Was sent to northern light emergency department by my PCP. An ambulance picked me up at her office. Everyone in the emergency department was caring, compassionate, and worked together to help me. I was then sent to a regular room for five days. From CNAs, to nurses, to the doctors... They we're helpful and very explanatory. I was scared and they were listening! They helped relieve my fears and found a solution.

The staff in the day surgery floor was amazing to my wife and surgeon dr. Britton was professional and did an amazing job with the surgery would recommend his team to any looking for a surgery

What!…..I can only give 5 stars! 🤔 I would give 10 stars if it was an option. I have been talking to my social worker on the phone for approximately two years now. I get a full 60 minute visit with her and it helps greatly. Early on I believe it was only a matter of a few days before they sent me up for my first appointment. Chelsea listens to me rambling on and on… And when I finally let her speak (LOL) she will come up with some good suggestions in order to help me, help myself. Therapy for me is a very slow process. Let’s face it I’ve had problems for decades… Do I really think they were all going to be solved overnight, NO! That one hour a week helps so much… And every once in a great while I need to rely on the crisis line… That’s what they are there for. I have called Higher Ground maybe three times and asked to have Chelsea return my call, and within one or two hours she gets back to me. I have zero complaints, and only great praise to give all those working at Higher Ground. ☺️👍🤟🤘✌️ 🤜💖🤛

An amazing place to find the best therapists and counselors in the Bangor/Brewer area (and probably all of Northern Maine). The staff are caring and professional. They are willing to listen to each client's individual needs and form a treatment plan that puts the client (not just their symptoms) at the center of it. If you are in a financially difficult position, do not hesitate to talk with the front desk about how they can help you get treatment without over extending your means. The amount of healing I have experienced at Higher Ground is staggering. I feel anyone who is struggling owes it to themself to schedule a consultation. Thank you Higher Ground!

Seeing some of the reviews people have left here are a bit disheartening to me... I completely understand one person's perception of something can be unequivocally different from anothers. I understand that we are all struggling, and that always adds to the everyday challenges we face. We are also immersed in a pandemic that NONE of us asked for nor wanted, yet it was thrust upon us regardless. That has made scheduling very difficult(everywhere really) but especially in a facility such as this. So many are desperately struggling with the world around us, it is a collective worry that has invaded all of us. Society is uneasy, we are all struggling. Some assuredly more than others.. My own personal experience here has been nothing short of a true Blessing. I am struggling right now with many personal and work issues and undoubtedly needed to reach out for help. I put my pride aside, as well as the stigma so many of us bear with mental health issues, and was referred to Tri-County. They immediately set me up with not just a professional- but a TEAM of professionals who are ALL 100% looking out for me, my best interests and my own personal pursuit of happiness. They have gone above and beyond their 9 to 5 duties, even checking in with me on their personal time and weekends to be sure that I am happy, healthy and back to living life to its fullest potential.. The times we are in do not occur in a personal vacuum, this affects ALL of us. Including the professionals working here. They are people too. Yet, they set their own personal trepidations to the side in order to help others. To help us. To everyone here at Tri County Mental Health: Your work here does not go unnoticed, nor should it be discounted or overlooked. You are uplifting our community with a vital service. So many of us suffer quietly and alone with depression, substance abuse, anxiety, PTSD and a plethora of other struggles. Especially in the times we find ourlves in. If any of you ever by happenstance stumble across this review one day, I just want to personally say - thank you. You are appreciated.... A special personal recognition to Dr Paul Vincel, Tiffany and Shannon. THANK YOU for all of your help along this rocky path in my life.

I was one of the first patients of Grace St years ago in its humble beginnings.. Back when it was a small operation with only 5 or 6 patients. I found Marty especially to be down to Earth, caring and knowledgeable. Especially since many employed there once suffered from the same afflictions as we now seek freedom from.. I would definitely recommend Grace St. Here it is nearly 8 years later and i have my family back, a home, my license... All things i once thought i would never see again. I now have my life back, yes it took hard and determined work on my part, but also by the grace of others, at Grace St...

Every staff member was always encouraging me, lifting me up and giving me insights to reach my goal: sobriety. Their guidance was vital for the person I have become. Thank you for saving my life!

After countless hours working with different therapists, psychologists, and various specialists, I finally was given a chance to move forward from a road block diagnosis given to me after 30 minutes with a doctor in Acadia as a teenager. I literally cried at my initial assessment when Chris was willing to try a new route and actually hear my story. They blood test you, which can be a glaringly obvious source of internal dysfunction. They refer you for testing and therapy. This is the one place I have not felt bullied into taking one type of medication that has no positive aspects for me. If MBH wasn't it for you, keep looking. Eventually you will find someone who is willing to help you.

Great support and services and dreams logan as well as counseling and IOP address what help you need and get you there and listen to you. Dr logan is a blessing in my recovery and mental health as well as all staff. They are always busy and that's normal but I will never go anywhere else for help. Feel safe and that dr logan and all staff want to truly help me and can trust them and their help. Thanks for the support and vote of confidence and happy to have you all

I was so impressed with Dr. Logan's first appointment with my son. His knowledge and demeanor were top notch. Within minutes it was obvious that he had read over the assessment and understood my son and his needs. We have had experiences with several substance abuse agencies and this is the first that we have been thoroughly hopeful about.

I have been taking my daughter here for a couple years now as she is bipolar and Dr.Martin is her med manager. He is a good Doctor and really listens to the parents views, situation and input. We definitely work together when it comes to my daughters mental health and what she needs. I also love Marie and love working with her as well! I would definitely recommend this place for mental health issues.

As a Veteran with a 100% disability rating, I have been a regular patient at this VA healthcare facility for the last eight years. During every visit, the medical and clinical personnel have consistently delivered superior care. I always receive my prescriptions through the mail punctually, as guaranteed. The staff are welcoming and devote time to offer support and respond to inquiries.

WRJ VA has given me a level of care that far exceeds the expected.

Its all in how you carry yourself while your their, if you need help ask for it. Ranting amd raving around the clinic being aggressive is gonna get you treated differently. Go in and be a normal decent person, be civilized for christ sakes your experience will be much more positive. In the end like you, there only doing there job. Ive been there 6 years and ive never ever had an issue everyone's very nice and makes my short time there better, always talkative and very friendly. Without them i know i wouldn't be standing on this side of the ground. Where many of my friends and family unfortunately have lost their own fights and their no longer her with us today"RIP". So super thanks to all staff for all that you guys do each and everyday..

First of all I got to say I had a very good experience up to this point and hopefully continue a great experience with everyone here in the three months that I have been here. This team has been great and have gone way above and beyond . I also can compare from the clinic in Orlando that I was in beforehand . I agree 100 percent with the comment that the entire system sucks. It sure does but understand that there are federal guidelines they must abide by. Sometimes believe it or not when you screw up the system is not in your favor. However, thankfully I haven't screwed up. I've overcome many obstacles to work the system in my behalf. There is much help from this caring staff when you try on your part. Thank you for going way above and beyond Jen, Robin, Dr. Carteli, Erin, all the beautiful ladies at the front desk, and nurses! Seriously, I could not have come this far without and look forward to your help moving forward. Thank you so much! For everone that's going here have faith on the system but first and foremost have faith in yourself! You can do it and will!
