Drank for 20 years before coming here. Im six months sober now not even one beer. The setup and environment at belle grove are exactly what i needed.
Classes, employees even the other rehab people were awesome. If you are having issues this is your place! Just go, they take care of the rest.

I have been helped in a very difficult situation when crisis services were utilized. I really appreciate the way Justa and Tara handled the hard conversations with my family member and for the understanding my husband and I felt directed toward us at that time. Moving forward, I am definitely going to establish ongoing counseling and medication management services with Comprehend. No system is perfect, but so far so good.

Went into the ER with severe abdominal pain, ER wait time was kind of long but they were slammed that day. Once I got took back they immediately started giving me medication to help with the pain and later found out it was pancreatitis. I was admitted for 6 days, ER staff was nice and relayed all info to me as soon as they got results. Med Surge nurses were also very nice and helpful both day and night shift, doctors were also very helpful. All medical staff were very friendly and helpful. Hopefully I never have to go to the hospital again but I would recommend UK Saint Claire.

I have been attending therapy sessions with Dr. Alicia Moran. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful she is. I will say that our sessions are not always easy - she consistently challenges me to think differently, alas, allowing room for growth.... if I so choose to rise to the challenge and not allow myself to wallow in a victimized mindset. My marriage was a wreck. I had been to other counselors in the area. I just didn’t see any positive results from the level of care that I was receiving. I felt hopeless and that my marriage was over. A friend of mine could see my struggles and asked me to give New Hope counselors a try. I had never heard of them before. With nothing to lose, I made an appointment and am so thankful that I did. I have been going for a while now and life is getting better. There is still work to do, but I am getting better. My marriage is getting better. The kids are not as distant from me as they were before. My counselor really connected with me. They explained hard truths to me so that I could understand them and accept them to begin healing myself and my family. I really felt a personal connection at New Hope and I believe that is what helped me the most. I felt like my counselor was really interested in me and my situation. Not just treating me the same as everyone coming in their door.

The staff is so nice and very polite and they go out of the way to help you try to get whatever you need if you need a social worker if you need a mental health counselor, any doctors appointments they strive to help you get back on your feet. Shepherds Shelter is an amazing program It is life changing to anyone who is willing to accept Christ into their life. I am now approaching 2 years of sobriety after going through this program. It has not only turned everything around in my life I would go as far as saying it saved me from myself and the life I settled for in addiction. I have been working as peer support since completing treatment, and am well on my way to obtaining an associates degree in Human Services. The treatment offered here and God have done many things for me I would never have done for myself. I have been connected to this ministry for over 15 years and I have been able to see the consistency to not only minister against the enemy of addiction but they build deep relationship roots of Jesus Christ in the individual. Hello my name is Michael and I am family. I remember the first time I said this because it is the way we introduce ourselves at shepherds shelter. To be honest I didn't want to say it and didn't believe it. After 26 years of drug abuse I was anything but family by the world's standard I was Labeled as a drug addict junkie, thief, convict, liar, user and a list of names I'd rather not mention. But as I soon learned from pastor " it's not what people call you that matters it's what you answer to" I'm proud to say that today I am 2 1/2yrs sober a man of God because of the love and mercy that was shown to me through all shepherds shelter staff and especially Pastor and momma. Before coming to Shepherds Shelter I spent almost the last 10yrs of my life sleeping on the street. I seen nights I have literally almost froze to death. Spent 10 years in prisons and jails and seen no kind of hope for anything good I soon found myself back in jail , so I begged for rehab. Honestly my intention was just to get out of jail but that all changed in a Saturday night church service as I hit my knees to pray. I didn't pray some fancy prayer or make any deals I simply submitted I told God I don't know what I'm doing I obviously don't know how to live life please show me. Boy was I in for a game changer. The more I leaned into what was being taught there the more I started to see and feel change in my life. I truly became family and was treated as such. The values and morals that have been instilled in me from shepherds shelter have forever changed not only my life but every life I come in contact with. I am no longer that list of terrible names. I've never been to a better medical facility. The staff actual care and do everything they can do to help you in whatever situation you have. I've been going here a few years now and have never seen anyone mistreated. The only thing I have seen is people trying to take advantage and the staff, obviously, having to tell someone no, their request isn't possible. There are strict rules and laws and no one should expect the staff to break them.

This is the place to find your way to sobriety. BUT ONLY if you are honestly ready to work as hard at staying clean and sober as you did to stay high. I was left struggling daily by another clinic in town that would instantly shut me down when I would try to talk about the struggles I was having. I came here and the Dr listened to me. My dose was tweaked just a little bit and boom my life drastically changed for the better. The staff is absolutely great here.

This is a great place everyone is there to help you on your road to recovery from staff to counselors & Dr's everyone goes all out to help you. The only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is sometimes you might be there for 2 are 3 hours seeing counselors and the dr really on my opinion I only need 1counsaler instead of 2 are 3 different ones all askig me the same things other than that it's a great place highly recommend if you are wanting to get you life back on the right path.
