Came to these people in mental crisis. Enrique was the first I spoke to. I'll never forget how compassionate and understanding he was. He also called me to try to get me in earlier than my scheduled appointment. I see Katelynn (I'm terrible at names and probably misspelled her name, 😐) She is Wonderful. Very empathic, compassionate and such a good listener. I know I haven't been easy to deal with. I'm not having an easy time dealing with me and everything around me.. but Katelynn is helping me. For everyone that I've encountered there, they have been so very nice to me. Even when I wasn't being so nice to be around. For me, this place, Enrique, Katelynn and the rest of the people I've encountered, has been a Godsend.

I think the service and staff is top notch. I have built a great relationship with my counselor and the staff, who has the experience and knowledge to assist me with the issues I need assistance with. My insurance has changed, they will work with you as long as you show you are making progress on your account. I was given the opportunity to switch to another provider due to insurance, but the trust and relationship is worth the price than starting with another provider. If you are honest with your self and open to the ideas and tools being offered, I am sure you will get the help and assistance you need with Compass.

This VA Hospital is unique in that it actually does the job it was designed to do. The treatment of wounded veterans which they do absolutely excellent. the staff is always on point and helpful the only draw back here is services are limited you get seen right away but some specialties arnt staffed requiring community referrals. that's where the ball falls most referrals are completed quickly some drag on. overall the treatment of injured veterans is excellent. being in the VA system over 20 years I've seen some horror stories ie; Hampton the worst VA hospital ever. if your in the treatment area of VAMC Amarillo you're in for a pleasant surprise.

I attended their inpatient addiction treatment program, Crestone Residential Treatment Services (CRTS) in 2019-2020. This was the best experience I've had at a treatment center. Their entire staff was nothing but supportive and helpful time and time again (Carol was my fave 😁), and their way of showing each of their patients that they were genuinely invested in each of us and our success seemed effortless, second nature. I stayed for 60 days and didn't have a single negative experience that entire time (except for when Shah's Kababs came around again on the meal schedule and the staff decided to order from a different place knowing I was counting down the days before I could order another Falafel Sandwich.... But I guess we can leave it in the past) I'm only leaving a comment now because I've been recommending CRTS Everytime I discuss treatment with a friend ever since and when i needed inpatient again last year I tried to reach out but never got a response and one friend was told they had closed. . So if this is correct can you guys please remove it from your list of provided services or add a note about how CRTS is no longer offered, or any type of clear confirmation? I've searched the internet for hours on at least 3 different occasions looking for something. I never get called back when leaving messages.

This rehab has an amazing way to make you feel better about finding yourself again. If you're going to complain about the things that you can't do there then you're there for all the wrong reasons. Remember you're there to work on you and learn ways to overcome what our addiction throws at us. Be 💯 and you'll get 💯. Thank you to everyone at Resada who has impacted my life. 30 days isn't long enough but it's a start to get me on the journey of my sobriety!!! And do you see everyone who has something negative to say was court ordered! Your having structure issues try to self admit then you'll see better results.

Justin’s Lighthouse changed my life…. For the best!! Tina and Myles picked me up from East Baton Rouge Parish Prison March of 2019. I was addicted to heroin. No one had faith in me. If you are a parent or guardian seeking help for a troubled child, then you already know it is one of the most difficult situations you will encounter. As parents, we often question ourselves, wondering what we could have done different. Put those thoughts aside. Remember–you are only human. You love your child. You have done all you can. If a parent’s love could heal your child, she would already be well. I know you are exhausted, frustrated, devastated. Take a deep breath and know… There is healing available for your daughter and family. My daughter was admitted to White Horse Ranch in early 2021. She graduated the program after five months of intensive therapy. The change in my daughter was nothing less of phenomenal. I’m not a believer, but I will often describe the staff at WHR as miracle workers. As a parent, I participated in weekly family therapy with my daughter. Not only did I receive regular updates on my daughter’s progress, but a staff person was always available to speak with me–24 hours a day. I could call at anytime to check on my daughter. I’m a single mom and have a tight budget. My insurance covered a great portion of the expenses, but not all. However, WHR worked with me, allowing me to set up a payment plan so that my daughter got all the care she needed. Were there bumps in the road? Of course. After all, WHR is a residential treatment center for teen girls. Therapy is grueling work for anyone, and especially for children. Ups and downs are to be expected. I know my daughter had her share. But… I knew she was in capable hands and that her safety and the safety of all the girls would be guarded and maintained. In a world of instability, WHR maintains a strict, predictable schedule, which is a crucial part of the therapy. The girls learn how to be responsible to themselves and those around them. They learn to keep themselves and their living spaces clean and organized. They learn to organize their activities to make the most of their time. Most importantly, they learn that their choices and actions have consequences for better or for worse. That concept alone is crucial to future success. They also incorporate holiday and birthday celebrations into the schedule which my daughter really enjoyed. And the horses… the equine therapy was an incredible experience for my daughter. She learned to trust and be trusted. She took on the responsibility of caring for the needs of another living being and the rewards of that dynamic have been ongoing. A word about the Christian environment… Yes, the environment includes an element of Christianity, mostly in the form of Christian love. But what is that? Doing unto others as you would have done unto you. That’s a Universal law that most people on earth follow. If someone has an issue with that, I don’t know what to tell them. That said, for those who are Christian, there are services offered every Sunday. However, I am a staunch atheist, so I was a bit worried about indoctrination of my child; however, the staff at WHR was respectful and accommodating, which I greatly appreciated. With all that said, I highly recommend WHR to any parent or guardian struggling with their daughter’s behavioral and mental health issues. And remember, there is healing available for your daughter and family.
