As a spouse I can’t say enough good things about this rehab. This was his fourth rehab at other places and hopefully the last. The program is fair, AA balanced and the guys have to work to stay. It is extremely well run and organized and the guys know what to expect. The camaraderie between staff and residents is genuine and the program works if one wants it to. Does clinic really help me with all of my needs for several years! And gave me so much support. I never once questioned if I had went and made the right decision by using this office. Everyone helped me feel like I could talk about anything my therapist tiffany, my nurse tammy, and Jen at the front desk are amazing! I can't say how easy the transition was and how much of a phenomenal of a job they did making me feel important. Thankfully I have completed my time at the clinic sadly I have to leave people that I have grown clothes too but I will never forget how they helped me get on the road of recovery. If you are feeling even a little doubt just go and see how much of a difference your life will be after you go through this recovery!! The people that work there are very caring and understanding and the truly care its not just about a paycheck they enjoy helping people in the right way... And they allow you to grow and make your own desicions as far as if you think your ready to begin to a point where you are ready to ween yourself because they know that's the only way we as addicts are gonna make it without having to start all over again addiction to herion and pills is a hard thing to over come on your own and it has cured me of my herion addiction it's taken them cravings and the people along with it has gave me the drive to stay with it I haven't ever succeeded at this disease of addiction yet and I've been suffering off and on since I was 13 without any success until now it's been almost a year and I have made so many improvements in my life and I've had people around me who have noticed the difference in me as well I just inspire to do better and better when I never kept the assent I've thus far like I said it's going on a year now and I have no desire to go back to herion thank yall so much I love yall and I hate to see anything bad said about yall because I feel yall are godsent for me as a herion addict yall have helped change my life I love yall more then you know.... I cannot believe there would be one single bad post about these compassionate people but that's how it is your always gonna have that one or two that didn't want to make it and wanted to not get better and wanting to blame someone else for them not trying to do better..... This is the first time I've ever opened up to a counselor. It doesn't feel like a doctor's office everyone there makes you feel like family. Downsides are the fact you cant even see outdoors and the meals are pretty bad except for the desserts. That says a lot considering i dont really like sweets. We were traveling through Appling County when we needed emergency medical attention. From the moment we pulled in, we encountered nothing short of THE BEST that humanity has to offer! The first person we saw just happened to be one of God's special angels - who could not be a better representative for Appling Healthcare! Tristan was helpful, warm and welcoming... like he was inviting us into his home. He and two sweet nurses helped me to get my family member inside and settled into a comfortable room immediately. The check-in process went smoothly and the nursing staff went to work right away. Within a matter of minutes our Nurse Practitioner was in the room. Andy treated us like family! He was thorough, patient and supportive. The necessary blood work, tests, and scans were completed AND we received the results within approximately an hour and a half from the time we arrived. Within the next half hour we were already meeting with a specialist from the Medical College of GA Hospital system in Augusta through a large video screen that was rolled into the room!! Mind-blowing! Small-town medical care is not always associated with being as updated and plugged-in to larger health facilities ... especially ones with such a stellar reputation as MCG. However, Appling Healthcare, in conjunction with MCG, has now set THE GOLD STANDARD for EXACTLY how things SHOULD BE DONE - EVERYWHERE - ALL THE TIME!!
