I can’t say enough good things about this DUI counseling program. The teachers here truly go above and beyond…George, Troy, and Noel each share real-life stories and situations that make the lessons not only impactful but also relatable. You can tell they genuinely care about the work they do and about helping people learn and grow. Even Shelly, in the office, is kind and very relatable.
What stood out to me most is that this program isn’t just for people with a DUI…it’s information that everyone should hear! The way it’s taught makes you reflect, and I honestly believe these lessons could benefit anyone, whether or not they’ve ever made the mistake of driving under the influence. N.P Miles, Kaitlyn, and Dr. Cooper have been absolutely amazing from day 1. N.P. Miles listens, plans, and makes adjustments to meds when something is feeling off or if there's a crisis going on in my life (too many to count). She thoroughly explains my care plan in a way that I can understand. You can tell that they genuinely care about the patient's well-being in this office. It's definitely a rare find these days. I don't think that I would have gotten through my "getting shot crisis," or any other "crisis," for that matter, without the care that this office has given me. My new psychiatrist is very good. Have only seen her once but I can tell. I've had good luck here in the past but during the pandemic had to see other ones that weren't so good. I'm seeing a lady named Amanda now and she seems wonderful.
Compass bought Comtrea which was my old Health Network. Compass doesn't believe in prescribing benzos. I haven't been back since I found that out.

I take my son to the belleville location, he sees a counselor there and sees one of the psychiatrist for his medication needs. We haven't had any issues since coming there. My son really enjoys going to see his counselor, especially on the days the weather is nice and they go walk and tall outside. The ladies at the front desk have always been nice and helpful. And since seeing his psychiatrist there has been a huge improvement with his moods and behavior at home and at school. As of right now I'm a happy mom seeing where he's at now versus a year ago.

I am a recovering IV heroin addict, I have struggled with maintaining sobriety and managing bipolar and anxiety. I have been going here for a few years now and I have been able to stay clean with MAT and consistently manage my mental health. I have seen a few different providers in my time there but they have all been amazing! I feel heard and safe and every there has your best interest in mind. I look forward to my appointment every month. Everyone from the receptionists to the pharmacy and providers are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Gateway showed me the way to save my life! I'm going to talk about the app. I love it. I have had struggles with having a daily routine my whole life. This app is something I use daily. I cannot say a single negative thing about a single person I've met at this clinic! I've been a patient at the MAT clinic for almost a year and everyone I've encountered has been not only supportive but an exceptional example of humanity. Keep an open mind when reading reviews. There are hundreds of people that come to this clinic. There has to be rules in place and some are not going to be understanding or appreciative. Especially in today's society where everything is supposed to be gift wrapped with a smile. This facility treats the most difficult conditions society faces and they do an excellent job of it. Queen of Peace gave me the tools to save myself from alcohol addiction. Overall, I found the staff to be dedicated, hardworking, and compassionate.
It’s scary admitting you need help with an addiction, especially when you realize you need inpatient treatment. I had a tough time adjusting at first (ended up with 8! roommates in 2 months) but the counselors, peer support staff, and BHTs were always understanding, and supportive. Having access to the beautiful chapel was a blessing as well.
The outpatient program is just as helpful as inpatient. It’s the perfect way to transition back to your “new” normal life.

My therapist that works at this location is awesome. Her name starts with an A. She truly seems to care. I feel compassion and humbleness through her assignment to work with myself. It's very well noticed and appreciated. Thanks again.

I have been going to Comtrea for years And they are amazing. Always extremely helpful kind courteous and caring. They have helped me in so many different ways I can't even explain how thankful that I am for them. Without Comtrea I'm not sure how my life would be today thank you very much for all of your help everybody the staff and doctors are all wonderful. The support I am receiving and have received is amazing and has helped me out a lot.. Way to go Comtrea Staff!😁👍👍

I love this place, because it helps me love myself. get to know myself. it's really a growing spot people can really grow here( spiritually , mentally and physically) when you're on drugs you know you stuck! now you lie to yourself and you don't even know it. you know they help me recognize my lies in me. the way you think backwards sometimes you know; I used to think they were good and I like them in the matter is that are not good for me and they never had been. it' s taken relationship my friends my kids . They teach me how to gain my dignity back my respect for me and others. how I can be balanced I'm learning not to drink from my lower self but my higher self as like what would your God. It's about being a better person that I was contagious for and keep that going and growing.
