WestCare staff does a great job trying to help women in prison work through their problems and get back on the right track in life. Not all the women in the program what to better themselves so that ca create problems for individuals trying their best but staff really try and care to help the women in the program no matter what.

It is hard to take the prison and criminal mindset out of thr institution but staff does their best to counsel and help individuals in custody that truly want help. Individuals in custody also earn time off their sentence for being in the program. They earn day for day time so that is an extra bonus. People who truly want thr help receive the help they need.

The experience was great. My counselor and others was also well, since I e left gateway I’ve been on a better track and able to utilize my coping skills in a professional manner. Groups were great as well and hearing some of our counselor stories and how they’ve came from up under that addiction opened my eyes to have hope. If you’re suffering from addictions this would be a great start. It’s not ment to disappear it’s ment to be manageable.then and now

Gateway helped guide me to the road i needed to be on. Taught me to control my emotions. I became happy agin. I lost so much but gained much more. Especially knowledge, trust, i even got better with my PTSD. I found myself. I was lost for a long time. I didnt want to got to rehab i though i heard it all. I was stubborn. I alots lost my family. They lost there son, brother, father,grandpa and husband. I became a stranger they didnt know. Slowly wathing me die. After trying to take my life and wife wanted me to leave i made a choice to go to Gatewa... best choice i made in yeary. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I'll never forget the feeling that I had when I walked into gateway in Springfield il. I was in terrible condition. The moment I walked through the door I had an overwhelming feeling that I was going to be ok and I was just where I needed to be. Mr. James sits at the front door. He's the most polite, well mannered, welcoming, man I've ever met in my life. My heart was so happy to see him. Nicest man I've ever met. From there it just kept getting better. I met Josh Ronan. He truly cared about me. He made me feel like I belonged. I finally belong somewhere. And that is a feeling I can't describe. Then I met James on the men's unit. He is a thors hammer of a man. He was wonderful also. He made my heart happy. My counselor was Rhonda. She went above and beyond to help me with all my needs. I highly recommend gateway in Springfield il to any and all needing assistance. This place helped to save my life. They gave you all the tools you need to recover. But they also give you time to do the real work yourself. Thank you gateway. My heart belongs to you.

Beyond thankful for the support, care, and attention given to my loved one in treatment. They supported and encouraged him through heavy loss and lasting grief. After one year of being on a self pay recovery program where the Dr only cared about money and keeping patients on an extremely high dose to keep them addicted, I was referred to this program. I actually FEEL like a patient instead of a client and there's a HUGE difference between the two. My counselor, Dr, nurses, and the entire team all work together to help you achieve goals to be successful during recovery. Like any program, it only works if YOU want it to. You will only maintain sobriety if YOU want to. No one can force you to get sober, that's a decision you have to make for yourself. This place offers groups, job training, and other resources to make recovery as smooth as possible. Counselors check in with you on a monthly basis but are available for you every day the clinic is open. Wether you just need to talk or increase/decrease your dose your counselor is there to help. The Doctor is very kind and ethical when it comes down to doing what's best for you and your long-term recovery and success working your way through the program. All of the nurses and staff have become like a 2nd family to me, helping me with any andn everything I need. I've never had one bad experience on this program and I feel deeply cared for. If you are considering medical assisted detox/recovery I highly suggest giving Trillium on Rochelle a go! There is a wait list, however it's worth the wait and if you are pregnant I know they will expedite the process of getting you in as quickly as possible. I will soon be finished with the program and it's bittersweet as I've grown so close with everyone but I am extremely confident in maintaining my sobriety with all the tools and coping mechanisms I've learned this past year. In closing is like to thank my (2) favorite nurses (you know who you both are❤️) Doctor, my sweetheart counselor whom I will miss dearly, and my girl at the receptionist counter❤️ You all have played a pivotal role in the success of my recovery and rebuilding my life and each of you have a special place in my heart always. I 🙏🏾 this program continues to receive the funding it needs to stay active for years to come as it is an asset to the community, especially those who are looking for help to recover from whatever they may be struggling with. I am beyond grateful to finally have the strength to maintain my sobriety for myself and my family after years of struggling. God bless you all❤️

It's about living in your (GIFT FROM GOD) as representatives of The MESSAGE OF LIFE!!! YOU KNOW Great Customer Service when it's presented with concerned and an eagerness to help!!! With no judgement involved. He seemed very relaxed, detailed, he let me sit and explain everything going on wasn't rushed not long of a wait in the morning. I had to complete a lot of hours in a not-so-long amount of time, and with their help I was able to do so. Were there a few inconveniences along the way, sure. But ultimately it was my own wrong doing that put me into the situation itself. Kim may be tough at times but overall she is only there to help. Do I ever plan on going back? Well, most likely not because that would invoke that I got in trouble again and that's something I will never let happen again. Overall I am glad it's over on my end for the most part, but I would recommend their services. Just have patience, don't be in a hurry because of your own wrong doing, be polite, and they will help.

My best friend had been in and out of treatment facilities one right after another for over a year. She never got the treatment she needed at the other facilities due to overcrowding, time limits on stays or insurance saying they would only allow her to stay for so long even though, we as parents could see she wasn’t ready. Before she even chose to get treatment at New Leaf, the staff was looking out for her well-being and safety. They helped her get the proper treatment before being a client with them.

I just want to say that I came to this facility from out of town, because my state's wait lists were crazy! I successfully completed 60 days, and to this day I am 4 1/2 years sober. I credit New Leaf and the councilors that motivated me to build a better life. Each person's recovery is different, but it works if you work it!!

I have been going to this Clinic for a year now. I had heard horror stories about the VA/ have a few medical horror stories from active duty of my own, so I was anxious about what it would be like. I had a great experience here. More restrictive than other places, but if you're serious about recovery I think it's necessary. Staff was great even though they're short a counselor. Everybody there really cares about each and every person.

Well I was a client at RMA when they first opened in and if it wasn’t for Dr. Rose I would be dead he truly cared about me and my situation he always been very supportive and trustworthy this place really saved my life I have been clean off drugs for 15 plus years and there was a time I couldn’t pay and Dr. Rose said ok pay when you can and I did find a job and paid what I could the point is he knew I was serious about staying clean and he wanted it for me as well I had a great counselor as well she was very supportive I appreciate RMA for the life I have today I have nothing but gratitude for them and hope that they continue to serve the Peoria area because we don’t have a lot of programs to help the community

Dr. Rose and Tina, as well as the nurses and reception staff I’ve interacted with over the years have become an integral part of the health of my everyday life. They have helped to give me years of life that were all but lost to me before I arrived at their doors. I've been coming here for 4yrs. The counselors here are very compassionate and understanding. They treat you like a human being and not a write off of society. My only complaint is that whomever runs the place does not pay the employees enough. I can't even count how many of them have come and gone over the years.

Get ready for this might be lengthy. I have been a client for 2 years and I have mostly good things to say. I have had the same counselor the entire time and she is absolutely fantastic. There are some policies and procedures that I would change but then again that is not my expertise. I was previously at Rose Medical for 2 years and comparatively speaking Peoria treatment center with his light years Beyond Rose Medical. If You are in search of medication-assisted therapy then I would highly recommend using PTC. Dr George shattick is it a wonderful human being and he is always willing to work with you to determine what is your best course of action

My daughter just finished treatment there a few weeks ago, and I can't rave enough about her counselor, Shannon. She always listened intently to everything my daughter said, helped her understand the issues she was having and assisted her with finding the coping mechanisms and outlets that best suited her. The front line staff were always helpful and courteous from the first moment we walked in to the facility when my daughter was in crisis mode.

I love coming to Heartland in Pekin for my checkups and visits for any gynecological things. Dr. Maddie is the best. She gentle, caring, patient and thorough in all of the work that she does. This residential facility is amazing. Set on the grounds of farmland. They have their own school, church, equine center, gymnasium, tec center and great cottages for the kids to stay. The staff is friendly, kind, and caring. Highly recommend.
