My loved one was struggling with severe depression. We were very concerned about condition. She admitted herself to another facility but was not pleased. I had seen CheaRon Darrett on tv sharing info about this facility. I called her & explained what was going. She immediately got the ball rolling. She gave us detailed info and the steps we needed to take. The next day my loved one was admitted to your facility. From that day forward, she began to get better. We talked several times during her stay and visited the facility. She shared that she was getting the treatment she needed and was very pleased with the facility. The facility was clean and the staff was professional and courteous. After inpatient care, she continued in outpatient therapy and has made great strides. I will recommend your facility to anyone in need of the services you provide. A big thank you to your staff for changing my loved ones life and ours as well. Brentwood Springs, I rate you A+. God bless all of you

I was scared to death. The staff takes special steps to make you feel more at ease. I love that a lot of the staff had been where I was, so their personal experience was refreshing actually. They teach you so much, not just about the addiction but about who we really are. Vanessa (PCA-Inpatient) was AWESOME!!! Along with Ashlee, TeeJay, Erin(both of them), Lydia, Vickie and Kendra. I also gained a few friendships from other patients. If I were to fail(i do not anticipate . this however) I would definitely go back to Brentwood. They have outpatient classes you can got to as well once you leave inpatient. I am attending these now(PHP) and our Group Leader, Janet is Great!!!!! Because of what all Brentwood does, I AM ON MY WAY TO A HEALTHIER LIFE.

Doing the hard work in therapy is the key. I've been through physical and mental therapy, and likewise with both, you get out what you put in. Whether it's psych, therapy, group sessions, a skills coach...as much as you can engage in, dig deep and show up. My road has been rough and the journey isn't over, and it feels good to have a team under one roof, along with a group of peers I see every week whom can actually empathize with me, because they're going it through it too. It's a place with real people. Have I had an occasional communication/scheduling blip? Yes, but it's extremely rare. And the environment is appropriate for what the setting is, which I appreciate. The support staff is friendly and helpful. The practioners that have helped me, including Wyeth, Julie, Lacy, and Alicia, along with the peer group, have been great. I highly recommend their services.

I had never sought out therapy prior to being referred here by my PCP. I was placed with a very kind, compassionate and caring therapist who I still see 3 years later here. I have done their PHP program - which was fantastic and very eye opening for myself. Every therapist and social worker there were so supportive and took time to talk to you if you needed to talk, they never made you feel small or unwanted in each group class. I’ve also started EDMR and my therapist has been very gentle with that also. Hands down would return here again if by chance I ever had to quit. I recommend this facility to everyone. You have to be willing to make that change for yourself. These wonderful people cannot do it for you. You have to want it. It’s not handed to you. It’s very hard work. I’m just happy I have Cross Pointe behind me to move forward.

I ain’t gonna lie I did not like going to counseling my first go round. I wasn’t ready for the help. The 2nd time i loved going. & between both times my counselor did act differently because they could see that I was trying vs before when I was not. & I understand completely why I got different vibes. I didn’t want help. then when I did they all helped me. I see some reviews saying staff was rude ect. Personally not once was anyone just rude to me. Now did some make it clear they seen threw my bull, yup. As she should have! absolutely recommend going there if you genuinely want help! If you do not want help and ur there for other reasons they wil be able to tell. I even ended up homeless for 5 months, basically like my little sister died, I missed counseling sooo much & they still worked with me & tried to help even tho they could have kicked me out for not going only cuz they knew I was actually trying. I have mad love for all these people after round 2. Before tho I did not at all. basically ur vibe depends on the vibe you will get. but it wouldn’t be helpful for them to just act like they didn’t notice ur not trying.

I went there twice. The first time was back in December and the second time was in January. The first time was horrible the first night I didn’t sleep at all. The workers there seemed professional and helpful. The only issue I had was the lack of communication to the outside world. If your like me then your always busy so being locked in a building that only lets you use the phone at 5pm did me more harm then good. I will admit there are a few employees who genuinely don’t care about you. There is only one licensed physiatrist there and he didn’t seem to care to chit chat with his patients. When I was there I enjoyed playing cards and watching tv with the other patients they were really good people and it saddens me to see such pure and good people struggle with mental illnesses. There wasn’t much to do except wake up take meds and eat. At the end of each day we had group therapy. The food was great and plentiful and the meds really evened out my moods and made me more calm. Because the meds helped with anxiety my BP went from 160/75 to a low 123/85. I was glad to be a patient there and I think it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I was diagnosed with depression, anxiety disorder, psychosis although I wasn’t hallucinating. And the second time I went I was diagnosed with depression, anxiety disorder, and a NOS personality disorder.

I didnt like my therapist at first, she talked to me more as a mental issue then a person, but I ended up transfering to a different therapist because my old one got a promotion and shes the nicest person ever, we actually bond over common intrest rather then just talking about my mental heath and what's going on in my life and I find her very fun and easy to talk to.
