Each night when I pray to my higher power, I thank God that I spent 35 days inpatient at Victory. For the longest time I was in denial and thought I could control my drinking. From the techs, nurses, counselors, admissions, and peers, I learned life-long lessons. If you allow it, this place will change your life. If you aren’t willing to accept change and open your heart and mind to the idea of sobriety, then don’t waste your time. Victory will work you hard and educate you about addiction and how sobriety is key to a better life. Through Victory I found inner peace. After completing my stay at Victory, the outreach and peer community have been awe-inspiring. Recovery isn’t over when you leave, it continues and the support is there. Victory and its peers have become my second family. I know that in my constant quest for sobriety, Victory will always be available to navigate me during difficult times. 😍

I am sober and incredibly happy thanks to Victory. The staff from techs to counselors to admissions and everyone in between are excellent. They are very nice, helpful and truly invested in your recovery. The facility is clean and comfortable. The peer support is second to none and become your family for life. Aftercare is amazing. I wouldn't recommend any other facility for residential treatment and recovery.

This was the first rehab I had ever went to. This was in 2015 or 16 well they were located I think in Lafayette and when I got signed in to stay they were moving like the 3rd day that I was there to sunset location . It was cool to see . The old one looked like a house it was cool . I had came in and almost passed out and the nurses and staff made sure I was ok and saw a doctor and that mentally I was okay . I may not have been at my best but the staff and everyone here was so beyond kind and cared about everyone's sobriety and it was individualized and personal . It was pricey back then I'm not sure about now . I had ended leaving but I never forgot and alot of people will say it's about how people treat you that people remember. It helped me in the sobriety process . They were still kind and wanted me to stay so much but I needed something else . Well because I had went for the time length I stayed I got an AA book and I kept it all these years and today it still helps and has helped heal me. If it wasn't for that place I wouldn't know the AA way.

This treatment center saved my life. When I showed up, I was broken, hopeless, and lost in addiction. I didn’t believe I could ever change. But through the program, the staff, and the grace I found here, my life has been turned around.

My grandson is there and I was scared at first I didn't even know what the property looks like or anything but it's pretty much way out in the boondocks seen plenty of corn fields and it's located down a long gravel road I was like oh my God there's not even blacktop roads but we got there and it's like a couple separate buildings and my grandson was so happy he didn't act like he wanted to go home or juvie LOL the staff was very nice it's way more than I expected I had told my grandson that I would like to try to maybe donate some stuff for them to do you know games and stuff like that but he said no mamaw we have plenty of stuff to do I get to choose my chores and I chose to cut grass what she likes because his papa never lets him we're about an hour and a half for longer away from there but it's really nice as we were there they was cooking them po'boys french fries and I'm trying to think something else but he said he's eating very good there and you know they pretty much mentor them and cancel them and they don't see race the one man that works the board is you know the one that told me that and he was so kind to us he seemed like he really cared about my grandson

Dr Dana Miller is the absolute best doctor hands down! This CBOC is awesome & I am so TIRED of hearing people complain. We all feel bad or would NOT be going there. Learn to work the system by sending a BRIEF secure message to your healthcare team asking for specific help. Each Doctor has over 1000 patients and things always run smooth for me because no matter how much chronic pain I endure, my team has only helped me and I am NOT rude. Just try being nice & patient.

I have gone a couple times and the staff have been great I would recommend this place before anywhere else and I have been to other place. Four years ago I entered the doors of pathways broken and afraid when I left out those doors two weeks later I was different, ready to face the world and unafraid I wanna thank the nurse that sat up with me at three in the morning when I asked for the phone to call home ready to leave she encouraged me and told me that the fight was already won! Whispering Oaks was a life-changing experience for me. I didn't expect to have such a blast while learning and growing. The counselors were phenomenal, providing heartfelt and individualized guidance. The sense of belonging and support from the other peers was remarkable. YOU Vets complaining either stop going and go pay for your healthcare somewhere else instead of taking up spots for VETERANs that actually need and appreciate the care the VA is providing.
