American medical system is a scam. They don’t want to cure you, just have you coming back like a street addict. If you really want to get off a hard drugs, come here and take Bupenorphine. Start with 4 mg and go up to 12 but do not exceed 12 mg forget about methadone. It’s hell trying to get off of. Bupenorphine however is way easier to tape her off of. The staff is amazing and a very knowledgeable staff. The staff is non judgmental. Private. It’s not sketchy like most MMT clinics. They don’t put up with no junk from the patients, which I like. You come here with the right mindset, then you will accomplish what you set out to do. It really changed my life. I love it, and wouldn’t change it for the world. It’s a really great place to go to if you need Help. Ms.Poole is so awesome she has helped me more than I can even count. In 2017 when I started coming Ms.Poole was my counselor and she was amazing! She always made sure I was okay and she listened to me when I I was going through hard times and she really cared. She always tried to help me. She even bought me me and my kids food for me to take to my house when I was going through a hard time. Now she is the Director and she is amazing at that. She makes sure that everything is by the book and she makes sure all of her patients are treated how they are supposed to be!!! I love Ms Poole! She is amazing And Ms Twanna is my counselor now and she is amazing also she really cares about her patients. Whatever anybody is going through she will listen to you and try to help you in anyway that she can. I love her too!!! I called Pathways on Monday and asked if they saw patients without insurance and the girl, her name was Ashley I believe, was very helpful and let me know that they do see patients without insurance and walked me through how to get him in. We went to the Department of Labor on Monday and got his income verification, then went to Pathways Tuesday morning early as a walk-in because that’s what you have to do to be seen for free. We got lucky and he was seen within 30 minutes of getting there! Every person that works there was pleasant and friendly. The staff at the front were friendly to every patient that came in, and they actually seemed to enjoy their jobs, and truly care about making sure patients got the help they need. I heard them communicate with people over the phone as well, and they were friendly and helpful. I have a lot of experience with doctor’s offices, and worked in many myself, and it is refreshing to be greeted by friendly, helpful, non- judgmental staff. I came to Anchor to have my medications adjusted, heal from past trauma, process the death of my NA sponsor, and continue my recovery from an eating disorder. As a person of faith, it meant a lot to me that gospel music was played on the unit. It brought comfort and peace during a difficult season. I especially want to recognize Laura and Silver, who were by far the best techs on the unit. Their kindness, compassion, patience, and genuine concern for patients made a huge difference in my recovery. I also appreciated the support from the other Lauras on the unit—there are three of them, and each contributed to making the environment feel more caring and supportive. The all-women's unit was exactly what I needed. Because I was experiencing significant mania at the time, being in a women's-only environment helped me feel safer and more focused on healing. Most importantly, the team at Anchor was able to figure out my medications and get me stabilized again. I had previously struggled to find the right medication balance elsewhere, and Anchor succeeded where other facilities had not. One thing I would recommend is that patients with food allergies or dietary restrictions be prepared to advocate for themselves to ensure their needs are met. Overall, Anchor helped me through a crisis and gave me the opportunity to begin healing. I am thankful for the staff, especially Laura and Silver, and for the care I received during my stay. J S 2 months ago I just wanna start off by saying Ms. Laura, Ms. Sherry, Mr. Emmanuel, Ms. Vorona, and Ms. Kimberley- basically all the techs over the compass unit were so nice and compassionate. They deserve all the kudos for their job well done. This was my first time having to do inpatient as an adult and it made me feel relieved that I seeked help. All wonderful and loving people who want to see the best in you. The food was above expectations for a mental institution, actual hot and filling meals. The group therapy sessions by Ms. Racquel and Ms. K were awesome and very well oriented. I was treated as a normal person, not someone with a myriad of issues. My social worker, Ms. Jasmine, handled me and a whole lot with the same tenderness and firm care even when she was overbooked with patients. The nurses, Ms. Unique and Ms. Karla(or karly ?) were speedy and careful, two things you don’t get at once with many nurses. They were careful and detail oriented when explaining medicines.
