The trauma group runs three times a week, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. I'd been to programs that mentioned trauma-informed care and then gave it maybe one session. Here it was built into the schedule in a real way, with a dedicated trauma therapist. That frequency made a difference because you actually had time to open something up and then come back to it before too much time passed.

Overall great faculty, would definitely recommend patients to commit to PHP IOP here, all the facilitators are super helpful and hold very informational groups, Dr Nicole and Pastor Dan played a big role in my recovery and pushed me to do better every step of the way I highly recommend seeking help advice and opinions from them as well.

This is a dicey review - only because everybody has their own different experiences with places like this. My personal opinion, don’t take reviews to heart. Everyone’s experience is different. Mine personally, was amazing. The staff was amazing. I’ve never stayed in a treatment center that long in my life… if you knew me, that would say a lot. I have been in and out of these facilities over 15+ years. It was very clean, I love the food, The rooms in residential were like a hotel room. They were beautiful. Best of all, the staff. From the techs all the way up to leadership, great people! The cleaning staff were on point! Huge shout out to Jordyn, Ashley, Anthony, Nick V, Roni, Rick, Penny, Corey, Harriet, Shay, Matt, and most of all my therapist, Jason. I don’t think I’ve would’ve stayed the amount of time that I stayed without my therapist, Jason. Along with the support from the staff. It was a great group of people when I was there. Truly amazing people, that wanted better. The only cons I can say about this facility, is the lack of communication between the departments. Nursing, techs and leadership are all on different communication levels, which can be become very complicated for the client. They should be more aware of medications that people need daily, so clients are not running out of medication’s… The techs need to be trained across the board on what’s right and what’s not right. Each tech had a different opinion or decision on something, with certain people.. That was the only real negative experience I had at this facility. Everything else was great, the staff and the clients! As I said, don’t take peoples reviews to heart. Everyone has a different experience when they’re going through this type of thing. I am very grateful for the support I had at The Haven in West Palm Beach. Truly. 🙏

This is by far the best place to go for treatment! All of the staff genuinely cares about each individual client and they take the time to make sure you are always taken care of. The groups are phenomenal and I was able to really find myself here. I love each and every person that works here and I was able to complete the program with a sense of peace and confidence. One of the best rehabs I have been too. I have been to. Therapist Maria is amazing. There is always more than 1 group to choose from and information is broken down in interactive and easy to understand way. Groups are led by very knowledgeable therapist. Staff and nurses amazing as well! Director does not hide behind a door. Beds are comfy, tvs in room , gym and pool. Food isn't bad. They meet you were you are but dont leave u there.

White Sands saved my life in February and continues to do so to this day. If you are looking for help and are finally willing to reach out, there is no better option than White Sands. The staff at White Sands, many of whom are serving others as a way to they themselves stay clean, are absolutely amazing. Their desire is to pick you up, dust you off, and watch you grow. From the moment you arrive at inpatient they do their best to get you in and comfortable. Each day gets easier and there is not one person who couldn't benefit from their MRT program. In outpatient the IOP program and individual counseling teaches and strengthens you by offering a different way to live. The counselors truly care and want to see you succeed. It isn't easy to ask for help and it isn't a sign of weakness. If you're willing to admit you need help, White Sands is the place to turn to.

The amount of love this treatment center showed me truly saved my life. Before I went to there detox and residential program on singer island I truly wanted to die. When I arrived to the island that sings I immediately got involved with there LIV program and suddenly I slowly became motivated to change and made a decision to receive help. The LIV program they offer is what makes this center different and in my opinion better than the rest. We went surfing, kayaking, on nature walks, we watched the sun rise on the beach and mediated every morning, animal petting zoos, rock climbing, played pickle ball and so much more. I’ll never forget the night they took us to see the full moon rise and we saw 3 shooting stars on the beach. I did not realize at the time but this helped me develop a healthy ROUTINE and I still have that routine today. They had music groups, H&I came in every night to bring meetings , the food was great and the staff was absolutely amazing and welcomed me with warm open arms and accepted me.The community and friends I made here became family to me and I still keep in contact with them today, but this was just the start! After I completed the 30 days. I continued treatment at crystal lake healing because it was suggested and I was determined to do anything to change my old ways. The staff here was truly outstanding such as Troy who is the director of the LIV program. The tecs such as Anthony, Henry, Rebecca, Lex, Christina, BRIE, Elexus, Ryan and so many more. The therapist and group coordinators like John Po, Erica, Mary Kate to name a few. Mason the operations coordinator is a great man, he even ordered a guitar for me. The nurses and doctors, they all helped me rewire my brain and develop new healthy patterns. I truly love all of them it’s because of them that I fell back in love with LIFE and no longer want to die. At this point I was fully plugged in with more recovery support then I ever had. When I graduated the program they offered an Alumnni program where we meet every two weeks and have special alumni events for the graduates. This is ran by the amazing TAYLOR who does such a great job. I’ve never seen a treatment place have such a great aftercare program like this. Taylor has taking us night time snorkeling 🤿, volley ball events back at singer island, and on Memorial Day weekend we all went to peanut island for a bbq where one of the owners took us on his boat to get us on the island. We have another fun event coming up and I heard they are planning something special for Halloween! That’s what makes this place different. You don’t see what I just mentioned at other treat ment centers. You won’t get the love, support, and people who really care like them anywhere else in the world. Take it from someone who’s struggled with heroine addiction for 17 years and is just getting it right now. If your reading this and want to experience the story I just told in your own way. So grateful for Banyan! I went into detox for kratom/7oh and was so overwhelmed by the caring staff and nurses! Every single staff member and nurse went above and beyond to take care of me. I refused the medicine they offer to help with detoxing so i got really sick but they did everything else they could to make me as comfortable as possible. If anyone is considering going into detox for Kratom products i would recommend listening to the nurses and taking the medicine as prescribed. It took me over a month to get my strength back so i made it much harder on myself. I am now 3 months substance and alcohol free anf feel better than i have in years. Banyan was a life changing month long experience, this was my first time in treatment and I do believe it’ll be my last. My brain feels refreshed after this experience. From the nurses to the BHT’s, everyone was extremely kind and attentive. I had Shay as my case manager and she was very caring, encouraging and helpful every step of the way even leading into my aftercare. I was also assigned a great therapist, Rae, who I will surely remember forever. All around a wonderful experience that I would wish for anyone who is struggling with mental health or substance abuse.

I can honestly say Transitions is the best recovery center I’ve ever been to. They are definitely not like other rehabs and I’ve been to many different places. What sets them different: there’s no judgement, you actually see your therapist, a psychiatrist, case management, and medical doctor 1-2 times a week, the groups are very beneficial and THEY TRULY CARE!! That’s by far the biggest thing. Staff all go out there way to care for us whether big or small. Housing is beautiful spacious apartments and weekends we do deep cleaning. Everyday there’s an outside meeting and H&I on property everyday but Sunday. Sundays we do outings as a community like the beach, top golf, or bowling. It’s a great way for us to all have fun at the end of the week. Shout out to the staff: Lori-Ann, Austin, Will, Maxime, Michael, Winnie, Summer, Tay Tay, Manny, Art, Dr. K, Jeff, Dr. Seely, Jennifer, and Shelly. Yall make this program worth being apart of. I would HIGHLY recommend joining this fellowship! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The individuals who brought her food, a warm blanket, cleaned up after her and then told her it was ok and reminded her she wasn’t alone. We noticed. We noticed the little things. And most importantly we noticed the love. You may not realize how much those moments meant, but they meant everything to us. When we couldn’t be there. I came through once, had an amazing g experience, and after a while of doing well, I unfortunately fell off. When I was finally ready for help again, I had moved back to Ohio, and the only way I’d go back to treatment is if I came back to Recovery Unplugged in South Florida. Clinical staff is phenomenal, my therapist Brendan was amazing, and I HAVE to give a shoutout to alumni team, who still keep me a part of a community long after finishing treatment. My alumni coordinator, Tonya, is absolutely amazing. She makes sure that I still stay a part of an amazing community long after I finished treatment. To her, what she does is clearly a lot more than just a job. She helps so many people, it’s incredible. Much love RU!!!

Comprehensive Wellness Center played a major role in my recovery. They got me on the correct medications that were monitored and educated me about the amygdala hijack. What my brain was doing to me before I drank or drugged. Also, I was educated on great breathing exercises and grounding techniques that still help me today. They have amazing staff along with very clean places to do residential. I felt comfortable and safe and enjoyed groups. Their catered food is very good, also, they gave me a gift card so I can buy and cook what I enjoyed. I continued my sobriety after being successfully discharged and now live in their Sober home where I am accounted for, committed to and an active member of AA. I’ve been at AWA for 7 months and a miracle it was, and at first you might hate it—you might not want to come. In my experience, I was hesitant, skeptical, and filled with anxiety because of my past experiences with mental health facilities. But AWA is different. It’s such a great clinic, and I’ve learned to love it here. The staff truly care about you and your family, and you’ll come to feel connected with the other clients. Some days you won’t want to go because it’s 20 hours a week and you might be tired, but if you engage and take your treatment seriously, you’ll find that coming every day is worth it. Yes, there is little to no drama, and even when it happens, no one holds a grudge for long because we’re always there for each other. Plus, they won’t leave you in the dark after treatment—they make sure you have a plan afterward. They also let clients be very involved in their treatment plans, and many of the rules can change if the majority of the group agrees. I also love how inclusive AWA is—from race, to gender, to sexuality. The staff will help and counsel you even if you’re crying in group. I know that sounds obvious, but the facility I used to be in didn’t do that. I remember crying in group and one of the facilitators pulled me out to counsel me, and when I was overstimulated, they gave me earplugs to help. At the end of my treatment, I would say AWA definitely helped heal me, and I would recommend it to anyone going through mental health problems it has been truly a blessing.

I spent 60 days as PHP and 30 days as IOP at this rehab facility. There’s always 2 group rooms to choose from with activation of group facilitators and therapists that run the groups. While here I spent most of my time Scott’s group in the morning. He does a great job of making sure that you are correctly able to identify what got you here in the first place like the fact that being in rehab is not a choice. It is a result of your addiction. Your recovery is the choice you get to make if you put in the work. If you feel that you’ll get more benefit from learning the psychology of things then Dr. B’s group is perfect for you in the other room. And if you want a variety of techniques Jamie is amazing at balance including things such as music therapy, Ted Talks, and recovery speakers in addition to the regular conversations. Is Luminous perfect and issue free? NO. However, it is here to test you and make sure that while you’re under their protective bubble of life you learn to deal with life, cravings, and coping mechanisms the right way. There are many employees who are here for all the right reasons. Some have been through rehab and dealt with addiction themselves and are able to give you insight into what the correct steps to make are without all the fluff like the lead tech Novak who assists in the majority of day to day operations. My case manager Elise goes above and beyond her scope of her job title. While clients speak amongst themselves about issues they may be having, she is brought up as the one who often helps clients that aren’t under her management and picks up slack for other ppl who try to redirect you to someone else for assistance. It’s no wonder that when the new case manager came in they had her shadow her rather than the more senior case manager. Overall I thank Luminous and the entire staff and clients who all contributed to my Successful rehab completion. They have assisted me in my discovery phase and have put me on the path to recovery. I can now claim to be 90 days clean and sober for the first time in over 20 years. Thanks again.

So I think that yaz is the one who makes it happen at this facility and she is very helpful and very friendly I posted a post earlier that I may have been a little off and I apologize for that one so everyone is got a lot on their plate here and us addicts always want what we want and we want it now so there job is very stressful and it ain't no walk in the park to deal with us so I just wanted to say thank you luminous care for your help and support through my recovery here it has been a pleasure to meet each and every one of you counselor and techs.

Beachside was a very comfortable, clean, and calming environment. The staff were friendly and the small client population made for friendships and companionship. The nursing staff were also friendly and efficient. The food was good and options were offered at every meal. The single occupancy rooms were spacious and comfortable. The therapeutic sessions were informative and helpful. There were numerous leisure activities, as well. The intake process was lengthy and I urge the client to read the forms before signing. Beachside is worth looking into for residential rehab.

I was just bragging about Lakeview and pointing a friend in this direction, and i was shocked to see even one negative review. Lakeview was amazing, it saved my life. It felt like a vacation, Its practically a health resort. It was so peaceful and serene. I felt I was cared about when cared for, I felt like they were actually invested in my recovery rather than feeling like a number. From the nurses to the blue-shirts, the therapists, the kitchen staff... everyone was so nice and supportive. The food was amazing, honestly. The pool was nice, gym was immaculate. Yoga instructors were awesome. We went for surfing lessons, went out to a horse farm to pet and feed some little horses. You have a massage therapist come in, and someone to come in for haircuts. Theres even a little zen meditation room. The lake on the men's side is full of life, little ducks and geese, big bass and turtles you can feed - although I don't think you're supposed to, anyways. The facility is nice, its got a real pretty view, good food, great staff. I cant imagine how they could go wrong. If I had to complain, the apartments, the PHP after the inpatient - the last period before you graduate... the apartments kind of sucked, but the comradery, the fellowship there.. it was a great place to transition back into the real world. And the girl at the window that took the cigarette and vape orders seemed like she was always having a bad day... but still. This place is amazing. I love Lakeview. I brag about my experience there. I highly recommend it.

I was a patient at Lakeview from October 20, 2002, to November 19, 2002. I was there during Lakeview's infancy, when there was only one building, a couple of picnic tables, a basketball hoop and a beat up volleyball net. I can tell you, with great conviction, their program works. Lakeview gave me the tools I needed to learn how to live a sober life. I still use those tools today, and I have been sober for just over 23 years now. I wish I could come down there and speak to the people currently residing there and tell them it's possible to turn theirs lives around. I am living proof of that, Thank you, Lakeview.
