Drug Rehab Centers in Fort Kent, Maine

Previously had Sabrina Daigle as my case manager for about 5 years (?). She was and is amazing. Very straight forward, genuinely cares and will push you to try when she knows you can succeed. Kayla Michaud is also great; she's another that genuinely cares about her patients. She's kind and is a great listener. Currently seeing Robin and she is absolutely fantastic. Very friendly, intelligent, and uses many different techniques. She'll find what works for you if its the last thing she does. The receptionist in Madawaska is so, so sweet. Myra in Fort Kent is also a sweetheart. I have no complaints about any of the incredible ladies at AMHC.

My experience was back in November. My husband was brought in with an appendix which burst. The Dr Noursfar said I should call the family. I knew then it was a very serious situation. My husband has undying condition that complicated things. The nurses on that night was beyond expectation. They were so attentive. They knew once he went upstairs I didn't know who was taking him from the emergency room. They called the nurse upstairs and they introduced her to me. I felt so comfortable and eased my fears a little bit more. The surgery took 5 hours. Every time I went upstairs to the surgery unit the girls met me with a smile. Finally, they sent him downstairs. The nurses, Dr Noursfar deserve a gold star! My husband came out that surgery but the Dr saw something he thought we should get checked out and again. He was right. My husband had lung cancer and is in remission. He's not 100% out of the woods. We are doing immunotherapy. Again, I'm proud of our hospital and the people who work there! Thank you!

I've found my experiences with the infusion center, radiology and the lab all very helpful and thorough.

The place is wide, has ample parking, beautiful green areas, very hygienic and clean. I really like the place as well as the staff.

They saved my life, I went through a lot. The real deal dude, if you want to get honest with yourself, first accept you need help, Aroostook is the place. It's not for the faint of heart, be prepared to work hard, learn, and especially to be held accountable for your past and present. I am blessed and grateful for my experience

I completed the 28 day program at the farm last year, and overall had a good experience. Most of the staff are extremely helpful and really do care! The unfortunate part is like many others have experienced, they try to cram so much information in your head in 28 days that s it s almost impossible to retain any of it after the first week or two. I don t remember much of my stay there. It was an opportunity to clean myself up, and meet some good people though. I would recommend it if you re willing to work hard, can handle many hours of group therapy, and you are willing to stay clean. To date, I haven t relapsed, so it must have worked! Also, if you wish to get involved in medically assisted treatment they don t offer that there. So I would advise to start there before hand so you can have that extra tool to help while you re there. I started m.a.t after I completed the program and that s also been a help. Good luck!

In 2006 this was the 1st rehab I had ever been to. It was The Farm back then. Best experience ever. I loved how we had to study our addiction. Yes i relapsed several times after my time there, but because of what I learned there, when I was finally ready, I was able to get clean.

My journey started here at RTF!! Because of them, I've been able to do things in my recovery that I could never have even imagined!! I'm curious, when is the alumni celebration?? Would love to give back to you, this gift is so Beautiful!!!

Staff are compassionate and considerate. My family has benefitted from a variety of programs available through their organization.

Amazing workers! Very understanding and helpful. I miss them. But their only always just a phone call away..

The nurses are great, but they could do without Steph. She is very disrespectful does not care about the health or well being of staff or patients.

The place has gotten a lot better. The nurses at the windows are great. They have new counselors. The security guards are great. Not much to complain about today.

I really enjoy the staff I think they are very friendly and courteous. Sometimes the lines get a little long but as long as you do what your supposed to do you can get a week's worth of take homes. The only reason why someone would most likely have a bad time here is because they are not getting off drugs and not doing what they are suppose to do. So if your being treated poorly by staff it's probably cuz they know your a loser who won't stop failing urine test and skipping out on counseling and thus giving methadone clinics a bad name. So I would definitely recommend this place to people who truly want help cuz it's a friendly comfortable atmosphere. For those who won't take it seriously go some where else.Update- still at this clinic and still very happy with this place and I'm so happy they finally fixed the giant. Pot holes in the parking lot. I've seen a lot of staff here come and go but one thing stays the same the treatment here is top notch. I've been at this clinic since 2010 and would definitely recommend it to anyone struggling with addiction issues. Don't be nervous about going here to get help it's a great place with great friendly employees. The new security guard is pretty cool too.

Working at and learning the mission of Blue Sky Counseling has taught me about addiction and how to really help people that struggle with it. The staff are truly dedicated to the people they serve.

My counselor was open minded and demonstrating a desire to help. I requested and received homework for the next sessions. I gleaned some new information for me to think about and consider in things to better myself in.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Bluesky, and I couldn t be more grateful for the experience. From the very first session, I felt welcomed and understood. I feel this is a safe space where I could openly discuss my thoughts and feelings, and continue to heal and grow.
