This facility is just amazing! Truly felt like everyone cared about me, and I can honestly say I trusted everyone in there. Trust is very hard for me, but the adult program and the staff allowed me to be myself with no judgement. I'm trying so hard to follow the rules and not name any staff but will give a broad review. Right when you walk in the staff is friendly, always smiling which in turn made me smile. The supervisor is amazing; the head of the counselors who leads the group therapy is one of the best people I ever met. The staff that lead the groups cared about me, and it was genuine, and they are so smart and fun. From the psychiatrist to my therapist everyone was on the same page. I just want to say thank you to everyone there from the bottom of my heart!

I had a wonderful experience with my program! Everyone was amazing and i truly wouldn’t be in such a good place in my life without the help from this facility! Life feels beautiful again and i couldn’t be more thankful! Brad is a wonderful human and you can really feel how much everyone there cares. Suncloud has been a life saver. The staff was and is always welcoming and caring. One of the things that has been the most helpful for me has been the aftercare, follow ups and continued connection I get with them. It has become part of my family now and its a lifestyle. One of the things I lost in my life was a sense of being part of my community and having that desire to isolate from people. I dont feel that way anymore because of Suncloud. Now I have friends and people I really trust. Which is huge to me with my trust issues. Suncloud taught me that I cannot do this alone and showed me that I wasnt alone. This is a lifelong journey and my life is better now because I chose to do something about it, and Suncloud gave me the tools I needed. So I want to let anyone know who is looking into treatment Banyan was such a fantastic experience for me. I owe them such a debt of GRATITUDE. I am a middle-aged woman with kids who was struggling with drinking - life was just sad for me due to some pretty terrible trauma-I knew I needed to make a change and I came to Banyan. I was scared & ashamed. They treated me with such kindness. The program was well structured & professional. The financial obligation was manageable. Everyone there continues to check on my progress. I have completely been sober since I left and have a completely new life - A+ Banyan. I continue to have great friendships from my time there. Here is one thing i say to people who ask me about getting sober. I have not met one person -not one single person -who regrets getting sober. There are millions of people- hundreds of millions of people - right now regretting drinking, why not make the change now? people get sober for a lot of different reasons.

Banyan in lisle iL, is absolutely amazing! From the 30 day residential to the PHP THEY WERE SO WECOMING! The classes and groups are great. PHP is awesome to they take us to church, grocery shopping, Walmart, and we do events!!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone getting sober.

The Joliet Symetria location saved my life!! What a great bunch of people!! They work with you, and guide you through everything!! Heck Tonette even got me an Uber one time because my car was broke down and I was going to miss my dosing. I know I have heard good and bad about Symetria but this location (Joliet) goes out of their way to make sure patients and good. This is my first time experiencing an addiction recovery program. But I can honestly say I've never been part of any program (of any kind) that has counselors and leaders with bigger hearts! I was recommended this place by my therapist, and can honestly say it was not only the best decision I've ever made but the most life-changing decision I've ever gotten to experience. As soon as I started, I could instantly tell that the counselors and leaders weren't just there to do a job but genuinely cared about every patient who entered their program. It was amazing to not only get education and tools on how to go through recovery but also how to cope with life outside of recovery with a tailored made schedules for each individual. This program also has amazing outside events for its patients in recovery, such as game nights, movie/book club nights, and more. Care Addiction Center is more than a program; it's a beating heart that saves & changes lives! I can honestly say it saved mine! If you're looking for a program that can get you to that next step when every other programs or every other solution has not worked, I promise you if you follow their advice and tips, you definitely will. I'm grateful to have met every single person a part of this program! I don't think there is a better recovery program that really exists; especially for its affordability. I know I'm biased, but there are many who would back that! I'm genuinely so grateful for these counselors and leaders and the many I've met who joined me in the program along the way!

BEST EXPERIENCE!!! This center was perfect for me because I am not a very social person and the small group sessions were perfect. Also, the small group allowed for me to learn more and get the most from the program. The instructors are very well versed and knowledgeable about addiction. I looked forward to going every day. Our group became very close knit and we do activities together outside of class. If you do not want to be just a seat filler and actually get something out of your recovery journey, this is the place.

The care I receive is outstanding! I have experienced a friendly atmosphere, warmth from the front desk, RN Brittany who took good care of me during my Pre Op. She is so thorough with the preparation, patient education so I know what to expect. Tish the PcT who also made me feel comfortable not to be worried and over think. I felt the sincerity and care that all patient should experience. Dr. Barkatullah is great, he made me feel secure and well guided of what to expect. Post op care Laarni, RN stood by me, when I woke up from the procedure , very patient, making sure I am recovered good. She gave my wife a thorough education, detailed d/c instructions , we didn't feel rush we took our time. Overall, they are all great! I had the best experience of Healing ministry of Christ. Sarah G. is quite possibly one of the nicest, most caring, most capable, smartest, and trustworthy professionals I’ve ever seen. The office staff can be pleasant, the setting is confidential, & the payment/billing process is streamlined & simplified for your convenience. When I first went there I was quite nervous & inquired about a few things I was unsure of. Sarah explained them all in full which is something I’ve never received at any other medical facility. The staff there are always on top of things when I arrive. They know what my care entails & are quick to assist in anyway possible. After dealing with the loss of a dear friend, I couldn't cope. I had hit my rock bottom mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I was admitted into the dual diagnosis program and it truly saved my life. I have tried for years to heal myself and nothing has worked until my time at Linden Oaks. My care team was fantastic. Everyone was invested in my growth and was more than willing to work with my needs/time off from work. This is a powerful place of healing and I could not be anymore grateful for my time there. ❤️

I usually get seen at the Hoffman estates location but recently moved. I got blood drawn today at Aurora and I couldn’t be more thankful. The phlebotomist was incredibly efficient and also helped me get switched over to this clinic. She spoke so highly of everyone. The front desk staff was kind, personable, and got me set up with an appointment and new pcm. It was a quick experience but I was so impressed with them!

I was recently in inpatient care for a manic episode. I've been to 2 other hospitals in other parts of Illinois. I kept calling this place the "Ritz Carlton" or at the very least, a 4 star hotel. The hospital food is fantastic. After your first 24 hours, most people are able to go over to the cafeteria to select your own food. The lunch & dinner menu were the same, but they had an amazing variety (e.g. Chicago style hot dogs & beefs, a taco salad, etc.) They always had available: 2 soups, pizza & chicken tenders, snacks, drinks. They had plenty of snacks in the fridge and in the drawers in the unit as well. I gained like 5 lbs in 2 weeks, eating more/ better than I usually do. I met with my psychiatrist daily, and on the weekends, there was a fill in person to check in. There were 3 or 4 groups per day. They had plenty of coloring pages, books in their library, DVDs to watch, Soduku puzzles, etc to keep busy in between activities. I really felt the staff were all very nice. Their job probably isn't easy, especially when a new patient comes in and is agitated or aggressive. I only noticed them getting frustrated when someone would repeatedly disrespect the staff. We did only get to go outside once per day, and only if the weather was OK. That was also the only time we had access to music. I felt like they are a bit more conservative in terms of keeping you a set amount of time. I stayed inpatient for 2 weeks, but that's likely because they were adjusting my meds. I had the option of going to Linden Oaks or Good Samaritan. I'm very glad I chose Linden Oaks!

i was there because of my depression and substance use and alcohol use and they really helped me a lot and overall a outstanding program and highly recommend to help me work through my mental health,trauma and give me the best possible outcome of treatments for aftercare and coping skills. it saved my life really. wouldn’t be here without going there i wouldn’t be here.

I'm an alcoholic, have been for years. I got treatment before I decided to give the Gateway, Iopc,a try. Im not religious and religion isnt pushed at GateWay Iopc, which is why i gave it a try. My Dr suggested it so I decided to do that treatment after my detox. Also my counselor Dan in the Joliet office is a great counselor. I, like most people are closed off when going thru this process. Eventually you will begin to open up when you see there is several other people dealing and going thru a similar situation as yourself. And believe me Im the most closed off person there is. You may not agree with all of it, as I didn't, but there are parts that's help. Everyone is dealing with something different and everyone is affected differently. Focus on yourself and don't let outside influences stop you from what you want.

All the staff here is exceptional. Yet there are 3 people I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart; Nate (the clinical director), Dr Steve Holtsford, and a Lighthouse collaborator, Rehna Becker. These 3 people have saved my life in their own way. That's no small thing. Nate was the one who got through to me when no one else could. He is the reason I stayed in recovery. He's so incredibly intelligent, witty, charismatic, heartfelt and has a brilliant sense of humor to go with a great big heart. I think a good sense of humor is wildly underappreciated when dealing with such incredibly heavy topics. Likewise, he knows the exact moment to pivot and get real with you. He is the one who started this whole incredible program. Dr. Holtsford is probably the best physician working in addiction medicine in the state of Illinois and I would wager, he's going to emerge as a leader at the national level. He stays up to date with the most cutting edge research as it relates his area of expertise. He has a certain ease about him that makes it easy to open up and be honest which is one of the greatest challenges facing anyone who is in recovery. There could not be a finer medical director at the helm of a recovery clinic. Last but definitely not least is Rehna. She is the most extraordinary therapist I have encountered in my lifetime and I have met with dozens. I am not sure I should be mentioning her as I believe she has a separate practice that's in the same building. Rehna is the "thermonuclear" option in the absolute best sense. She is the therapist to see for those who are truly lost causes. She is burdened with the most severe cases yet she maintains such a bright disposition despite routinely dealing with the most intractable cases of patients with severe trauma. I owe her my life. Thank you Rehna for sticking with me and for encouraging me to be "the man in the ring."

It's wild to imagine that I've been a patient with Lighthouse now for more than a decade. They've stayed with me through thick and through thin. They've been patient with me when I made mistakes and never turned their back on me or cast me aside like so many other doctors. You can expect to be treated with respect and dignity. You and your loved ones will be supported, not only by the amazing staff but by the people who come to group and share their experience. This place has none of the dogmatism of a twelve step group. I have nothing against 12 step but the "all or nothing" approach where you get chips and count days never worked for me. It's been a long slog but I've been in recovery now for 5 years going steady and I owe my thanks to the good people who run this place. I think the community owes this establishment a huge debt. The stories you'll hear of the struggles of people from all walks of life during groups makes you realize that without a place like this, there would be a lot of funerals taking place. Addiction doesn't discriminate based on your socio economic status or skin color. You'll see people from every walk of life come together here to support one another. It's a beautiful thing.

I have gone through the PHP/IOP program here two times. The facilities are nice and it doesn't feel like you're stuck in a hospital. The staff made me feel like a person, not a number, and I could tell they genuinely cared about me - from the front desk staff (who remembered my name after like a day) to my care team (therapist/psychiatrist) to the financial team, everyone was genuinely concerned about my well-being as a person. I never felt rushed through any of my sessions/appointments with my care team, and I walked away with coping techniques that I still use to this day two years later. I 100% recommend going here if you need help with your mental health.

Saving lives and keeping families together is what this place has done for many years people I knew personally and abroad. The number one thing is mental health. That includes substance abuse disorders. If you're not gonna be honest and aren't ready to get clean they ain't gonna put up with your crap. I'm so grateful they were tough. They've seen it all yall. If you are serious about getting mental help for mental disorders this is the place to go I've been seeing Kyle for about a month now and he is a really good counselor to take advice from I will continue to be coming back for my treatment and I look forward to sharing good stories with the counselor as the future goes on, and the psychiatrist is a really smart man I can see he's got a good 25 or 30 years of experience in the field at doing what he does best throughout my experience coming here my satisfaction rating is a 10 on a 1 to 10 scale I'd give this place 10 stars if possible.
