The Staff at Symetria Recovery ( Deborah, Anna , Maria, Elsa , etc..) all treat their patients like family. They are all so Caring, Loving and Supportive. Been going to Family Guidance for awhile now and I absolutely recommend this methadone clinic to anyone struggling with opiate addiction. The staff are mostly friendly and it's easy to get into the clinic within a day or two. Once you get to the correct methadone dose the dope sickness is mostly gone and then you can slowly get back to a normal life. I've had a few counselors since going here and all were nice and professional but my current one Gary is Awesome. He seems to really care and is always helpful. I would most likely be dead if I didn't sign up at Family Guidance. If you're looking for a way to stop using dope give this clinic a try.

I've been going to Family Guidance for the last 16 months. August 2nd I got off the train from St. Louis and started down the road for recovery. I've been using for the last 30 years. With the help of my counselor at Family Guidance I have been able to abstain from drug use and have turned a corner allowing me to say farewell to everyone at family guidance.

I spent time as a primary therapist at PSI and have only wonderful things to say about the program and my experience there. The clinical staff is passionate, kind and talented. The administrative staff is committed to quality care with dignity. I will continue to refer to this program as a LCPC in private/group practice.

As a professional working with families and their loved ones I have found Positive Sobriety Institute to be a wonderful treatment center for clients. Dominic and the staff have always been helpful and delivered effective treatment. Living in the Chicago area my entire life, there are not many options for private effective treatment and their facility is who I am most comfortable working with.

As a therapist with a specialization in supporting clients struggling with addictions, I trust PSI completely in offering compassionate and accessible care to professionals. PSI's team is knowledgeable and thorough in their treatment planning and aims to create a safe community for folks to do their healing work. I highly recommend PSI for anyone who wants to not only get sober, but also really understand the root of their addictions and how to make necessary changes to live a happier and more empowered life.

Such a transformative experience! Naturally, the reviews you read for addiction treatment centers are going to skew negative but don't let that deter you if you believe you need help. Not only did I have an amazing experience with staff, I've built a strong foundation of community among my peers who were also seeking treatment. While encouraged by their use of an evidenced-based model, the incorporation of the 12-steps had me skeptical at first but now I'm fully committed. If you feel the 12 steps aren't for you, they also provide information about alternatives such as SMART Recovery and Recovery Dharma. My one complaint would be that I had chosen to participate in the in-person IOP during intake, but was somehow placed into the virtual IOP. Once it was recognized it was a quick fix and it didn't impact my start date or anything like that.

Could not have been more pleased with my experience and have grown so much in my 10 months of outpatient treatment. Cleidy and Mark will be in my recovery forever and cannot thank enough.

I am so grateful for the entire staff of Heartland. At some of my families toughest moments, they were there to help support in all the ways that they would. I have had the unfortunate need to seek treatment for a family member and this is the place I would always recommend for any family I know. Heartland has completely transformed my life. I came as a client seeking a change, and I was met with open arms by a team full of love, understanding, and compassion, free of judgment. Heather who works in the Pharmacy at Hines has been absolutely incredible! I had 2 prescriptions scheduled to be delivered, I only received one. Per my doctor, I should call the pharmacy to find out what happened. I am SO thankful to Heather for her diligence to keep me updated every single day (sometimes multiple times a day. And even if the news wasn't great, she communicated with me every step of the way) none of the lost prescription was Hines' fault, responsibility falls solely on the USPS. Thank you Heather

I have never completed at rehab before til I went here. The 1st day I walked in I knew I was going to make it the full program.. I love all the staff

After 10 years of battling addiction to various drugs I went to ECS for 28 days of rehab. It was a life changing experience that started on 11/29/2018. I have been in recovery for nearly 2 years now. I ve become close with my family and opened a personal training business helping men in rehab and employing men in recovery. I have also gotten my position as a general foreman back at my regular Job as well as my freedom in my life and am a better man than I have ever been thanks to the counselors, staff and Dr Sharma at ECS.A 6 year sober and in recovery update. I am now making over a quarter million a year with a Fortune 500 company, have kids who love and respect me again, 2 homes in 2 states, real friendships and a life beyond my wildest dreams. I was homeless 6.5 years ago. It all started with E.C.S. and im still a part of the community they have there that Doc started. Grateful

Being someone that has been to multiple treatment facilities in this sobriety journey of mine I can confidently say that ECS has been by far the best and most effective treatment I know of I highly recommend it. It s been a few months since I ve been out and I m now working at a great job with some others that also went through the program and could not be happier with my sobriety!

Ecs has not only guided me to a path of sobriety but has taught me how to become the man I want to be. They lay it all out for you in ways you never thought. The network of people to help you get to the place you want to be in life is at your fingertips. Ecs goes beyond just being sober, but creates better humans. I cannot say enough amazing things about this office. I have seen 3 doctors and now currently see Emily Jensen NP. All have been wonderful and actually care about getting to the root cause. The reason for my review is actually for someone from their administrative team. I had an issue this week and Barbara went way above and beyond to ensure that I was taken care of. I have never had a negative experience with this office! Thank you to the entire team!

I see a lot of negative reviews on here and my experience might have been different due to my age (late 30s). I wanted to be at TK. I didn't have someone make the decision for me, although my husband was very supportive.Out of all the staff, there were only 2 I didn't like. Not that they were bad, just a clash with our personalities.I have epilepsy, it's chronic and active. I had to go home to have surgery (a replacement battery for the device that helps control my seizures). I was gone for about 36 hours. The staff was great with my seizures and with my surgery.I thought I was going to need to go back when my husband passed away, but I made it through. A lot of that I can credit TK with for giving me the tools to work with.The only problem I really had was leaving. Leaving was terrifying because that safety net just vanished. That is one thing I think the staff needs to prepare you a bit better for.I've been healthy since leaving. Sure, I still get the feelings/urges on occasion but I created my own safety net. I can control the urges. I'm actually rather proud of myself.PS - If any of the former staff ever reads this "Meany Mo-Mo" you know who you are. Thank you, for all you did. Your patience, your help, and just being there when I needed it. You literally are the best. <3

I had never been to rehab before. I told Myself I would be able to get Myself better by Myself. It doesn't work that way. I went to Branden House and they helped me so much more than I thought I needed. It's hard at first... Discipline and withdrawal. I had a hard time everyday at first trying to not cry but they all welcomed my healing tears. I feel so much better about society today knowing that there is places like this with caring people out there for struggling people such as myself. God bless Branden House.
