I've been coming here for 4yrs. The counselors here are very compassionate and understanding. They treat you like a human being and not a write off of society. My only complaint is that whomever runs the place does not pay the employees enough. I can't even count how many of them have come and gone over the years.

Get ready for this might be lengthy. I have been a client for 2 years and I have mostly good things to say. I have had the same counselor the entire time and she is absolutely fantastic. There are some policies and procedures that I would change but then again that is not my expertise. I was previously at Rose Medical for 2 years and comparatively speaking Peoria treatment center with his light years Beyond Rose Medical. If You are in search of medication-assisted therapy then I would highly recommend using PTC. Dr George shattick is it a wonderful human being and he is always willing to work with you to determine what is your best course of action

I am giving Trillium 5 stars because of my IOP counselor Mackenzie. Mackenzie is well educated on addiction/ relapse prevention, always runs the class extremely well, is respectful and kind to everyone, & genuinely cares about each person’s problems in her group. She is very professional and good at what she does and Trillium should be proud to have someone like her working for them!

After one year of being on a self pay recovery program where the Dr only cared about money and keeping patients on an extremely high dose to keep them addicted, I was referred to this program. I actually FEEL like a patient instead of a client and there's a HUGE difference between the two. My counselor, Dr, nurses, and the entire team all work together to help you achieve goals to be successful during recovery. Like any program, it only works if YOU want it to. You will only maintain sobriety if YOU want to. No one can force you to get sober, that's a decision you have to make for yourself. This place offers groups, job training, and other resources to make recovery as smooth as possible. Counselors check in with you on a monthly basis but are available for you every day the clinic is open. Wether you just need to talk or increase/decrease your dose your counselor is there to help. The Doctor is very kind and ethical when it comes down to doing what's best for you and your long-term recovery and success working your way through the program. All of the nurses and staff have become like a 2nd family to me, helping me with any andn everything I need. I've never had one bad experience on this program and I feel deeply cared for. If you are considering medical assisted detox/recovery I highly suggest giving Trillium on Rochelle a go! There is a wait list, however it's worth the wait and if you are pregnant I know they will expedite the process of getting you in as quickly as possible. I will soon be finished with the program and it's bittersweet as I've grown so close with everyone but I am extremely confident in maintaining my sobriety with all the tools and coping mechanisms I've learned this past year. In closing is like to thank my (2) favorite nurses (you know who you both are❤️) Doctor, my sweetheart counselor whom I will miss dearly, and my girl at the receptionist counter❤️ You all have played a pivotal role in the success of my recovery and rebuilding my life and each of you have a special place in my heart always. I 🙏🏾 this program continues to receive the funding it needs to stay active for years to come as it is an asset to the community, especially those who are looking for help to recover from whatever they may be struggling with. I am beyond grateful to finally have the strength to maintain my sobriety for myself and my family after years of struggling. God bless you all❤️

I had to complete a lot of hours in a not-so-long amount of time, and with their help I was able to do so. Were there a few inconveniences along the way, sure. But ultimately it was my own wrong doing that put me into the situation itself. Kim may be tough at times but overall she is only there to help. Do I ever plan on going back? Well, most likely not because that would invoke that I got in trouble again and that's something I will never let happen again. Overall I am glad it's over on my end for the most part, but I would recommend their services. Just have patience, don't be in a hurry because of your own wrong doing, be polite, and they will help.

I genuinely hit the jackpot calling Gateway Foundation. After 3 months in their outpatient program, I can say without a doubt it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. Everyone there is exceptionally caring. Like, it's not just a job to these people, you can feel it. There was a moment where I almost walked away from the program entirely, but Chris and Shellie stepped in with a real talk that completely flipped my perspective and changed the trajectory of my treatment and my life. I'll never forget that. The counselors and staff are incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in your success. Every single person I worked with made me feel supported and never judged. And Tony, who runs the place, actually made a point to come talk to me and ask how my experience was going. That meant more than he probably knows. I didn't have much to compare it to going in, but talking to other participants pretty quickly made it clear that Gateway is one of the best programs in the area. Everyone I met spoke highly of it, and now I understand why. I'm going to miss everyone there. If you're on the fence about calling, just call. Best decision I made.

Updating my review from 1 to 4 stars. They made it clear to me that while they do technically open at 6:00am (still 5 to 10 min late each day as there has to be 2 employees in the building before customers are allowed in. This can get annoying in the cold) the window that you dose at does not start servicing patients until 6:15. For customers with places to be like work in the morning you can expect random wait times. Some patients show up and hang out in the parking lot in their cars for quite some time and it doesn't matter when you get in line inside the building, the people who camped out in the cars will let you know when it's your turn. Often times it's patients getting multiple take home doses thus slowing the process down further. If I could offer advice, I would like to see both windows being utilized (at least during peak rush times) The Nurses behind the counter are smart and nice and so are the counselors I have dealt with (Lindsay) I'm sure they have thought of these and other options. Lastly I would really like to know what happens to the revenue BNTC takes it. It doesn't appear to be a non-profit. I would like to read some literature on this. If the money is going to the pharmaceutical company responsible for producing the methadone and the DEA who allows the sales to be legal than that is flat out predatory. I'm not making accusations I would just like to see some transparency and want to know the clinic has the best interests of it's clients in mind .

I am so grateful for such thoughtful providers. I have been in mental health treatment for anxiety and depression since I was 9 years old but never really felt like I’d gained much from therapy and medication. Insurance requirements meant that at 38, I’d be covered if I went to the Center for both my providers (therapy & medication). I am seeing Jodi for medication and Abby for therapy, and both are really great. Jodi listened really well and helped me sort my thoughts because I didn't even know where to begin. She explained to me that I’ve been battling undiagnosed ADHD, and as she explained further, suddenly the last 30 years of my life made much more sense. Treating my ADHD is resolving depression and anxiety, eliminating the need for medications and improving my overall well-being. I can’t be more thankful for them. Abby is the first therapist I’ve gone to who actively helps me challenge myself. Too many therapists just sit and validate without providing much external feedback. Abby does both - she’s validating but honest. Thank you so much!

McLean County Center is a very good place to get better. Personally, I'm most grateful to my counselor who has been great with me through my recovery process.
