It is hard to take the prison and criminal mindset out of thr institution but staff does their best to counsel and help individuals in custody that truly want help. Individuals in custody also earn time off their sentence for being in the program. They earn day for day time so that is an extra bonus. People who truly want thr help receive the help they need.

If I could give this establishment zero stars, I would! This place is really a joke. I went in after an unsuccessful visit with a primary care physician and called to ask if they can do ultrasound and x-ray. The representative said they do. Went in for an appointment and they did absolutely nothing but a urinalysis. The staff were nice but this place should be shut down. I was told to follow up with my primary care. I left in pain and an unanswered diagnosis. Never again will EVER return or recommend this place. I truly question the competence of the staff. 0/100

Appointments are meaningless. They decide who is more urgent. The child who has the same symptoms, but no appointment, is going before an senior with an appointment. Actually, every child there is going first. As if one of us might die waiting, and I'm the least likely.

I had to complete a lot of hours in a not-so-long amount of time, and with their help I was able to do so. Were there a few inconveniences along the way, sure. But ultimately it was my own wrong doing that put me into the situation itself. Kim may be tough at times but overall she is only there to help. Do I ever plan on going back? Well, most likely not because that would invoke that I got in trouble again and that's something I will never let happen again. Overall I am glad it's over on my end for the most part, but I would recommend their services. Just have patience, don't be in a hurry because of your own wrong doing, be polite, and they will help.

I've been coming here for 4yrs. The counselors here are very compassionate and understanding. They treat you like a human being and not a write off of society. My only complaint is that whomever runs the place does not pay the employees enough. I can't even count how many of them have come and gone over the years.

Get ready for this might be lengthy. I have been a client for 2 years and I have mostly good things to say. I have had the same counselor the entire time and she is absolutely fantastic. There are some policies and procedures that I would change but then again that is not my expertise.
I was previously at Rose Medical for 2 years and comparatively speaking Peoria treatment center with his light years Beyond Rose Medical.
If You are in search of medication-assisted therapy then I would highly recommend using PTC. Dr George shattick is it a wonderful human being and he is always willing to work with you to determine what is your best course of action

I have been a client with Heritage for over 15 years. As many people know, sometimes it takes a person several rehab stays before getting it right and being able to remain clean and sober. After many years of heroin addiction, and multiple attempts at sobriety with several relapses along the way, I can honestly say I owe my life to Heritage Behavioral Health. Even though I was a returning client more times than I want to admit, I never felt judged for returning. The staff truly care about the clients and go out of their way to help in any way possible. I gained different tools and coping mechanisms from each and every counselor, nurse, tech, and group that I attended. I can't put into words the gratitude I feel for having the opportunity to attend rehab at Heritage and get my life back in order. I see a couple people complaining about wait times at this facility. That’s laughable if you have ever been to any other clinic where the lines are out the door wrapped around the building. This is the fastest most efficient clinic I’ve ever been to. The staff works with you on everything, and the only wait time is sometimes early in the morning when there are about 10 ppl waiting at the same time so they can go to work. I’ve never waited longer than 30 minutes and that’s only been a few times first thing when they open and that’s nothing compared to the 2 hour wait times at other clinics I’ve been to. My usual visits r about 10 minutes long. Staff is great, facility is clean, nurses are always quick and thorough and super kind. Anyone who works, will have a hard time going to a doctor office every morning which is why they offer “take homes “ to people who have consistent clean drug screens. Otherwise, you will have to go daily. The program works, if you work the program. Thank you to the awsome staff!!!

I am so grateful for such thoughtful providers. I have been in mental health treatment for anxiety and depression since I was 9 years old but never really felt like I’d gained much from therapy and medication. Treating my ADHD is resolving depression and anxiety, eliminating the need for medications and improving my overall well-being. I can’t be more thankful for them. This place pulled me outta a dark spot. I came in feelin’ like death 🤕, but they knew exactly what to do. The detox part? Rough. But they had me in a clean bed , checking on me non-stop. Felt safe for once.They don’t sugarcoat things, but they don’t treat you like garbage either. Just solid care, real help, and a team that actually gives a damn .

I didn't catch her name - but on 1/31 at 3:18 pm, an absolute angel of an employee spent 15 minutes of her time talking on the phone with me about my health concern and shared her similar story with me. She was the kindest, most compassionate employee I have ever encountered during my entire scary health experience. She even offered advice on what she did in her case, and I am so appreciative of the time and effort she spent talking to me. I just wanted to share my experience in hopes that it encourages other people to seek out care for their own scary health experiences. In particular, it is clear that Carle on Windsor has some amazing employees who really do care.

I've been here many times and always had a good experience. The medical staff are nice and always listen to my concerns. I'm sorry to see a lot of people have not had good experiences but I've always felt taken care of.

I could not find anywhere that could get me in to see a councilor till a friend of mine who goes here recommended me. I called and had an appointment the next day after being on countless wait lists other places. By far the friendliest and caring staff I have ever experienced and I’ve been to many places trying to find a place I am comfortable with. I will make the hour and 5 minute drive to this place so worth it! Thank you so much!

Amazing helpful understanding staff including directors, physician, nurses, case workers, house workers, managers and therapist. I am blessed beyond words that a hospital case worker in Springfield knew about their residential facility and program and encouraged her application. I'm so grateful that the staff accepted my daughter into their program. After almost one year in the facility the change in my daughters behavior, lifestyle, attitude is 100% improved. I am posting this review as the loved one of a patient. In our case, the patient relapsed the same day when they left the center. This place is ineffective and does not help individuals struggling with alcohol addiction. In particular, they are not a dual-diagnosis center. The goal of this center is to make money from inpatient program and clinically not provide the support for the patient after the treatment duration. In our case, after the inpatient program that lasts 14 days, the patient was asked to schedule a therapy session after 21 days externally by themselves. Do not get fooled by the numbers that are posted on the website about their success rates. In our case, the patient has severe depression and they diagnosed it, but they don’t do anything about it. In summary, addiction has an underlying root cause that ought to be treated - they do not address that. Secondly a 14 day rehab is hardly enough time - we learned all this in hindsight, unfortunately. They also do not communicate with family members, though they have consent. Emails and messages get ghosted because they do not want to talk to you. Giving the patient random advice and expecting them to follow through is not support or setting the patient up for success. They did tell me that you can’t work harder than the patient. Again, the patient in this case relapsed the very day he was discharged from rehab. I would certainly consider other less expensive places that may care more for the recovery phase of the patient, not just do the treatment and not care. Recovery is a lifelong process and any center that claims to do rehab has to address that through their treatment, or not offer it in the first place - they hurt real people. Yes, they have the same "canned" response that they copy and paste for any negative review posted here.
