Thank you, Jeremy, for being so kind, knowledgeable and providing outstanding customer service! I called to schedule an appointment with Dr. Ramey, which led to prescription refills, and had the pleasure to speak with Jeremy. In today’s world where you’re lucky to get “minimal” customer service, Jeremy raised the bar and others should strive to reach his level of service!

I have nothing but praise for LAC and the staff that make up the backbone of their approach to, not only substation use disorders, but also mental health. Sadly, this was not my first time around in rehab. That being said, this place is different. The program is incredibly solid and geared towards lifelong growth. They are willing to work with you to get you the treatment you need. The staff are amazing. Compassionate, extremely knowledgeable in both the scholarly and the nuanced personal subtleties that drive addiction. And they care. Truly care! I don't know one of them who wouldn't go out of their way to make something happen for you as long as you were willing to work for it with them. I've completed both the PHP & IOP programs and wouldn't hesitate to send anyone here who needed help. I appreciate everything they have done for me.

I was a client at Lexington Addiction Center for a month of PHP. My experience with LAC was tremendous. They helped me get back on my feet after a relapse and provided me with care that I’ve not experienced in any other treatment setting. The clinicians, TCM, medical staff and techs were all very helpful throughout my experience. This team is really about loving people back to life and it shows as soon as you step inside and are greeted by tons of smiling faces from staff and clients alike. I have never felt as confident in my ability to maintain a healthy life of sobriety as I do now from completing this program. Thank you LAC!

This is the place to find your way to sobriety. BUT ONLY if you are honestly ready to work as hard at staying clean and sober as you did to stay high. I was left struggling daily by another clinic in town that would instantly shut me down when I would try to talk about the struggles I was having. I came here and the Dr listened to me. My dose was tweaked just a little bit and boom my life drastically changed for the better. The staff is absolutely great here.

Bluegrass Counseling Services, where should I start. What a well run counseling center with some of the best most friendly, dedicated, compassionate counselors I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Stephanie went above and beyond to help me with a class I had to make-up on short notice at another facility. This issue was soully caused by me, but Stephanie helped expedite the paperwork process on her own time to meet my needs. Emily was my counselor for my classes. She is great at was she does and this not only comes from personal experience but from the compassion she has for helping others! She is a very personable person that made me want to go to class. Bob thank you for adjusting your schedule to help me with my paperwork! I would highly recommend Bluegrass Counseling Services to anyone looking for a well run facility with a great group of people. Thanks guys!

I truly loved this place. During my time here, I struggled a lot the first couple weeks, and that was intentional on the programs part. It’s not supposed to be easy and you can adjust to the difficult aspects by truly letting go of wanting to control and accepting why you came to get help. I grew more here in a month than I ever could have in the real world. I loved the staff, the doctors, the clinicians, the nurses, and my housemates. I never thought I’d say this but I actually miss being here! The forced structure was comforting and having small responsibilities daily helped me stay accountable. I miss making my bed after breakfast and tending to my little plant. I miss racing to the kitchen after group before 9 am hit so I could have one last cup of coffee. I miss that. I miss making things special as opposed to just having carte Blanche to drink caffeine whenever I want now, it takes the meaning out of the actions we choose when we live with no rules or structure. The content of learning was helpful, and yes at times repetitious, but that’s how we change. Changing isn’t learning something then doing it perfect the next day. It is tedious amounts of reps and time that add up to meaningful change, it’s not glamorous like the world makes change seem. This program is HARD. And that’s what I wanted. I wanted challenge, I wanted growth, and I was sick and tired of being tired. This time in my life I decided I wasn’t the expert on how to do things considering how badly things were going. Please know that if it’s hard or you think it should be your way, it’s okay to let go and let them be the experts in their field. I am forever changed from this place, and I hope you will be too. And I am better for it because of this place, the friendships and love from staff alike.❤️

Talbert House has truly helped me. The staff there are amazing, and always try their best to help us. There are staff who will spend their money and make us breakfast some mornings. I love this place! The staff are all incredibly sweet. They have snacks & hot chocolate for when you’re in the induction room waiting on meds or your first time starting mat. They have either intensive outpatient or regular outpatient. The decision is based on the care they believe you need to succeed in your journey. Everyone is different. If you choose to do mat or come for groups/therapy, that’s your choice. As long as you’re not here from either jail or court. For me, I come once every week & I will soon go down yo bi weekly & then monthly. You have the option here to see a psychiatrist, which in my opinion is just great. Not all of us can find resources that work in our favor where they’re all in the same building. They work with your schedule & needs. Please take the time to give this place a try if it’s your first time seeking help for outpatient care. They are genuinely friendly & helpful. I’ve been going here for a month & I feel like this time around I’ve made transformations. We are all in this together! Get the help you need!

Great place to be now. Doctors, counselors, nurses, etc. Better ran now than before. Just took away a star because of how every time you need something and call and I needed to speak to my counselor for a minute has nothing to do with her but they want to know and ask and get rude if you don't tell them your private information that is supposed to be confidential..... It's understandable that they're trying to see if they can help with anything. But to keep prying to try to find out what it is about etc. Is not okay. Counselors and are the ones that, "need to know", why i need to speak with them. Period.
