Shepherds Shelter is an amazing program It is life changing to anyone who is willing to accept Christ into their life. I am now approaching 2 years of sobriety after going through this program. It has not only turned everything around in my life I would go as far as saying it saved me from myself and the life I settled for in addiction. I have been working as peer support since completing treatment, and am well on my way to obtaining an associates degree in Human Services. The treatment offered here and God have done many things for me I would never have done for myself. I not only recommend this program to anyone still suffering through active addiction to consider treatment through Shepherds Shelter but I encourage them to take that first step in surrendering to God and welcoming Christ into their lives by reaching out to this facility. Transformation is possible and we do recover...but it all starts with the individual!

I have been connected to this ministry for over 15 years and I have been able to see the consistency to not only minister against the enemy of addiction but they build deep relationship roots of Jesus Christ in the individual. They do not work for a six month program but they work for a life partnership to always be there for the individual even after the program is finished. This ministry has devoted their lives to those that many times the church does not want but the Lord deeply desires! Hello my name is Michael and I am family. I remember the first time I said this because it is the way we introduce ourselves at shepherds shelter. To be honest I didn't want to say it and didn't believe it. After 26 years of drug abuse I was anything but family by the world's standard I was Labeled as a drug addict junkie, thief, convict, liar, user and a list of names I'd rather not mention. But as I soon learned from pastor " it's not what people call you that matters it's what you answer to" I'm proud to say that today I am 2 1/2yrs sober a man of God because of the love and mercy that was shown to me through all shepherds shelter staff and especially Pastor and momma. Before coming to Shepherds Shelter I spent almost the last 10yrs of my life sleeping on the street. I seen nights I have literally almost froze to death. Spent 10 years in prisons and jails and seen no kind of hope for anything good I soon found myself back in jail , so I begged for rehab. Honestly my intention was just to get out of jail but that all changed in a Saturday night church service as I hit my knees to pray. I didn't pray some fancy prayer or make any deals I simply submitted I told God I don't know what I'm doing I obviously don't know how to live life please show me. Boy was I in for a game changer. The more I leaned into what was being taught there the more I started to see and feel change in my life. I truly became family and was treated as such. The values and morals that have been instilled in me from shepherds shelter have forever changed not only my life but every life I come in contact with. I am no longer that list of terrible names. I am first and foremost a man of God but I am also a husband a father a son a brother a friend and most of all I AM FAMILY AT SHEPHERDS SHELTER. Today I am someone you ministers the gospel and tries to show the same love and mercy I was shown here. I have my own home a beautiful wife and an awesome relationship with my children. Mahajan is an excellent sober living that I completed myself. Not only did they help save my life but they gave me the opportunity for employment and began my journey to working in the treatment field.

Mahajan is an amazing place with amazing staff. They helped me to save my life and learn how to live a productive life. I can never thank this place enough for teaching me how to live a life of sobriety ❤️

Staff are angels and all of them truly care about your well being, and want to see you thrive. Sadly theres only one doctor there and they work once a week, and they're quite a bit stingy with certain medications (Like amphetamines for ADHD and Benzos for panic disorder). Highly reccomend this place for therapy and some mental health medications, but I'd look elsewhere for primary care.

This is the place to find your way to sobriety. BUT ONLY if you are honestly ready to work as hard at staying clean and sober as you did to stay high. I was left struggling daily by another clinic in town that would instantly shut me down when I would try to talk about the struggles I was having. I came here and the Dr listened to me. My dose was tweaked just a little bit and boom my life drastically changed for the better. The staff is absolutely great here.

Going on almost 2 years sober. This place is helped me out a lot everybody there is friendly. If you're serious about getting sober this is the place to go

This is a great place everyone is there to help you on your road to recovery from staff to counselors & Dr's everyone goes all out to help you. The only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is sometimes you might be there for 2 are 3 hours seeing counselors and the dr really on my opinion I only need 1counsaler instead of 2 are 3 different ones all askig me the same things other than that it's a great place highly recommend if you are wanting to get you life back on the right path.
