work has been excellent to allow us to experience the outside world while still in a safe environment, with this being my first and only treatment that I've ever gone through it be extremely difficult to imagine any other program having the impact Soul Surgery has had on me if I was given a choice how I want to attain sobriety I would chose this place, I am forever thankful and greatful for having the opportunity for sobriety and learning how to use the tools from who I have learned them from.

New Hope Behavioral Health Center is located in Mesa, Arizona. This is an outpatient behavioral healthcare clinic that specializes in providing treatment services to men and women who are struggling with an opioid use disorder. Offering evidence based care that’s rooted in proven recovery methods and holistic approaches to recovery, they offe | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I have been coming here for over 15 years and would tell anyone struggling with opioid addiction that there is a place where you can find help and never have to suffer from debilitating pains in agony because your body is going thru withdraw and you will never have to suffer in silence trying to hide from your addiction that is always going to catch up with you so if your ready to free yourself from burden of having to chase pills and always wandering if you'll have enough to make it thru another day just hoping you can find someone who has some thing to stop those withdraws this is the place for you to find what your looking for. Methadone treatment saved my life and don't listen to what anyone tells you or what you may have heard about methadone treatment just make the call and come talk to one of the counselors to get the facts and then give it a chance because they don't expect anyone to be cured overnight but they can offer the support and start you on medication and give you more the next day and keep sticking to that plan to show up everyday youll keep getting a little bit more everyday by the end of your first week you will start to feel so much better by end of week 2 you'll be able to get a good night's rest 3rd week you won't worry because the withdraws will subside by week 4 you'll still be raising your dose but withdraws will be gone but you may still have cravings or you may not need to raise your dose any higher but whatever the case they will give you everything you need to get you drug free until you have no more cravings and you will soon wander why you waited so long to start treatment. Whatever excuses you have not to start or keep going back they can help with getting rides , filling application for access if you need help paying or can't pay they have lots of programs that might qualify you for help to get started on treatment so give them a call , you won't regret it and privacy for patience is a top priority so if your worried someone might find out like an employer or family member they do not and will not ever acknowledge if someone is or is not a patient so they can protect every person who walks thru their doors from having to worry about the choice to come there and consequences of someone finding out they make every patient sign a non disclosure agreement so if someone you know happens to show up one Day they are banned from exposing any person or patient or even talking about seeing someone while they are there for treatment so it's very discreet and you need to take a chance make the call and get your life back on track because your never to old to learn something new like how to live your life sober and happy so they will give you the tools you will need to succeed and I hope if I can convince just one person to try then these words will have been worth all it took to get them somewhere to let someone find them and if I save just one person that's enough for me and I hope to see you there one day

Canyon Vista Recovery Center.... What can I say?! This place has helped so many people as well as myself get themselves back. No longer a shell of who we used to be, now an even better version of ourselves thanks to every single aspect of this place. From the amazing staff right from when you call, then being transported there for intake with such genuinely kind people. Most of which have their very own stories of recovery. The BHT's there are like no other! (I've been many places sadly) Everyone here lifts your spirits and TRULY wants to see you recover!!
On one of my first stays here (yes there were a few. Takes time to get it right, I say.) I wanted to AMA simply because I was a brat that wanted her own brand of smokes and not the ones kindly GIVEN by the center. One of the lovely BHT's (who will remain nameless so they're not asked all the time...lol) went and bought me my own pack so I wouldn't leave. Tossed em to me and asked, " You staying now?" Damn right I stayed.
Even the food is freaking delish! Prepared microwavables that I think were made by Gordon Ramsey himself! 🤣🤣
Then the residential program is that if which one could only dream of being in! The camaraderie, the stories and the relationships you build here are ones to take with you for a lifetime! ❤️💐 I know I've made some lifelong friends here!
And the alumni meetings every Wednesday and Saturday at 6 are what I live for now! I will travel the hour from where I'm at to be there or else a zoom meeting it is!
This is the place to go when you're ready to take control of your life again. You gotta want it and no review will make you sober. But when you're ready, CANYON VISTA, all the staff there and everything else it encompasses will see you through to the other side without any judgement. They are there to help you. Just ask.
Reach out!
But they could do better snack bags! BRING BACK THE REAL SODAS!!
Love you all immensely!

Sedona, Arizona | Alternative to Meds Center, in Sedona, Arizona, is a holistic alcohol and drug rehab for adults. They offer withdrawal services and inpatient, outpatient, and aftercare programs. Dedicated services are available for young adults, seniors, military personnel and Veterans, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and persons with co-occurring disorders. Thei | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I can't say enough good things about ATMC! This place honestly changed my life. I have bipolar II disorder. Before coming to ATMC my meds had clunked out on me for almost 3 years and I was desperate to get help. I had been trying different medications and nothing was working. My depressive episodes got so severe to the point that I could no longer work. I knew that I needed to seek alternative help but did not know where to go. Every psychiatrist just kept upping or changing my medications and to no avail. I was tired of being a slave to psychotropics. My family found ATMC and when I was ready to go, they got me in immediately. This place is like no other. In the US, where it is common practice to be dependent on medication as an individual with bipolar disorder and to oftentimes be debilitated and unable to work, ATMC provided a completely different option for me! At ATMC they focus on a more holistic method of detoxing and nourishing the body. We went to the "detox shop" 5 days a week where we did sauna for hours, cold plunge, ionic footbaths, massage, reiki, sound healing, foot reflexology and IV treatments. They put you on a supplement protocol. This includes many different supplements a day which are hard to take at first but when you understand the benefit of these supplements, you begin to take them happily! I also loved the groups and my therapist, Christine. You meet with your therapist twice a week. Christine was incredible, very skilled and the most empathic therapist I have ever had. They also take you out daily into town for walking/hiking and Sedona is by far one of the most beautiful places I have ever encountered! No wonder everyone comes to Sedona for healing. It's magical. They also feed you a "serotonin-building diet" that is packed with all kinds of veggies (they provide protein as well) and the 4 female chefs there are incredible! By far, the most significant aspect of ATMC and what really touched me the most is the incredible staff! Every single one of them! They are all the most authentic, genuine, loving and caring people. I do not know how they managed to get all of these amazing people in one place! They will help change your life! During my time at ATMC, I got off one of my medications and substantially lowered another one. The psychiatrist helps taper you down weekly and the naturopathic doctor and detox specialist ensure that you are taking the right supplements to support you. It's been a while since my stay and I am so blessed to say that I am stable and back to living a full life again. I continue to take the supplements that are shipped to me monthly. If you are considering an alternate way of healing your body and mind, I highly recommend this place!

The staff at ATMC really know their stuff! I have learned so much about balancing and detoxing my system, and I have been able to use what I’ve learned to help my family as well. The grounds are breathtaking, and the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. They have a hands on approach, and genuinely want to help people.

Mesa, Arizona | Banner Children’s at Desert is a pediatric healthcare center in Mesa, Arizona. Banner Children’s at Desert (pr | Treatments Payment Options | We love Banner we went in today for my daughters first MRI recently diagnosed with epilepsy and has gone through some testing which had previously caused anxiousness. The staff here is amazing! From today’s visits from the nurse who was with other staff who were students and there were many people in the room. They all were so pleasant including the anesthesiologist and made my daughter feel so very safe leaving me to get her MRI done under sedation with the nursing staff. From waking up from anesthesia to educating me on what to look for at home. I was so pleased. She sees the neurology team there too and they’ve been so wonderful as well.

I was a part of the Embers from July 29- November 3, 2025. While I was supported for those months through a scholarship for housing and my insurance covering my treatment, there were various issues behind the scenes. I can genuinely say majority of the staff care deeply about the clients, but the director and owner of the Embers really discard you when you’re no longer giving them insurance money. I was led on to believe that I would have a position as a “lead” at the Embers sober living house, which included free housing. With that in mind, I graduated on Monday, November 3rd. I come to find out on Tuesday, November 4th that I didn’t get the job and I needed to “come up with an exit plan” by the next day (Tuesday Night), I was told they needed the beds. I did enjoy the community I established with the other clients and with that being said I was informed that there are currently 2 empty beds in the house. I was mislead and left to fend for myself. I was told that Zac was working out a sober living for me to go to and that he would contact me. He had no idea what was going on and he wasn’t working anything out for me. My family and I are very frustrated and disappointed with how the Embers treated me in the end. They definitely need to get their act together.

Wickenburg, Arizona | The Meadows Ranch, located in Wickenburg, Arizona, offers treatment for women struggling with an eating disorder. This location also provides dual diagnosis treatment and mental health treatment services. If addiction is the primary diagnosis, then a referral may be placed to an alcohol and drug rehab center. The Meadows Ranch in Wickenburg, Arizon | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I was fortunately able to stay & heal at Meadows Ranch. My stay was in August 2018. I still had IOP & more, over a year, and today I don’t suffer the shame, fear, anger & hatred for a body that just wants to survive, with a mind that blinded by its needs & the overwhelming brainwashing of our commercialized society. It took MR, to break the lock my past had keeping me under the delusion. I think of my experiences there often. They saved my life. A life that had been anguish, now nearly peaceful & even sometimes happy.

While the directors are awful & there is an abusive 'trauma therapist' (she yelled at an 11-year-old to grow up) but this is the nicest inpatient I have been to. Consider the fact I was in multiple abusive inpatients that took attorneys to get out. Here we get to go outside and the doors are not locked. It doesn't feel like a hospital, just a big house. I have been able to process the trauma from this place & when I was re-united with my family after a year of treatment centers I finally healed. There are some bhc's that are amazing, while others are awful. Tina the therapist & the psychotherapist & the relaxation room therapist & tai chi instructor are amazing, kind people. Inpatient facilities are usually cold locked hospital floors. I loved sitting outside every morning, and I even got to swim with an NG tube. While I didnt make friends here I still had my happy moments along with my bad moments. also thank you to the kind nurses, they truely make a difference. I attended summer of 2023.

I was at the Meadows Ranch this past summer, June-July of 2023. I have only good things to say about the program. My experience was life changing. That being said, I was desperate to recover. I think that, more than anything, is why I had such a positive experience. I also participated in as many optional challenges as possible. I opted in for survivor's week and family week. Honestly family week changed the way my husband and I treat each other and helped us both understand what the other was experiencing. We both agree that it saved our marriage.

To call it special, or helpful would be the understatement of the decade. The director of RCC is named Steve, but it really should be Life Saver. I do not say this lightly. Not only did Steve help save my actual life, but my family life as well. I have heard countless testimonies of him doing so for hundreds if not thousands of others. Steve is one of those guys that is absurdly passionate and loves what he does. He also treats you with the utmost respect and is brutally honest. As a matter of fact, the entire staff at RCC handles themselves in this manner. At RCC I was able to not only work on myself, but I was able to work towards finding the root cause of my issues and dealing with them head on. I would HIGHLY recommend RCC to anyone that is struggling and needs help. If you are willing to put in the work, RCC is the best place around.
