Scottsdale Providence is a wonderful program. Their commitment and care to my son was great. Caitlin, Lauren and all the staff were amazing. They had compassion, knowledge and understanding not only to my son but to our family as well. So grateful for this program and staff they truly care.

Scottsdale Providence Recovery - saved my life getting me through the hardest times. The team never gave up and I’m grateful. I have to hand it to Lauren Younger my case manager who fought tooth and nail with things like my Short Term Disability, Legal and anything that came her way.

Scottsdale Providence changed my whole life. I walked in completely broken, drinking and using to survive, carrying years of trauma and pain I didn’t even know how to set down. I didn’t know what I needed. I just knew I couldn’t keep living the way I was bc it was killing me. From the second I got there, the staff saw me in a way nobody ever has. They understood me. They didn’t judge me. Everything they do has intention. Nothing is random. There is rhyme and reason behind every group, every boundary, every tough conversation, and every moment they push you to sit with yourself instead of running. And honestly, the people you meet here… they’re a huge part of the healing. The patients are amazing bc the staff creates a space where everyone feels safe and connected. You end up being transparent in ways you never have before. You hear everyone’s truth. You share yours. You feel seen and less alone. That kind of honesty changes you. Most of the staff are addicts in recovery too, with years and years of sobriety. That makes such a difference. They don’t talk at you. They talk with you. They get the addict mind. They understand the shame, the fear, the spiraling, the survival mode. They know what it feels like to want to quit and still feel pulled back in. You just feel understood on a soul level. They didn’t just help me stop drinking and using. They helped me understand why I did it. They got to the root emotionally, physically, and spiritually. They taught me tools I actually use every single day. They challenged me when I wanted to shut down. They held space for me when I couldn’t catch my breath. Not once did I feel judged. I felt guided. I felt held. I felt like my life actually mattered. Scottsdale Providence didn’t just help me get sober. They gave me my life back. They gave my kids their mom back. They helped me find myself again. If you’re scared or feel like there’s no way out, I’m telling you from my own heart, this place is real. This is where healing actually happens. I’m forever grateful.

My Mom has been with Soul Surgery for the past 2 months. It's been truly amazing to witness her transformation & continued progression since joining. What I love about Soul Surgery is that it has provided my Mom with a stable environment to live alcohol-free, receive support and training for sober living, and encourages her freedom in creating a fulfilled and joyful life. She rides her bike every day around the city and nearby parks, chooses to meal prep her food weekly for health, enjoys fun hobbies, and is free to come and go as she pleases. She is vibrant, excited about life, and is consistently engaged in the training activities and group meetings that she attends daily. I am happy that we are able to spend time together anytime on and offsite. It was great to get together on Memorials Day for swimming & family time. It is so nice to get to visit and talk on the phone and in person. I am extremely grateful for Soul Surgery and the difference it is making for my Mom. I am looking forward to seeing her continue on her path of recovery and create everything she desires for her life. <3

I have been coming here for over 15 years and would tell anyone struggling with opioid addiction that there is a place where you can find help and never have to suffer from debilitating pains in agony because your body is going thru withdraw and you will never have to suffer in silence trying to hide from your addiction that is always going to catch up with you so if your ready to free yourself from burden of having to chase pills and always wandering if you'll have enough to make it thru another day just hoping you can find someone who has some thing to stop those withdraws this is the place for you to find what your looking for. Methadone treatment saved my life and don't listen to what anyone tells you or what you may have heard about methadone treatment just make the call and come talk to one of the counselors to get the facts and then give it a chance because they don't expect anyone to be cured overnight but they can offer the support and start you on medication and give you more the next day and keep sticking to that plan to show up everyday youll keep getting a little bit more everyday by the end of your first week you will start to feel so much better by end of week 2 you'll be able to get a good night's rest 3rd week you won't worry because the withdraws will subside by week 4 you'll still be raising your dose but withdraws will be gone but you may still have cravings or you may not need to raise your dose any higher but whatever the case they will give you everything you need to get you drug free until you have no more cravings and you will soon wander why you waited so long to start treatment. Whatever excuses you have not to start or keep going back they can help with getting rides , filling application for access if you need help paying or can't pay they have lots of programs that might qualify you for help to get started on treatment so give them a call , you won't regret it and privacy for patience is a top priority so if your worried someone might find out like an employer or family member they do not and will not ever acknowledge if someone is or is not a patient so they can protect every person who walks thru their doors from having to worry about the choice to come there and consequences of someone finding out they make every patient sign a non disclosure agreement so if someone you know happens to show up one Day they are banned from exposing any person or patient or even talking about seeing someone while they are there for treatment so it's very discreet and you need to take a chance make the call and get your life back on track because your never to old to learn something new like how to live your life sober and happy so they will give you the tools you will need to succeed and I hope if I can convince just one person to try then these words will have been worth all it took to get them somewhere to let someone find them and if I save just one person that's enough for me and I hope to see you there one day

Update: BHT Sarah reached out to me several times to let me know they were in transition for billing and reassured me my issue had been escalated. New admin Danielle, was fast and wonderful to work with. Canyon Vista has above and beyond staff members who did not stop until all issues were resolved completely. Thank you for making this right! They keep trying to charge my FSA card monthly, unauthorized. I paid up front for the detox and resedential for my spouse. My partner only spent 4 days there earlier in the year. They wont respond to my inquiries or refund me. I sent a copy of the EOB from my insurance along with proof of charging my FSA card additionally. Still no response. Canyon Vista Recovery Center.... What can I say?! This place has helped so many people as well as myself get themselves back. No longer a shell of who we used to be, now an even better version of ourselves thanks to every single aspect of this place. From the amazing staff right from when you call, then being transported there for intake with such genuinely kind people. Most of which have their very own stories of recovery. The BHT's there are like no other! (I've been many places sadly) Everyone here lifts your spirits and TRULY wants to see you recover!! On one of my first stays here (yes there were a few. Takes time to get it right, I say.) I wanted to AMA simply because I was a brat that wanted her own brand of smokes and not the ones kindly GIVEN by the center. One of the lovely BHT's (who will remain nameless so they're not asked all the time...lol) went and bought me my own pack so I wouldn't leave. Tossed em to me and asked, " You staying now?" Damn right I stayed. Even the food is freaking delish! Prepared microwavables that I think were made by Gordon Ramsey himself! 🤣🤣 Then the residential program is that if which one could only dream of being in! The camaraderie, the stories and the relationships you build here are ones to take with you for a lifetime! ❤️💐 I know I've made some lifelong friends here! And the alumni meetings every Wednesday and Saturday at 6 are what I live for now! I will travel the hour from where I'm at to be there or else a zoom meeting it is! This is the place to go when you're ready to take control of your life again. You gotta want it and no review will make you sober. But when you're ready, CANYON VISTA, all the staff there and everything else it encompasses will see you through to the other side without any judgement. They are there to help you. Just ask. Reach out! But they could do better snack bags! BRING BACK THE REAL SODAS!! Love you all immensely! Jen Halbett 💕😘

Its not easy but its worth it! Rose and Peter were my mentors. I still keep in touch with Peter! He was the best and showed genuine care. My daughter was spiraling downward and we had very few options left. SSA accepted her on short notice. We were hesitant but hopeful, and 6 months later she is home and doing better than I could have imagined. The staff has been amazing; frequent communication and to have the open door policy to visit was such a change from her former RTC. My VA Doctor Actually Knows My Name. Thank you, Dr. Helene Rhodes Kramer! Living with rheumatoid arthritis is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. It's a brutally painful, isolating, and exhausting disease. What makes it bearable is having a VA doctor who truly knows me — not just my chart, but my name. Dr. Helene Rhodes Kramer, Rheumatologist at the Tucson VA specialty clinics, is that doctor. Recently, my pain got so bad that I went to the local VA emergency room for relief and completely forgot I had a scheduled tele-health visit with her. While I was in the ER receiving 1,000 mg of steroids shot to calm the inflammation, Dr. Kramer called because I hadn't logged into our video appointment. When she learned I was in the ER, she spoke directly with the emergency room team about my RA and my treatment. I was so proud and grateful in that moment because it proved she knows my name and my story, and that she actively defends my care. I've worked in the field of Mental Health and Addiction for 25 years. I've had multiple family members in treatment across different levels of care. I can confidently say that I would refer a family member to Desert Star because of the quality of programming, experience of the clinicians, and based on the outcomes of the clients we've sent to Desert Star.

Great Clinic with great staff!! Donna is my counselor and she’s the best!!! Everyone is friendly and I like how Melissa has really turned this place around with finally a great staff of people who love their jobs but more importantly genuinely care about their patients!! Unlike other clinics I been to never have I had so many people at one place know who u are and accept who u may once been before but who u are today by not making the same mistakes so many of us did in the past!!! Being treated fairly and when u may need someone to talk to from Lisa up front who’s always got that smile to make any ones day or the gals dispensing the medication to remind u to bring ur box on days they might be closed or Dr Tracy to see how the medication is working and. Lisa to remind everyone it’s almost 11 sometimes so u need to come earlier or in time which she is definitely the enforcer of the bunch but that is what makes this place unique and why they know every single persons name and more cause they care and u don’t find that in clinics anymore!!! Cause everywhere else they there to collect a paycheck, HERE THEY TRYING TO SAVE LIVES AND LIVES THEY SAVE EVERYDAY INCLUDING MINE, CAUSE DONNA IS THE MOTHER OF THE BUNCH TOO AND DEFINITELY I LOOK TOWARDS HER AS A MOTHERLY FUGURE TOO ME!!!💯💯💯💯❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

HoldFast is a place where God restored me from the inside out. It’s more than a recovery program, it’s a Christ-centered brotherhood that helped me rebuild my life on solid ground. Through prayer, Scripture, and real accountability, I learned how to cling to God in every season and rediscovered my identity in Christ building a life of sobriety. I leave HoldFast renewed, anchored, and grateful for the grace and strength I found here, taking it one day at a time.

Combination of Neuro Faith' Therapist, Christian based teachings. Listening and sharing each clients experiences and thoughts about we were being taught in group meetings. Also encouraged to go to AA meetings, Church and Bible Study. I haven't sobriety for 96 Days straight since i was 15. Daily prayer and meditation combined with the Hold Fast App daily reflection schedule allowed me to stay focused on my goals of God and sobriety. I knew no one in Prescott when I moved here, now I have a brotherhood and Fellowship of Men that 100% i can count on. I am currently on Step 11 and plan on Sponsoring others as well as continuing in volunteering for others needs and bringing others to sobriety. I have a beautiful new life now that. Hold Fast brought me back ty rean honest self. Thank you Staff. I am now closer with my family.

Scottsdale Providence saved my life. As a lifelong drug addict I didn’t feel that there was much hope. I thought it was going to be awkward being a bit on the older side at 48, but neither preconceived notion was true. The staff at the residential house was warm and inviting. They reassessed and modified my medications which made me feel so much better. The staff immediately formed a treatment plan taking into account my goals. The group sessions are amazing and include everything from cutting edge therapy, traditional therapy, yoga, meditation, and daily check ins. The ono on one sessions are with highly skilled and compassionate therapists who use a variety of techniques. Once leaving residential and stepping down to PHP at the treatment center the amazing care continues. The group sessions are intense and very engaging. The one on one sessions continue to be facilitated by highly skilled therapists. Many of the staff are in recovery themselves. They treat everyone equally no matter what race, sect, political views, pronouns, religion, rich, poor, old, and young. I suffered a horrific family tragedy that occurred while I was still in treatment. The SPRC staff swooped in and offered me all the help and extra therapy I needed. They modified my treatment plan to account for this change. They even helped me get my affairs in order. And now that I’m a few days from completion, they have made sure everything I need to be successful is in place. From amazing facilities to having the very best staff, this place is second to none. It isn’t just a country club, they push you to work towards your goals and keep close eye on your progress. If you want to sit in a pool and have your hand held for 90 days, this is not the place. If you are serious about getting well and ready to put on the work, SPRC is the only choice in Phoenix.

We love Banner we went in today for my daughters first MRI recently diagnosed with epilepsy and has gone through some testing which had previously caused anxiousness. The staff here is amazing! From today’s visits from the nurse who was with other staff who were students and there were many people in the room. They all were so pleasant including the anesthesiologist and made my daughter feel so very safe leaving me to get her MRI done under sedation with the nursing staff. From waking up from anesthesia to educating me on what to look for at home. I was so pleased. She sees the neurology team there too and they’ve been so wonderful as well.

That kind of attention and coordination doesn't just feel good emotionally — it improves my overall well-being and my medical outcomes. It's the difference between feeling like "just another patient" and feeling truly seen. Dr. Kramer is my VA doctor because she knows who I am. I have been to many VA facilities, this one is the by far the worst to me, back in 2021 I went there because I was a combat Veteran with PTSD and TBI struggling with Alcoholism since combat, been sober for over 3 years now, but I remember when I went to the E.R. in Tuscon (I had Alcoholic Keto) I was just trying to rest on the floor out of the way (because of pain) the wait was so long. I was not bugging anyone, being loud or disruptive in any way. I remember when I was lying there struggling in pain the security guards thought it would be funny to throw peanuts over a wall that was there. I remember they were laughing and joking, there was a few that hit me and one in the face, this really happened, however I was in so much intense pain at the time I didnt care. I am writing this review years later, because it still bugs me to this day that I got treated like that. Its a horrible way to treat someone who gave 2 years of their life serving in combat in Iraq, 1 year in South Korea,9 years total service. I really think Tuscon VA could benifit more on trying to work with Alcoholics better, I will NEVER EVER step foot in Tuscon VA again. I also got transported to a Civilian hospital that I dont remember consenting to, woke up there and realized Im not in the VA, I couldnt afford a Civilian hospital stay, so I left AMA but I was really far from my home, I had no money or a ride and stranded at 11pm. I came here to Loma linda VA and they were able to help me and get me back on my feet, I am greatful for Loma Linda VA California they know how to work with struggling Veterans

I was fortunately able to stay & heal at Meadows Ranch. My stay was in August 2018. I still had IOP & more, over a year, and today I don’t suffer the shame, fear, anger & hatred for a body that just wants to survive, with a mind that blinded by its needs & the overwhelming brainwashing of our commercialized society. It took MR, to break the lock my past had keeping me under the delusion. I think of my experiences there often. They saved my life. A life that had been anguish, now nearly peaceful & even sometimes happy.

While the directors are awful & there is an abusive 'trauma therapist' (she yelled at an 11-year-old to grow up) but this is the nicest inpatient I have been to. Consider the fact I was in multiple abusive inpatients that took attorneys to get out. Here we get to go outside and the doors are not locked. It doesn't feel like a hospital, just a big house. I have been able to process the trauma from this place & when I was re-united with my family after a year of treatment centers I finally healed. There are some bhc's that are amazing, while others are awful. Tina the therapist & the psychotherapist & the relaxation room therapist & tai chi instructor are amazing, kind people. Inpatient facilities are usually cold locked hospital floors. I loved sitting outside every morning, and I even got to swim with an NG tube. While I didnt make friends here I still had my happy moments along with my bad moments. also thank you to the kind nurses, they truely make a difference. I attended summer of 2023.

I was at the Meadows Ranch this past summer, June-July of 2023. I have only good things to say about the program. My experience was life changing. That being said, I was desperate to recover. I think that, more than anything, is why I had such a positive experience. I also participated in as many optional challenges as possible. I opted in for survivor's week and family week. Honestly family week changed the way my husband and I treat each other and helped us both understand what the other was experiencing. We both agree that it saved our marriage.

Renaissance Recovery is one of those places that that you will never forget. To call it special, or helpful would be the understatement of the decade. The director of RCC is named Steve, but it really should be Life Saver. I do not say this lightly. Not only did Steve help save my actual life, but my family life as well. I have heard countless testimonies of him doing so for hundreds if not thousands of others. Steve is one of those guys that is absurdly passionate and loves what he does. He also treats you with the utmost respect and is brutally honest. As a matter of fact, the entire staff at RCC handles themselves in this manner. At RCC I was able to not only work on myself, but I was able to work towards finding the root cause of my issues and dealing with them head on. I would HIGHLY recommend RCC to anyone that is struggling and needs help. If you are willing to put in the work, RCC is the best place around.
