I’m not sure why this hospital have two stars but goddamnit I’m gonna be the first person to give it 10 stars. MY DOCTOR was top-tier as Sweet and understanding and doctor son had the most sweetest spirit and he was understanding the night. Staff is top-tier and they make me laugh while I was having a mental breakdown beyond exhaustion. I really enjoyed my stay there and I met Some beautiful strong women who’s more stronger than me I really really like MY DOCTOR and I hope to see him again If life gets too much for me, I needed to take a break for my busy life just to deal with my emotions And staff got them together for me. I’m glad I have A place to go when I’m Overwhelmed and the staff is so respectful the daytime staff in the night I honestly don’t understand the bad reviews …… I wish I would’ve stayed longer just to be with MY DOCTOR nevertheless, I’m giving them 10 star …. I stayed there for 5 days and I think they deserve a honest review, like every place they have a few issues but over all it Was Clean the Food was Very Good and they washed My Clothes and had them in room when I was given One, Overall it is a Very Good Place for Someone Who is in A Crisis and Needs Held. Chasity is great i would be gone now if not for her. *** Update*** So Chasity is still great but. Don't call the helpline I called wanting to speak to someone and they just kept asking if I wanted to Kill myself or someone else after answer several times and asking to speak with someone, I got a surprise at my door. Sherriff department placing me in cuffs in front of all my neighbors and took me to the inpatient where they took me cause they don't understand how insulin is done. Then they kept me 5 days and straight stopped me on 20 some odd medicines. I'm stilled messed up from it a yr ago. Now I'm suing. Good luck if you have to go.

Went here end of 2019 to the beginning of 2020 & I've been sober since & definitely grateful for that. I always recommend this place to others struggling with addiction. Because this place really gives you a safe environment to get clean & make the changes on yourself & away from people & things to build that life without using anymore. They were able to make something easier, that most places make harder. After 20 years of doping, I spent 6 months here. It saved my life! I'm not saying it's for everyone. If you're sensitive, you won't make it anywhere.

My daughter’s therapist has been there for her each and every time we have needed her no matter the time of day. She is interested, caring, knowledgeable, and she is involved in every aspect of treatment. Also, she never fails to follow up with her. A wonderful establishment. This place was a huge stepping stone in my husband’s recovery. When he showed up to midway, he was a broken man, but he had an open mind and wanted better. The women at this establishment fed that want until it became a need. They nourished the seed in him until he grew and he passes that love that they instilled in him to the young men that are beginning their roads today by going back and sharing his story. GA Pines is all about recovery and I can say with confidence how VALUABLE GA PINES services are because I am a living example! I have been in recovery since 2013. I have been working here since 2014 in Administration. I have found my niche because I am doing something I know about. Before Recovery I was lost, I felt like I was watching life from the window of a house I could not leave. This place has helped me so much!! It’s a really great place to go to if you need Help. Ms.Poole is so awesome she has helped me more than I can even count. In 2017 when I started coming Ms.Poole was my counselor and she was amazing! She always made sure I was okay and she listened to me when I I was going through hard times and she really cared. She always tried to help me. She even bought me me and my kids food for me to take to my house when I was going through a hard time. Now she is the Director and she is amazing at that. She makes sure that everything is by the book and she makes sure all of her patients are treated how they are supposed to be!!! I love Ms Poole! She is amazing And Ms Twanna is my counselor now and she is amazing also she really cares about her patients. Whatever anybody is going through she will listen to you and try to help you in anyway that she can. I love her too!!! This place is awesome if you need help they will really try their best to do whatever they can to help!! If you are looking for help, this is the place to go. I have never met anyone as dedicated as Ms. Poole. I came there several years ago in a bad way and they did not have to take a chance on me but they did. The empathy, trust, and respect I was treated with bolstered my desire to succede at this program and I have. It has changed my life and I am forever greatful to Ms. Poole, Sonya, and the rest of the wonderful staff there. Well, I moved to Cairo ga 3 years ago from Michigan. The first time visiting the VA in Tallahassee 3 years ago right after I moved here was a shock. Small compared to what I'm used to. I went to the Detroit VA and the Ann Arbor VA. Both facilities were like going to tallahasee Memorial Hospital.. huge. They had parking garages 4 levels. So that was the first thing I noticed. As far as treatment goes, no complaints. Although I would like to see anger management classes or group therapy there.

This AMAZING place is honestly the best of all, hands down.
From the doctor, director Jennifer, miss Holly amazing nurses especially Yolanda, and many more especially when you are recovering in recovery the amazing counselor's , such as sweet, caring, and supportive while REALLY LISTENING AND KEEPING IT REAL and making you feel comfortable and in a safe place is just a big perk in recovery. But I do want anyone who is reading this that knows someone or if you are struggling with addiction and ready to live a good life if you are scared to do it cold turkey or don't have the support or financial to pay for rehab or detox and all that this is the best place to do it and recovery can happen in all different forms cold turkey clinics Suboxone and it doesn't matter what you do as long as you do it and make a difference in your life and better yourself but this is the place to go and is a great option if you're open to it and ready to do it just make sure you're open ready and you want it and I encourage you that this clinic is the clinic for you or anyone if you know anyone struggling . The place is great. My daughter is there. Only complaint i have is there policy. Me and my wife drove 1 1/2 hour. And only one can visit. Then was told my service dog could NOT come inside.

Our teenage son struggles with mental health issues. We have tried a number of programs hoping to get him the help and support he needs. One of the facilities/programs we enrolled in was Laurel Oakes in Dothan, Alabama. This facility was like no other we experienced. Every staff member we encountered was courteous, caring and always willing to go above and beyond for our child. This Facilities’ culture is created and carried forward by the Facility CEO, Jeanette J. Jeanette was and remains extremely accessible, responsive, supportive, and always willing to go above and beyond. After our son left the program, he wanted to remain in contact with Jeanette. Without hesitation, she continued to support and communicate with our son. Jeanette not only remained in contact with our son after he left Laurel Oakes, but she was also always willing to speak to us about his current challenges and continued care. You couldn't ask for a better steward to oversee your child's care. As I said, all of the staff went above and beyond always. Our son gravitated towards one staff member in particular, a gentleman known to the kids as Sarge because of his prior military service. Sarge was always a touchstone for our son. Sarge also took time out from his day to speak to our son after he left the program. I am sorry if your family finds yourself having to consider such programs for your child. That's said, if you do, I can highly recommend Jeanette and her team at Laurel Oakes.

This organization transformed my brothers life. He was lost in a drug addiction life for most of his life, until he found God in this center. Not only did it transform him, but it restored our family relationship and gave us a way to reach forgiveness for all that the addiction caused. He has an amazing life and a great relationship with his family now. My son is completely transformed. He is definitely on his way to becoming the man that God has called him to be. Teen challenge is absolutely hands down the answer to your love one's addiction. This 12 month program is your childs pathway to recovery. Believe in its culture and watch your love one grow into a productive adult. I would definitely recommend this program to all who struggles with your love one's addictions.
