A family member of mine discovered Jaywalker from a friend. I had no concept of sobriety and had spent the better half of two decades struggling with drug abuse and alcoholism. I was ready to give up.
I walked through the doors of Jaywalker Lodge in August 2024 and never looked back. Jaywalker gave me all of the tools, support, and motivation to give my life purpose again and LIVE.
I would challenge anyone who struggles with this disease to find a better treatment center. It will work for you, if you want it.

This was a once in a lifetime experience I never would in a million years have expected I would have and love. Yes it’s a rehab and is a big commitment, most notably the financial aspect. Yet it was totally worth the investment both in terms of all the money me and my family spent for me to go through yet even more so the time. I had gone to one treatment center before I ended up doing Jaywalker just over a year ago. The difference was I really felt the love and support from pretty much everyone involved with Jaywalker from the time that I toured throughout my stay. This is for me the most important part of what speaks volumes about Jaywalker. From the staff to the alumni program to the guys I went through with it doesn’t get much better. All I have to say really is if you give yourself over to the program and allow it to work it can prove life changing. I was beyond lucky that I happened to have grown up and still be living in the Aspen area where Jaywalker is located. I am forever grateful that I finally came to terms with my addiction and got myself checked in and stuck with it. I never gave sobriety a real thought whatsoever until my life blew up in my face. Over sixteen months later having stuck with it my life is so much better than I could have imagined and it’s all thanks to Jaywalker. The biggest thing I would say about Jaywalker is if you do it and get through your time you’ll be a part of an amazing alumni program that for me is like an extended family of mine. So many of these guys for me are like brothers at this point and it would have never happened had I not just grown the hell up and confronted my problems. I could rave all day long about Jaywalker suffice it to say I highly recommend it.

I’ve read some other comments on here and I sincerely don’t at all share in the same experience with staff. All the staff I have encountered old and new staff, have always been kind, helpful, and encouraging. I’ve had a sick kiddo since 2019 and there hasn’t been a time that I’ve come to dose that they don’t ask how my child is with genuine concern for his well being and the well being of my family. I had Julie as a counselor for years and the clinic helped me get tell-counseling just to ensure I could meet all my expectations and still be there for my son and be able to work full time. I’ve been clean since the day I started and so I’ve never had an issue and they’ve never given me issue, even when I repeatedly have missed quarterly assessments because I’m stuck at work, they just laugh a bit, give me a hard time every so often and reschedule me, nothing but love and holding me accountable in a kind and respectful manner. Some people say MAT is just trading one addiction for another. I will always disagree, it’s trading a costly addiction (not just financially) for the freedom to get your life back together, to be of sound and sober thought, and go back to be a contributor to society rather than a burden and staying in a victim mentality. I believe in you, if you’re reading this. Treatment saved my life, so if you’re reading these comments trying to find out if it’s right for you, here’s what I will say. With MAT, you know it’s safe and where it’s coming from. You’ll be sober and not running from an inevitable withdrawal that you know is coming and leads you to do unimaginable things to avoid it even if it hurts people you love. Try it, if you try it and it’s still not right for you, then at least you made the attempt, but don’t let a couple bad comments about this clinic stop you from getting the help you need. The stigma around addiction needs to stop. No one is immune to it, NO ONE! I’ll repeat again, my experience with all of the staff from the UA man who is the sweetest most helpful guy, to the nurses had been nothing but positive and supportive. The only time I’ve seen an issue is with those not truly caring about getting sober and STAYING SOBER. You can’t come in and expect to just get a quick fix in between highs. That’s not what this is for and they will not enable you, that’s because I truly believe they genuinely want to see people get better. That’s my two cents, take it or leave it. I owe my life to New Seasons and I am thankful I took that first step, as hard as it was, I found a group of people within the clinic so kind and we all support eachother, listen to eachother and encourage one another, those of us who are truly trying. I hit 7 years sober on July 18th, 2025. And I am damn proud of that. I lost my brother to fentanyl in 2022, so again, even if you believe it’s trading one thing for another, the trade off is still knowing where it came from. My brother didn’t, and he died for it because he was too embarrassed to get help. Please, try it! All good vibes and love to anyone reading this trying to decide what to do next…I’ve been there. I have been going to this clinic for awhile now. You get out of it what you put Into it. I personally don't have any support system or family to help me with anything but Tara at New Season's has been amazing. You can tell she really really cares about her clients and definitely goes above and beyond to try to help in anyway she can. I don't think I'd still be going if it wasn't for her and now I don't feel so lost and alone either. They have made alot of changes there I believe people should give this place a try now if they've gone there before and had a negative experience.

Jenna is amazing, she helped me when I had no direction to turn for help. Aaron has a heart to serve others and the entire team worked to find solutions for all my needs. It was a good place to be referred to by someone who was getting help there already. They don't just help those that are in the legal system, they help families who are not able to help themselves right away. The resources they have are phenomenal, the dedication is excellent and I have enjoyed getting to know them. Summit womans recovery is phenomenal! I just celebrated 4 years sober and without SWR, I wouldn't be where I am today. The only reason there isn't more awesome reviews is because of the stigma around admitting online you went to a recovery program. If you have a problem with drugs or alcohol you will get the tools to get through it with SWR.

Summit Women’s Recovery was instrumental in my transition from inpatient treatment to moving home. Jeanette and Susanne are amazing, insightful therapists who assisted my entire family in building trust with each other and mending resentments. I have been sober a year and a half and owe a debt of gratitude to SWR for helping me to forgive myself and navigate a new, happy, peaceful life in recovery. I stayed nearly a year at Summit Women’s Recovery for the support, camaraderie and friendships I found there. I can’t praise Summit Women’s Recovery enough for the work they are doing!

Seems like since it turned into Axis I have had a much harder time getting appointments etc. I recently went in the office to update some info and thank God there was a new receptionist. The last one gave me so much anxiety I avoided her. Not good for a mental health clinic. I would have been happier checking in online than deal with her. Sadly though I had been put on a waiting list a couple months ago for a therapist. Although I have been patient over two years. And then found out there was actually in person appointment available yet no one contacted me. I hope to see improvements continue. I'm grateful for what ever helps I get, but another thing since Axis took over is the emphasis on payment. I can't get an appointment with the therapist now until I get on sliding fee.

Excellent resource for this community, with wonderful care! The staff cares about the patients and will do everything they can to help each one of them. I felt comfortable reaching out to them for help, I went through their counseling and medication management. I never felt rushed or disregarded when speaking with the staff about my concerns for their treatment, they were really open about it.

I’ve been to a lot of different treatment centers, sober livings, therapists, etc over the years and now work in the industry myself. I attended the CMHS IOP after struggling with a depressive episode and was super impressed by the professionalism, organization, and kindness of every staff member I interacted with. Molly Barth is super educated and compassionate. The groups felt very intentional and well-planned. Definitely recommend!

Soooo here's the deal. This program is not easy. Well, Serenity was kinda easy (I did both of their programs). I hear they've changed some things in the long term program since I was there, but I'm sure it's still not easy, or fun. I went in March of 2020 after a series of unfortunate life choices including two DUIs and discovering my inability to get sober "on my own". I had burned every bridge with my friends and family, I was as down and out as they come. My probation officer said "jail or rehab" and when I read about Stout Street, I immediately knew deep down that it was what I needed, despite the mixed reviews. I completed the inpatient portion of the program (18 months). During my time there, I was forced to face myself in a way that I desperately needed. I COULD sit here and rage about the aspects of the program that were - arguably - too intense. But I'd much rather tell you this: Stout Street changed my life. Because of the "job" I was assigned while I was in the program as the Medical Clerk (during COVID too! It was wild!), I had the necessary experience that I needed to apply for and gain access to a job in the addiction treatment field, where I still work to this day. Must more importantly, Stout was the TIME OUT I needed from life. It is a truly precious thing to have a year and a half to work on yourself. No bullshit. To not stress about bills, bad relationships and people from your time in active addiction, and to just SHUT OFF THE NOISE - is a GIFT. I am so grateful that I went here because it was the beginning of a beautiful life that I am now really creating, day by day. Had I not gone to Stout Street, I would be dead or likely in ANOTHER crappy codependent relationship. I can proudly say that I've been single since I went in, and five years later my life is looking more promising and feeling more stable and fulfilling than I ever thought would be possible. I always thought I would die before 30. That was my trajectory. Until Stout picked me up and shook me HARD with the reality of life, showed me that I CAN stand on my own two feet, and gave me ~H O P E~. If you're looking for a cushy rehab where you get loads of free time, someone to sign off on the lies you tell yourself to keep getting high or drunk, quick tips, and comfort in recovery... Look somewhere else. This place right here will wake you up and teach you how to be uncomfortable. I can't even tell you how many people bounced out after a month or so. It takes guts to work through this program. It's worth every tear, every WC, every write up, and every tough confrontation. I am only now (5 years in the future lol) really seeing and reaping the benefits of my time here. The more time that goes on, the more tools that I find myself using to navigate life. Tools that I gained from Stout Street. The classes that they offer during your time are life-changing. I still do Inner Child work to this day, and I will do it until the day I die because it is the only thing that has helped me heal certain parts of myself from abuse and self-loathing. In all transparancy, I did not graduate the program. I had a relapse in the sober living phase of the program and ended up going to another facility briefly to get back on track. But my drive, my THIRST for self awareness and self love - those came from Stout Street. I am now an HONEST person because of this place. Sometimes you have to break down in order to rebuild, and this is a place where you can do that safely. A few staff members had an incredible impact on me, and now we're coming full circle and I'm working alongside them to help others find their way into recovery at the outpatient clinic where I work. I can't say thank you enough, Stout Street. I also can't say I haven't talked a LOT of shit on this program.... Because it was HARD. But the gifts they offer are undeniable. I love seeing my "brothers and sisters" from Stout out here thriving. It is truly incredible and if you really want to change your life, you should go here. Trust the process. If I could do it, so can you.

This is the best place for whatever you have going on in your life. I am on supervision and use them for my classes, one on ones, and testing. The staff is super nice and helpful. They go above and beyond with extra case management services and even helped with my resume. They will know you by first name and stay in touch when it counts. They have a bunch of online sessions available too if you can’t drive or need to meet with someone remotely. Don’t waste your time anywhere else.

This center is unlike any other. From day one, I felt genuinely cared for on every level — emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. The staff took time to understand me as a whole person, not just my symptoms, and the environment is warm, intimate, and deeply supportive.

Got financially discharged after 10 days because my insurance was not verified for the entire visit. They did not do their due diligence and properly verify my insurance. They did not fight or appeal it, they just asked me to leave. Not only was I mortified, I was also left broke and still broken. I cashed out my 401k to go to this rehab, and paid the deductible for my plan which was either $7500 or $10,000. I trusted them to help me in my journey to sobriety but instead they added to my list of traumatic events and sadly I am still fighting to that same goal. They did not care about me as a person, they only seen me as a dollar and when I read the reviews it makes me mad that I was not extended this warm caring that so many are talking about. I tried to leave a BBB complaint or review but this facility doesn't participate so the next best way to make sure I can help to make it never happen again is an accurate review.

This year I celebrated 6 years clean after over a decade of drug use. Whenever I talk about my recovery, Mary, the woman who runs this rehab and sober living will always come into that conversation.
I was so scared to go into rehab for the first time and I knew my family was too. I’m so happy I chose New Beginnings. Everything about the place from the classes to the different ways they teach you to get through withdrawals and how to manifest a beautiful life, clean. Her words will forever echo in my heart for the rest of my life. There is something truly special about this place.

I can not say enough about how the team at Healing Pines saves lives and heals participants. My son spent 30 days at healing pines and returned as a sober, calm, insightful person able to converse in a healthy way. From day one, I felt like more than just another client — I was part of a small, supportive community where every person, staff and client alike, genuinely cares about your recovery.
Because of the small client number, there’s so much one-on-one time with counselors and staff. Each team member is incredibly knowledgeable in all aspects of recovery — many have walked this path themselves, which makes their insight and empathy feel real and grounded. The program isn’t “one size fits all” — it’s completely tailored to you, blending clinical therapy, spiritual work, and 12-step approaches in whatever way fits your journey best.
The property itself is breathtaking — 40 acres of peace, with trails that feel designed for sunrises and sunsets. The living spaces are comfortable and spacious, and you never feel cramped or overlooked. And then there are the animals — three miniature donkeys (Kiwi, Andy, and Quill!) who are genuinely therapeutic and always seem to know when you need a moment of quiet connection. Plus, a few amazing dogs and cats that add a comforting sense of home.
The curriculum is top-notch — both challenging and deeply healing. I especially loved the weekly music and art therapy sessions that gave us a creative way to process the tougher parts of recovery. Physical fitness is also a big focus here — we went to the gym five days a week, and Zach helped design personalized workout plans to rebuild strength and confidence. On top of that, there’s an indoor and outdoor pickleball court (yes, two!) and even a frisbee golf course, which we used for group therapy. There’s something powerful about talking through life while throwing a frisbee under the Colorado sky.
Evenings often ended with fireside chats — open, judgment-free conversations where we could just be ourselves, laugh, and remember what real connection feels like. For me, those moments redefined what it means to have fun and feel safe in sobriety.
What really sets Healing Pines apart, though, is the staff. Paul, the founder, has built an incredible team of people who radiate love, knowledge, and kindness. You can tell they’re here for the right reasons — their dedication and selflessness shine through in everything they do.

They have tvs in every room and good food. Lots of smoke breaks and they have a good medication management for symptoms. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a painless detox

This is a good place to work. We’ve had some turn over, yes, but the staff I have been working with for the last 8 months is very caring and all of us work hard to ensure proper patient care and safety. Most of the patients have a very positive experience here. I am proud of our nurses, and we all respect one another. I have not heard of anyone talking badly about anyone who works here. Every place has their challenges as I have worked at a few addiction treatment centers, and Banyan is one of the best places to work. I am responding to an inaccurate review that was left on here by a scorned nurse who was let go for being confrontational with a patient, and it was so unprofessional and incorrect. We have never had lice or bed bugs and that’s 100% a lie left on here by one nurse. I have referred other nurses and they’ve all been happy to be here.

I give my life to this place. I came here in July 2025. I was lost. I lost my family. I lost the ability to live in society. I’d spent most of my time behind bars the past couple years, drugs had taking everything from me! Coming to Narconon I learned how to accept a lot of the things that I’ve done, to the people I’d hurt and to myself. I gained the ability to move forward, to confront a lot of the issues and become myself again. The new live detoxification help get all the residual out of my body and give me a healthy start so that I can move forward in the next part of the course. The objective course taught me how to be patient to not act on old behavior but to truly be there and to confront all situations in my life! This place saved my best friend's life. Almost 2 years ago she decided to go to Narconon. It was the hardest decision she ever made and the hardest thing she has ever done. It changed her in ways she only prayed for. She has always been a fighter. But now, she is strong in such a way that she doesn't constantly need to fight. She faces everything head-on.
